I finally watched ppgw fully for the first time and omg NOW I understand max and sandra. they are adorable, they are my loves, they are my new otp and I will never ship vanessa and sandra again (a lie). but anyway. I get it now.

BOOK REVIEW: LOCKETS & LORE BY KIRA JANE HARPER

⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a novella in a mysterious series that follows Harper, a Seer, moving into her grandmother’s home and learning more about her past. In this shorter story, Harper receives a mysterious locket in the mail, unsure of the sender or its purpose.

To me, this was a great way to be dropped into Harper’s world. The story behind the locket and what it represents were interesting, but there’s the lingering feeling of concern, even after Harper solves the mystery. I will have to keep reading the series to find out if that concern from me is warranted, if a certain individual pops up at another point in the books. I think the locket will end up meaning more as I read the other books, because there’s just too much history there to ignore it moving forward.

inchresting 2 me that in harper's locket chris addresses getting "artistically sound" yet "personally abusive" complaints directed at specifically him for their last play (for performing his jamaican accent. wtf chris) in the beginning of the episode and in that same episode he plays arguably his most villainous role in the show. i mean it probably means nothing but What If right haha

see when i see chris or one of the other characters playing a villain i'm like "no yeah that makes sense they're actors they're meant to do that". when i see chris's father (who's probably Not an actor) playing a villain for his special one off role i have no choice to overthink it because oh my god that's so fascinating if you let it be
