Lovey holds the box gently, silently squealing at the mini neighbors. "Awee, look at you. So tiny! I'll be sure home gets everything ready for you. Oh, I should get my sewing machine out too. It's been a while since I've made clothes."

cape closure and weathering. The cape is made out of a fleece blanket I got from the thrift store because the color and texture looked about right. Photo on the right is weathering it after distressing the edge. I dry brushed raw umber acrylic paint over the fabric to make it look stained.

live fitting of gauntlets. Dude is wearing the shirt that will go under the chest and shoulder armor. I marked the places where the armor needs to be so I know where to place the velcro. Also, i tried to dye the shirt to make it look more like mando's flight suit but it didn't really work. We're running out of time so i'm just gonna roll with it.

Showing off the gauntlets and gloves. I'm going to trim the black part of the gloves a little so they fit better inside the gauntlets. Also, he will be wearing a long sleeved shirt underneath the t-shirt. Also in poorly dyed gray-brown. He was like "I've gotta show DAD!!!" and hauled ass upstairs so my hubby could see. I can't to share it with you when it's all done. We're almost there.

my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!

the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.

and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!

hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!
