i love the idea of the batfam wearing each other's merch cause like. i know they'd be petty about it. usually they'd wear their siblings merch in (kinda) equal rotations, but they'd change it up depending on sibling squabbles or sibling favours. Damian, sporting a full-on Red Robin hoodie: Tim: woah. what brought this on? you usually only exclusively wear Batman or Nightwing merch Damian: you helped me take that splinter out of Alfred's paw yesterday. Richard on the other hand has recently messed up my painting palette. Dick, from the other room: IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! Damian: he'll get over it. Cass, wearing Nightwing merch for the 5th day in a row: Jason: goddamn. what did Dickie do to get in your good graces like this? Cass, smiling: he made me a flower crown Jason: ... that's it? You know in the context of this page it might look like Bart's late to the party and he's throwing around half-baked theories, but considering how often impersonation happens to speedsters it's a damn good theory. Solid really.

How often you ask? Well let's see all the times a speedster has been impersonated or had their body stolen in the comics:

Eobard impersonating Barry at Barry's own wedding. (The Flash (1959) Vol. 1 #165)

Eobard impersonating Barry while he was dead. (The Flash (1987) Vol. 2 #73-79)

Eobard stealing Barry's body. (The Flash (2016) Vol 6 #759)

Malcolm Thawne stealing Jay Garrick's body. (The Flash (1987) Vol 2. #148-149)

Thad impersonating Bart. (Impulse #62-66)

Bart impersonating Thad (albeit for a hot second to trick Craydl). (Impulse #56)

The Rival stealing Max Mercury's body. (Impulse #89)

And these are just the ones I know off the top of my head! There might be even more that I don't know of. But body snatching and impersonation is just baked into their history and I love it.

If we can rely on Treasure Island as a template for how the finale goes down, one of the kids (probably Wim) will get hurt (possibly by the pirates, possibly by the Supervisor or the droids or just some accident) and then Jod will have his change of heart/redemption, realizing this kid’s life means more than all the treasure in the galaxy

The character we are analyzing and expressing sympathy for, the one that was truly a subject of detestable circumstances and Shinra’s cruelty and control, the character with tragedy written into his very conception, and that deserved a much better life…does not exist within the Sephiroth that left the library and burned Nibelheim.

He died during those seven days and while the writers may have included nods to the tragedy of that loss…

“FFVII Rebirth Director Hamaguchi says that, in FFVII Rebirth, when Sephiroth burns Nibelheim to the ground, there is a slightly lonely look on his face as he breaks into a grin. So, he's looking forward to how people will react to these more human aspects of Sephiroth.”

…while they may hint at his deeper grief, it is still truth that what drowns any of his sadness out is violent anger and hatred. The dark feelings that drive him to be cruel, sadistic, and merciless towards the innocent. Who Sephiroth once was is gone…and we can say how tragic that is and we do, but this never means we are standing behind him or supporting who he is now.

This reborn Sephiroth is a walking dead shell with nothing but his old soul’s rage and madness left. He is just the villain with evil motives now. Very few think he is in the right without being ironic.

I say all of this to make it clear that people ought not to be attacked for studying and sympathizing with his old self.

I misread that "Hawks is forced to give a talk at Izuku's school. His class would like to know why he knows the number 3 hero" ask at first and thought it was about Anyone. And I'm now just laughing imagining Izuku's civillian identity's classmates and acquaintances reactions. Or class 1a too, since they know Izuku through Shouto. Like, what do you mean Shouto's perfectly normal civillian boyfriend knows the number 3 hero (and oh, did Hawks just flinch when Izuku glared at him or did they see wrong..? )

The real difference between villains and super villains is that the latter are immediately willing to murder people to keep their civilian identity. Hawks has a very bad feeling, like someone walked over his grave, from the moment he takes one step in Kohaku, and when he enters that classroom and sees who is there, he can literally see the decision in Yami's eyes to silence him forever.

And honestly, Yami doesn't even have to kill Hawks himself. He can just pull the puppy eyes on the other supervillain with actual mass murder under his belt and who is indulging him like crazy and Hawks' body will never be found.

Hawks almost flies out of the room and through the unopened window but one look from Yami freezes him in place.

Hawks is a magnificent actor, trained to keep his cool under immense pressure but this time, he is a stammering mess, trying very hard not to glance at the small white demon looking at him with a very cold look in his eyes. Still, he manages to hide how terrified he is... right until Izuku raises his hand to ask a question. Which question, you ask? Nobody knows because the number 3 hero was startled so hard that he flung himself out of the room and never came back.

I’m curious to what the rest of the characters (apart from sera) would react to MC having an identical twin sibling that only has a few traits different from Mc (like short hair while mc has long hair or having different colored eyes ect)

given that Yael has known you since you two were students, he would've at least heard of your twin, if not met them in person. it might be hard for him at first to distinguish the two of you, but he eventually learns quickly. however, discerning the voice difference would be a little more difficult for him. he would get really flustered if he accidentally mistook your twin for you, especially if you were dating him and he said something sweet only for your twin to respond, "erm actually, i'm not your partner." LOL

Klein would be curious. he would take some time to observe you just a little more closely, wanting to know every little detail about you to ensure he never, ever mistakes you for your twin (which is unlikely given his exceptional memory as an android in the first place, he's just an eager dog a bit extra like that). despite the shared similarities, there is a distinct difference in how he treats you and your twin.

Al wouldn't change much either. though he's a little surprised upon discovering your twin, he would have a hard time differentiating between you two. this would prompt him to talk to you more in person instead of observing from afar so he could learn more about you and differentiate between you and your twin quicker. he wouldn't want to accidentally stalk the wrong person /silly

Briar would simply try to befriend your twin as well! the same goes for Cassius, but Briar would mistake you for your twin more often than Cassius. either way, the two would still treat you and your twin just as friendly ^^

Ethan would treat you and your twin equally. if he and Sera wanted to go on trips, he would always want both of you to join, making sure neither of you feels left out. he would want to get along with your twin too, and Sera finds his insistence funny in an endearing way (Sera's family is his family too).
