ughh im thinking about sunday. specifically about the person he used to be and the person he is now. that confident person with a twisted, unhinged side to him?? guy who definitely enjoyed putting aventurine in his place and causing harm to him. from that, to this almost...meek individual harboring so much sadness and guilt. i think a lot about the fact that he severed his halo in order to feel pain to keep himself in his place. to feel grounded, to feel closer to...humanity?? i guess? i never really know how to describe how exactly i interpret this, but it makes me feel something in my gut just aahhhh. i think the symbolic fusing between him and wonweek was very beautiful, and due to a similar experience i had during a self-introspective moment, i really do relate to him and love him so much. sunday canonically has ocd, and at some point i realized that i shouldn't see my ocd as something separate from me. it is still me, it is still my brain. i decided that working alongside it in a way would be more beneficial as well as treating that side of me with kindness and love instead of hatred! and yes, it isnt just an ocd parallel. i just decided to read into that aspect at the same time. i just think sundays a really beautiful character and i care him so much! i think him being part of the express is such a good decision, and even though stellaron hunter sunday would've been awesome, this is definitely the best path for him. someone pointed out that if he had been in the stellaron hunters, following a script wouldn't benefit him at all. he deserves to spend time in the real world now with people around him who care about him, and i am looking forward to seeing his development with the express in the upcoming amphoreus story. im also...quite terrified. the story is going to hurt so bad...i can just feel it already.

Superman was just taking a break out of the Fortress of solitude after a couple of training to defend himself against kryptonite in case of another fight against Lethor.

Clark watched the Icy landscape in silence. It was quiet as the sky was dark, with only the tiny sound of a dangerously slow beating of a drum or a heart right underneath the ice..

Clark immediately went into Superman mode, driving right into the very glacier of frozen ice, only to nearly crash into a body in some large tunnel hole large enough to fit an adult.

It was a boy, a preteen at most curled up in a ball hugging himself with black and white hair that had a frost covered half of a crown on his head, eyes closed as If asleep with frozen tears stuck to his face like icicles, wearing a kryptonian suit with the initials rip on his chest.

Superman didn't think much or twice as he grabbed the boy carefully, diving out the hole he made from the Icy grounds.

The boy was ice cold, much colder then space itself if it weren't for the icy breath.

He dove back to the Fortress of Solitude in a tiny bit of panic, not to think at all as the Fortress's voice of Lara spoke out with a hologram.

"DNA Recognition, distant cousin once removed, Emergency Defense security disarmed."

Her eyes flickered a bit as if a message was being played, her face look a bit worried and hopeful.

"Oh, child of my beloved brother, Jac-al, if you have survived long enough under the eccentric of my brother and found the Fortress of Solitude. I hope you that you didn't inherit my brother eccentric antic to malfunction everything he built without forgetting to check if they are faulty."

He didn't mean to fall into a different universe, a natural portal opened up and he was being a curious little thing! He didn't mean to trip and fall in during his nap time.

Nor was he expecting to fall into this realm during a rogue attack and knock out said rogue cause they were being a meanie and harming people and now Danny just wants his nap time cause he spent a lot of his tiny engery and he wants to find a nice spot.

Danny finds a place to crash, snuggling himself into his cape and the astronaut bear Danielle got him during her last visit that he takes everywhere since.

He's out like a light as the door to this safe house that belongs to one of the Bats opens up.

Meanwhile. In the Infinite Realms, Queen Regent Jazz is going into Mama Bear Jazz Mode trying to find her deaged brother, keeping the Realms in check, and is resisting the urge to put CW in time out Soup Time because he's being cyptided again about Danny whereabouts!!! UGH!

Not gonna lie, Aarmau as a relationship in MCD had a lot going for it tbh

Reincarnations of Shad and Irene, both doomed individuals who lost themselves in different ways and for different reasons reincarnate.

Aaron loses everything he loves just as Shad did and seeks revenge, only he falls in love with Aphmau who has had the weight of the world on her shoulders since she came back to the world they reside in.

What made them fall in love? Was it understanding? Respect? Was it desperation? Fate? Who knows?

There is actually a big appeal to Aarmau in MCD, the cyclical nature of their relationship is insane to me.

its essentially impossible to come up with stuff for these two without leaving speculation to go straight into headcanon territory, but it's especially hard to me to think what would make Celebi appealing to a specific character, because she gets so little to do in the game...

My best bet would be that, much like with grovyle, he would also admire celebi's strenght, resilience and unwavering will? I think she could light up his days the same way she does grovyle's. I do wish we had anything more than celebi calling him a "coward" in a very specific context. You can barely argue that adjective has any deeper meaning when dusknoir's plan is literally hide behind grovyle's corpse to surprise hero and partner, the "coward" feels too apt for the situation to go much deeper.

(We dont even get to see why Grovyle likes her in the game, we see them after they've become inseparable, and thats only really apparent in se5, bc in the main story grovyle just says shes a bit weird and celebi teases him sometimes. i wish we had more clues of how they behaved in regular environments)

tbh my fav thing for them is having them separated and only coming together because of grovyle. they both revolve around him, so they find common ground in it, and their love for him is what pushes them to open up to each other. it's what makes the most sense to me considering that dusknoir does not even verbally acknowledge her in the main story. id say itd be suspicious if it wasnt bc of 2000s misogynistic writing.
