I think I gently killed BG3 for myself lmao
#I keep seeing people playing through it and going oh man I have like 8 playthroughs I could finish#(I finished 3 solo ones already this is not a case of never finishing the game)#but I hit Act 3 and just don't want to play anymore#which is terrible news for 2 or 3 friends because guess what we hit before I put down the game for a year#though in my defense of one- playing on Honor Mode has Ruined Me#because my fiance wanted to beat the game on Honor before playing it normally for the first time#so it was me sitting with like 500 books and notes of how to survive each boss fight and losing my mind#while he just ran around as a monk with 0 braincells and thriving#it was fun but very stressful and Act 3 has like 28 encounters to do all of which could instantly end the run#and I also need to figure out if I'm sticking with my lore bard who does 0 damage but inflicts 100 status effects#or go for sword bard who attacks 6 times in one turn#I think the answer is keep the debuff bard but turn my cleric into Reverb so bosses have -10 to attack rolls#and just leave murder to my fiance lmao#he's in control of the monk and barb so really he doesn't need me for dps#anyways I love BG3 it just needed 4 acts not 3

I play an earth kineticist that has a horrible struggle with reading people and social cues. He also likes to sleep on the floor to let the earth take him. He also has a ring of sustainment so he sleeps for 2 hours anyway
We're at a NPC house, she's a very old wizard lady who treats all the players like her grandchildren (even if the youngest PC is 25 and he's my kineticist, the bard is 49 and the multiclass barbarian/cleric/monk is like... 300+)
Grandma Lady: okay everyone, I think it's time for you to go to sleep! I unfortunately only have my bed and an armchair, so we'll have to make do
Bard: *sits down to sleep on a chair*
Barbarian/Cleric/Monk: *turns to a rock and lies down*
Kineticist: I'll sleep on the floor *lies down*
Grandma Lady: no you won't! think of your back, it will BEND so bad!!! *forces him up and throws him on the armchair*
Kineticist: *stands up* I'm fine. I'll just take a nap anyway, it's not like I'll lie down on the cold hard floor for 8 hours
Grandma Lady: what??? didn't your parents teach you good manners??? you need a full 8 hours!!!
Kineticist: I- I just like to sleep on the floor? it has nothing to do with manners. and... I really don't need the 8 hours. I'll be alright.
Barbarian/Cleric/Monk: he's an architect, he doesn't sleep for long.
Grandma Lady: you youngsters are all terrible!!! you, kineticist, you go sleep on the armchair now!!!
Kineticist: no?
Grandma Lady, taking out a slipper: 3-
Kineticist: I like my floor
Grandma Lady: 2 and a half-
Bard: just do what she says, she's a grandma with a slipper!
Grandma Lady: 2-
Kineticist:
Grandma Lady: 1!
DM: she hits your with her slipper, you take 420 nonlethal damage, fall back and pass out on the armchair

Do you happen to have respec advice for other characters apart from Wyll?
Heya, thanks for asking! ❤ Here's what I like to run the other companions on.
Shadowheart: Light Cleric all 12 levels. She becomes a beast using Spirit Guardians, Fireball and Guiding Bolt. Also ridiculous overpowered in act 2. Give her Lathander's Mace and win.
Lae'zel: Battlemaster Fighter 12. Or if you don't like extra buttons, Champion Fighter 12 is great too. Fighter is a fantastic beginner class imo.
Astarion: Thief Rogue 4/Gloomstalker Ranger 5/Champion Fighter 3. You want the double attack from ranger, the action surge and ofc all that sweet lockpick proficiency. Give him a bow, he'll destroy everything.
Gale: Fighter 2/Abjuration Wizard 10. Finally that poor man not only has some good defenses, he smacks hard too. No more lying on the ground for him. (credit to nix on discord for this bc I was struggling lol)
Karlach: Open Hand Monk 8/Thief Rogue4 hits like a truck and imo fits Karlach. But Berserker Barbarian 8/Thief Rogue 4 where you throw all the things is also very good. I keep forgetting to buy weapons hence why I went with monk 🤣
Minthara: MUST have Thief Rogue 3. Soul Branding is stupidly good not to cast on everyone and only costs a bonus action. You can give her Paladin 9, Fighter 9 or build her exactly like Astarion.
Halsin: Storm Sorc 1/Land Druid 11 has my heart right now because of all the nice spells and mobility. However I am currently experimenting with a Moon Druid build bc I do feel Halsin is at heart a Moon Druid. Will post if I find one I like.
Jaheira: Same as Halsin, who I feel is at heart a Land Druid. Land Druid 12 also is great if you want those super high level spells.
Minsc: Berserker Barbarian 8/Thief Rogue 4 is his thing, let's be real. Let him be the Mad Man and throw everything.
#bg3 builds#gale#jaheira#minsc#halsin#minthara#karlach#astarion#shadowheart#lae'zel#ask regarding Wyll's build post hence why he isn't in the list

What's Rana's story? She seems like a classic Dnd-ish monk but in a Call of Cthulhu setting.
Out of all the character, you've asked about the one with the most drawings and the most gushing.
Rana Hassan is actually a Call of Cthulhu: Masks of Nyarlathotep investigator. She is Egyptian and a dancer by trade living in our 1920s.
IRL the game took like I think a year and a half to complete and during that time we'd have little hiatuses, and I'd go stir crazy for my game fix and would draw, and draw, and draw. Inevitably I started drawing AUs of the characters. Including a DnD AU:
In our game Rana and Everett (her eventual husband) had an antagonistic relationship.
There was a misunderstanding where Everett assumed upon meeting her at the Blue Pyramid Club that Rana was a prostitute. So she got petty and started to pick on him by hitting on him. She thought he was in on the joke and was enjoying the game, that it was just some fun courtship. Ends up he wasn't in on it and was offended that she'd play with his emotions.
So the DnD AU, Rana is hired as Everett's bodyguard as he is working on finding information on how to stop Nyarlathotep and his forces. They occasionally join up with the others on bigger quests but they stay as a duo mostly cause they can more easily get in and out of strongholds.
This isn't like strict DnD world, so the classes don't work out perfectly with like 5e or Pathfinder. I'd say that they start out at like lvl 8 together. In which case Rana starts out fully as a Monk but she soon after takes some Cleric levels with her goddess being Bastet, so she can heal Everett. In the CoC game she did make a deal with Bastet in order to give some of her own sanity to Everett because he was getting dangerously low towards the end of the game. This is also why their first borns, the triplets, are cats. As a fertility goddess, Rana's fertility was the best thing she could offer. In the case of DnD AU, it just means that their first borns will be Tabaxi.
Everett is a Wizlock so like Wizard (5) and Warlock (3), his patron is Nodens AKA "Water Daddy". Was a long running joke that Everett kept summoning his sugar daddy Eldritch entity. Everett's job in the guild is to find information about rituals and how to stop them.
Their relationship plays out similar to the original universe, except they do start out with a sexual relationship. When Rana expresses her love for Everett, he freaks out and fires her. Though a few weeks later when their own missions overlap they get back together. You can find the thumbnail comic about their fallout and reunion on my Ko-fi.
TLDR; Yeah it is basically a DnD world with a Call of Cthluhu setting.

guess who's back! that's right, it's another edition of thisisnotthenerd's d20 stats. this time we're talking level progression.
a few disclaimers: this is only inclusive of initial and final levels. i may go through each season to find the exact points of change and the full progression at some point, but not right now. i don't have the time for that. this is already incredibly long with just initial and final levels. anyways:
level progressions
these are sorted into a couple of categories: major level progressions, minor level progressions, nonprogression seasons, and nonleveled seasons (which basically just means they are non dnd seasons).
to start we have:
major level progression seasons
this includes most of the intrepid heroes' seasons, plus a couple of sidequests that had or are in the process of having major level changes. major level changes means the party levels up two or more levels during the season. without further ado:
fantasy high freshman year: this season had a fairly standard progression; everyone starting from level one, milestone leveling with each battle until they hit level 8 for the finale.
fig faeth:
initial level: bard 1
final level: whispers bard 8
gorgug thistlespring:
initial level: barbarian 1
final level: berserker barbarian 1
adaine abernant:
initial level: wizard 1
final level: divination wizard 8
fabian seacaster:
initial level: fighter 1
final level: champion fighter 8
kristen applebees:
initial level: life cleric 1
final level: life cleric 8
riz gukgak:
initial level: rogue 1
final level: inquisitive rogue 8
the unsleeping city: this season follows a similar progression to fantasy high--the characters just start at level 3 instead of level 1. this let them start with subclasses and a more features that let them swing harder in battle earlier.
ricky matsui:
initial level: devotion paladin 3
final level: devotion paladin 10
sofia lee:
initial level: drunken master monk 3
final level: drunken master monk 8 | hexblade warlock 2
kingston brown:
initial level: city cleric 3
final level: city cleric 10
misty moore/rowan berry:
initial level: lore bard 3
final level: lore bard 10
kugrash:
initial level: shepherd druid 3
final level: shepherd druid 10
pete conlan:
initial level: wild magic sorcerer 3
final level: wild magic sorcerer 10
a crown of candy: this season was a little different because of the initial party composition--the adults started at level 3, while liam and the twins started at levels 2 and 1 respectively. the entry points of cumulous and saccharina obviously affected their starting levels, since they had to match the party at the point of entry. there was also more multiclassing and subclass switches for story reasons this season. just a bit more complexity as d20 itself got more complex.
liam wilhelmina: the most effective subclass switch i think ever. he became a war guy.
initial level: ranger 2 (took beastmaster after 1st battle)
final level: gloomstalker ranger 6 | assassin rogue 4
theobald gumbar:
initial level: eldritch knight 3
final level: eldritch knight 10
jet rocks: she started in rogue with martial adept to match ruby, multiclassed into fighter and dropped her rogue level before she died.
initial level: rogue 1
final level: battlemaster fighter 7
ruby rocks:
initial level: rogue 1
final level: arcane trickster rogue 9 | shadow sorcerer 1
amethar rocks:
initial level: storm herald barbarian 3
final level: storm herald barbarian 5 | battlemaster fighter 5
lapin cadbury:
initial level: celestial warlock 3
final level: celestial warlock 5
cumulous rocks: came in as a cloud, cried over magic, killed chickens for temp hp
initial level: long death monk 6
final level: long death monk 10
saccharina frostwhip: a powerful queen
initial level: storm sorcerer 6 | tempest cleric 2
final level: storm sorcerer 8 | tempest cleric 2
the unsleeping city chapter 2: only a couple of subclass switches this season, but more new characters that played in the multiclass space.
ricky matsui:
initial level: redemption paladin 12
final level: redemption paladin 10
sofia lee:
initial level: shadow monk 8 | hexblade warlock 2
final level: shadow monk 10 | hexblade warlock 2
kingston brown:
initial level: city cleric 10
final level: city cleric 12
iga lisowski: she comes in statted with the party, but it tracks because she's been the steward of a magic Polish dragon box for decades.
initial level: genie warlock 10
final level: genie warlock 10 | draconic sorcerer 2
rowan berry: she comes in late and so only really has the opportunity to start at level 12
initial level: lore bard 12
final level: lore bard 12
cody walsh: can you imagine your intro to magic being selling your soul to a lesser devil and instantly jumping to level 10. he's so bad at everything that it balances. the athletics checks? insane. absolute loser of a mall goth sword guy. a time capsule of the year 2003.
initial level: oathbreaker paladin 10
final level: oathbreaker paladin 12
pete conlan:
initial level: wild magic sorcerer 10
final level: wild magic sorcerer 12
a starstruck odyssey: this season isn't precisely DND and so works a little differently. the party started with level differences: all nonhumans started at level 3, the humans started at level 2, and gunnie was level 1. i think this was indicative of the fact that a) takamori leveled up by getting brain slugged, b) margaret leveled up by undergoing a quarter-life crisis, and c) gunnie probably joined the ship more recently. they also have ship deployments that they take levels in to be able to competently run a ship. deployments are indicated in [brackets] like so.
gunnie miggles-rashbax:
initial level: engineer 1 [mechanic 1]
final level: engineer 6 [mechanic 3]
riva:
initial level: suggestion consular 3 [coordinator 1]
final level: suggestion consular 6 [coordinator 3]
norman 'skip' takamori
initial level: operative 2 [pilot 1]
final level: lethality operative 6 [pilot 3]
margaret encino:
initial level: scholar 2 [operator 1]
final level: politician pursuit scholar 6 [operator 3]
sundry sidney:
initial level: corsair sentinel 3 [gunner 1]
final level: corsair sentinel 6 [gunner 3]
big barry syx:
initial level: ballistic berserker 3 [gunner 1]
final level: ballistic berserker 6 [gunner 3]
neverafter: this season marks the first level 1 party since fantasy high, and also follows a similar level progression pattern. however, they got episode 3'd, and so skipped levels 2 & 3. they woke up with subclasses. the baba yaga also helped them skip from level 6 to level 8 iirc.
rosamund du prix
initial level: ranger 1
final level: swarmkeeper ranger 5 | stars druid 2 | fighter 1
mother timothy goose:
initial level: bard 1
final level: lore bard 8
pinocchio:
initial level: archfey warlock 1
final level: destiny (homebrew) warlock 8
puss in boots (pib):
initial level: rogue 1
final level: mastermind rogue 8
gerard of greenleigh:
initial level: fighter 1
final level: battlemaster fighter 8
ylfa snorgelsson:
initial level: barbarian 1
final level: bear totem barbarian 6 | moon druid 2
the ravening war: here's where the distinction between 'leveled up two or more times' and leveled up two or more levels' has to be made. technically there's really only one major change during the season, but they go from level 4-5 to level 9, so it's counted as a significant jump.
delissandro katzon: this is the second time lou wilson has played a fighter barbarian in calorum. truly i would have two nickels. also the second time he's played a champion fighter that switched to battlemaster and multiclassed. really starting to collect nickels here.
initial level: champion fighter 5
final level: battlemaster fighter 8 | barbarian 1
raphaniel charlock: i don't feel like tracking his titles. also he has so many feats. dear god.
initial level: eloquence bard 4 | rogue 1
final level: eloquence bard 6 | rogue 3
karna solara: the third triple multiclass in d20 history. the only characters that i can think of that are of equivalent assassin vibes are liam, gangie, and skip.
initial level: whispers bard 3 | great old one warlock 2
final level: phantom rogue 4 | whispers bard 3 | great old one warlock 2
colin provolone: oh what a guy. a traditional mercenary if you ever saw one
initial level: battlemaster fighter 3 | rogue 2
final level: battlemaster fighter 6 | swashbuckler rogue 3
lady amangeaux epiceé du peche: she starts lower level than the rest of the party because she's more naive and less prepared for the intrigue and assassination plots. she's the only to not multiclass in this season. the only one.
initial level: arcane trickster rogue 4
final level: arcane trickster rogue 9
burrow's end: i know that it's the ongoing season, but evidenced by the fact that they double leveled up in episode 2, i have a feeling this is going to be a major leveling season. i'm anticipating level 10 as a stopping point, but who knows where they go from here.
tula: stoat mom as a feat is all i'm going to say
initial level: redemption paladin 4
final level: ?
jaysohn: adhd karate boy, or all stoats in a nutshell
initial level: astral self monk 4
final level: ?
viola: the embryonic diapause storyline is going to kill me, i can feel it.
initial level: devotion paladin 4
final level: ?
thorn vale: anxious wife guy cult leader is something i didn't know i needed until now, but i'm so glad that that's where jasper went with him.
initial level: fey wanderer ranger 4
final level: ?
ava: if generational trauma was a stoat. the commitment to the werther's? phenomenal.
initial level: ancestral guardians barbarian 3 | fighter
final level: ?
lila: i'm living for izzy as a stoat that can sneak attack people and read???
initial level: inquisitive rogue 4
final level: ?
and that's all of the major progression seasons. with that concluded, we move into:
minor level progression seasons
as stated earlier, these seasons really only have one major level change as opposed to the progressive milestones of the major leveling seasons. i think that comes down to a couple of things: 1) they all start as midlevel characters who are reasonably powerful 2) two of these are 10 episode seasons that had less time to do progressive leveling than most of the intrepid heroes' seasons, and 3) the timeline of the level ups really only makes sense for one level change, especially since they start out of the low levels that shift easily. fhfy is like a week and a half in universe, t7 and acofaf are each like a week. anyways, here it is:
fantasy high sophomore year: mostly carried over from fhfy to start, with one major level but we really got into multiclassing and subclass switches for story here, i think in part because running live sessions is inherently a little more spontaneous than a pre-recorded season.
fig faeth:
initial level: whispers bard 6 | hexblade warlock 2
final level: lore bard 6 | hexblade warlock 3
gorgug thistlespring:
initial level: berserker barbarian 8
final level: berserker barbarian 8 | artificer 1
adaine abernant:
initial level: divination wizard 8
final level: divination wizard 9
fabian seacaster:
initial level: champion fighter 8
final level: battlemaster fighter 6 | swords bard 3
kristen applebees:
initial level: life cleric 8
final level: twilight cleric 9
riz gukgak:
initial level: inquisitive rogue 8
final level: inquisitive rogue 9
the seven: the ladies are here! they start at the level 9 baseline set by the end of fhsy and hit level 10 in like a week. granted the second half of the season is almost all encounters--three double episode battles total, with two in the back half.
antiope jones: the reluctant leader, not that kind of ranger. a choice aabria character. sometimes i think about the fact that both of aabria's spyre characters could conceivably meet, and it's not even that contrived. myrtle is sam's cousin.
initial level: arcane archer fighter 6 | monster slayer ranger 3
final level: arcane archer fighter 6 | monster slayer ranger 4
katja cleaver: half horse girl, half childhood neglect and abandonment, half rekha shankar's brand of ttrpg decisions.
initial level: battlemaster fighter 9
final level: battlemaster fighter 9 | barbarian 1
penny luckstone: eldest daughter syndrome to the max. deeply funny. an incredible rogue, even if she feeds old men horse meat candy hearts.
initial level: arcane trickster rogue 9
final level: arcane trickster rogue 10
danielle barkstock: actually erika ishii's second shepherd druid. they really like summoning geese, spiders, pixies, and various creatures that can absolutely ruin brennan's day. with a side of no self-care.
initial level: shepherd druid 9
final level: shepherd druid 10
ostentatia wallace: she lives up to the name. the forge cleric i want to be when i grow up.
initial level: forge cleric 9
final level: forge cleric 10
sam nightingale: a masterwork in character building, from a mechanical and story standpoint. i love the use of eldritch adept to maintain the build and keep with the story during their level up.
initial level: storm sorcerer 6 | glamour bard 3
final level: storm sorcerer 6 | glamour bard 4
zelda donovan: my girl! the other fighter barb of the group, but built in the opposite direction. also 55 movement speed? by god she can hustle.
initial level: eagle totem barbarian 8 | fighter 1
final level: eagle totem barbarian 8 | fighter 2
a court of fey and flowers: this season starts in a similar place to the seven with midlevel characters and levels up mostly for story reasons. it's a little more important to track reputation by episode, but i don't have the time for that at the moment.
andhera: hot, but built mid according to omar. an ace he/they king. never actually levels up, probably because they avoid conflict by beign a slippery pillar boy in wet cotton pants.
initial level: devotion paladin 8
final level: devotion paladin 8
k.p. hob: triple multiclass, builds on brennan's theme of self-sacrificial characters who don't think love can find them.
initial level: battlemaster fighter 6 | rogue 1 | barbarian 1
final level: battlemaster fighter 6 | rogue 2 | barbarian 1
lady chirp featherfowl: an assassin wizard with bird puns, a wife and daughter, and no regard for her reputation.
initial level: bladesinger wizard 8
final level: bladesinger wizard 9
lord squak airavis: the sluttiest bird you'll ever meet. the author of the green hunter. they got renner.
initial level: lore bard 8
final level: lore bard 9
delloso de la rue: made me cry when i watched them come out. the outfits. the pizzazz. the 'i love him'. the miscommunications. an icon. doesn't use subclass features, so we'll never know.
initial level: bard 8
final level: bard 9
binx choppley: another fantastic reveal. a single mom who works two jobs, but she's a warlock patron and trying to revive her dead court while masquerading as her friend while said friend dates her warlock on the material plane. truly who is doing it like them.
initial level: arcane trickster rogue 8
final level: arcane trickster rogue 9
now that we're through with the minor progression seasons, let's look at the single-level seasons.
nonprogression seasons
there's variance in these--there's not really a consistent start level. they go low level when they need to and high level when they need to. the lack of progression here also indicates timeline and season length: most of these are 4-6 episodes, and all of these seasons happen over the span of about a day or two in-game.
escape from the bloodkeep: d20's highest level season to date. unbelievable shenanigans, deeply funny. it's also fun for me to note that d20 and cr both have their morally dubious seasons that start and end at level 14 (eftbk and exu calamity) but they end up in literal opposite ends of the comedy/tragedy scale.
maggie (magfelda):
level: berserker barbarian 14
leiland (kraz-thun):
level: hexblade warlock 14
efink murderdeath:
level: grave cleric 14
sokhbarr:
level: beastmaster ranger 14
lilith:
level: shepherd druid 14
markus st. vincent
level: swashbuckler rogue 14
tiny heist:
rick diggins: the most charisma rogue i think you can get. negative dex and strength? grifter
level: mastermind rogue 4
boomer coleoptera: his subclass is unknown--it's never really mentioned during the season. it's theorized that he may be a battlemaster. the muscle
level: fighter 4
agnes: she also doesn't use any subclass specific features during the season. the other grifter
level: bard 4
ti-83: what a little fount of violence. the techie/explosive specialist
level: artillerist artificer 4
bean: the grease with a bone to pick
level: shadow monk 4
car-go jones: the mastermind, even though he's not a mastermind rogue. the danny ocean.
level: inquisitive rogue 4
pirates of leviathan: this entire season happens pretty much in the course of 24 hours. a good chunk of that time is just spent having a spa night at the gold gardens. who is doing it like them. everyone in this party can do magic.
sunny biscotto:
level: devotion paladin 5
bob (barbarella sarsaparilla gainglynn):
level: lore bard 3 | city cleric 2
cheese:
level: necromancy wizard 5
myrtle (the bitch):
level: tempest cleric 5
jack brakkow:
level: ancestral guardians barbarian 5
marcid the typhoon:
level: gloomstalker ranger 5
mice & murder: the oops all rogues season. for a low level season there are some astronomical dcs here. it really does a lot to show off the range of subclasses. all of them have dramatically different abilities, when they're not competing.
gangie green:
level: thief rogue 3
buckster $ boyd:
level: mastermind rogue 3
daisy d'umpstaire:
level: assassin rogue 3
vicar ian prescott:
level: eloquence bard 3
lars vandenchomp:
level: battlemaster fighter 3
sylvester cross:
level: inquisitive rogue 3
coffin run: this season is actually another one with mixed leveling--maybe to indicate time spent with dracula, maybe to level out powers on from a spellcasting level
aleksandr astrovsky:
level: alchemist artificer 7
squing:
level: undead warlock 8
wetzel:
level: mastermind rogue 7
may wong:
level: shadow sorcerer 6
dungeons and drag queens: i'm fairly sure they filmed this season in one shot. a great intro to dnd and the mechanics of level 5 characters.
troyánn:
level: arcane archer fighter 5
princess foehammer:
level: berserker barbarian 5
gertrude:
level: shadow sorcerer 5
twyla:
level: gloomstalker ranger 5
fantasy high oneshots: this is just the one-off characters from the fh oneshots. both of these characters show up in between freshman and sophomore year and so land at level 8.
hargis:
level: brute fighter 8
ficus:
level: dreams druid 8
and last but not least, we have the non-DnD seasons that have no level progressions:
misfits and magic
shriek week
mentopolis
and that's all folks! this one got so long. as always the spreadsheet is open to perusal. i hope you like it!

Arthur Aguefort's ranking of classes
Wizard
That’s it.
.
Ok, but way further down...
2. Artificer – Aguefort likely has many levels of artificer. But he also likes to pretend it’s just wizard magic and tries to make it look like a spell you’ve never heard of.
3. Sorcerer – He doesn’t admit this because he thinks they’re assholes, but also thinks they’re powerful magic wielders and would rather they’re on his side.
4. Bard – They're awesome. He loves bards. He hangs out with bards more than any other class.
5. Druid – Kind of like sorcerer, he thinks druids are kind of annoying. Whenever they start talking about the power of nature or whatever he does that “blah blah blah” hand movement behind their back but again he respects them as powerful.
6. Cleric/Warlock - likes to cause arguments about whether there’s actually a difference between clerics and warlocks or if it’s just because clerics have deals with more popular entities than warlocks. On at least one occasion that has led to him almost not being healed during an adventure and the rest of his party has to convince their cleric to bring him back.
7. Fighter/Monk - He genuinely doesn’t know the difference between these and/or forgets monks exist. But he thinks this is the best non-magic class.
8. Ranger – He has no strong opinions on rangers. They’re there. Too often associates them with the police.
9. Barbarian – He either loves or hates barbarians. It’s really a flip of the coin depending on the phase of the moon, what he had for lunch, and whether he likes their shoes.
10. Paladin – strongly believes paladins are more pretentious than useful.
11. Rogue – thinks rogues are useful on such rare occasions that he would leave them at home. They also always get in the way of his area of effect spells which pisses him of. Also also, he would very much rather go in guns blazing than sneak around and has very little use for sneaking.

just my feelings on the bad kids and their class levels/classes right now. It's just my opinion, I am not bashing the multiclasses or the players choices
Adaine- Love it, she's an 11th level wizard, i get that multiclassing can be fun, but for some classes it's just better, imo, to just stay the course because having access to upper level spells can be more useful than a multiclass. I'm sure there's a broken wizard multiclass, but I think it just fits her better to stay a wizard throughout. Sometimes with full casters, I could see dipping into monk or Barbarian for the ac buff, but neither would help her so It's probably best for her to stay a wizard since she has access to 6th level spells since leveling up
Kristen- Same as Adaine, I personally like full casters to stay the course and keep on keeping on. again I'm sure there's a broken cleric other class build, like Saccharina from ACOC, but I'm not sure anything other than paladin would fit Kristen. A lot of her issues are mental and Tracker was right about her not wanting to do the boring stuff. I like her having to discover what she wants out of being a cleric rather than her dropping it because it's not exactly what she wants for something new.
Riz- 11 levels of rogue, though from the beginning of the season he's now an arcane trickster instead of an inquisitor which I think is more helpful and just a better fit. He's still a detective, but he's also kind of a secret agent so having access to magic helps and fits his character growth. Also he never really used a lot of the inquisitor abilities that often and his perception wasn't that good to justify the subclass. I'm also glad he is staying a full rogue so far, I think given the mechanics of Junior year so far, it would put a lot of strain on him to try and do more than just a single course track
Now for the multiclassers
Fabian- I think both taking levels of bard and going from champion fighter to battlemaster was the best choice for him. I think overall he was a fighter because he was taught to be one, but overall the boy is a bard at his core. The flourishes the spells, the charisma proficiency, they're what Fabian wants more than what he gets from being a fighter. Fabian has always wanted to be popular and stand out while being a great warrior and a swords college bard fits that better than being a fighter, a class he seems to have very little attachment to. Currently he is a 6 fighter 5 bard, since he was a level 8 fighter and gave up 3 levels to take in bard when he was depressed he has boosted up 2 levels in that class vs 1 in fighter. After the initial class level trading he hasn't decreased his levels in fighter, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does in the future.
Gorgug- this is where I get a bit critical, I don't really know if Artificer Barbarian is a good multiclass. I've seen some people say it's amazing while others say it's terrible, I have no clue. from what I can tell it doesn't look like it's super good, it's a support class and a tinkerer so it does fit Gorgug, but I don't think it really is that efficient with the Bad Kid's party comp. Fabian and Gorgug were the front line fighters, Gorgug being the tank and DPS while Fabian was a striker dps with a good hp pool and ac, but Barbarians soak up damage better than any class. It's also hard to be a caster (even a half/third caster like Artificier, and be a barbarian because you can't cast spells or even concentrate on them when you rage which is obviously a problem. It's just hard to imagine gorgug as an battlesmith, which I assume he is, since other than the steeldefender it doesn't give him anything he doesn't already have as a barbarian. We also don't know any of his infusions so it's hard to really be attached to Gorgug as an artificer when we don't really seem him artifice. That being said, he's Zac's character so whatever he wants is gonna happen. Since Gorgug has been trading an additional level in barbarian for artificer (6 barb/5 art) I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually drops barbarian all together. I think a barbarian is more useful, but I can understand why Zac would want Gorgug to go down the artificer path instead and I support it.
Fig- Honestly, Fig's multiclassing is the strangest to me because I can't really wrap my head around it. She so far only has 2 levels of warlock to her 9 of bard, even last level up she took another level of Bard, the two levels she took of warlock were in freshman year and she never really looked back. That being said, from the recent eps, it seems like she likes the warlock classes better, she isn't even sure if she wants to be a bard anymore. which I find kind of a shame because she also liked the 1 bard class she took. Emily is a master multiclasser so I'm sure Fig is gonna be great whatever and will be who Emily wants her to be. I'm hoping she doesn't become a paladin because, even if it's to replace her levels in Bard, despite hexblade being one of the best combos with paladin. It just feels like Fig as the character took levels/are planning to take levels in other classes to make other people happy. She became a warlock because she found her devil father and wanted to be closer to him, she offered to become a paladin for Cassandra to help out Kristen, but I think that's selfless, but it doesn't help her as a person. Sometimes you can be too selfless to a point where it's bad for you. Emily can of course do whatever, but I'll be a bit sad if has Fig giving up on being a bard. Like with Kristen it seems like Fig just doesn't want to do the uncool stuff and that's gonna be with anything she tries. I think she's running away from what she wants herself to be to make things easier/more exciting and I think it's going to backfire.
I will also say, it's not exactly fair for Brennan to poison her bardic abilities. I'll say more on the topic on another post but it's still how I feel.

my predictions before junior year drops tomorrow are as follows:
1. kristen will multiclass into monk, maybe fighter? why else would a cleric be so beefy?
2.☑️ fig and ayda? strong, unbreakable, the only stable relationship in the series
3. fig is gonna be more warlock-leaning now that gorthalax isn’t in a gem
3.5 gorthalax will be put in another gem
4. gilear will die at least once, i’m betting ~5 times
5. kristen and tracker are on again/off again, no one knows when those two are broken up or together
6. pok and sklonda moment, please
7. we’ll see more of gorgug’s bio parents at a family game night (probably hosted by jawbone)
8. adaine multiclass!! i’m stuck between fighter or barbarian (but instead of rage it’s Worry or Stress)
9. ☑️ everyone hates on baby and he loves it
10. more boggy forms, other than frog or owl.
10.5 ☑️ very round animals this season
11. combat during a fig and the sig figs concert, mosh pit gets out of hand
12. ragh boyfriend <3
13. beach episode!!
14. the hangman genuinely likes riz now, they’re good buddies
15. someone is gonna trans their gender (the new kristen art is giving they/she energy)
16. the parental polycule will continue to grow, and moardred manor gets 2 new additions built onto it
17. ☑️arthur aguefort shenanigans and a cool new suit
18. ☑️ the bad kids go to the red waste. for what? i couldn’t tell you
19. fabian comes out as bi and ☑️ he is a menace
20. bill seacaster cameo during the beach episode
21. the hangvan are frienemies
22. ☑️sober hallariel <3
23. gorgug delves more into his orc heritage and is in content with garthy to learn their perspective, b-plot character arc maybe?
24. kristen’s dex mod will go from -3 to -2 (score from 4 —> 6)
i’ll add more

SuyaLight Master Post Part 17
I really like these two there’s not a lot of content for the fandom as a whole soooo here’s my submission as I get every moment of these two royals who literally share a braincell (and I love them for it) First up this is just on the manga if you are anime only its going to have stuff you havent seen, yes even with what the anime covers (so read it) and there will be spoilers so beware. If you prefer Demon Monk/Cleric/Leo (which I don’t really get) I am sorry this isnt for you. Lets go! Part 1 is here Part 2 is here Part 3 is here Part 4 is here Part 5 is here Part 6 is here Part 7 is here Part 8 is here Part 8.5 is here Part 9 is here Part 10 is here Part 11 is here Part 12 is here Part 13 is here Part 14 is here Part 15 is here Part 16 is here
So Twilight tries to go on a simple work trip but Suya tags along
at least this time it was really her fault
But Twilight realizes just how bad this looks from the outside
But mostly from how Leo will view it, whom he has to have a video call with
But he's got a weird supernatural sense that she's around
Twilight almost manages to get out of this situation but Suya ruins it and Leo like teleports there to freak out on Twilight
Suya tags along when they visit a like resort casino and I dunno this is cute
They all get distracted
Suya is excited about Twilight befriending the owner of this place for her own reasons
They're just so cute
But it was a trap and I think its cute they share a bird
Again Suya has a very good understanding of who Twilight is
She seems kinda sad for him and his poor self confidence (So she should stick around and protect him from himself haha)
So the boss who has taken over the demon castle and reveals he's done a better job at managing it than Twilight and Suya judges him (even though Suya isn't making the situation better by constantly breaking and stealing things)
Someone might say this goes against my point but like again she can objectively look at Twilight for who is is faults and all
But they find out the Boss really is just a big Twilight fan and did all this to impress his subordinates
How does Suya know thats what its meant to be?
So the Boss starts beating himself up showing his self confidence issues are worse than Twilights and Suya is confused by his actions
But she figures out what his intent was quickly
She learns....something from Twilight though she doesnt voice it well. Empathizes with others even through something like low confidence is a good trait to have even within a leader. Suya sees that Twilight is willing to let others see his worst side if it will help them.
Suya seems to sense when Twilight is in trouble for good or bad, its bad here
See while the Boss was pretending to be Twilight he made peace with Hades and Twilight has to keep up the lie, but he know she might just let it slip, she does causing the two to fight. This causes them to deage a bit and make the line to the underworld thin and have Suyas soul stuck in the underworld........I'm doing my best to focus on the two
Anyway they go to save her and we get this cause I mean it is kinda his fault
So they assume Twilights ancestor who started the war with humans captured her, but Twilights just annoyed at how Suya gets herself in these situations
Turns out all the problems in the underworld are cause by her which Twilight started suspecting before finding her like this
They try to get her to stop but she won't because she want's to help Twilights grandfather, who has difficulty resting because of the problems he caused in life.

annnyways qsmpblr and opqblr (do we have name now lol? or are we just part of ordemblr? do they have a name? ?? O_O idk whatever)
anyone wanna talk about rpgs? i only really have experience with dnd but id love to trade character stories back n forth and see what ideas people have for settings?
ill go first >:3 my first ever dnd character was a half-orc cleric named Fels who was mentally around 3 years old because he spent 100 years as a statue and was brought to life by a god. He got taken by a cult who wanted him to be the vessel for their twisted misunderstanding of a war god, got some trauma, and eventually escaped to a town where he learned to be a cleric under the healing god. They were my way of exploring freedom through the body, freedom of gender, of dress, of tattoos etc. Sadly our campaign was cut short but I still love my boy dearly he was so fun to play (naive but stubborn and very literal which helped him give solid advice to his often less than solid teammates) I wanted his teammates to give him a last name as he had none, but i suppose he never will have one.
rn im playing a Way of Shadow Monk owlin named Vigil Dullbeak who is a very very young adult (17 in human years) on the run from his community of owlin spies that value the gathering and keeping of intel from kingdoms all over. instead of being raised by parents, he was raised by his community and eventually given an apprenticship under a mentor where hed go train in the woods for about 5-8 years. during this training, his mentor was possesed, and attacked Vigil, trying to kill him. the 15 year old owlin had to hid in a series of cave tunnels, every second thinking he would be killed by his mentor in the dark. eventually he flew back to his community, but the possesed mentor was already there, and telling everyone that Vigil was the one who attacked him. they drove vigil out, and he's been wandering ever since. he has an affinity for cats and an intense fear of the dark. he carries a lantern that he keeps lit while he sleeps. he loves lying, absolutely loves it, and is a brash, violent kid. at heart. he likes to be daring, and doesnt care about social conventions as he was raised outside of 'proper' society. he will talk to kings while glaring, and commoners while smiling. hes size Small, and hates when people think he's a kid (he is technically, for an owlin, not a kid)

for the tav asks, 3, 4, 15, and 25?
THANKS I'D LOVE TO
Since you didn't specify, all extant Tavs' answers under the cut
3: Race and subclass?
Themistocles: Tiefling (Devil's Tongue Variant) Conjuration Wizard. He's also technically 1/4 dragon for '3rd generation adventurer' reasons but this is mechanically a nonissue because see above re: Tiefling.
Xilkalyn: Drow Twilight Cleric (thanks, Cleric Subclass Mods!) In the Vanilla game, he'd be a Light Cleric, but he's also my PC from Waterdeep Dragon Heist, where he is a Twilight Cleric of Selune.
Revka: Brass Dragonborn Open-Hand Monk. She's my only girl who wasn't a 5e PC I'm re-using and therefore she gets No Modded Special Privileges or Background.
4: If your Tav was a companion, where would they be found?
T: You probably have to rescue his dipshit tail from that adventuring party in the temple ruins. "Talk fast eat ass" does not get you very far in the wilderness, turns out.
X: Has contrived to get himself to the druid grove and is probably hanging out with Wyll and making himself insufferably useful. Doesn't feel great about the Drow cadaver on the slab in Nettie's chambers though I'll tell you what.
R: You have to break up a fight between her and Astarion, because she wandered into him first, he tried the knife thing, and they got into a STR 8 DEX-off stalemate.
15: What NPC's do they like? Which one's do they dislike?
T: Likes - He has latched on to Rolan like some sort of nerdy leech. Wants to talk Wizard shit and also smack him upside the head also maybe smooch his dumb face? (This is a problem Tim has with a lot of people, including favorite NPC number 2:) Dammon, who he wants to come live in their camp and make them cool magic items. He likes that Dammon is competent but also a fucking weirdo. Tell Tim about the Hells, Dammon. Spare no detail. Dislikes - Lorroakan. That dude is a disgrace to Wizardry, what the fuck. Headcanon that he has Professional Wizard Beef with him from before the game timeline. Raphael. You're just a Cambion, motherfucker, calm down. Same to you, Mizora. You could do better, Wyll. Enver Gortash, because he dicked over Best Girl Karlach Cliffgate.
X: Likes - Xilkalyn actually recruits Minthara (now that you can do it without committing atrocities), so Halsin is his favorite! They get along, being relatively well-adjusted. He's extremely fond of Alfira, because he has a terminal soft-spot for Bards and she's very Nice. He feels religiously obligated to like Dame Aylin but she's. Intense. He's mostly intimidated by Dame Aylin. Dislikes - Holy shit on a stick but Viconia DeVir. She is a microcosm of so much generational trauma and also so much Kalyn Is Actively A Selunite and so much This Is Why People Don't Like Us. The Emperor. Xilkalyn extended so much benefit of the doubt and for what, man. For fucking what.
R: Likes - Has big-sisterly feeling towards Mol that are probably unwarranted and are certainly unreciprocated. Simps for Nine-Fingers because her taste in women is "dangerous." Much like Tim, also think Lucretious is Neat. Blurg and Omeluum! They're chill dudes, she respects what they've got going down, calm down, Lae'zel. Dislikes - the Zhentarim. Rugan didn't deserve that, probably. Orin, because, Jesus Christ, also, give Lae'zel back >:(
25: What arcana major best represents your Tav?
T: Wheel of Fortune
X: The Hanged Man
R: The Chariot

my joke attempts at explanations for my honor mode builds
tavern brawler 8 oh monk/4 rogue thief astarion: he’s on his healing journey reconnecting with his body by using it to beat people to death with his bare hands. (also i didn’t have any clothes for him and his ac was worse with leather armor so at first he just had to be running around naked i felt sooo bad until i realized i could just turn camp clothes on 💀)
1 white draconic sorcerer/11 abjuration wizard gale: tadpole + orb double whammy combo woke up dragon genes i guess so now he’s mad that he’s a sorcerer AND a wizard
2 tempest cleric/10 blue draconic sorcerer shadowheart: uh. werewolf genes kicking in and they made her a dragon. also god’s favorite princess gets lightning powers because what makes more “nothingness” than pure destruction
6 spores druid/6 necromancy wizard jaheira: when you get to her age you’ve seen enough shit to where 10 zombies following you everywhere isn’t that crazy
3 fiend warlock/9 oathbreaker paladin wyll: um he made an oath of vengeance at first because it made sense but ended up being too hardcore for him so he dipped idk (i just want aura of hate)
2 vengeance paladin/10 swords bard minthara: camp wanted her to chill the fuck out so she took up music as a hobby (might swap her build with wyll honestly)
2 fighter/6 berserker/4 thief karlach: she just likes throwing things this one isn’t really a stretch
12 life cleric halsin: warding bond be upon ye (don’t like playing druids/wildshape so he shall stay in camp and soak up the damage via bluetooth)
12 eldritch knight lae’zel: tavern brawler be upon ye (normal lae’zel build)
#bg3#i drafted this a while ago and ended up killing minthara by accident so scratch that but its funny so im keeping it

Rating my TTRPG PCs
Nay Sayre (she/her) - 5/10 - I love her but she loses points bc I made her a pathological liar and I hate lying, she is also a horse girl, I made her bc of the pun
Mycelium Shakespore (he/they) - 7.8/10 - canon mushroom faerie, canon murder, canon transdimensional hopper and plagiarist
Krampus (he/it) - no/10 - GM said not to get attached so I made him awful
Fayvel (he/him) - 10/10 - trans guy cleric monk, very tall, very autistic
8-00-KR/Booker (it/its) - 10000000/10 Robots good, but I couldn’t play it bc my then pc that campaign didn’t die, it’s amazing in my mind <3
Noemi (she/her) - 12/10 - half demon, divorced parents, GM allows me to read pcs mind it’s very fun, gets swept up in thoughts that npcs lie to themselves about, and it’s very fun to improv about her home dimension
