update
It's been a while since I've done one of these, but I haven't posted anything writing wise since last October, and I wanted to share what I went through since like May 2024. TLDR: traumatizing work shifts, job hunt, last minute stepping in for other people, bureaucratic nonsense, studying...
got posted to a hellhole of a work site for 3 months straight (I did ask to have all my mandated time there altogether so I'd never have to go back)
had to work 24 hr shifts, 3 in total before policy was thankfully changed. definitely was traumatized by the June 1 shift and I'm not kidding. it was literally a do or die moment.
then about a month later, another horrific event that was just a snowballing of disasters. back to back trauma that killed my muse for months.
started searching for a real job, stressful
scrambled together my research project, and the paperwork bureaucracy wanted to make me tear my eyes out
all the while, still working full time. side note: I feel like there was more nasty behavior this year? like bad interactions across the board
went to the annual retreat, realized at the last minute that none of the coordinators were in my half so I had to take the lead
landed a job and it's everything I wanted 😭
presented my research project
I took over planning for the end of the year ceremony, which was a success! wrote superlatives for everybody
more bureaucracy for new job stuff (done!)
more bureaucracy for leaving my old position (done!)
more bureaucracy for one of my multiple leftover projects (finally making progress though). will hopefully tackle the others later
currently studying for a 10 hr exam I take in a couple weeks
I'm actually close to being done with At Arm's Length Chapter 26, with 2 scenes left, but the exam comes first. If I don't pass, the retake is next year, so I'm locking in until then!

We’ve kept you waiting long enough - the mods of In Plain Sight are so excited to announce a 2025 digital PSYCHO-PASS fan zine!
In Plain Sight: A Psycho Pass Zine was conceived a few months ago when our fellow fans chose In Vogue (Fashion) as the theme they were most interested in. Since then, the mod team has come together and realized that this theme might be too limiting for fic writers. After picking each other’s brains, we’ve decided to combine the elements of fashion with one of our favorite themes: undercover!
Going undercover is a necessary part of police work, and holo-disguises have been a staple in Psycho-Pass throughout the series. What better way to see our favorite characters not only dressed differently (fashionably or otherwise!), and for writers to do their magic and weave some amazing stories in between!
This project will take the form of an online release (via tumblr, twitter and AO3) on October 11, 2025 and will be consolidated into a digital zine that will be available for free download at the end of the month.
For more information, schedules, and submission guidelines and requirements, check out our carrd!
Keep your eyes on our SNS accounts for further communication and keep your hues clear until next check in~!
#psycho pass#undercover is a nice theme!#gonna have to look at designs though since i'm not great at coming up with them on my own

I feel like a lot of people don’t quite get what a butler is. The role tends to get rounded off to ‘male servant’ pretty regularly in some media, whereas actually butlers are typically not just servants but chief servants. The butler was generally in charge of either all male servants or just all servants, period, in the household of an aristocrat or other very wealthy person. This meant that butlers have often been fairly powerful and influential people, and sometimes even had a manservant or two of their own.
(Also, fun fact: Mary Roberts Rinehart, the early 20th century mystery writer who is widely credited with popularizing the whole ‘the butler did it’ trope was nearly murdered by one of her own servants, a chef whom she had passed over for promotion to butler. He came at her with a pistol, but it jammed, allowing her chauffeur time to wrestle it away and restrain him.)

Liar Game Vol 19 Translation Chapter 203
Here's the post covering the extra scenes in the tankobon version of the final Liar Game chapter (203 in the tankobon, 201 in the magazine version)
Again apologies for the rough translation. And again, I didn't translate anything that appeared to be basically identical to the magazine version.
Link to 200-202 Translation
203 - Liar Game
The first several pages are the same as is in the magazine version. The extra content in the Tankobon picks up around page 18. During the conversation between Leronira and Rabelais regarding Yokoya after Leronira's "Depending on how you look at it, through this alone, he might have surpassed you, a person who has yet to suffer defeat in anything. Rabelais: Hmph… Rabelais: All of this, thanks to Kanzaki and Akiyama's presence in the game.
Rabelais: I'm grateful to you Leronira, as the ringleader behind pulling Akiyama into the game and none other than his former Professor Okabe. Leronira: !!!! You figured it out Rabelais: Of course. Who do you think I am? Leronira: I was always crushed that my brilliant protege had become a criminal. I thought…maybe participating in this game might change him. To be clear, I wasn't giving him any extra help. Rabelais: Hahaha, of course not. Rabelais: And? Has he changed? Leronira: Yes, without a doubt.
Artier: So that's it. The Liar Game is officially over.
Kashiki: We can go home Ikezawa: We…can really get back to our normal lives Cap & Beard: Yatta!
Nao: It's over….it's really over now. Akiyama: Oi What are you crying Nao: …because up until now….it's always been so difficult and scary Akiyama: It has been. You really tried your best out there. Akiyama: Today it's okay to cry as much as you need to. Nao: Thank you…Akiyama-san (This is where they hug and Nao cries on Akiyama's shoulder)
With that, the curtains on the Liar Game finally closed. And life returned to normal as though nothing had happened. Nao: What are we doing, dad? Papa Kanzaki: We're decluttering. I want to get rid of some of the stuff from when I was healthy that I don't need any more. Nao: Eh- It feels like you're getting ready to die. Papa Kanzaki: That wasn't my intention. I just don't want to look back on the past anymore. Papa Kanzaki: In order to use my remaining days meaningfully, I want to live my life looking forward. Nao: Sure. That makes sense. Papa Kanzaki: Even so, Nao, it seems like you've matured a lot in the past several months. Nao: Eh- Really? Papa Kanzaki: To be honest, I was always worried that you'd be alone after I died. The world is a lot dirtier and crueler than you'd think, and I wonder if you can make it alone in than environment. Papa Kanzaki: But it seems that was just my imagination. You really have become a splendid young woman. Nao: Hey, stop talking like everything will be okay if you die tomorrow. Something's off about you today, Dad. Papa Kanzaki: Hahaha. Really? Something's off? Papa Kanzaki (to himself): Oops, I need to throw this away quickly. (Cut to a panel with a box of trash with Altier's mask prominently peeking out)
Two weeks later… (Basically the same meet up with Fukunaga)
#liar game#now i have to reread because i missed the other plot twist#can't believe he was around the whole time
