Idea: the whole Fire Four are get off on the idea of being the inocent partner that is being obviously being cheated on by their partner but is too oblivious to notice. So, per example, Zuko is cheating on Mai with Azula, who is cheating on Zuko with Ty Lee, who is cheating on Azula with Mai. They are all aware about this web relationship and are cool with it, it just... never gets acknoledged? I really, really like it. There's something sooo hot about the idea of Mai being all hot and bothered over Azula and Zuko getting it on while she can't do anything but watch while being taunted by Azula.

Mai is the obvious superior choice in my mind since she already has interesting dynamics with both Zuko and Azula, the one with Zuko obviously being explicitly romantic already. Ty Lee is a close second because she was so close with Azula and seemed to want to have at least a friendship with Zuko - plus she's cute.

Suki and Toph would share the third spot because I love Toph's friendship with Zuko, and think there's some interesting parallels between her and Azula, and Suki's dynamic with Zuko was one of the few good things in the comics and she's also a leader in her own right, so another parallel with Azula (plus tension due to "stealing" Ty Lee).

I would say that I don't care about Jin in general, but I've seen too much awesome fanart of her getting it on with the Fire Siblings to not have a soft spot for the idea.

I can see Smellerbee at least bonding with Zuko, no idea how even a simple conversation would play out between her and Azula though. Yue being involved with either of them sounds equally crazy.

I adore the Zukaang friendship and I live for the gay jokes about Jet and Zuko, but the idea of either of them having a thing with Azula immediatelly disgusts me. Aang still has the advantage because I think he could be a really good friend to Azula too, and I heard too many dumbasses says "Why ship Zucest at all when Jetzula is right there?" to not have extra disgust towards that ship.

I hate literally every single Water Sibling X Fire Sibling ship, so Katara and Sokka are tied at the last spot.

So under my post about the ATLA comics today, someone tried to insist Azula was Zuko's abuser and thus the whole asylum nonsense was justified.

Of course they completely lost the argument and blocked me, which made me think this was the end of it.

It wasn't, they apparently decided to go cry to some third party blog who clearly has no clue what the discussion was even about and decided to make some failed attempt at a callout post from behind a block, leading us to this nonsense:

Notice how their supposed 'new argument'...Just isn't present in the screenshots? At all? And the irony of trying to frame that as an 'Azula stan' thing and 'in defense of Zuko'...When Zuko himself was the main guy to chase the Gaang around and try to murder them?

Only way this would make sense is if they were the Azula fan and it was the new argument they cooked up all alone in their head because it's clearly not in the screenshots where I'm talking.

But it continues.

And yes, basic soldier stuff isn't abuse, a military conflict between soldiers following orders and fighting for their respective sides in a war is a different situation from actual abuse from say a parent to their child. No, the Fire Nation was clearly the aggressor in the war, doesn't change that it's neither abuse nor a war crime for Azula to act as a soldier following the mission given to her by her head of state.

the biggest scam of all with the ao3 shit is people genuinely believing we NEED ao3 and ao3 alone.

the entire foundation ao3 is built on is one from past fic archives made to tailor to a certain demographic - harry potter fic authors were infamous for causing drama between fic archives, and this was only in the 90s/2000s. look at livejournal, ff.net, etc etc. ao3 has been lying to y'all for years into thinking there's no better options for storing and sharing fic. we can do better than ao3, and we have before.
