“Ouch! It hurt you asshole!” Evan turned around and saw that the person screaming was Barty. And fuck his cat not only escaped from his box, he had just attacked his fucking supervisor. 

“Don’t talk to Christ like that,” Evan tried to joke about in a nervous tone. He picked his cat up and returned him to his improvised bed. 

“You named your fucking cat Christ!?” Barty questioned with a laugh. Evan stopped to actually look at him and saw that he didn’t seem that bothered over Christ scratching him.

“Jesus just felt too overused,” He joked and felt a loud sigh escape him as Barty once again laughed at his comment. 

“Well, Christ over here attacked me.”

“If you weren’t trying to play with his tail maybe he would’ve been nicer.”

“You know we aren’t supposed to have pets here, Evan.” Barty gave him an apologetic look. Evan had worked enough with him to know that he wanted to let it go, but he was hesitant. Barty needed this job as much as Evan and if his boss caught them Barty would get reprimanded. 

“I know, I know… He just is never alone and my sister was going to be gone the whole day, and I’m sorry he attacked you but he’s usually really nice-”

Barty’s eyes softened and he smiled gently at Evan as he patted his shoulder, “Okay… I’ll keep my mouth shut yeah?”

Evan relaxed. “Thank you, boss.”

“Ugh, you know I hate it when you call me that,” Barty chuckled. “Go deliver the rest of the packages.”

Evan did as instructed and went about his day. When he returned to the warehouse he saw Barty kneeling in front of Christ’s box and feeding him from his hand. He could hear Barty’s baby voice saying unintelligible sweet things to his cat. Barty was, well, something truly special.

Evan got closer and kneeled next to Barty, “Come on, dinner’s on Christ and me.”

“You still owe me one, Evan,” Barty replied with a grin. 

“I know.”

one of my favorite things about the deathly hallows book is the revelation that snape and petunia knew each other. like if you asked someone in 1997, “hey which two characters from harry potter have longstanding childhood beef with each other”. I’m not sure anyone would’ve answered “harry’s bitchy muggle aunt and the mean potions teacher”. but it also makes total sense. like they are the two biggest haters.

Ok so first off, yes, one is favored more than the other, but let it be a reminder that this does not mean ford was treated any better. if y'know fillbrick you know that guy is just using ford for cash money.

Anyway, if you know the stan twins then y'know that those two scenarios I just pull up is 100% false.

If y'know ford than y'know he holds grudges to the people who had wronged him. He still thinks about his childhood bully even tho it has been years ago, he hasn't forgiven stan even tho it has been years ago. He is very stubborn about it.

If y'know stan than y'know he has a soft spot for the people he considered close to him, even tho they have wronged him. He still gives light to his father even tho his father wouldn't even give a speck of affection to him.

In conclusion they both have daddy issues.

I think that deep down Mobius couldn’t prune the two kids because he subconsciously knew— he felt like it would be like pruning his own children. He was a father and will always have that instinct, no matter how many times he was brainwashed.
