Draco banged on the mini-terrarium walls. “I’ll kill you!” he screamed. “I’LL KILL YOU!”

The glass cracked.

“Draco?” 

He turned.

Lush vines pushed at the fractures and broke them free in a wave of flowers—Harry’s magic.

He sobbed. “Y-You’re okay?”

Harry healed his hands, then kissed him. “I am now.”

The one direction reunion tour rumors have been very strong lately… this is making me go 👀👀👀

so this is probably a controversial opinion but… I hope it’ll be years - like a decade! - before any possibly 1D reunion happens whether it be new music or a tour (or both) or anything else music related. can’t say it’s something I’m actively hoping for rn. I’m really enjoying what louis is doing musically, where he’s taking his career. and I’m enjoying seeing him finally shine on his own so my hope is we’ll see many more albums and tours from him for years to come. sure, if 1D were to make music together again they might take their sound in a similar uhm.. direction haha - that I’d be more likely to enjoy but honestly I’m much more excited at the prospect of more solo music from louis..

also I really don’t see why any of them would want a reunion to happen in the near future they’re all out there doing their own thing and with great success too (okay I know liam’s not there atm but I hardly think a 1D reunion would help what he’s struggling with these days..) haha sorry but.. yeah that’s my UO 😅

a quick one shot in honour of jegulus day!!!!!! (i apologise in advance, i wrote this in like half an hour)

James couldn't tell you when he started noticing him; it seems like everywhere he went, he was met with green eyes and dark curls. Every time he saw the mystery boy he wanted to approach him, but every time he backed down, hoping to be at least a fleeting memory in the back of his head.

"I'm gonna talk to him, Remus, I swear this time I'm actually gonna do it," James said, hyping himself up with a variation of those same words he had said so many times before.

Remus just hummed, so used to that speech he could recite it in his sleep.

"Oh, I know, okay, I know. But this time I am gonna do it."

"Well, go ahead." James could hear the disbelief in his voice but it v he was actually, really this time gonna talk to his mystery boy.

Or wel... he was gonna try.

James walked towards the back of the classroom, towards him, at the last second, just like every time before that, he started to turn, then he heard a voice, the most angelic voice he'd ever heard.

"Go on, then. What do you want?" James couldn't believe that his mystery boy was talking to him, he stood there for what felt like hours (quite frankly, he would've believed you if you told him that he had, he could stare at those eyes all day long and not get tired).

"I'm sorry?" He finally managed to get the words out.

"What do you want? You've been walking to my seat the whole term and you back away every time. Why? What do you want?" Mystery boy said in a curt tone and, oh, it should not be as endearing as James finds it, but god help him, he wants to tattoo the sound of that voice on his brain.

"Oh, well. I- I just-" He stammered, why was forming coherent thoughts so hard all of the sudden?

"Spit it out, for fuck's sake. Who even are you?"

"I'm James" A grin on his face so big it wrinkled his eyes a bit.

"Okay, James. I'm gonna ask again. What. Do. You. Want."

"I guess- I mean, I guess I kinda just wanted to talk to you? I just, god, how do I say this without sounding like a total creep. I've just been noticing you everywhere I go, you're very ubiquitous, you know? So I just, I wanted to introduce myself and maybe get your number? I mean only if you want to of course, I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable or anything. Fucking hell, just stop talking, James. You know what? Forget it, this was a bad idea, I'm just gonna go," James was no stranger to word vomit, but this particular case had been one of his worst ones.

James once again started to turn when mystery boy stopped him, this time via a hand on his arm. James' gaze fixed on the touch, what he wouldn't give to feel it all the time.

"Now, was that so hard?" Mystery boy's voice softened ever so slightly and the tiniest smile posed on his lips.

"What?" How James managed to get even a single word out of his mouth is beyond him.

"I'm Regulus, by the way" His hand still firm on James' arm.

Regulus Regulus Regulus.

"Like the star, yeah? The heart of the lion," When Regulus' smile brightened, James had never been more grateful to have been obsessed with astronomy at 10 years old.

"Yeah, like the star, not many people know that" Regulus extended his free hand and when James gave him a puzzled look he simply rolled his eyes and said in an exasperated tone "Your phone, James, you wanted my number, right? Give me your phone."

"Oh, right, yeah," He reached into his back pocket and gave Regulus his phone.

Regulus removed his hand from James' arm (which made him frown a bit but it only made the other one chuckle) to type in his number and gave the phone back to James, he then placed his hand right back to where it was.

"Oi! James, let's go! We're gonna be late for Marlene's thing" Remus yelled from across the almost empty room which broke James out of a trance he hadn't realised he was in.

"Coming, mate, just give me a second!" James yelled back and then focused on Regulus once again. He almost went back into the spell that Regulus' eyes put him in when he spoke.

"You have to go, James"

"Yeah, I'll text you later?" James said, hopeful

"Sure, even if you don't I'm sure you'll find me. Ubiquitous you said?"

"Yeah, goodbye, Regulus"

"Bye, James"

And so it happened, James never thought he'd see the day when the sun and the heart of the lion aligned so perfectly, like they were made for each other.

I can't believe we're at a point where every single character is having trouble in their love lives, except for Lady Denham who is the happiest we've ever seen her.

• A Trump-appointed federal judge blocked Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan again after another judge reinstated it earlier this week. (10-3-24)

• Republicans and crazy Facebook uncles everywhere have spent this week spreading disinformation about the FEMA response to Hurricane Helene, including AI photos of Trump standing in floodwater and wild claims that Biden is sending money to undocumented immigrants. In reality, the Biden-Harris administration has provided substantial emergency assistance and both Biden and Harris have visited the region. Meanwhile, it turns out that Trump was the one who redirected money from disaster relief to send to ICE during his presidency. Shocker. (10-4-24)

• Seriously, though, Trump is not who you want to call in an emergency. Before allowing disaster relief to reach victims of wildfires in California, then-president Trump forced aides to show him an electoral map to see if he had voters there. He evidently intended to withhold the aid if he found out it was going to mostly Democratic voters. This would be a career-ending scandal in any other political era but alas, we are living in this one. (10-3-24)

• Finally, far-right extremist and Oklahoma superintendent of schools Ryan Walters intends to put Bibles in public schools, which is already disturbing, but in a stunning display of corruption, the only ones that meet his specifications are the so-called “Trump Bibles” that include the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. They go for $60 apiece and Trump gets fees from each one. (10-4-24)

No, wait, I’m going to say that one again:

In Oklahoma, taxpayers’ money will be used to put Trump Bibles in public schools. Their money will go directly to Trump. Not a joke!!! Not an exaggeration!!!

PART TWO

No matter where Charles went or what he did, one thing was constant - he simply could not stop talking about his girlfriend.

He was utterly smitten, and it showed through his words and massive smile every time her name came up. Fans quickly noticed Charles' habit of gushing over YN in interviews, on social media, with reporters, and even during casual interactions.

It became such a phenomenon that Formula 1 super-fans began compiling clips of Charles being a total simp for his girl into viral videos.

The most popular one was called "Charles Leclerc simping over his girlfriend: a compilation, and the 15-minute long video compiled some of the most hilarious, heartwarming, and over-the-top examples of the F1 star's borderline obsession with his girlfriend.

It opened with a clip from Charles' interview on Sky Sports before the Monaco Grand Prix. The reporter asked how special it was racing at his home circuit.

"It's amazing driving here where I grew up," Charles said with a huge smile. "But honestly, the best part is having my girlfriend YN here supporting me, this is already such a special race but having her here just adds another layer to it."

"Could you say that you have a good luck charm with you today?" the reporter asked again.

"Definitely, she's always my good luck charm."

The next clip was from Charles and Carlos' music challenge for Ferrari's YouTube channel, they had to guess the song that was playing with just a three second snippet.

"As it was, Harry Styles!" Charles said and rang the small bell that was placed in the middle of them as soon as he heard the first second of the intro.

"You've been practicing," Carlos stated as he pointed at him raising an eyebrow.

"I love this song," Charles said to the camera, "My girlfriend is obsessed with it, she plays it every day."

"And you talk about her every day," Carlos teased, elbowing him.

"I do, I do."

The video moved to show Charles with some fans, he was getting his luggage after a flight and they approached him asking for a picture, one of them filming the whole interaction.

"Of course, no problem at all," Charles replied warmly with a small smile on his face.

As he posed for a picture with the group, Charles noticed that one of the fans was wearing a Taylor Swift shirt. His eyes lit up with recognition and a smile spread across his face.

"I see you're a Taylor Swift fan," Charles remarked, pointing to the shirt. "My girlfriend loves Taylor too. She's always playing her songs around the house and talking about her."

"Wow, that's so cool!" the fan's eyes widened in surprise, "What's her favorite song?" they asked.

"I think her favorite is 'Love Story," Charles chuckled, "She says it reminds her of us."

"That's such a classic! Your girlfriend has great taste," the fan said.

"Thank you, I'll let her know you said that."

The next clip was from Charles' interview promoting his new ice cream brand called LEC, a reporter had asked him how did he come up with the creative names for each flavor.

"It was a teamwork between me and my girlfriend, actually," he replied with a smile, "She played a huge part on this project, everyone knows I could't had come up with Vanillove and Pistachi-on on my own."

The video then cut to a clip from the F1 Grill the Grid challenge, where drivers were playing 'Never Have I Ever", when asked "Have you ever missed a flight?", Charles immediately knew his answer."

"I have, more than once," he said, quickly adding, "But it wasn't my fault, my girlfriend has this long morning routine that she refuses to skip, even though she looks beautiful no matter what."

The video also included footage of Charles during a press conference before the Australia Grand Prix, a reporter asked him about his pre-race rituals.

"Well, I have a few things I like to do before getting into the car," Charles began. "But one thing that's become a bit of a tradition is a phone call with my girlfriend. No matter where we are in the world, we always find time to talk before the race if she's not there."

"What do you two usually talk about?"

"Oh, just the usual stuff," Charles replied with a grin. "She gives me some last-minute words of encouragement, tells me to be safe, that sort of thing. It's nice to hear her voice before such a big moment."

A clip form Charles' 'One week in Los Angeles' was also included, he was playing around at the basketball course shirtless.

"No way!" he said after he missed the basket again, "This is making me look really bad, I need to impress my girl."

The camera panned to her for a moment, and Charles sent a wink her way.

"Are you impressed, love? he asked, throwing the ball and missing once again.

"Very, but not by your basketball skills."

The compilation went on and on, clip after clip of Charles finding any opportunity to mention his girlfriend and proclaim his love for her. From the most casual conversations to the highest-pressure interviews, he just could not help himself from gushing.

As the video ended, the caption displayed: "Get yourself a man who loves you like Charles loves YN."
