It's very neat and tidy — what we'd probably expect from Rei, given his upbringing and background.

2) Kazuki's handwriting

I'm not an expert, but it looks pretty neat and legible! Perhaps his handwriting is a bit on the average side?

stress heat anon with another biology take: mammals either have an estrous cycle (heat) or a menstrual cycle. The reason humans don’t go into heat is because we have a menstrual cycle instead. Therefore if your omegas are only fertile during heat you don’t have to deal with the question of periods at all if you don’t want to. If your omegas have the combo estrous cycle but still fertile outside of heat thing going on they would probably have periods. But this is wolf people fanfic we’re talking about so you could just continue to ignore it like most fics do. No one ever thinks about the ovulation process 🙄*shrug emoji*

Hello, Anon, I accept the mission of presenting the thoughts!

I have mentioned this in a post before, but I actually enjoy including both menstrual and estrous cycles in my worldbuilding. For female omega's specifically, It's not an "always all the time" thing, sometimes I do go with the usual method of "ditch the periods", usually when I really just feel like I'm being too mean to the female omegas and should probably cut them some slack, but I also do enjoy using it as one of the distinguishing characteristics.

I made a chart at one point, I think it was a pen on paper chart. I'll make a quick replica of it in paint and throw it in here, it will be extremely janky.

It's not legible but I do think it gets the point across.

General apologies for the mess of a response to this one, the longer one will be better when i have the time to sit down with a proper keyboard.
