tendo ; unapologetic in what he does. even if its a little weird, or a little off putting, you cant get enough of it. he never makes himself smaller, or quieter for anyone. he doesnt care if people are staring, or judging, he’s living his best life, which is more than most people can say for themself.

ushijima ; being gentle. he’s scary, and strong, and could probably kill you instantly, but he also listens to classical music, and has a green thumb. he brings extra snacks for his underclassman, and waits for people to tie their shoes. its the bare minimum, being polite, but for a man who is as renowned and as important as he is, being as down to earth as he is is enamouring in a way you cant describe.

semi ; breaking the dress code. shiratorizawa is a prestigious private school, one of the best in all of japan. to be a student of theirs, to be able to wear their uniform is a privilege, and while semi doesnt disagree, he also doesnt follow the dress code to a T. he always has two buttons undone, and never wears his tie. his black loafers are just his boot s that he’s never shined a day in his life. he still wears his cuffs, his bracelet, that necklace he always wears. it shows a little bit of his personality, even with the rigidity of a school uniform.

goshiki ; always giving 110%. never half-asses things, even if he complains the whole time. 110% is his base level of energy, and if he’s really into something, like volleyball or impressing his upperclassman, its something more like 150-200%. . he throws his whole heart into everything, even if he trips a few times along the way.

shirabu ; same as goshiki, but not in a ‘i want to impress everyone!’ way  but more in a ‘i deserve nothing less. shirabu knows his worth. he always tries his best, nothing more, nothing less, because he would much rather suffer now when he has the flexibility of being young, than suffer later when the consequences are more dire. he doesn’t accept shortcuts, not because he’s uptight, but because he wants to know he earned it.

reon ; notices the little things. reon is the type to remember what snacks you like, or which color pens you use. he’s observant in a quiet, dependable way. not to manipulate, but to support. he’s always watching the room to see where he’s needed. when the team is tense, he compliments plays others would overlook, praises the small, steady improvements no one else saw.

yamagata ; being unaturally calm. in all the years youve known him, you have never once seen him yell or lose his cool. theres something incredibly attractive about how grounded he is, especially for the standards shiratorizawa is held to. he doensnt need to be flashy or dramatic to handle things, he just does.

kawanishi ; his indifference. kawanishi doesn’t care about flair, or theatrics, or praise. he does what he’s supposed to do, and then he sits down. he’s not emotionless, just quiet about it, like he knows his worth and doesn’t need external validation. its not that he’s nonchalant, and doesnt care at all, he just knows what matters to him, and doesnt let anything change that.

Sam's hands are still rough even after being turned (for my sanity stuff like that stays the same)

Sam has dozens of scars across his whole body from when he was human. Some of them are small, others are big, most of them were accidents

Sam doesn't collect cars personally, but he does enjoy classic cars. He and Vincent regularly have long conversations about Vincent's collection and just classics in general

Sam collects music of every kind. He has records, cassettes, dvds, he and Darlin have Playlists on music streaming services (only use them sometimes, like when they don't have the physical version of what they're listening to on hand)

Sam has a few old Polaroids from when he was human. He doesnt look at them often, but when he's really missing his grandma, or just needs a moment to himself, he will go to the roof and sit with her. Sometimes he talks, sometimes he cries, sometimes he just puts on a song she used to listen to and watches the forest

Sam lives for the quiet moments with Darlin. When they're asleep on his chest, when he's resting on their lap, when they're cooking dinner together, when Darlin is out in the garden working and he can sit on the porch enjoying the warm day in the shade (the man loves a good warm day he's going outside sun be damned) (he stays in the shade)(though he has run out in the sun kissed darlin and run back before just to see the shock on their face)

Sam has so many pictures of Darlin. He loves taking pictures of them and the pack. His favorites are the ones he has of Darlin, David, Asher, and Angel wrestling together (Darlin and David are shifted)

He also has one in particular that he and Angel both hold very dear. It's of David and Darlin during one of the pack vacations. The two of them are hanging off of each other, grinning and laughing. It's the most genuine smiles anyone's ever gotten a picture of from the two of them

Sam and Milo have a bet going on which pack member ( including mates+vincent and lovely) can get Darlin' the most riled up (David's at the top of the leaderboard which means Milo is winning)

Sam spent a solid 3 days leveling up in smash because he was sore about the first tournament (he wasn't actually sore he just genuinely wanted to play smash more and that was his excuse he came up with)

Sam keeps his grandma's wedding ring on a chain around his neck and will mess with it when he's thinking

Sam had about shoulder-length auburn hair (in a wolfcut style) that he wears in a half up/half down bun (it's hot)

Sam learned how to cook Darlins favorite meals so that when they have bad days they can come home to more than one familiar scent. He's also started leaving one of his long sleeve flannels by the front door for them (they say they hate flannel but still happily steal Sam's)

Sam is close with a few of the pack teenagers. Especially one of them who's practically Darlins younger sibling. They bonded over a love of music, and Sam's helping them learn to drive since he understands how terrifying cars can be

The Sano household was anything but quiet on this sunny morning.

The smell of freshly cooked eggs and toast filled the air as you hurriedly set the table, trying to dodge the occasional flying object—usually something small that Mikey and Izana had tossed at each other in their ongoing spat.

"Shin, tell Mikey to stop being a brat!" Izana growled, his eyes narrowing as Mikey smirked across the table, arms crossed proudly.

"Mikey, stop riling him up!" Shinichiro pleaded, stepping between them and waving his arms in a desperate attempt to keep the peace.

"We’re supposed to be having a nice breakfast!"

"Tell him to quit being so sensitive!" Mikey shot back, sticking out his tongue.

"Both of you, knock it off!" Shinichiro’s voice had that exasperated tone you knew all too well. He looked at you for backup, but you were too busy trying to keep the plates from tipping over in the chaos.

Meanwhile, Emma was at the stove, completely unfazed by the ruckus.

"You guys better sit down and eat before the food gets cold," she called over her shoulder.

You finished setting the table, carefully placing Grandpa Sano’s favorite tea cup in front of him. The old man sat at the head of the table, newspaper in hand, seemingly oblivious to the turmoil unfolding around him. He hummed contentedly as he read, occasionally sipping his tea.

As you took your seat, Mikey and Izana finally settled down—more due to the smell of Emma’s cooking than Shinichiro’s pleas. Mikey grabbed a pancake from the stack before it even hit the table, while Izana rolled his eyes but followed suit.

"Calm down, there’s plenty for everyone," Emma said, placing the platter in the center of the table. She then took her seat next to you, reaching over to serve herself some eggs.

Shinichiro sighed in relief, finally sitting down as well. "Can we please just have one peaceful meal?"

"Maybe next time, Shin," you teased, nudging him with a grin.

Grandpa Sano lowered his newspaper, peering over the top with a twinkle in his eye. "Ah, nothing like a good, lively breakfast to start the day," he said, completely unbothered by the earlier commotion.

Despite the chaos, the room was filled with laughter, chatter, and the clinking of utensils as everyone finally started eating. It might have been a mess, but it was your family’s mess, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

HABIT HEADCANONS :D

hiii bark bark anon!! you didnt specify if you wanted serious headcanons or silly ones, so im just gonna toss in a mix of both 🐇 (some of these are kinda stupid, but whatever)

- if you take a look at his villains wiki page, you see that HABIT has a couple ACTUAL real murderers and whatnot listed as aliases. im assuming these aspects of his character were just kinda tossed in by the guys to make him more hated (which, might i add, kinda backfired HAHA) since they arent important to his character nor do they even add anything to the series... and personally, i dont dig the idea of taking real cases and going "ohh, this silly fictional character dude WAS those guys!" SOOO i like to think HABIT just kinda lied about being them. he used it as a scare tactic, for shock value, to seem worse than he actually is, and just for bragging purposes.

- he favored the 1900s. theres a lot of small details that hint to this being canon (recently went over a few in a previous post of mine) but obviously i cant just go and call it canon as much as id like to. CANONICALLY speaking though, his use of certain slang was popular back then, same with some of his music taste and style choices. the dudes been around for a LOOONG time, and EverymanHYBRID makes sure to point out quite a bit of his activity from around then for lore purposes. i <3 that old man

- Nightmare Of You enjoyer. based off of his canon known music taste, i believe he might like them. definitely not all their songs but some of them. this isnt any music he would play while torturing someone like he did with Rob Zombie, but something he would listen to while like... reading. or something like that. idk. maybe he would use it to taunt people like he did with a few Frank Sinatra songs. (i might be biased though simply because i like this band a lot and associate him with one of their songs)

- HABIT has a sweet tooth, but is also picky when it comes to sweet things. in "The day the world ended" he is seen digging through a jar full of candy and gets excited when he finds reeses, he tosses almond joys and mini choco stroopwafels (what the hell are those? HELP.) to the side and goes "WHAT IS THAT. WHAT IS THAT?" as if hes offended by them. he also baked maple bacon cookies once, so it makes me think he just isnt fan of things that are OVERBEARINGLY sweet? reeses and maple bacon cookies arent extremely sweet.

i also think he probably just doesnt indulge in sweets that often, so when hes finally able to get his hands on some hes like FUCK YES!!!!! (hence why he refused to share any of the reeses with Vinny. greedy as hell 🙄)

- HABIT watches horror movies just to critique them and make comments like "I COULDVE DONE THAT SO MUCH BETTER." "I WOULDVE USED A DIFFERENT TACTIC." "THAT CHOICE OF WEAPON IS SO BASIC AND BORING."

i also believe he prefers classic, older horror films over newer ones. i mean, who doesnt?

- Postal player, HABIT canonically likes video games but i dont recall him ever mentioning any specific ones? (feel free to correct me if im wrong there) im mainly talking about Postal 2 2003 and maybe Postal 1997 to be more specific. i dont see him as someone who plays video games often though, it would be more of a last resort bored out of his mind kind of thing.

STUPID MODERN AU HEADCANONS ALERT

-they all have one hideout they stay at after too many of their apartments kept getting raided. its…its chaotic sometimes.

-bill snores so fucking loud and sleeps on the sofas. he DOES have a bed, he just ‘rests’ his eyes during whatever he’s watching, spreads out and snores like hell. its the most infuriating thing, and arthur does not hold back when beating him with a pillow.

-however if it was lenny or one of the girls who’d fallen asleep on the sofa, lets just say hes sneaking back into the house after late night adventures, and he finds them, arthur would absolutely cover them with a blanket or even carry them to bed depending on how tired he was.

-the men of the gang have differing opinions on drugs, strippers, etc. some will absolutely spend their money on that, others will never even consider it. you gotta remember, this is a gang and theyre criminals.

-movie nights are very random as theyre all constantly in and out, doing this and that, but it is nice when a group of them can settle down and watch something. but you know theyre getting interrupted constantly, because lenny thinks that doesnt make sense and johns hungry and sean thinks theyre hot and tilly cant decide if she wants some of the blanket or not and micah’s just walked in and decided the whole ordeal is very gay etc etc

-STREET RACING. sean, lenny, arthur, john, javier, karen, sadie, even abigail all love it, and it miiiight just be one of hosea’s guilty pleasures.

-leopold strauss does not like dutch’s music. imagine, theyre coming back from a job and he rides with dutch and hosea, who plays ‘old classics’ because dutch thinks thats what theyre into. cut to strauss staring longingly out of the window, watching arthurs car with the roof down and pitbull up. he is a very unhappy old man in that moment. he does NOT WANT to listen to big iron, HE WANTS TIMBER!!

-booktok is lenny’s biggest opp. he likes the classics and to wander around bookshops (sean trailing behind him and picking up random books on weeds and fitness to offer him because he doesnt actually know what theyre about) looking for his own books to read and get his own opinion on.

-sean can read, but does struggle with dyslexia and still dislikes books for this reason. he doesnt mind being read too, but feels overwhelmed and gets upset with himself when actually attempting to read.

-mary-beth loves to watch tv in her room only to fall asleep with it on, causing susan to poke her head around the door and yell at her to turn it off at like 3am. but trust me, the girls seen everything. every dating show, reality show, drama, documentary, she has seen it! she also has teddys/stuffed animals!!

-john never grew out of enjoying sleepovers, but thankfully neither did javier. they’d always get drunk and high together, do dumb shit, snuggle only to deny they did in the morning, and get yelled at to shut up. of course, john’d eventually get to have a sleepover every night with abigail, but he feels like its just not the same…

-charles WILL go to sleep in your car and you cant stop him. arthur finds it cute tho.

-the cupboards do not have snacks because everyone is too possessive over what they want and just keep it in their rooms.

-a lot of the time only a few people are having stew, since the rest are off getting fast food or just not eating.

-sean misses ireland so much, homesickness is a big problem for him (to the point he may actually be sick from upsetting himself so much) and he wishes him and his da never had to leave donegal. though obviously he struggles with booking flights and decides to just not do it instead of asking for help. for a perfect birthday present, lenny booked a trip for them!!

-seans da is not dead!! though he lives quite far from where the gang are staying (different state, not back in ireland) and sean misses him more than he likes to admit. the little irishboy loves to sit in his da’s house with a cup of tea, stealing all the biscuits and yapping on. he used to like to bring lenny too, when they were closer (in distance, not relationship)and his da decided he liked lenny more than sean, joking ofc.

HOGWARTS UNI DR: MATTHEO RIDDLE

dynamic: enemies to lovers (ofc) / brother’s best friend

honestly, the only reason i’m shifting for mattheo in particular is because i like his archetype, and from what i’ve seen about him, he intrigues me. i feel the same way in my dr, though the subtle fascination is paired with a rampant irritation i feel every time i look at him. we keep the insults to a minimum since my brother blaise is close with him, but in the rare moments we’re alone, we don’t hold back. there’s a deeper level of respect that prevents us from going too far, but ultimately, it’s the typical enemies-to-lovers pipeline. i’m excited for this one because it also has an academic rivals aspect to it.

FAME DR: SABRINA CARPENTER

dynamic: friends to lovers / friends with benefits / secret dating

ah, sabrina…the loml here and in my dr! i adore her and this was just a sudden realization i had when i was listening to her music. in this dr, me and her were both on disney channel around the same time, so we knew of each other’s existence. however, we don’t really become friends until 2023 (the year i’m shifting to). then, yk, its the classic “will they, won’t they” situation until we start dating. no angst here (hopefully). sigh, i love her.

•curly puts of parody of christmas carols, at first ur thinking “oh wow hes gonna sing such a classic song thats nice” and he fixes his lips to say the worst lyrics u will hear its mortifying, god forbid its modern time and u give him the speakers hes making everyone in the neighborhood listen

•it doesnt snow much in tulsa if ever but look curlys never seen snow for YEARS of his life, if its snowing outside he doesnt care how cold it is, he wants to go outside to mess around in it a lil bit, hes gotten a lil sick from it the day after cause he wasnt wearing his jacket which is rare but aye he had a lil bit of fun!! thats gonna wear off eventually tho, snow WILL lose its novelty

•most of his time is spent watching tv christmas specials, hes used to not rlly getting anything on christmas and theres nothing to do outside and the house is comfortable enough, ik his ass imprinted on that couch

random badeni hcs because i cannot form a normal thought abt this show (this was supposed to include several characters but i got carried away with badeni) (english isnt my first language so pls pardon some faulty grammar) (also pls excuse the messy writing, these are just stuff ive jotted down)

Badeni:

• probably hyperlexic and learned to read at an early age

• used to be ramble a lot when he was younger. he liked to monolouge about random things he found interesting. his ramblings were about things that kids his age didnt care about (which consequently led to some struggles with his social life early on). he mostly yapped about poems/stories he read, but he also talked about the symbolism of a flower he picked, or the name of a random rock that looked cool

• used to be sweet kid :( he smiled alot and was joyful back then

• didnt like that certain things were the way they were, and there was no further explanation to it. why did you have to follow a certain unreasonable rule at school? why was it rude to interrupt someone while talking? he constantly questioned and asked why, which led to many people disliking him. he eventually learned to question internally instead of expressing them out loud.

•gets so fixated while researching/reading and can even continue so several days in a row. The only times he stops is when someone (usually grabowski, and later oczy) checks up on him, and then he realizes that he’s at the verge of passing out

• meaning that he tends to forget his needs and has to be reminded to hydrate, sleep, etc.

• would absolutely lose it over a hug. he’s definitely touched-starved. bonus points if someone plays with his hair :( (not that he would just let anyone do so)

• he opened up to oczy and jolenta over time. he let jolenta braid his hair, and he told oczy about certain academic knowledge he didnt know about (it was his way to show appreciation)

• has a habit to pace around. a complex equation requiring much thought? he paces around. someone spewing illogical, stupid yap? he paces. if he needs some time to unwind? he paces. sometimes, when either oczy or grabowski checks up on him, they see him just walking in circles while tugging his finger around his chin ( like the thinking pose) and he sometimes talks with himself too.

• he would be a bassist in a modern band au; he might appear withdrawn and aloof, but this guy would be willing to take the spotlight anytime (i mean, have you seen some of those bass solos? they slap. literally)

• in a modern au, he’d probably be very conservative about listening to music: his taste would only consist of classical music, refusing to listen to anything else due to classical being “objectively better” because he says so. until oczy came and introduced him to indie, rock, pop, etc. at first he denied the appeal of it, but later he caught himself listening to them out of curiousity and ended up liking it. when confronted about it, he’d just say that it was nothing special while bopping his head to the beat.

• modern au badeni would be so skeptical and frustrated over social media. He doesnt like the nature of it; posting appealing things with little to no further information about it and the blantantly obvious lies and traps people fall for. it was mind-boggling to him. What do you mean that people base their opinions on short form content, when to be able to gauge the reality of certain topics, one would have to research beyond snippets of information? What do you mean that people consciously lie about a product’s effects for the sake of profit? The truth being somewhat obscure wouldnt sit right with him. The only reason he’d ever download such an app would be watch cat videos

• speaking of which, he’d 100% be a cat person. if he sees a random stray cat, he’ll go all pspspspspsp and hug and cuddle with it :) (making sure no one he knows sees him, though). he would own a cat that he would spoil :)

•badeni would wear a type of perfume that smells like a combination of violets and musk (im no expert in perfumery), and it would blend with the scent of books due to him being around them most of the time. but he usually doesnt bother wearing perfume--only on rare occasions where he has to present himself well. in fact, he finds perfumes to obstruct his sense of smell (he does have a strong sense, after all. remember when he called out oczy for reeking of blood?)

• due to his poor eyesight, either grabowski or oczy gave him a description about things that were hard for him to see, such as things from afar, or some small object.

one of my batfam hot takes is that alfred having a very kind and understanding grandfather-like role is a boring spin on the character and lacks a lot of nuance around his backstory.

like he is a classically trained british butler which means he very likely comes from a working class family. and like, as a working class brit myself, i sometimes find the kindly, well-mannered grandfather thing grating because, a lot of white, working class men his age are unfortunately not nice people. some of them are like my great grandad was a really great guy, but hes really the only one i know who is or was not awful.

because their generation werent as exactly raised with ideals about mental health and emotional regulation. a lot of them were traumatised due to ww2 either because they saw it firsthand when they were like 15, they were old enough to remember things like rationing and the blitz, and a lot of them lost their dads in the war.

i dont expect american writers to understand how much ww2 affected britain (modern britain is still so steeped in it, its insane) and that generation specifically, BUT id love to see that explored more with alfred. like depending on where he grew up, he would likely have been separated from his family during the blitz and sent off to the countryside like most of the kids in cities were, (this is how narnia starts) and like, a lot of them were horrifically abused or used as free labour. a lot of them also lost parents and never got to say goodbye to them. many came back to destroyed homes. some kids also remained in the city or their parents requested them back so theyd experience the blitz first hand and would know the sign of air raid siren meant they might die that night.

you can see how a lot of that generation were permanently scarred. and for a few decades now, alfred would have been part of that generation.

plus he was also a secret service officer which is just like more opportunities to be traumatised and more reason for him to not be this gentle old man whos in touch with his emotions.

and like, as a classically trained butler, he would likely be more reserved because you know, thats how he was trained. also british men that age would also likely be very hands off in regards to emotions.

but the biggest reason as to why the gentle, kind grandfather take doesnt really make sense is that he raised bruce wayne.

like bruce has a whole slew of emotional issues and problems, and obviously some of that is going to come from alfred raising him because you know, thats kinda how that works. i know a lot of batfam folks want bruce to be this great dad, so i guess their take on alfred fits that, but canonically, bruce wayne is an emotional mess and not the best father figure at the best of times.

you cannot look at that bruce wayne and tell me alfred did a good job.

listen, this shouldn't even be a hot take. it's just an opinion that differs from the most popular interpretation of Alfred as an endlessly giving grandmotherly old man.

the thing about Alfred is that more than anything you have to recognize that he's an enabler. and I love the man to pieces, but at absolute best he was extremely negligent in Bruce's upbringing, if not actively encouraging the world's worst coping mechanisms.

I hate to give Gotham credit for anything, especially when it comes to Alfred since I hate their Alfred, but the show was bang on in its insistence from day one that Alfred should not have been Bruce's primary guardian. it's painful to watch how often Alfred encourages Bruce to tough it out and suck it up, and it never really stops. in one of the latter seasons (four, I think) he hits Bruce hard enough to give him a black eye during an argument, and this is ultimately written as a situation in which Bruce needs to apologize to Alfred for being a bratty teenager, rather than Alfred owing Bruce an apology for hitting him when he's a grief-stricken teenage boy cracking under stress.

and like, listen, I understand there are Watsonian and Doylist layers to this. Alfred fundamentally can't have been a good enough guardian to stop Bruce from channeling his trauma into fursuit vigilantism, because then there's no story. I get it.

but jesus christ.

I don't think characterizations of Alfred as a stoic caregiver are wrong, but I do think people don't want to think about how he got there. when I see the aged Alfred patching up Bruce's wounds and nagging him to eat, or doing his best to offer advice to the kids who have gotten mixed up in Bruce's crusade, I see a man who realized a long time ago that he dropped the fucking ball and has dedicated his life to doing as much damage control as possible. okay, so, completely failed step one (raise a well-adjusted child). can we at least make sure that this basket case adult man doesn't go completely over the edge? can we make sure he doesn't become a killer? can we encourage him to take off the mask and be Bruce Wayne sometimes? can we keep the children safe?

I do think Alfred loves all of them, for whatever its worth. his care for Bruce is real, that is his son, the Batgirls and Robins are his extended family. he'll cook their uneaten meals and clean the entire, massive house himself and stitch them up every night forever. he would die for them. hell, he'd kill for them. he loves them. but none of that means he raised Bruce right.

that's kind of the thing I like most about the Bats: they all care so, so much. but the way they love is terrible.

the first time you got involved with the judgment day was to help liv who was against rhea, and, of course, as in classic judgment day style, non of them could help rhea without cheating so you had to do something.

the second time you got up against rhea it was way much before wrestlemania and way much before she got the title, you two had a simple match against each other that was won by her, of course, only because dom distracted the referee when you were about to win.

the third time you got involved with the judgment day was when damian and finn were having a feud do to finn’s lost at money in the bank. you weren’t supposed to do anything, you were just there, alimenting the tension. rhea didn’t like it and so she picked up a fight against you, fight that you avoided.

you weren’t a heel, but you weren’t a baby face either. you were just you and people loved you for that. it was almost like that it wasn’t even your wrestling personality because it was too easy for you. you were like a diva, the beyoncé of wrestling, like a primadonna.

you loved having attention and stealing other people lights made you happy. so that’s how you were side ring watching rhea fighting raquel. this time you weren’t going to interfere, you just were there for people to notice you and the moment the fans started chanting your name, rhea got mad.

this was your game and you were very good at it.

the judgment day - of course - were side ring too, making sure that you wouldn’t ruin rhea’s moment. damian got a little too close, like he was rhea’s bodyguard.

“are you scared i’m gonna hurt your princess?” you teased him.

“no, i’m worried she’s gonna hurt you” he said, leaving you speechless.

you and damian never shared more than a few words backstage, never been friends and never hung out with each other so you couldn’t understand why he was acting so protective towards you.

“she’s not a problem” you said looking back at the ring.

“she will be a problem if you keep teasing her, you should stop or you’re gonna get hurt” he said, avoiding the cameras that were pointing at you.

of course people would start speculating if they saw you two too close so you played your game and moved away from him.

“i don’t need a man to be saved, i can save my own ass” you sarcastically smiled, waving your hair back and forth.

you were sure the cameras caught that because they were pointing at you instead of the ring when you decided to leave.

the last time you got involved with the judgment day was when you were having a fight against bianca and when you heard their song starting you knew rhea was going to do the same thing you did at her match. you were currently winning so you didn’t let them distract you, instead you played your part way better. fixing your hair, checking your make up in the camera, smiling towards the crowd as you prepare to finish bianca.

when the bell rang you motioned to leave the ring but rhea jumped in.

“i told you so…” you heard damian whispering behind you. he knew that rhea wouldn’t have hurt you for real, she knew about the crush damian had on you but she couldn’t forget the way you always stole her moment.

yes she was “mami”, probably the most feared woman in the whole roaster but you were a fucking diva and you wouldn’t let someone who only wore black steal your moment.

you two stood in the ring facing each other. rhea had a devious smirk on her face, you, on the other hand, had the most “i couldn’t care less” expression that pissed rhea off more than before.

before she started a fight with you, damian shouted something at her that made her stop and leave the ring.

“this ain’t over” she screamed before going backstage.

“of course it’s not, next time we face each other i’m gonna get that title back home” you said, smirking at her.

you just fucked yourself and you knew it. damian had a very disappointed look on his face, more disappointed when rhea accepted the match.

I love this!!! Annabeth is so great so I totally get the love and dedication to her within this, I actually had a little bit of a crush on her when I first read through the books as a tween. Its honestly nice to hear after constantly being surrounded by the oversaturated pop and rock of the idol scene; not that he doesn't like it, just that hearing classical pieces, namely from you, is quite refreshing

Nagi will play piano while you play any string instrument of your choice. After all, they're a lovely and timeless arrangement. The connection between the two of you shine the most when you're having a conversation through music, interweaving your souls through the notes and unifying through each melody

It actually reminded him of his times with Haruki, his feelings toward him and you were different of course, but the same in the way that hearing you play made him forget his troubles, and reminded him why he loved music to begin with

In those moments, he feel a song will seep through his body and through his fingertips deftly gliding across the piano keys forever

Its like time doesnt pass at all when he's listening to you play, whether together or by yourself

Whether you're newbie, intermediate, or practically a professional, that doesn't make him adore your playing any more or less (though, it is satisfying and pleasant when he can tell your skill has improved)

He'll try (and fail) not to brag about you to his friends if you don't like attention being brought to you

Hopefully you don't mind small crowds, since Nagi would love to play a duet with you in front of the rest of his group members

Will send you messages about how he 'needs' to listen to your music as a pick me up after a crappy or exhausting shift (if you aren't far from the dorm he'll literally stop by your house-)

realized i hadn't fully dissected (not literally) gabriel's character, so i present some outfit ideas/concepts & miscellaneous information below, the information being below a cut because i am unsure of how long it may be:

this is also the first time i feel OK with a color palette for him.

to put it simply, i don't think he likes a lot of things. he has a couple interests, and thats it. he doesnt like the sun, or dirt, or any weather really, and if he had to pick its either rain or thunderstorms solely because of sound. he doesn't like getting wet, he doesnt like people touching him, he doesnt like anything sticking to him. i was going to draw him in a beach outfit before i came to the realization he would hate the beach. most of it, anyway. if he went he would wear water shoes and a full body bathing suit and go out deep into the current alone although he knows he shouldn't go that far and probably almost drowns once because of his stupidity. he doesnt really like socializing and will actively be a bystander. he doesnt like cars or being a pedestrian or riding a bike because in every instance he believes, knows, almost, he will be run over. he doesnt go a lot of places because of this crippling paranoia of everything and everyone. he likes gardening but only when he knows he is alone. he likes vegetables and fruits and oatmeal and granola. he vomits from eating ramen. his stomach cannot handle odd contraptions and will actively drink alcohol although he has low tolerance and hates it because of the Love of the Game, the Game being Socializing. i know, weird, because i just said he has crippling paranoia of everyone. he also doesnt like a lot of people, but here he is, talking. this is where my joke "baphomet gets a call at 2am" doodles come from because when gabriel is shitfaced he knows one number, & its baphomets number, subconsciously. unfortunately. hes blocked his mother & his father (good thing). when hes upset he'll type up the number, every time, never saved in his phone because his sober self absolutely despises baphomet. baphomet probably has a flip phone which number is actually blocked, but rotaries are confusing. we know this. however, when drunk, he will call & talk & ask for advice from this stranger he thinks is familiar but isnt sure but the voice sounds similar and annoying. he has debates about classic literature. he likes nietzsche & kafka & the other guy we dont really need to get into (can be about any guy) & when upset watches what other people enjoy like sailor moon although he doesnt like it with a perplexed look on his face, thinking, "hmmm... this is what normal people watch... i see." and never watches it again. he doesnt really watch anything. he listens to... nothing really. his ambience is neighbors yelling and its his favorite song.

the bystander thing is more 50/50 depending on if he feels humanity is plummeting that day. if its awful and everyone looks angry at him he will not intervene but if someone said they liked his scarf he'll go "fine OK ill bite" & help a lost kid find their mom or something. hes very unsure of himself and everything. i dont even fully know what hes like and hes technically my character. tis the beauty of uncertainty

adding more to this to say, however, i don't think he's insufferable. annoying a bit, yeah, but i never said any of my characters are truly not insufferable to be around after a certain amount of time. he likes discussing soil temperature or needed components in electrical systems. he knows a lot, & hes smart, he just is very much suicidal & has flaws like any human being. although its true he doesnt like talking to people hes never outwardly rude to most. he is very protective of those who are vulnerable & especially children, he just has a weird way of showing it i.e not knowing how to
