Arknights Pull Priority Guide - Future Event Spoilers
Pull priority guide from post lucent arrowhead to delicious in dungeon collab. Ranked from highest-value operator to lowest, at the end I'll discuss which banners to prioritize.
#1: Stop playing ga cha games
#2: Odda.
brings Ho'olheyak's previously unique niche of a rapid-fire uplift to a five star package. While he's more limited in what enemies he can lift, he more than makes up for it with better uptime and splash AOE. It's rare that 5 stars get to compete directly with 6 stars. For that alone, he's absolutely worth your time. Just like ho'olheyak before him, he's got excellent synergy with one particular IS4 relic.
#3: Nymph.
so far the only applicator of the "fear" status effect, which is distinct from Degenbrecher's frighten. It's a unique status that forces enemies to walk backwards for a short time. It has a lot of potent use cases, especially against slower enemies. Like most of our entrants here, her notable skill has a reasonably low SP cost.
#4: Laios Touden.
a character fully unique to arknights from one of the manhwas, i think it's called "Dig Dug's Dungeon Dining"? It was part of the konami collaboration. Anyway, he, like odda, brings a 6-star utility to a lower rank. Frighten is a fairly powerful effect, fully canceling an enemy's auto-attacks, but on a purely-offensive operator like degenbrecher, it didn't quite have a central place on her kit. Laios has much tankier stats as a dreadnought, and his frighten has a long duration and low SP cost.
#5: Logos
What logos brings to the table is straight out of the matrix: he can slow down and potentially delete nearly any projectile with his s3. It's flashy, and when used cleverly can save you a lot of grief. However, it's hardly applicable to every situation. Some of the most dangerous ranged enemies don't use projectiles at all, and some "projectiles" ignore his skill anyway. It's certainly not universal, but when it's useful, it's fun and powerful.
#6: Ascalon
She doesn't bring anything fully unique, but what she does bring is a bit stronger and weirder than most operators before her. Like Ela, she has a skill that inflicts "accuracy reduction" on enemies, with a 50% chance for any enemy attack to miss instead of Ela's 40%. It has some distinct use cases from dodge, notably stopping certain damage-over-time effects that would result from a hit. On top of that, she can slow aerial enemies with her s2 without damaging them, which looks very funny. Overall, a useful and unique operator.
Honorable mentions: Chilchuck Tims - Unlike Folinic, who only gives herself resistance environmental effects, Chilchuck gives full immunity. He's also kind enough to share with any allies within his range. Ulpianus - Technically the first operator to be able to redeploy himself with a skill, but it's hardly different from just. Y'know. redeploying an operator normally. Can still be very useful, especially when rapidly swapping between lanes. Narantuya - Also applies accuracy reduction to enemies, but despite the infinite application time, its range and chance leaves much to be desired. Instead of a 50%, it's only 20%. Lutonada - Extremely adorable. Also, shifting utility on a defender is completely unique if you've never heard of croissant.
Which Banner Should I Pull On?
While it's easy to get caught up in the hype of a new limited banner, Logos' cool utility is barely applicable to more than a handful of sick compilations. Try to grab someone more reliable, like Laios Touden, who will scream at your enemies! With that in mind, here are my recommendations:
This banner has two of my recommended operators: Pallas' Bodyguard, and the Janitor Director Ascalon, and one of my honorable mentions, Lutonada. 3 for the price of 1 is the best deal you'll get here!
logos banner: He might not be the most widely applicable, but you can't go wrong with something that entertaining. Still, I wouldn't recommend pulling too hard. Missing out on him isn't the end of the world.
HUH??? what? why is grain buds on this banner? what's she doing down there??? omg save this child
Nyumph is also fully unique! She's got style in spades, too, nothing like those bountiful boring blue banners up above.
And with that, we've come to the end of arknights. I did think it was weird that they did end of service on their Fyodor Dostoevsky collaboration, Dungeon In Delicious, but you never really know how these things are going to go aha. Thanks for reading, hope you have a nice day!
This banner has 1 main pick, Laios, and one of my honorable mentions, chilchuck. With 2, that's greater than one, and therefore much higher value than the other banners except ascalon's where you can Definitely pull odda. Really try to pull odda from that one, i dare you. If you don't you can come to my house and break my legs. I'll even post my address under the cut:

Stealing the spotlight (Media coverage)
Model!Satoru x Makeup Artist!Reader
<Previous chapter. Next Chapter>
New Faces Light Up Aether Vision Runway: Suguru Geto and Kento Nanami Shine, While Satoru Gojo Falls Short
Osaka, Japan – The Aether Vision Runway event, designed to spotlight fresh talent hoping to make their mark in the modeling industry, proved to be an unforgettable night—but not for the same reasons for everyone involved. While Suguru Geto and Kento Nanami impressed with their poise and professionalism, Satoru Gojo’s flamboyant performance left much to be desired, casting a shadow over what could have been a promising debut.
The event brought together aspiring models from across Japan, offering them a chance to showcase their skills in front of industry insiders. Among the hopefuls, Geto, Nanami, and Gojo stood out as the night’s most talked-about participants.
Suguru Geto quickly established himself as the highlight of the show, exuding confidence and charisma as he commanded the runway. His ability to embody the mood of each outfit, paired with his intense, magnetic presence, left the audience captivated. Industry insiders have already begun speculating that Geto’s performance may open doors beyond modeling, with rumors of casting offers for both fashion campaigns and film roles circulating after the show.
“Suguru has that rare ability to make you stop and watch,” said one casting agent. “He understands how to tell a story without saying a word.”
Kento Nanami also left a lasting impression, albeit with a very different approach. His clean-cut style and quiet elegance stood in stark contrast to the dramatic flair of the event’s theme, but it worked in his favor. Nanami’s composed demeanor on the runway resonated with audiences and industry professionals alike, showcasing a classic charm that some say is sorely missing in modern fashion. Whispers suggest Nanami may already be in talks for future international runway shows, as well as appearances in television dramas.
“Kento is the kind of model who can fit anywhere, whether it’s on a high-end runway or in front of a camera,” commented one fashion journalist. “His versatility is going to take him far.”
Satoru Gojo, on the other hand, struggled to find the right balance between personality and professionalism. His bold style and cheeky attitude generated excitement leading up to the event, but his performance on the runway failed to live up to the hype. Gojo’s exaggerated gestures, such as repeatedly adjusting his sunglasses and breaking into playful smirks, drew more laughter than admiration. Many felt his antics detracted from the outfits he was meant to highlight.
“Satoru definitely caught attention, but not for the right reasons,” said a fashion insider. “He has the charisma, but he needs to remember that the runway is about showcasing the designs, not himself.”
Despite the criticism, Gojo’s natural charm and striking appearance still garnered some attention, with whispers of potential casting in light-hearted commercials and possibly even action-oriented projects. However, his road to establishing himself as a serious model might require some reevaluation.
Social media buzzed with commentary after the event, with hashtags like #GetoBreakout and #NanamiElegance trending, while #GojoOverhyped became the center of heated debate. Fans of all three models defended their favorites, but even Gojo’s supporters acknowledged that his performance didn’t meet expectations.
As Aether Vision Runway closes its doors, the future seems bright for Suguru Geto and Kento Nanami, whose professionalism and talent have made them names to watch in the industry. For Satoru Gojo, this debut served as a learning experience—and perhaps a reminder that charm alone won’t always carry the day.

Hello there. I really do love the post and how you discussed about Yor and Anya’s bond and it’s importance but there’s something in your hashtags I feel misleading.
Yor is still the nurturer. Far more than Loid has ever been. She’s the one who comforts the entire family. And what do you mean by inversion of gender roles?
Hi! Thanks for the ask and the compliment! 😊🌸
And sorry about that my tags are usually just ramblings that I feel I can't explain well enough to include in the post so they are often my thoughts in their purest most half-formed half intelligible When I said Loid takes on the "nurturer" role I didn't mean to imply that Yor wasn't a nurturer she's the emotional backbone of the family of course often helping Loid see things in a way a child might see them or a family. she makes their family work. But what I meant is that she doesn't do things a traditional society would assign to the "nurturer" aka the woman in fact she often flounders in those roles Loid takes up the cooking, the shopping, he does some cleaning (even tho I believe they mentioned Yor mostly handles that as a balance) Loid is the one mostly in charge of Anya's schooling and general enrichment, he does the entertaining when they have guests. These are things that society would usually assign to the mother for all intents and purposes he manages the household, he's the "homemaker" and part of that is because he's a control freak and he's so desperate to make this work for the success of Operation Strix that he will happily fill in all of the spots that Yor cant and have her focus solely on being a "believable" mother to Anya. And we know this kind of gender stereotypes exist within the world because of Yor's friend's reactions to her inability to cook (I think they mentioned she'll never get a man or how did she get a man without these skills or some variation of the phrase) and we see it when the interviewer derides her for having her husband cook at the start of the show. So it is a subversion of the expected gender roles and it is a big enough worry that Yor has been shown to be scared that she will be reported to the secret police. so it is a deliberate gender subversion at that. now think of the role Yor plays in Anya's life, how she fits into it. Shes a symbol of strength and protection in a very physical sense this isn't a role usually ascribed to women and mothers especially in anime. It's a role usually given to a father. The person that you call when your in trouble, who you think is the strongest person in the world, who is your own personal hero. Think of Jiraya, Shanks, Nanami, Whitebeard, Roger etc. Yor fulfills all those roles for Anya. Yor is the one that any goes to for sports lessons, and advice on how to beat up bullies and its Yor that any first and foremost calls out for when shes in a tight spot. It's Yor that teaches her these lessons about strength and self belief and maybe shes not as gruff as the typical adopted anime dad but she fulfills the same role. Its not a mistake that when Loid is reassuring Yor on her skills at being a mother because Yor thinks shes doing terrible because she cant do all the stereotypical "mother" things. Loid tells her that her strength is enough.

he says this specifically after saying that all he remembers about his own mother was that she was strong too so why would he think Yor was the perfect mom? If through all the trauma and the pain loid has experienced the only thing he remembers about the life he used to live is that his mother was strong why wouldn't he want that for Anya? so yeah that's kind of what I mean by gender inversion. I dont know how much of this is intentional or if the mangaka is specifically doing this. but he's not outright subverting gender expectations but he is breaking them wide open examining them picking them apart and turning them on their head. Like look at the fact that its Yor that gets all the cool anime fights with the flashiness and pushing human abilities to the limit. Their fight scenes in code white showcase this especially. Yor fights the inhuman machine in this giant sprawling battle full of flash and hype while she performs superhuman deeds while Loids fight while very artisticly rendered and still fun is very basic hand to hand which makes sense for them Loid is a spy fighting is his last resort its about efficiency while Yor is an assassin she literally fights and kills for a living. The manga is not afraid to showcase to you at every turn that if Yor and Loid where to engage with straight fisticuffs Yor wins 10 times out of 10. And like now really think about the last time in a shonen especially a female protagonist fight had even near as much hype as even a secondary main male character never mind the male protagonist. And here Yor consistently has the most intense attractive fights we are waiting for her fights that's an inversion if I've ever seen it. Again I dont know how much of this is intentional and it is definitely way more complex than this and I am not calling any other anime mom weak or whatever but I just think about when I took a Classics class and we were on the section about greek heroines my professor mentioned how in greek mythology Greek heroes are marked by their ability to overcome (even when it ends in tragedy) while Greek heroines are marked by their ability to endure. And I think about that alot
Its all about how they managed to survive all the suffering they had been through and dont get me wrong the ability to endure is a great strength but it is a "passive" one and so is thereby assigned to women
#Its all about how they managed to survive all the suffering they had been through#and dont get me wrong the ability to endure is a great strength but it is a “passive” one and so is thereby assigned to women#while the ability to surmount that is assigned to men and that still kind of happens today. it happens alot in one piece actually#but yeah thats kind of what I mean this doesnt make sense but hopefully it does#this got really wrong#but I hope somewhere in my rambling I answered your question#I didnt mean to imply that Yor isnt a nurturer#she obviously cares for and spends alot of time with anya#but yeah#shes not a traditional “nurturer”#god I hope this makes sense#thank you for the ask anon#KC's ask mes#thanks anon#I didn’t mean for it to be that deep 😭#thanks for the ask!#loid forger#yor forger#loid x yor#twiyor#yor briar#yor spy x family#yor sxf#spy family#forger family#anya forger#spy x family#sxf#sxf manga#sxf analysis

Terran Mirage with Malto Terrans -- Thrash
1 - Hashtag | 2 - Twitch | 3 - Jawbreaker | 4 - Nightshade | 5 - Thrash
(disclaimer: this is a fanfic, don't take it seriously with the canon)

Thrash tried to like Mirage Diaz. He really did. But ever since he came, his siblings constantly spend their time with their guest over their big bother. Even Mo. Robby shares his dismay and the two watch their siblings enjoying the presence of the non-Malto Terran in disdain.
How lucky is this guy?” Thrash wondered upon hearing that Mirage could attend school and go about in his village without needing to hide.
“How hopeless is he?” thought Thrash to himself when Mirage informed that had no Cybertronian mentor nor any combat skills to protect himself and his village and family.
“No wonder he got captured.” Thrash muttered loud enough for Mirage to hear. His parents gave him a pointed look, Twitch elbowed him in the side, Mo and his younger siblings look at him weirdly. But Robby agreed with him. The elder brothers later got a scolding lecture from their parents.

Thrash’s disdain towards Mirage worsened after Nightshade trusted a Decepticon who nearly wipe their parents’ memories. Before the Decepticon named Tarantulas left, he pulled Mirage aside to talk privately. Thrash felt he needed to listen in; Hashtag joined him. Tarantulas showed a holographic picture of a Cybertronian who looked so alike to Mirage.
“This is Autobot Mirage of Iacon.” Tarantulas told the non-Malto Terran. “He went missing years before the final battle for the Allspark. He had info of a Decepticon team possessing a sun destroyer, but his comrades didn’t believe him and assumed he had betrayed them because he returned without his commander.”
Thrash did not stay long enough to hear the full story. Hashtag did and tried to convince her big brother that whatever he believed about Mirage was wrong. Alas, Thrash’s distrust had solidified. Mirage was no Terran. He was not one of them.

After a mind-controlled Mirage had hurt his siblings that night in Philadelphia, they frustratingly still didn’t take Thrash’s side except Robby. The older brothers were glad he was gone but they received angry, disappointed scoldings from their parents who were told of the incident by a shaken Mo and Hashtag. Dorothy and the girls went out to search for their guest while the rest stayed home with Alex, grounded.
It took a few heart-to-heart conversations with his siblings and father for Thrash to realize he may have been too harsh on Mirage yet the distrust remained. When Mirage was reunited with his family and followed them to New York, Thrash had never felt so peaceful. He did not understand why the triplets didn’t feel the same way, especially Hashtag.
Mirage returned to the Malto farm after the cybersleeves malfunctioned, this time accompanied by his adopted brother and mother. Thrash kept his feeling under wraps but couldn’t help and rolled his optics when Kris and Mirage had no problems like them despite being separated for months. The Emberstone water the Maltos collected didn’t fix the sleeves so they resorted to go to the source itself …Then the water vanished and the cave’s floor fell in while they were inside it.
Although Thrash never trusted the Seekers, he needed to ask what they know about Autobot Mirage. Surprisingly, they have an answer: Autobot Mirage never betrayed the Autobots. He had saved the entire solar system by stopping the Decepticon team who had sun killer machine by himself. They have no clue what became of him afterwards and assumed the Autobots had got rid of him for insubordination. On the other side, Starscream informed Hashtag and Mirage the same thing alongside a reminder to Mirage:
“Don’t think you and Autobot Mirage are the same person. The only things you share with him are your name and abilities. He is of Cybertron like I, while you are of Earth.”
They had forgotten to discuss it after they escaped from the caves as Robby became deathly ill because of the cybersleeve. When the sleeves were restored, Mirage and the Malto Terrans went separate ways again … but the Diaz never arrived home.

On the wall behind Mandroid’s ‘throne’ there hung the human Maltos and the Diaz mother and younger son. Thrash and Twitch were on top of the alien tower to rescue them and stop the no-longer-human Mandroid once and for all. Twitch is then forced to flee from a mind-controlled Megatron meanwhile Thrash faced a mind-controlled Mirage who was fueled with guilt and rage.
“Why do you hate me so much! Why?!” cried Mirage as he tried to control his hands around Thrash’s neck. “I don’t want to hurt you!”
Their fight was a blur. Thrash deflected Mirage’s blades over and over again until he twisted them, yanked them and tossed Mirage from the ledge. All Thrash could think about was his twin who was fighting against Mandroid alone.
Mandroid’s last laugh didn’t last long but neither did their celebration. Feelings of horror, terror and grief emitted from the triplets who were on the ground below. Realisation dawned on Thrash when he spotted Kris’ darkened cybersleeve.
When he climbed down the tower, his worst fears came true. The cries of his younger siblings and the Diaz haunted Thrash for a long time.

I ask to myself if I will be good at drawing and answer with a yes to be happy.... Are you having any tricks to being a good artist or just need to draw until get bored to be good? I am asking all serious because I really need a advice, I hope you will answer
welllll if by being a good artist u mean "being good at art" in a practical sense (and not a ~philosophical one because..what does being a good artist really mean and who is the judge of that ) i think that drawing with intent and purpose will probably skyrocket your skills instead of just drawing mindlessly, not really sure of what or why you're doing. It's totally fine to be clueless and unsure in the beginning as you slowly figure yourself out, but if your goal is improving, then being an active participant in your drawing decisions and process is a good place to start imo.
you can draw daily for years and see little to no improvement if you don't put any thought into your art and keep repeating the same mistakes over and over, living blissfully unaware (and equally bored) of any technical aspects that may come with art. So maybe next time you draw something, instead of following your usual routine, how about you switch it up and pick one aspect of your art that you're unhappy with and research that topic more: look up tutorials, find refs, inspiration, look at your faves' art to see how they do it, break it down and understand it to the best of your ability and then try incorporate what you've learned into your own art. Theory beats practice, so you probably won't draw that thing right the first time ( or nth time ) but at least you have the satisfaction of learning something new, and that counts as a small win and a baby step towards becoming " good at art"
just.,, keep that hashtag growth mindset and always keep your eyes and ears open to learning and always bettering yourself by engaging critically with your art
#this works for any sort of skill or aspect of life really#unless you're not super depressed or in a toxic environment.........then that's probably something very annoying to hear#what are you talkinh abouy iztea#ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nnothing anyweays Yeaaah practice practice anon but with INTENT#ask iztea

Last time I'm gonna get into this...
Within the past 24 hours, there have been FIVE attacks on Weibo with paid hashtags against Jeon Jungkook.
JK has been accused of cheating on a blonde girlfriend, leaving a string of broken hearts, getting a girl pregnant, inappropriate behavior at what looks like a club or karaoke bar, and sexually harassing female staff. These accusations are being systematically criticized and debunked when errors are pointed out.
Clearly, there is a smear campaign coinciding with the release of 3D.
Now look, I cannot promise you that all the "evidence" is manufactured. But it's definitely being weaponized. So I'd ask you to just keep an open mind, use your critical thinking skills, and be patient, because this isn't the first time rumors like this have exploded and it won't be the last. Sometimes it takes a while for the truth to come to light.
You'll never catch me in these streets acting like a cult member. I'm not going to sit here and draw up schematics and comparison photos in some desperate attempt to convince the timeline of anything. Nor am I going to say someone rented a similar apartment, staged it with mood lamps and a doberman, and then had an actor wear a mask to set up JK (more likely, it's a random couple that got filmed without their knowledge). I won't delve into conspiracy theories about companies or competitors or comebacks or cosplayers or any of that.
If later it turns out that Jungkook has a partner other than Jimin, I really hope all the members of this community join me in quietly accepting that and calmly wishing him and Jimin well. The vast majority of people here do not ship them because they are pretty dolls to play with, but celebrate them because they are wonderful human beings with a unique, decade-long relationship that makes us light up inside.
Their bond and their characters speak for themselves. And until they tell us otherwise (or, sadly, until REALLY CONCRETE evidence is leaked--which will be hard to prove in a post-fact world full of AI and deep fakes), we can theorize all day long about their behavior and what it means for their personal lives, but only the Tannies ever truly know what the Tannies are going through.
And as frustrated as we are with not knowing, they have a right to keep it that way.
So please get out of my ask box and instead refocus your energy (she said lovingly). The ajumas are most definitely planning a last minute crazy-cakes push on idolplus and the gap in votes is nowhere near safe for Jimin. It's all hands on deck!! We have less than two days to get the only remaining BTS member his end-of-year award before he serves his country, so please make accounts and VOTE.
Also please stream and buy the new releases to the best of your ability, of course.
And finally, if you have the energy, take a moment to lift someone else up today. Even if it's just a kind word in their inbox. Be a good human and do something gentle and nurturing for yourself while you're at it.
Chins up, my puppykitties. We gotta pull ourselves together.
We are ARMY, and we have battles to win.
Plus, tomorrow begins Jimtober. You guys remember Jimin? Here, let JK help you out with that.
Okay, byyyyyyeeee.
P.S. I love you guys.

It's the Anon with the long G1 ask. I didn't know if it reached you since I remembered that Tumblr site sometimes eats the asks, so I had sent it again in parts. You can ignore those since my original one managed to reach you. Thanks for answering it : ) . I will add to this that I saw the reblog that suggested killing Optimus (since the show won't let him DO anything), but honestly that's how I feel about Earthspark Megatron. Megatron's presence just ended up stripping the both the screen time and purpose of the other characters:
Wheeljack's relationship with Twitch got shafted to show Megatron being such a great uncle figure to her. Megatron's relationship with Dorothy quite literally shoved Alex into the third wheel category whenever the show focuses on them (which is a lot). Everything has already been said with Optimus by others because the show's team is so blatantly obvious with their hate for Optimus. Even Bumblebee's character suffers whenever the show needs to make Megatron look good!
The only time the characters are allow SOME level of breathing room to exist in the plot is when Megatron ISN'T THERE. And even then, the show acts like it doesn't want to deal with ANY of the characters outside of Megatron, the Decepticons, Hashtag, Mo, Dorothy, and Nightshade (to an extent). Everyone else is just dragged along for the right, not really being allowed to be explored more than what is deemed necessary and not allowed to contribute their skill sets to the plot.
Optimus is just as much as a skilled tactician and charismatic person as Megatron, Bumblebee scouting and reconnaissance abilities, Alex's abilities as a Cybertronian Historian, Wheeljack's science abilities, the lists goes on but the show doesn't want to truly use them. Thinking about it now, I believe the show didn't want to use ANY of the autobots outside of maybe Bumblebee. Not just Optimus. They just wanted the focus be on Megatron and the Decepticons, but Hasbro's insistence force their hand. I mean, look at how the show treats the Decepticons vs how it treats the Autobots. It's clear the Autobots were just slapped on because the executives told them to.
The show's insistence with focusing on Megatron makes me believe that he's going to be the reason the Maltos go to Cybertron if/when we get the last batch of episodes. Seriously, if it doesn't involve FAMILY or Earth, the Maltos don't care.
What's interesting is that no individual Decepticons are mentioned in the ES Production Bible. The faction as a whole is mentioned and it's stressed that they're dangerous
I really want to know why so many great ideas were discarded and instead we got a questionable quality IDW-lite fanfic. TBH, I don't think it was solely Hasbro's doing. Paramount/Nickelodeon also have a reputation for executive meddling and let's be real, the writing quality in S1 wasn't that great in terms of executing ideas.

BORN IN THE U.S.-EH: From the outdoor skating rinks to the beloved Maple Leafs, Toronto makes lasting impact on projected 2019 first overall NHL pick Jack Hughes
Nov 27, 2018

PLYMOUTH, Mich. — It was like watching a magician pull a quarter from behind someone’s ear. After the fact, you could piece together what had happened but in the moment everyone was fooled, most notably the three dizzied Dubuque defenders.
The ever-evolving magic show of 17-year-old Jack Hughes, the consensus No. 1 pick in the 2019 NHL draft in Vancouver this June, was in fine form on a recent Sunday afternoon inside the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich., on the outskirts of Detroit.
Hughes’ USA Hockey National Team Development Program under-18 squad was leading comfortably early into the third period of a United States Hockey League contest against the Fighting Saints — a team comprised of mostly 19- and 20-year-olds — when the top prospect pulled this particular rabbit from his hat. The play began when Hughes intercepted a haphazard clearing attempt. He then went to work, first cutting ever-so slightly to his left to find a seam — or, rather, create a seam — between a pair of helpless Dubuque players at their own blue line. Hughes coolly gained the zone and outsmarted one more opposing player before sliding a precise pass to teammate Cole Caufield, who easily cashed in, at which point the team’s play-by-play man proclaimed, “he made that look almost too easy.”
The announcer was referencing the goal-scorer but he could also have been talking about Hughes, the team captain and best player on the ice this day by a country mile.
When you're playing with him, you've got to expect the unexpected. Teammate Cole Caufield
“He created a 2-on-1 out of a 3-on-2 for them,” said Caufield, himself a projected first-rounder in what is an American-heavy 2019 draft class. “When you’re playing with him, you’ve got to expect the unexpected and you have to trust him. You kind of know he’s going to make the right play.”
Hughes’ U-18 coach at the USNTDP, John Wroblewski, recalled similar wizardry from his star centre earlier this season against Dartmouth College. That day the magic started with an opposing defender having a “clear-cut, 99% chance” at exiting the zone with the puck, before Hughes stripped him of the puck, found Caufield, and Darmouth yanked its net off the moorings to prevent a goal. “You watch it on tape and you’re just, ‘oh my god.’ That is, I think, his defining quality: When he’s on … when he’s buzzing, you’d better have eyes in the back of your head because he is going to hunt you right down and that puck is going the other way as soon as he gets on top of you.”
It’s all to say, the #LoseForHughes social media hashtag has wide circulation for a reason: Jack Hughes could be worth tanking for. As a frame of reference, consider that in early March he broke the NTDP’s season scoring record for a player in his under-17 season (87 points in 46 games), averaging 1.92 points through 51 games and surpassing point-per-game marks of Auston Matthews (1.13) and Patrick Kane (1.11), the last two Americans selected first overall in the same age category. As a 16-year-old, facing teams made up mostly of 18- to 20-year-olds, Hughes registered 116 points in 60 games, which is one point shy of the program record set by Maple Leafs superstar Matthews who was a year older than Hughes at the time.
While he might not be mentioned in the same breath as generational talents such as Connor McDavid or Matthews — only time will complete that story — Hughes is viewed as a genuine No. 1 pick, the type of franchise-player-in-the-making an NHL team builds around. Though he’s a centre, the 5-foot-10, 168-pound Hughes has regularly been compared to similar-in-stature Blackhawks superstar winger Kane (his childhood idol), with emphasis on his grade-A skating ability, high-end hockey IQ, puck skills and that previously mentioned knack for creating offence out of thin air.
Yes, it’s early days. There’s a pile of hockey to be played between now and June, including the world junior championship beginning Boxing Day, where draft positioning can shift greatly based on performance. (The hype train will surely roar off its tracks in Vancouver and Victoria, where Hughes and his older brother, Quinn, a Michigan Wolverines defenceman and NTDP graduate selected seventh overall by the Vancouver Canucks last summer, are expected to don stars and stripes jerseys together.) Still, at this moment there is little to debate about whose name will be called first by a smiling NHL general manager eight months from now. As one Eastern Conference scout told The Toronto Sun: “If you look at first overall picks as a whole, he certainly fits that criteria. He’s certainly a dynamic talent. There’s a good group that could push him, but it’s Jack’s to lose right now.”
Hughes wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Any time you dream of something like that, you’re not dreaming to be the second or third pick overall,” said Hughes, who is chased only by Finnish forward Kaapo Kakko in the race for first overall. “You always want to be No. 1, the best. It’s really important to me.”

TORONTO, THE GOOD
There was little Jack Hughes, four years old, skating on a frozen baseball field in plain view from the classroom window in Mississauga. Inside the classroom, staring out at Jack and his dad Jim, was older brother Quinn, who might as well have been in jail.
The Hughes family home rang.
“Can you please not go out there? It’s really distracting. All he wants to do is watch you guys,” their mother, Ellen, recalls a school official pleading with her.

The Hughes family has always had an almost religious devotion to the frozen game, forever seeking out competition of the highest order. And the GTA – most notably the city-run outdoor rinks – holds a special place in their hearts. After all, it’s where the three Hughes boys — Quinn, now 19, Jack, now 17, and Luke, now 15 — grew their unbridled passion for the sport.

But when Jim took a job as an assistant with the American Hockey League’s Marlies and moved the family to Canada’s most populated city, this family that loved hockey gained a new level of access to the sport. When they weren’t playing for the city’s top youth hockey teams including the Mississauga Rebels and Toronto Marlboros, the boys spent every minute of their free time either on the outdoor rink at Wedgewood Park in Etobicoke, or touring around to watch Leafs, Marlies or Ontario Hockey League games. They were living and breathing hockey 24/7, in a hockey mad metropolis that encouraged that sort of behaviour.
“When we first moved to Canada, the first thing that was apparent to us was that hockey was in the culture, the society,” Jim Hughes said. “Everywhere you looked, kids were wearing jerseys to school. Just from a cultural standpoint … it’s on the radio, it’s on TV, it’s multiple games, it’s everywhere you look, hockey. It was just a fantastic place for the kids to grow up and and really grow their passion.”
It only intensified when Jim became head of player development with the Maple Leafs (after spending 11 years with the organization, he now works for renowned player agent Pat Brisson at CAA).
Jim recalled sneaking young Jack up to the ACC press box for a Leafs game shortly after being hired during the John Ferguson Jr. era. Healthy scratch Carlo Colaiacovo was sitting next to him, and broadcaster Dick Irvin was sitting next to Jack.
“I said to Jack, don’t move. Here’s your popcorn,” Jim said with a chuckle.
With tickets being sparse, expensive and usually both — even for Leafs staffers — Ellen would often drop her boys and some of their friends off at the gates, sending them on their way with standing-room ducats.
“It was sick,” Jack, a self-proclaimed die-hard Leafs fan, said of his time spent watching games from up near the rafters inside the ACC, noting he and his young friends would politely decline offers of beer from the boozehounds who dominate those quarters. “The atmosphere was unbelievable. If you go to any sporting event you’ll know that the die-hards are in the second section, standing-room only. It was pretty rowdy up there.”

Jack has met Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby – one of his childhood idols – on a few occasions, and this past summer skated alongside NHLers such as Jason Spezza, Taylor Hall and John Tavares.
For Jim there is no doubt that Toronto is where his boys fell in love with the sport.
HOCKEYTOWN, USA
If Toronto provided the memories, Michigan provided the springboard.
While Jack continues to hone his craft with the NTDP, older brother Quinn, a Canucks defence prospect, is starring with the Michigan Wolverines down the road in Ann Arbor, and 15-year-old Luke plays minor midget with the Detroit Little Caesars.
Luke, the youngest Hughes brother, appears positioned to follow in his brothers’ footsteps and join the top American junior-aged development program next season. If he were to find his way into the first round of the 2022 NHL draft, they would become the first three American brothers drafted in the first round.
Alex Turcotte, a fellow projected first-rounder and NTDP teammate, rooms with Jack and his parents in Plymouth, while San Jose Sharks first-round pick and Ottawa Senators property Josh Norris lives with Quinn in Ann Arbor. It’s a family affair at the rinks in Detroit, Plymouth and Ann Arbor, with the players often dropping in to watch their siblings’ games with mom and dad.
“It was kind of logical,” Jim said of the move across the border.
“It’s just another great hockey hub,” Ellen added, “It’s been a really great transition.”

‘HE’S A KILLER’
If there’s one thing instantly noticeable when watching Jack Hughes in a game – aside from his almost comically effortless skating stride – it’s his sense of urgency. He wants to be on the ice, he wants the puck, he wants to make a play, he wants to score and he wants it all five minutes ago.
It was no different this day at USA Hockey Arena. The puck was dropped to signal the start of the Sunday afternoon game against the visiting Fighting Saints and the first shift had passed, then the second and the third. Hughes, straddling one leg over the boards at his bench, clearly anxious as he awaited his first assignment. When he finally got the tap on the shoulder from coach Wroblewski, Hughes was not initially feeling it. A giveaway while attempting to carry the puck from behind his own net preceded a fruitless power play quarterbacked by the double-shifted Hughes, who, upon arrival back at the bench, kicked his skate against the boards – an early, if not rare sign of frustration by the player wearing No. 6.

“You might be able to shut him down for a period, but when he plays that way and sticks to it and just says, ‘I’m not going to get denied,’ there’s not a league that can stop him,” Wroblewski said.
“The game is more fun when you have the puck on your stick. I love to get on the ice, I’ll tell you that. It excites me. I just love to be out there competing and making plays out there. That’s kind of what puts a smile on my face,” said Hughes.
Scott Monaghan, the NTDP’s senior director of operations who has been with the program since its formation more than 20 years ago, can only recall being similarly impressed by two other players at first sight: Forward Phil Kessel (fifth overall, Boston, 2006) and defenceman Seth Jones (fourth overall, Nashville, 2013).
“He’s a killer. He wants to be in the game. He wants to score. He wants to win more than anything,” said Monaghan, who served as general manager for Team USA at the under-18 world championship in Russia last winter, where Hughes was named tournament MVP. “You watch him, he just flows. He glides and he can shift gears to faster and then you put the stick skills and the vision together with that.
“There he is, he’s back on the ice and you’re just following him for the whole shift until he goes back on the bench,” Monaghan added. “Even if he disappears somewhere for a minute, he pops right back up and he’s got the puck again. The puck gravitates to him. And he knows how to play in the big trees.”
Coach Wroblewski was equally blown away he first saw Hughes on the ice two years ago.
“It was tremendous to watch him with a group of kids that were two years older than him, how he could still just dominate the surface,” Wroblewski said. “He was still very small and slight back then. But he had this ability to navigate through traffic. How he could kind of freeze the opposition even though it’s guys that are two years older than him and much more mature in regards to their defensive habits. He could still freeze them up and open up his teammates.”
It all has scouts high on Hughes, the Florida-born, Toronto-raised, Michigan-based NHL superstar-in-waiting ahead of what appears to be a particularly strong draft class for American and Western Hockey League players. There were dozens of talent evaluators on hand for the recent Sunday game in Plymouth, including Detroit Red Wings general manager Ken Holland, whose team could be in the thick of the draft lottery proceedings by season’s end.
He's got great ability with the puck, just to kind of create offence from so many different ways; using his skill, using his speed, using his sense. Eastern Conference scout
“He’s got great ability with the puck, just to kind of create offence from so many different ways; using his skill, using his speed, using his sense,” said the Eastern Conference scout, noting Hughes tends to try to do a bit too much by himself at times, but that shouldn’t be viewed with concern for possible suitors.

NO PRESSURE
How has Hughes handled the pressure that comes with being the expected No. 1 overall pick?
By all accounts, with ease.
Hughes has managed to maintain an excellent pace thus far. He enters the month of December leading his team in points (nine goals and 43 points through 22 games played for an average of 1.95 PPG), while also thriving against college opponents, including a three-point game against the Michigan Wolverines which saw him face off against brother Quinn for the first time. Hughes recently led all players at the Five Nations tournament in the Czech Republic with six goals and 16 points in four games as the U.S. 2001-birth year group moved its undefeated streak on international ice to 18 games dating back to October 2017.
If he is feeling any heat, the forward isn’t letting on.
“There’s a lot of scouts and a lot of eyes on us every day, every game we have … and I think he has the most pressure on him obviously,” his teammate Caufield said. “He doesn’t let that affect him at all. He’s not too worried about anything like that right now. He just goes day by day and it’s really cool to see him not get too anxious about anything and just take every day as one at a time and go from there.”
Hughes said it has never been in his nature to be easily distracted by any outside forces — something he says he learned at an early age while starring in minor hockey in the “crazy hockey market” of Toronto. He also leans on his dad’s advice to “just keep your feet on the ground” and stay in the moment, and has benefited from seeing first-hand all that was involved when his brother went through the draft process last year.
Hockey is...so important in my life. Jack Hughes
“Of course it’s a big year. It’s kind of just one step closer to the ultimate dream, to play in the NHL,” Hughes said. “But for me, I’m kind of just taking it day by day and trying to enjoy it and trying to get better here at the NTDP. Honestly, I don’t really feel any pressure. I feel like I just want to do great and I know I’ll do great, so I just continue to come here and have fun.”
As to which teams might be in the hunt for Hughes, it’s safe to say it won’t be his beloved Maple Leafs, an organization that’s currently trending upwards. At the end of the day, Hughes will be content with an opportunity to take the next big step toward his dream.
“I know there’s a lot out there other than just hockey. Hockey is just a small thing in a big world,” he said. “But it’s so important in my life. I spend so much time thinking about it. I have such a love for it. Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without it.”
BEST TEAM EVER?
PLYMOUTH, Mich. — While Jack Hughes will command the bulk of the attention in the months leading up to the 2019 NHL draft in June, his teammates won’t be overlooked.

To hear the NTDP’s senior director of operations describe it, this year’s under-18 team could be the program’s strongest ever, joining the conversation alongside the 1984 birth-year group that included Ryan Kesler, Patrick Eaves and Jimmy Howard, the 1987-birth year team that featured Phil Kessel and Jack Johnson, and the 1997 birth-year squad that included Auston Matthews and Jeremy Bracco.
“But I think we’ll know more after next year in terms of where they fit in the overall pantheon,” said Scott Monaghan, who has been with the U.S. program since its formation more than 20 years ago.
Being surrounded by so much high-end talent should only benefit Hughes, who is projected to go first overall.
“He is obviously a very special player, but we see a lot of special things from various individuals on this team,” under-18 head coach John Wroblewski said. “Jack is right there at the top, but these other guys aren’t far behind him. They’re neck and neck as far as I’m concerned.”
Added fellow projected first-round pick, defenceman Alex Vlasic: “Having a ton of focus on (Hughes), obviously, it will bring focus to the team in general, so we’re obviously thankful for that. It’s just a great experience to be playing with such a great player.”
Last year, six players with ties to the NTDP were selected in the first round.
SENSORY FRIENDLY HOCKEY
No pre-game warmup music, no video replay, no PA announcer. To say the atmosphere inside USA Hockey Arena during a recent Sunday matinee was subdued would be putting it mildly.
But that was the whole idea, as USA Hockey hosted its first Sensory Friendly Day in partnership with the Autism Alliance of Michigan late last month.
When the under-18 American squad lined up for the singing of the Star Spangled Banner, there was no music pumped in – just a lone young singer without a microphone. So the players started singing, or doing their best variation of that.
“I hear them (singing) on the bus all the time. They’d better stick to hockey,” said coach John Wroblewski with a laugh.
The arena lighting away from the ice surface was dimmed, two suites at centre ice were designated quiet rooms for children who might need them, and ear plugs and gluten-free options were available at the concession stands.
It was all geared towards making the game as comfortable as possible for children with special needs.

The Hughes family thrives on competition, so it should come as no surprise that an annual Peel Region school board cross-country race ranks among the most memorable events for the family during their time in the GTA.
“It’s something away from the hockey rink,” Jim Hughes said of the meet he and his wife would always make sure their hockey standout sons, Quinn, Jack and Luke, signed up for. “You go in the woods and you run in the mud, in the rain, and you come out of the woods and somebody’s (No. 1), somebody’s two, somebody’s three …
“It was a different challenge away from hockey rinks and it was just almost refreshing,” he added, noting the boys’ athleticism and fierce competitive nature would usually lead them to a podium finish.

Inktober
So, in a few days it will be Inktober again.
Many (ill-informed and arrogant) people think Inktober is a silly thing, a show-off, a stupid challenge that has nothing to do with art, and generally despise those who partake in it. We will not talk of such people: they are just another specimen of the archaic "internet troll", and we know well one should not feed trolls. They are only expressing themselves to grief others, or to spoil their fun, and this is pretty much their top aspiration for their internet persona - and I think this speaks volumes of what kind of people they might be in real life.
I'll tell you this instead: Inktober was the very reason why I started considering my stupid office-time doodles something more than that; and, potentially, the very thing that made me understand a couple of important things about art in general.
So, it boils to this: you have a list of verbal prompts, one per day, which you pick from many lists. Yes, there is an official Inktober challenge, set up by Jake Parker and normally available on Instagram and on its own website. Parker was part of an internet controversy, a couple of years ago, about having stolen the idea for an Inking Textbook from another very good artist, Alphonso Dunn; whether you choose to use Parker's prompts or entirely different ones, though, is entirely up to you. I have skipped them, back then, and then I started using them again a couple of years afterwards. They are handy, and you can use them without sponsoring Parker at all, if you feel like it (he has trademarked the Inktober brand for sketchbooks but you can't really trademark a challenge, so hashtags are still free to use).
List controversy aside, the fun thing is that it asks you to draw once per day, possibly with ink (but not solely, and rules are entirely up to you about the medium you want to use whether it is digital or traditional) for a total of 31 days, the whole month of October.
Back when I started, I didn't think myself capable of doing this until the end, and surely my skill was much lower than today. And yet, Inktober taught me many things:
stick to the plan, but if you skip a day, or multiple days, don't worry! Nobody is paying you for that, and there are many people who will keep drawing from the list well into November, but when you decide to draw for the day, put yourself into it - don't do it just because. Inktober is not about speed or skill, it's about challenging your brain and hand on interpretation and execution.
share your art. It is basic? Share it. It is made at the top of your abilities? Share it. People are insulting it? SHARE IT. You have to be able to disconnect emotionally from your art when it is done. You like it? Fine! You don't like it? Fine! I've made it. It is there. Do what you will with it. I have already accomplished my goal: the process.
It will be an occasion for you to learn. You never used ink? Try! You never used ink pens? Try! You never used an old brush with dried ink on it to create strange effects? TRY! Inktober might as well be about trying anything that crosses your mind. Also, you don't need expensive tools; a sheet of paper and a ballpoint pen can, and often will, be enough.
People mock you because you do Inktober or are stressed out because you post Inktober updates? That is a perfect time to remind them of the existence of the "unfollow" button. It does wonders with people who live in troll caves.
You feel like you need to vent? You feel like you're being left behind and stress because you think you will not complete it? First of all: VENT. Your blog / page / online space is yours and you should keep in mind that whatever you post has to do with YOU, not others. People may not like what you post, it's fine. They can unfollow, or start their personal rant in their online space about you - at the end, we are all passing by, if people want to live their life in anger or ranting about your art or your blog, it's their liver, not yours. No, that's not a typo: I'm actually referring to their liver, which probably will not be in very good conditions to start with.
People give you unsolicited advice or opinion on your art? Gracefully nod, and forget about it one fraction of a second later. When you will need advice, you will ask for it, and welcome it. My suggestion is you stick by that rule for pretty much everything in your life: you should be asking, that is of paramount importance, and learning how to ask something is at least as important, but nobody should force you into their opinion. TL;DR: fuck'em opinons.
Again: don't fall in love with your art. It's a piece of paper; you can burn it afterwards. You already possess that art within your hands. It is lost forever? It's ok. You have made it. It existed. You ceased caring about it as soon as it was on paper. Let it go. It is not yours anymore. Let people make what they will of it. You are already unto the next one.
So: I will partake in Inktober, and vent, and chat about it, and post art. I will also do this in our community, https://www.tumblr.com/communities/ars-gratia-artis , and for the time being, I will allow people who want to share their art, participate in the community and not be toxic about it, to join with a link. I would also very much love for community members to attempt Inktober, even with a little doodle whenever they are able. It's fun, I promise!
If you want to join our community, Inktober or not, here's the link:

with every step upon the pitch, he dances like a faerie with a playful purpose, enchanting all who cross his path with the beautiful ballet of ball and feet. the way he manoeuvres through the air and glides upon the ground with such a palpable energy is simply.. indescribable 🌟💝 there is nothing that can capture his essence quite as accurately as him being in his element, moving about the grassy plains of the field with such finesse and poise.. truly, meguru is the most magnificent soccer player out there, and that is something i can say without a shred of doubt. ( hashtag not biased 🙆♀️ )
he sees openings where others see none, transforming every game into his own stage. its like watching a magician pull rabbits out of a hat 🎩 🪄🐇— a spectacle not to be missed !! ✨ how he is able to command the field with just a flick of his ankle, sending the ball careening to the opponent's goal before anyone can even blink is ?!@£)&%*%>>$ he has such an impeccable eye for the ball, and the ability to use his body and technique in such an innovative manner is something that has drawn me to him for so long 😖..
its not just his prowess on the field that holds me captive; my infatuation runs far deeper. there’s a captivating allure that reaches beyond skill alone, drawing me to him in ways i can't fully comprehend.
stating that i am absolutely and wholeheartedly enamoured by his beautiful soul is an understatement ♥︎ his spirited personality, brimming with childlike wonder and contagious enthusiasm, leaves an indelible mark upon my heart.. he embraces games not with a drive to win, but for the sheer unbridled joy of being able to play.. 🥹
passion is what drives him to his full potential, and its the very thing that inspires him to grow and become better than the day before 🌱 being his number one supporter allows me to witness him becoming his truest self and shining his brightest. there is not a day where i will not feel proud of him and what he has accomplished ( and will continue to accomplish ), for his triumph is my own !! 🫂⚽️
words fail me when i try to express the depths of my gratitude and honor for being privy to witness the unfolding of his best self. i hope, more than anything, that he knows that the lengths i would go for him are boundless ♾️
navigating his past trauma, embracing his 'flaws', and making peace with who he is as a person has taught him that the beauty of life lies not in the endpoint, but in the journey he undertakes.. waaaah.. 😣 his strength of character is nothing short of awe-inspiring, like a lone oak tree weathered by countless storms, each tempest shaping its sturdy frame into a symbol of unyielding resilience... hhuuu 😖 i aspire to possess even a modicum 🤏of his courage and unwavering optimism 💘💘

( a feeling akin to being lost in a reverie of bliss ) ꒰ 𓏼 ◞ ̫ ◟♡ ꒱..
with eyes like golden pools of warmth and understanding, and a button nose that adds to his overall appeal, he possesses a charm that is undeniable. the silken, gently twirled tips of his hair frame his face perfectly, while his rosy lips always display a subtle curl, hinting at a plentiful sweetness within..
his features, from the moment we first locked gazes, have left me spellbound. his presence is magnetic, as if i could spend an eternity indulging in the glow of his captivating visage. each facet of his being, be it the pudge of his cheeks, or the dimple that appears when he smiles, enchants me all the more, binding me to him in a way i never thought possible.
his beauty isnt one-dimensional, but rather a mesmerizing tapestry of details, each aspect intertwining to create the perfect harmony of his being. to gaze upon him is to be transported to a world of enchantment, and i .. 🥹 count myself immensely privileged to be able to witness such unparalleled loveliness— to drink in his presence with a fervor that knows no bounds.
hehe (˶◜ᵕ◝˶) 💘💘.. finding a confidant, a best friend and a sweet, sweet love all in one person is something i once deemed impossible.. yet here i am !! 🥹 lady luck must truly be on my side 🍀✨ bachira coco is true and real !!

hmm.. his soft, warm hands and his soothing, tender touches will always leaves indelible imprints on my heart. his hugs are like the embrace of a sunbeam, and his kisses, like rich honey from a beehive, leave a sweetness upon my lips that lingers long after they have parted 🍯..

Nightshade Havens (Part 1)
If anything surprised us about the new Terrans, it's Nightshade's ability to create shelters in just one day.
The first shelter that we have been shown is the one under the barn.
Nightshade designed it due to the limited space in the barn. Although they didn't know the alternate modes of the other Terrans, he designed it so that they could all fit together.
Throughout the series, Nightshade improved the shelter to such an extent that it created an impenetrable fortress. Along with Hashtag skills, they managed to put cameras around the barn and shelter.
According to Nightshade, the shield only activates when GHOST approaches, since it is the only one that they considers dangerous, since when Tarantula approached it did not activate.
That shield probably didn't exist yet at the time they met Tarantula, or maybe they just put it up against GHOST since they reckons decepticons seek refuge as well.
When Bumblebee is outside, we can see that there is a camera outside the door as well as somewhere inside the barn. Telling us that Nightshade was very clever.
Another thing that was impressive was that they even have an escape route (which was not finished at the time). So my theory is that apart from serving as an escape from the barn, I designed more escape routes that take it to other shelters that I will explain at another time.

Two to Tango Challenge
Two to Tango is a Sims 4 legacy challenge for occult types. In this challenge your sims will be from different occult types, in pairs like merfolk and vampire, or werewolf and alien. The goal for this challenge is simple. Each generation the heir, or main sim, will be with an occult that is not their own. The first pairing is up to your own choosing as long as they are different from one another, but each generation will have different rules and things to complete. As humans count as occult types, there should be 15 different pairings when having all occult types in your game.
Pairings -
Human & Alien
Human & Vampire
Human & Werewolf
Human & Merfolk
Human & Spell caster
Alien & Vampire
Alien & Werewolf
Alien & Merfolk
Alien & Spell caster

Vampire & Merfolk
Vampire & Spell caster
Werewolf & Merfolk
Werewolf & Spell caster
Merfolk & Spell caster
Rules & Recommendations -
This challenge will have 10 generations.
Only opposites can be married, no same occult marriages.
If you pair a human and another occult together and your heir is human, you can have the heir become another occult through whatever transformation they have to go through. They cannot be married to a human before the occult change, from human to (insert other occult), as that would go against the rules of the challenge.
You cannot have duplicate generations, I.E. gen 1 is Vampire & Merfolk, gen 2 cannot be the same as gen 1. You shouldn’t duplicate a pairing unless you are doing the challenge twice or you don’t have all occult types.
Normal life span
Complete Career, aspiration, and skills that are given per generation
If the occult has an occult class, that needs to be completed as well
Each generation both parents will have a required career and aspiration. The choice of who gets what is up to the player
Traits and skills go to the heir of each generation
You can make your own story as you play
