#fanart #sketch #my art #bnha #shigaraki tomura #tenko shimura #kurogiri #I cried a bit while playing it I missed the classic LoV I missed Kurogiri WITH the LoV it's been so long :(#and it feels like last chapter (423 atm) broke the seal of sketching them as anything but something static #it took me two or so days to just understand that Kurogiri is... yeah #I can't believe it took Horikoshi so long to bring him back but as I said and will say it again I glad it happened at all #after some thought I just want to sit with the chapters #anyway getting the preordered book was so much fun #it was full of LoV from Toga and Dabi talking about her house to Tenko being upset over being told that he doesn't have friends #and everything in-between basically only Compress left to join in the next volume #I think????#I actually want to get another one already they're so goodddd #and the translation sounds pretty good but I checked some pages not the whole book it'll be boring #it's actually so weird to think that I started a goal of reading the whole series ad it was now officially coming out like this back in 201 #and now it's 2024 and the translation is pretty much ahead of anime and maybe it'll be faster than viz volumes too #since it's 2 in 1 basically - I think it's really great since I save some money but get LoV chapters every time #because they appear every 2 books at the start of the series and back then it was hard for me to get them #but I felt content seeing all the books that I bought when I was visiting family for holidays this month because there are so many of them #and I don't need any wi-fi or internet in general to read them back to back now with an addictional volume #they have some mistakes but I don't mind them it feels good to just hold all of them (and a bit heavy after like 8 books) and now it's 18

So I totally agree with the sentiment that S6-9 was painful without Mickey because I almost gave up myself. But I’ll be an Ian Gallagher defender to the end and I really hate when his own stans dismiss his storyline because Mickey wasn’t there and they hated his love interests.

Him becoming an EMT was arguably one of his most important story arcs throughout the whole series and it was crucial to his character development. And more importantly (for me anyways) it was such positive representation of life after a bipolar diagnosis. Watching someone deal with a life changing diagnosis and not be villainised by the narrative and see them make something of their life and have a career and stability, was so inspirational to me.

(I’m not including the s8-9 gay jesus storyline in this rant because I acknowledge that it WAS objectively poorly written despite it having potential)

I totally understand if Mickey is your fave and you aren’t interested in Ian’s arc without him. I get that the show would be boring and a waste of your time if your fave is gone and none of the other characters are interesting enough for you to continue watching. But to see Gallavich stans call Ian’s development trash and outright invalidate it is always so disheartening to me. Especially when I’ve seen the same people praise the other Gallagher sibling storylines just to purposely dismiss Ian’s. Like you can just say you weren’t interested because Mickey wasn’t with him without shitting on him.

listen i am geralt of rivia hater number one but one thing i actually CANNOT stand is when the fandom mischaracterizes him. took one look at this man who speaks very straight-forwardly and matter-of-fact and is a little recalcitrant with his words sometimes and went "haha he communicates in grunts! man who only says 'hm'!" and then won't even write him to speak in full fucking sentences. hello???? hello???????? yes the netflix show was a bad influence on everybody because they were trying too hard to depict geralt as a stoic manly badass but we CANNOT let that distract us from the REAL thing to make fun of geralt for. which are his Constant Unprovoked Monologues

#photo diary #1 - picture of flowers with a cool pattern on the petals. 2 - son baby boy son baby with his arm out in a way that almost looks like he's #taking a selfie or something lol. 3 - some tacos made like I think last summer but somehow I just refound the picture of it lol. 4&5 -#flower with a really cool structure! Like how it's made of these little tiers of smaller flowers going up in a cyllinder type shape but fro #afar just looks like one flower. 6 - the stem of a broccoli that I cut very thin and put small slices of green bean inside of?? I like #messing around with produce scraps sometimes. no idea why I took a picture of this like a year ago. I guess maybe it kind of looks like #a spine or something interesting? 7 - a frozen icy bush from last year. #keese draws #eternal gales #oc art #oc #fydd <3333333333 #he is my bestie I need to get over my fear of drawing him so bad #grips bathroom sink I Will get better at drawing for fun and letting my art be messy and being proud of it anyways #but yeah look at him he is so cute and is so silly and he’s never gone through any traumatic events ever I would never #<- lying lier who lies and loves tormenting it’s ocs #but yeah he’s half alien half human but was raised entirely by his human mom #his alien mom is alas stuck in the cult the two met at rip #fydd doesn’t know abt any of that tho he just knows that he has another mom that his mom doesn’t like talking abt #he loves playing games of all kind but especially loves video games and will play them for hours #not that he has much else to do since he’s spent pretty much his entire life living by a garbage dump in the middle of nowhere #and he’s not allowed to go fuck around in the dump much since his mom doesn’t want him to be seen so he’s stuck at home most of the time #thankfully now he has an adopted sister to play with but he still has viddy game autism #his mom has done her best to introduce him to the various cultures she and his other mom came from but she struggles with it #she was quite disconnected from her own culture growing up and she knows limited amount about her girlfriends home planet #fydd doesn’t mind much rn cause he’s 12 but a certain other older fydd might care a smidge more #fydd does like 60% know both japanese and spanish tho so that’s pretty cool #his mom tried to do regular lessons when he was younger but wasn’t able to keep them up consistently and eventually gave up #mostly because she wasn’t anywhere near fluent in either herself and she had a hard time keeping up with how fast fydd would pick up on it #they still have some books from back then laying around that fydd will pick up and read aloud when he’s bored sometimes #he gets bored of speaking english all the time as his brain is built to pick apart different sounds and assign them linguistic meaning #so reading and speaking different languages is good enrichment for him #his mom doesn’t know this unfortunately otherwise she totally would have gotten him more stuff in different languages to chew on #he does get to learn the language the stalien cast speaks tho he has a lot of fun with that #he alas can’t properly experience most stalien video games though rip #I should rly get to redesigning his human mom again at some point she needs it sooo bad #I mean her whole squad needs it but she’s my favorite so like

ranting about niche things in my own tags so i can come back to them at a later point and see if my opinions have changed (i was in a crowded area for longer than i wanted to today and need to get over my hater energy)

#the vball world anouncers in rio rn are pissing me off so bad.#like my girl emily usually doesnt annoy me but her points are being brought down by the absolute negativity of the other two...#like im not saying every anouncer gotta be like my man clayton cause im sure thats not everyones style but when hes not describing whats #happening the things hes adding are fun/mood lifting #like its such a chore to get through these anouncers negative ass commentary like every single play is a mistake #(unless it comes from their blorbos on the us team)#and instead of just telling us or framing it in an informative way they just have to use boring and overly negative tone.#its especially terrible since the 3 in antalya rn all have such better energy so like the contrast is brutal #hat off to clayton hes my fav but what i like about the 3 in antalya rn is that 1. they have a bit of whimsy in their soul 2. they sound #like theyre having a good time and enjoy the game 3. they will say a play that didnt go to plan without being an absolute fucking downer #about it.#like i fr have to mute games sometimes ...#idk clayton is blorbo from my anouncement panel like when he gets so excited i as a listener get so excited when hes scereaming cause the #rally is so intense im screaming when he is in tears over carolanne kiss at 22 world champs im also in tears like come on #also will never forgive /that one/ for the way they speak about the asian teams/brasil cause dont be a commentator for international events #if youre gonna be weird about it.....#not to sound like i hate all these anouncers cause i dont. as i said the three in antalya are absolutely on it but it sucks that have the #tournament is lowkey ruined for me....#thats dramatic but its just not as fun #like when brasil would score and we'd still be getting a run down of jordan larsons biography... like shes a good player but lets give the #teams equal energy here #sigh
