Period. - 😥But if you really don’t want to count them or you’re in a position that it causes you more stress & anxiety than good, this list you might save. - 🥛CUT OUT CALORIE FILLED DRINKS When you take in a lot of liquid calories it can sabotage you. With just a couple drinks you could be taking in 300-800 extra calories—even ‘healthy’ ones. Just go to water or zero calorie options. - 📊DECREASE YOUR PORTION SIZE BY 25-50% Instead of eating a whole sandwich, eat half. Instead of using a bunch of salad dressing just dip your fork in it. But protein is key. Like massively successful. - 😊I love it when I see someone who’s made the decision to change their life & start their fitness journey but sooo many people shoot themselves in the foot with these ‘rookie mistakes’ & I don’t want to see that happen to you. - ❌Here’s your rookie mistakes that you should NOT do👇 - 🚫CUT OUT ALL CARBS & FATS This is usually the first go-to. I promise, your body needs both & neither inherently causes you to gain fat—eating too many TOTAL CALORIES does. - 🏎💨GO TOO INTENSE🏎💨 Consistency beats intensity every time. More is not always better. Focus on changing 1, *maybe* 2 things at once then stop & ride the progress. Think maintainable not as hard & fast as possible. - 🤢STARVE YOURSELF🤢 Do you need to eat a little less to lose? Yes. But if you eat too little (starve yourself) that won’t work either. Make a 10-15% deficit, that’s it. - 🏃TOO MUCH CARDIO🏃 Again, more isn’t always better. #Repost @realjaredhamilton (@get_repost) ・・・ ❓🤔 Regular or Diet Soda? 🤔❓ - 🧘‍♂️ Let’s all have a moment of silence before all of the butthurt comments come flying in. - 🥤 Here’s the deal with regular soda vs diet (or do you call it pop?): - 🙅‍♀️Neither are great for you. Neither diet or regular should be the majority of your liquid intake—that should be water💧. - 🤦‍♂️But 1 comment I hear more than any is, “I’d rather have real sugar over fake sugar & chemicals.” - 💉The sugar in regular is still extremely modified (even still, sugar is sugar whether ‘organic cane sugar or not) regardless of regular or diet they BOTH have artificial sweeteners & lots of chemicals. - 🤔The biggest thing diet has over regular is zero calories. Want the keys to losing the fat...for good? 🤓 - 💥How To Lose Fat!💥 - 🔥It’s important to know that all of these stages are important (especially the top 3). - 📊But specifically the order is important. - 🤔For example you could be taking in all the ‘quality’ organic food you want but if your calories are out of whack you won’t get the result you’re looking for. 🙈😭 - 😠Or if your timing is great but you aren’t eating any/enough protein that’s a problem. - 👇Let’s get into the stages👇 - 💥Stage 1: CALORIES💥 This one governs over everything else. If you’re trying to lose weight/fat you have to be in a deficit, no matter any other circumstances. It doesn’t matter if you’re organic, keto, IF, Atkins, low carb, whatever. Rule #1 is your calories have to be taken care of. (Deficit is the keyword to fat loss) - 💥Stage 2: QUALITY💥 Assuming you’ve passed stage 1,now we’re going to talk about the quality of the food. You want the majority of your food to be less processed, whole, ‘healthy’ foods- roughly 80% of your diet. The other 20% would be dang near anything your little heart desires! - 💥Stage 3: MACROS💥 This is where you want to make sure you have a high protein intake & where we might start talking about things like carb cycling, etc. But this doesn’t matter if the other 3 stages aren’t in full effect. You could have the best ratios in the world but it won’t help unless the other 2 stages have been passed. - 💥Stage 4: TIMING💥 For 95% of you the timing won’t matter. If you can nail the first 3 stages you’ll hit your goals. But the timing of your food is extremely relative to you & your goal. But most people shouldn’t be worrying about timing because it’s not going to matter unless all the other stages are in check. - ⁉️Any questions? 🔥READY TO EAT FITNESS FOOD🔥 ***No cooking required*** - 🤦🏻‍♀️The biggest (absolute biggest) reason I hear why people don't eat right for their fitness and fat loss goals is because it's not convenient for their lifestyle. - 🙋🏼‍♂️Because in all honesty, who wants to carry around a cooler everywhere they go, or has to worry about cooking or warming up food. - 📌In so many cases you want quick & easy food that needs zero preparation so you can literally just put it in your mouth. - 👇Well here's 6👇 - ✅CANNED CHICKEN/TUNA/JERKY For protein sources these are where it's at. Just pop open the container & eat. No cooking needed. - ✅RICE CAKES Want some carbs but don't have a microwave to make some rice? Rice cakes are a perfect go to. - ✅RAW FRUITS/VEGGIES So many fruits & veggies can just be eaten. Just find the ones you like & chow down. - ✅NUTS Nuts are another great option for being already good to eat. Just be carful because it doesn't take very many to shoot your calories through the roof. - ✅PROTEIN SHAKES/BARS These are super easy.
