Pomni- General internet goer and one of those Youtubers that made "day in the life" type vlogs showcasing how much fucking pressure she's under, has a pretty loyal and caring audience for her despite herself, ~100,000 subscribers or so and she *tries* to respond to every comment.

Caine- Not so much an Influencer persay but more so of creator of the popular social media apps and tries to be #hipwiththekids...it does not work very well he's posting Pokémon Go and Harlem shake memes in 2024..bless his heart

Bubble- Caine's social media manager! He's a little better with being hip with the kids, up to date with memes n stuff but he also gets attention in...less than convential ways. Think of what was happening with the Norm of the North Twitter account, just weird..weird shit.

Sun & Moon- They act as a duo of sorts on Tik Tok and they make skits and #unhinged humor that is probably liked by majority of everybody. Nobody can tell if they're dating or just friends, since Sun will say the most unhinged shit and Moon will just sigh dreamily at it while reciting a poem or shit. Moon has to stop Sun from responding to hate comments and going off on them and finding their address n shit.

Gloink Queen & Gloinks: The Gloink Queen is one of those Facebook moms who takes pictures of their children(her Gloinks) every time they do anything, even when they're crying, because she thinks it's "cute". She gets fairly popular at first and even gets to sell merchandise however as her audience grows, so does her criticism but Facebook doesn't do anything about it and she continues to exploit her children for views and attention.

Princess Loolilalu- Tiktok influencer that shows the daily life of a royal. She's fairly unpopular but she was the hot topic for a week because people thought she was flexing and she had to explain she wasn't trying to, she was just trying to show the daily life since some people in her kingdom had inquired about it. She gets very low engagement but she admires every comment she gets. She starts to shift towards more crafty stuff after honestly getting a bit bored filming every second of her life and that grows her audience a little bit.

Gummigoo - Tiktok Influencer that make illegal life hack videos and him just working on a farm(I assume he does cuz he gives off cowboy vibes) and he's unintentionally thirst trapping through those videos, which gives him a pretty large, dedicated and possibly a little too obsessed, audience.

Zooble- Youtuber that talks about the most depraved shit that people do in humanity, think like iceberg videos about shitty people online or the dark corners of Reddit and 4chan. Also probably has a second channel where they play *nothing* but Plants vs. Zombies 2 because idk it's funny and they need to do something else to not get entirely depressed

Kinger- He is a Youtuber, techinally, though he doesn't know how to operate a camera very well. Most of his videos are just snippets from his life, cooking some food, badly singing his favorite songs, and sharing a little too much of his life online. Still, he's regarded as Youtube's grandpa.

Kaufmo- A YouTube "prankster" that would do the worst fucking things imaginable(not illegal but..close to it) and one day he did..something..and he got killed for it as a result, it was all caught on camera. He was criticized a lot for doing what shit he was doing and when he died, it was covered but nobody was suprised.

Ragatha- If Kinger is the grandpa of YouTube, then Ragatha is the grandma because she posts a lot of crochet and stitching how tos while also sprinkling in her personality and some of her other interests, like making a crochet Undertale plushie or something.

Gangle- She's a very famous twitch streamer who is...I don't even know really how to describe it but she's very like "uwu" abt everything as her streamer personality yknow? And..I mean..it works, she gets enough donations in a 1 hour stream to pay her rent for 2 months so..as for her content, it depends, sometimes it's horror games and other times it's just chilling with chat.

Jax- Jax is...also...a streamer. He does snuff streams where he gets donations to torture people and stuff. It's illegal but he makes as much money, if not more, than Gangle.

What kind of TikTok does matsu do??

Osomatsu is on pranktok all day. It's his favorite stuff to watch, and even attempt when he thinks of something good. He also happens to enjoy some of the thirst trap tiktoks that float across the fyp when they do, but he likes strictly watching those. The one time he did attempt a thirst trap, his video was taken down lol

Karamatsu is on cooktok! A lot of the recipes he knows off the top of his head are things people seem to enjoy according to what he sees on his feed, so he gives it a shot. His videos aren't spectacular by any means, but they're simple and easy to follow. He doesn't get a ton of comments, but every once in a while he'll get a single mom thanking him for making an easy meal or like someone's grandma telling him he looks so handsome. He watches a lot of cooking videos himself and even some home improvement. Definitely has a lot of singing videos in his likes as well!

Choromatsu is all about the anime edits baby. He tried his hand at K-pop edits to start but was tired of the fan squabble in the comments so he switched it up. There's a ton of anime that he enjoys, so making content is easy for him. He personally also enjoys the thirst trap tiktoks that wander across his feed, but he's a lot less loud about it in comparison to Osomatsu. You may also find a bunch of TikTok hack videos in his likes. Ichimatsu is on CatTok c'mon now! Anything and everything cats! He actually gains quite a following as he films himself visiting the strays in Akatsuka. With some guidance he learns how to keep himself safe from people recognizing him. In his likes you will find plenty of arts and craft videos, DIY's and even some ASMR!

Jyushimatsu is on HorrorTok/LiminalSpaces lol. Somehow him just existing with a phone in his hand and recording in a nighttime setting is enough to terrify a good number of people. He gives no context for his videos and he ends up in the strangest places that give little to no explanation of what's going on. Sometimes inexplicable objects or non-human things can be seen in his videos, but never for more than a second or two - and it leaves his followers stumped and afraid every time. He has no likes.

Todomatsu loves doing viral dances. He's not great at every single one, and some have gotten him some negative attention (people like to tell him that he looks constipated, when it's really just his frustrated face showing through), but he gives it his best shot and posts them anyway. He prefers to watch a lot of aesthetically pleasing videos: cozy gaming, certain kinds of ASMR, people painting or cooking, stuff that lets him just chill. Definitely hits up some of the big names on TikTok asking for a follow back, but they never answer lol.

Further lore, HCs & ideas about the band + more fun info about their socials that I posted earlier

I like to imagine that they like to sing about their everyday life with Finnish folklore and myths woven into their songs. They're proud of that heritage and love to integrate it whenever possible and fitting. They all have a set of personalized outfits onstage (all wearing sleeveless jackets) and depending on the album/themes, they switch it up with colors and accessories.

Handle & description: I went for the most basic handle :P The description is something Ilmo came up with, especially the heavy use of emojis 😎

Socials: They mainly follow family, friends, partners and brands/venues they collabed with. There's of course album promo's, photoshoots, shots and vids of their concerts on there (and the occasional fanservice) Ilmo and Ilmari are the most active members on their band account but for some more serious stuff, they often let the others handle it.

Ilmo is the lead singer <3 he wears some piercings and is inseparable from his trucker caps that are customized for each new album. He is funny, charming and can quickly sway a crowd

Handle & description: I thought it'd be a fun play on the word/spelling Coffee with two K's signaling the initials of the band. Ilmo is an emoji man. That slogan is ofc a nod to what he says in the profiling scenes in canon

Socials: He often follows people back, follows lots of brands, other musicians and artists. You can find almost anything on his profile, band BTS, gigs, silly vids, photoshoots, slice of life pics. He likes to use emojis a lot when texting and commenting. He broadcasts a lot of his life and often does live streams, especially while touring.

Jaakko is the drummer of the band. Just because he's always in the back, doesn't mean he doesn't share the energy of his band mates. Quite the contrary, he's the literal heartbeat of the Kalevala Knights.

Handle & description: I like puns and homophones. It just fits that beer and beard are 2 significant Jaakko traits. And like his canon counterpart, he's a proud dad 😎🙌 He's not a man of many words

Socials: He is a more reserved person and doesn't post often. On his socials you will find pics of nature, his bike, beer and the somewhat mandatory band stuff. Similar to how I'd HC normal jaakko's socials, I think he'd also like to post about his children but as a celeb, he'd try to keep the kids out of that life as much as possible

Ilmari is the lead guitarist of the band. He's extraverted, likes the attention and has a similar charisma like Ilmo but with more edge

Handle & description: Ilmari seemed to be the kinda guy to use a different font (It's the official KK font btw 😏) & use an edgy, cool name like that

Socials: He kinda has an ego so expect a lot of selfies and thirst traps from him. Professional photoshoots & casual stuff all mixed together and you get some insight into his bombastic life. He captions stuff with innuendos and enjoys using the smug emojis.

Jaakoppi is a multi talented musican but usally occupies the role of bassist. However, for some songs, he'll play the violin or cello. (I think most of them might play more than 1 instrument)

Handle & description: He's a no nonesense guy and pretty straight to the point with that. The 70 in his handle refers to his birth year 😳

Socials: Similar to Jaakko, he doesn't post that much. He likes to take pics of his food, travels with his bandmates and friends and occasionally posts vids or pics of woodchopping. Initially, he's unaware about the fans' thirst lmao which leads to some silly situations. He is probably the one who takes the main group selfies becos he's so lanky compared to the others.

CultCase continues to go strong in this AU. Casey is the president of Ilmo's main fan club and he eventually hooks up with Ilmo. Initially, I thought maybe he's a journalist or something but I haven't fully pinpointed what his profession or his non-romantic relation is to the band. He owns a lot of Kalevala Knights merch: all albums, lots of shirts and tops, multiple signed posters, etc. you know, like a Big Fan

Handle & description: Casey's handle is a play and reference to Ilmo's handle of course. The Nr1 Fan is a little wink to Rose being Alan's Nr 1 fan 😉

Socials: He mainly reposts or posts new Ilmo & KK content. Sometimes he will fan blog and capture his life as a fan and the times he's met the band. He likes to boast by posting very close selfies with the frontman of KK.

Kesä lives in Watery/Huotari and basically grew up with the Koskelas and Huotaris. He's a writer and feels proud of his little town which he enjoys capturing through his lens. Ahti remains a good friend to Kesä and they often go to the sauna and/or enjoy some beers together.

Handle & description: Pretty straightforward. But there have been more than one occasion people thought he was Casey's brother (lmao, ngl the co-existence of these two is so funny) but he is not.

Socials: He doesn't post much and it's mainly an account for friends and family and Ilmari (you won't escape my OTPs in this AU). He mainly posts about Watery and his writing shenanigans. Of course, you'll see some pics of Ahti and Ilmari on his profile too

Do you think jungkook's recent choices will have a negative effect on bts as a group?

I do want to say the whole smoking thing doesn't bother me. At first, I did think the photos were taken without his knowledge, but after seeing the video, you can see he's aware that he's being recorded and doesn't really mind. I'm glad that he feels comfortable enough to show a more adult side of him with seven, the drinking, and the smoking. But at the same time, I see how bts has created this image for themselves over the years, and in a matter of months, jk had dramatically changed it. They all seemed to follow the rules and only did schedule lives at the company, but then JK started doing unapproved lives at home. All the members have really protected their social media presence, and then there's jk with tikok and following a thirst trap account 😅. Now we have the smoking out in public when the other 3 members who do smoke have done it out of sight. So I'm just curious how the other members feel about all of this. I do remember on one live JK did say the members told him not to drink on live anyone, but he didn't listen lol. I'm also on the edge of my seat because who knows what else we'll find out. If JK is going to continue to focus on the American market and with the popularity he has gained with seven, tmz is definitely going to have him on their radar.

I didn't even know there was a video, but after seeing it, it's not clear at all he knew he was being filmed. Even if he was, I don't think he would've been okay with it. Even if he was aware, he likely didn't want to be filmed, smoking or not. But I'm sure Jungkook knew he could be caught smoking outside the hotel, or wherever he was, and that was a choice he made, because I don't think he wants to hide doing normal stuff like smoking.

I don't see how Jungkook smoking or drinking will negatively impact the group. Suga smoked in Haegeum, Jimin shared his hard times during the pandemic in which he got drunk every night, all members have drank on camera - some of them have even gotten wasted. Why is it only a problem when Jungkook does it? Vmin have also done lives at their homes. Are you saying Jungkook is a bad influence and that they wouldn't have done it without him starting the "trend"? And why should Jungkook ask for permission to do a live for his fans? Why does he need to be supervised like a child? Who cares if that's the company policy? Fuck the company. They can debut minors with sexy concepts, but idols can't go live whenever they please?

The members haven't "protected" their social media presence. Most of them don't even like social media, so they aren't very active. V posts sexy pictures all the time, RM wants to post art so he posts art. Jungkook literally deleted his IG, is rarely on Twitter, and pretty much just shares a few selcas and recipes on Weverse, apart from doing lives. He only accidentally shared his TikTok account, and what in the fucking world is wrong with having TikTok? And what thirst trap account is he following? I even looked it up and apparently he started following a bunch of dancers, one of whom has videos of herself twerking. Like, isn't twerking one of those basics moves all female dancers do? From what I saw, she seemed like a normal influencer type.

BTS are proud of Jungkook. Hobi and RM shared the explicit, not the clean, version of Seven and Suga knew the song would be a hit. No one is bothered.

I don't even know who the 3 members who smoke are, but V was seen with a vape way back in 2019 and was caught smoking at the 2021 Grammys, and Suga smoked in Haegeum. Jungkook isn't the first one.

Remember RM posting drunk videos of him singing, or Jikook drunk FaceTiming? BTS have an agreement, which is to not post things on social media when drunk, and it's a good policy, but one they've broken before. Jungkook wasn't the first one to go online drunk. And Jungkook was only tipsy in a few of his lives, not drunk to the point he couldn't watch what he said or did.

We know how the members feel. They're okay with Jungkook - proud of him. I doubt there's any drama. And you "being on the edge of your seat" to see what other "scandal" Jungkook will get caught up in is really fucking weird. Leave him alone. I may be a bit judgmental, but this is just wishing for his downfall. I assure you it won't happen.

Also, Jungkook isn't the only one trying to break away from their conservative group image. Jimin did it with Like Crazy, RM is also subtly pushing the envelope, Suga did it for Haegeum, and V pretty much allowed himself to get caught dating in Paris. Why is JK the only one "stirring up trouble"?

No, JK's actions won't destroy either him or the group. BTS are still the biggest group in the world, and Jungkook is the biggest idol.

random our life social media headcanons

bascially just how i think each of the characters use social media!

cove: probably only signed up for a social media account because of mc. doesn't post that often tbh, and when he does it's either a beach pic or something involving orca. he'd definitely make a post when orca hits some sort of milestone. only ever posts selfies when it's with mc for special occasions like christmas or their anniversary. there would definitely be a random post of just a really pretty picture of mc that he didn't mean to post but kept it there anyway because the picture's just so damn perfect.

derek: didn't make a social media acc until sometime in step 4 because he was always too busy for it before that. i feel like he'd post quite often, be it about what he did that day/week, a new book he read or a film he watched, and some photo dumps here and there. definitely has a decent amount of followers.

baxter: this man's social medias definitely follow a certain aesthetic. edgy poetry quotes, film quotes, dark song lyrics. some black and white photography in between. absolutely zero pictures of himself. his profile pic is probably a landscape photo that he took ages ago. his bio would either be a song lyric or completely blank. (or he probably doesn't have social media at all)

cliff: doesn't really know how to use social media, but enjoys it nonetheless. posts pictures of the beach and sometimes stuff about his shop. in my head he's totally obssessed with national geographic. once he figured out that post notifs were a thing, he decided he most definitely wanted to be notified when nat geo posted. and i feel like maybe he'd post a baby pic of cove, just because he could.

kyra: posts pictures pretty often of just about anything. like coffee or a glass of wine, or some photos of places she visits. is a pretty good photographer and you can tell by her posts that it's something she prides herself upon. definitely posts cove's baby pics when it's his birthday. does a lot of DIY stuff and posts about that too.

pamela: total facebook mom. spends so much of her time scrolling through argument threads in comment sections. picks a side and leaves a like on all of that person's replies. probably gets into a few arguments herself, tbh. only posts family pics. can watch 5 minute crafts videos for hours on end, albeit while angrily talking to her screen about how none of what they're doing makes sense. scrolls with her index finger.

noelani: definitely falls into the most random internet rabbit holes at like 3 am. mostly just shares what her wife posts. gets the most random mix of content on her feed and she lives for every bit of it. unironically uses 😀 and 🙂. watches plenty of kitten and puppy videos

liz: doesn't use social media that often, but when she does, it's to post a quick but somehow meticulously well-written rant about something that may have been bothering her. or to post something family related for a special occasion like a birthday or something

lee: probably an influencer. actively participates in trends, posts selfies often, and maybe a singing video or two. has probably made a thirst trap. she probably also has a fanbase of her own. has a spam account that she posts on about 15 times a day.

What we learned in Supergirl 6x08:

- Once again there is confirmation that Kara and the Superfriends are dead without Lena

- Jor-El was the smart one, Zor-el is the dumbass of the family, and just as useless as he is in the comics.

- Lena and Nia bonding over was super cute.

- The show finally remembered that Kara is supposed to have PTSD because of the Phantom Zone.

What we learned in Supergirl 6x11:

- That at least they had the decency to make a promo for 6x12, i.e. Azie's episode.

- It took Lena a little more than 2 whole episodes to get to that Canada or Ireland or whatever.

And there is only 3 possible explanations:

* Lena actually travelled to another earth

* CatCo's Jet is actually a hang glider that Lena was strapped to.

* The events of 6x09 and 6x10 happened in the span of 5 hours.

- Lena's biological mom was one of the resident lesbian witches.

- Google/Apple maps can help you finding the cave of an old forest witch.

- A gigantamax housecat and a dragon are apparently the cheapest CGI that this show still can't afford.

- They can't afford an extra to play Lena's biological mom either, the budget was only enough for Katie on a wig and a sepia filter.

- Nyx and Andrea were thirst traps on this episode.

The Avengers watch Rogers the Musical

Sam: He hates it, hates it, HATES IT, actually tried to get a refund

Bucky: No strong opinion for or against, but says that he loves it to annoy Sam, also goaded Sam into trying to get said refund

Sharon: went to see it ironically, secretly happy that she is not in the play (because god knows that knife has been twisted enough), won't admit that half of the songs are stuck in her head

Pepper and Morgan: Pepper fell sleep 10 minutes into it because she already had to go to 10 meeting that day, Morgan love it through

Scott: just happy that he was in the musical

Hank and Janet: only went because Scott wanted to go, Hank's blood pressure boiled every time the name Stark was said specially in the part with Howard, Janet may or may not had to take him to the hospital because he may or may not had suffered a heart attack by the end of it

Hope and Cassie: also only went to accompany Scott, funniest thing that they had seen in their life, purchased the soundtrack afterwards

Peter: very offended that they casted an 8 years old for him

Steven: lost a bet with Wong and had to go and see it, very baffled that his only line is about the 14 million timelines

Shang-Chi: kills it with "Save the City" in Karaoke nights

Fury: didn't see it, lost interest after learning that his character has 3 lines and doesn't sing either

Bruce: appreciated that they downplayed the mindless rampaging monster side of Hulk

Thor: thinks that this is still better than Loki's plays in Asgard

Loki: thinks that he has put on scene better plays in Asgard, HAS THOUGHTS, like a lot of them, about the skill as singer and dancer of the actor that portrayed him
