i have writers block so here's my description of how the ghouls look in my head

(they look very different from most people's canon bc i really don't like taking inspo from their unmasked counterparts :])

Rain: dark wavy hair, brushing just against his shoulders. it's long enough to tie back, but there are a few pieces framing his face that are shorter. he has a few beauty marks (that mountain is obsessed with kissing) and wire frame glasses (that he makes mountain clean for him). his face is clean shaven and he has several ear piercings. his teeth are sharp like a sharks. his horns are uneven, the left one longer than his right. they're both a deep blue

Mountain: long straight brunet hair, messy and unkempt if someone doesn't do it for him. his face is permanently sunkissed from how much time he spends outside, and his face is covered in freckles. he's supposed to have glasses, but he hates wearing them. he's covered in bruises from running into things. his horns are remarkably similar to that of a deer, covered in velvet and shedding during the off season.

Dewdrop: short, curly ginger hair with black tips. his eyes are two different colours, one red and the other blue. he has a light spattering of freckles across his nose and cheeks that shimmer like embers when his emotions are high. he has a cleft lip, making his smile endearingly crooked. his horns are short spikes, white like ash.

Aether: slicked back silver hair, like the prequelle masks. he is fat and tall, towering over most of his peers. this is contrasted by his gentle and cheerful demeanor. his jaw is scruffy, several days overgrown but not quite a beard. his cheeks and forehead have several acne scars from his teenage years. he has many piercings on his face; eyebrow, septum, snake bites, tongue. his canines are long and sometimes peek from under his lip. his horns swoop backwards and are a crystal texture, purple in hue like amethyst.

Phantom: gangly, lanky weirdo. he has a tooth gap and the rest of his teeth are crooked, and it is so so adorable. his hair is short and fluffy, a dark purple with white speckles. he has white freckles across his face. he has a lot of piercings, some connected to each other with chains, others hanging. it looks like stars and constellations. his horns curved backward horizontally, becoming a sort of halo. they're white and pearlescent.

Swiss: his hair is uncontained and curly most of the time. its not quite coily, just loose enough to bounce if you pull it, but coily enough to be tied back in braids. his eyes are a bright, almost glowing, orange. he has eyebrow and nose piercings, all gold, and he has gauges. his horns are tall and long, sticking straight up from his forehead. they're red like hot iron.

Cirrus: tall and muscular with a firey personality to match. her hair is long and a dark grey, although its often tied up in a ponytail, revealing an undercut. her eyes are a stormy grey. she has some vitiligo, although it's only visible if she's been out in the sun for a while, the tanned skin revealing the lighter areas. her horns curve along the top of her head, smooth and glass like.

Cumulus: short curly hair to her shoulders, a blinding white. her eyes are red, almost violet, due to albinism. she short and fat, and she's so fucking hot for it. i can't put into words how beautiful she is, almost goddess like. all the other ghouls are crazy for her. her canines are a tad bit longer, she looks like a vampire. the only piercings she has is a tongue piercing and a belly button piercing. her horns curl around and under her ears, like a rams.

Aurora: instead of horns, she has gills like that of an axolotl. they're pink and they fluff up when she's excited. her hair is short, to her jaw, and wavy with two long chunks in the front going to her chest. it ombres from pink to violet to blue. she has slight wrinkles around her eyes and mouth, proof of her near constant laughing. her cheeks are always flushed making her seem like she's always blushing.

Obey Me cast relationship with MC songs (2023 edition)

Found this post when scrolling through my old posts from 2020 and decided it would be fun to give it another crack now that 1) we have a LOT more canon material to go off and B) my taste in music has expanded past just grandma songs (not that I don't still enjoy grandma songs ofc) Also adding Diavolo, Barbatos, and Solomon since I have a better grasp on their personalities now. (Well, only barely with Barbatos, but we'll get to that lol)

Warnings: mild spoilers for lesson 16 of the original game in Belphie's, some of these songs use gendered language when talking about the significant other (implied female: Mammon; implied male: Levi, Asmo) *this doesn't mean MC must be that gender in those scenarios*

Lucifer: Honey Moon by Birds in the Airport. Okay, starting off on a somewhat angsty note lol. But look me in the eye and tell me I'm wrong. "...tear open every exit from the maze inside my mind" like come ON that's literally what MC does with Lucifer. Whether he'd verbalize any of this is another question entirely, but also isn't the point here.

Mammon: Fair by The Amazing Devil. I hemmed and hawed over this for a while, tbh. Wasn't sure if it was a lil too soft for his outwardly prickly ass, but I eventually settled on "this is him but he sure as hell isn't admitting it any time soon". The trouble with tsundere characters ig. But anyway he's a dork and the trying to make his partner laugh when they're mad at him felt very on-brand.

Leviathan: A Shitty Gay Song About You by Ezra Williams. I've associated Levi with this song for quite a while now. It has it all. Goldfish, self-deprication, pining, it's great. Oh, for Levi to lend me his sweatshirt tbh.

Satan: Cat Serenade by Beetlebug. Absolutely adorable song. It has cat metaphors, it has pining, it has the whole "I used to never open up to anyone but here we are", it's just super Satan in a lot of ways.

Asmodeus: Freckles by Kevin Atwater. I mean it's just adorable, first of all. But second of all, the theme of actually falling in love with someone for real when you're used to more casual relationships is pretty fundamental to Asmo's relationship with MC.

Beelzebub: Strawberry Mentos by Leanna Firestone. Idk maybe this is a bit too straightforward but even outside of any food references, it's such a sappy, sacchirine love song that it really does feel Right for Beel, big babey that he is.

Belphegor: Grace, Anatomy by Homemade Haircuts. Okay, while this isn't really addressed in-game, if he ends up in a relationship with MC, the shit that happened in the attic is gonna be weighing pretty heavy on his mind for a long time. Between that and his general abandonment issues, this song is an excellent reflection of his feelings about MC (at least early on in the relationship), even if most of it is stuff he would never actually say out loud.

Simeon: Chai Tea by audrey. Yeah, yeah, I know the title sounds more Barbatos, but the song itself is just so cozy and easygoing. (Of all the possible words to describe Barbatos, I think "easygoing" is about the last thing that would come to mind). All the other love interests are a bit more... uh... intense. Whereas this song is literally just being incredibly sappy and drawing a quiet comfort from the other person's presence even without talking about anything in particular.

Diavolo: Touch Starved by BB Bean. This doesn't require much elaboration, I don't think. The title says it all. Like honestly. "I'm just tired of the bubble, I just wanna hand to hold" is deadass how he acts in every surprise guest (at least in the og game, less so in nightbringer lol). Just wants to feel normal smh

Barbatos: A Wistful Waltz by Teddy Hyde. Okay, I need to apologize to Barbatos stans bc I struggle so much to figure this guy out (which I suspect is the point, but it makes it damn hard to come up with headcanons for him). But based on my tenuous grasp on his personality and... odd dynamic with MC, I think this should fit the bill. It's subdued but with that underlying intensity that I always seem to pick up on with him.

Solomon: Painting Roses by Dresses. I actually don't have much explanation for this, but Solomon in Nightbringer especially is just. He's such a fuckin disaster, man. (I actually was torn between giving this song to Solomon or Satan, but I ended up going with Sol in the end)

sexuality headcanon- Demi bisexual (male preference) or demi gay. he's demi no matter what though. Or ace. just ace spectrum rly imo

otp- Is this even a question. STYLEEEEE style style style. I love style sm. Literally look at them they mean so much to me. Stan and Kyle are such a fun dynamic and there's so much that can be done with them. they're best friends and they love each other more than anything but they're also codependent and could be the other's downfall. They hate each other. They need each other. I want to shake them.

brotp- not to get literal but I love his dynamic with his brother so much. Kyle just being an annoying older brother with eldest-sister-aka-the-third-parent-complex who is desperate to be a positive figure in Ike's life and Ike wanting Kyle to fuck off so he can watch Pewdiepie (but he loves Kyle dearly). Iconic.

notp- Mghhhh I'm not gonna go on about how I hate ky///man here as I've done so plenty before but I don't like it as a bothsided thing except in rare cases, typically only if it's used as a plot device that isn't intended to be endgame. It makes me genuinely uncomfortable- On the other hand, a lot of my closest friends ship it so I can tolerate it. But yah, not my thing and not something that makes much sense to me except in very specific cases.

first headcanon that pops into my head- Freckles bc someone commented that he doesn't have them on an animation I made the other day and it pissed me off lol

one way in which I relate to this character- Hghhhhhh hahahahah oh boy. Ummm Repression and anger as a defense mechanism. Can't keep my mouth shut. Too judgmental (trying not to be,,), and plenty more. he's so fucking relatable I hate him

something that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character- His tiktoks (though I also adore them) and how badly he'll try to fit in in the most awkward ways possible. It's more loveable than embarrassing though.

cinnamon roll or problematic fave? Cinnamon roll. He has some issues and can be shitty but I think he's overall a good person who tries his best and I think that shines way above any missteps he's made, especially considering he's rarely malicious and usually his worst actions were taken out of hurt and in an attempt to make things better for everyone.

Noah's nose always being pink is so fucking cute, like I swear there's so many pics of Noah having a rosey lil nose it's adorable.

They definitely are like "fuck these rules" bc they're bullshit and they're fuckin gay, but Noah is all shy n shit. Noah really wanted to get Nick's attention so he would find rare flowers and put them at the castles doorstep or in Nick's bedroom window.

When Nick finds the flowers he knows who they're from because no other fairy has been this interested in him. And what other being knows this much about flowers other than fairies? He def secretly thinks it's cute so he tries his best to keep all the flowers Noah gives him. People question him but he's just like, "secret admirer I guess" and shrugs.

When Nick notices how pink Noah gets around him he starts to get more interested in him bc he thinks its cute. Since Noah's a fairy he has an aura around him, he's basically like a fuckin mood ring, and he's always a shade of pink around Nick.

The only reason Nick found Noah's lil spots when he's feeding deer or taking baths or something is bc Noah sings all the damn time!!! Nick thinks it's the most beautiful sound he's ever heard and he's surprised this fairy isn't a siren instead.

When they eventually confess to each other they have to sneak around, Nick tries his best to visit Noah as much as possible. Since he's a prince they don't like how he's sneaking around so much, but he makes excuses and they somehow believe him.

They love every detail about each other and they always point out new ones they find. These mfs giggle so much when they're around each other, like they're literally giggling and kicking their feet just by being together.

Hopeless romantic in the sense that when he falls in love he falls hard and he hates it-

Often short circuits around the person he loves/has a crush on. He babbles, stumbles, and stutters over his words when talking to his crush/person he loves. Especially, after a praise or lovable comment was made.

He would try to deny his feelings a lot (sometimes even doing it out loud or to his crush's face) not just about who he liked but denied the fact he was fruity in general. But he knows it's very apparent that he's lying and everyone can tell he's helplessly in love-

The youngest paused. He was getting worn out, but he still wanted to play for a little while longer. "M---mahaybe aha fehew mohore?"

Both older brothers melted. The youngest always did that when he was a giggly mess.

Peter 2 took the lead and leaned forward. "To help the freckles stay, we need to give them some extra love."

The blush on One's face darkened into a deep red color. "O--oho?"

"Some gentle nuzzles should do the trick," Two replied before gently nuzzling the youngest's side.

Peter 1 squeaked before loud laughter began pouring out of him.

"Great idea angel Two," Three added before bending down to One's other side.

One threw his head back and belly laughed as his sides as well as his stomach were attacked by his brothers' ticklish nuzzles. They tickled like crazy, but were still so much fun.

However, the youngest was getting wore out pretty quickly and needed to stop soon. After a few more moments, he gently pushed on his brothers' heads. "OKAHAY! OKAY!"

Both Peter 2 and 3 lifted their heads and let the youngest collapse into a giggly puddle.

Three grinned. "Who knew giving freckles was so much fun."

Two smirked and tapped his chin. "Hmm . . . or was it the birth marks that come from angels."

One limply held up a finger. "Shuhush."

Peter 2 and 3 just grinned before playfully cuddling up on either side of their younger brother. One looked between both of his brothers and smiled. "Ihi lohove yohou guhuys."

Three wrapped his arms around the youngest. "And we angels love you too."

Two copied Three's movements. "Don't ever forget that."
