Tri-state trilogy of terror is crazy if you over analyze it. Because—ok. You have this guy running a book-mobile and telling stories to people. His stories come from a book entitled Tri-state trilogy of terror and star the Phineas and Ferb characters which is already quite bizarre. Who is this guy? Where did he get these stories? Is he part of the PNF universe, did he write like��real person fanfiction about the kids?!! Or is he meant to exist outside of canon? Are Phineas and Ferb and Co. just book characters in his reality or something? Or does the show exist in his universe and he’s a fanfiction writer/horror fanatic? Why do the characters WITHIN the stories also have the book?? And what are the implications of Phineas technically telling the story of the Evil Platypus Clones? If Phineas told the story within the story, and he doesn’t know Perry is a secret agent, does that mean within the realm of the Evil Platypus Story he is NOT in fact a secret agent? Or is he because the story is still technically being told by the guy with the book?!! WHY IS ALEX HIRSCH A JUICE BOX

My belated 9-1-1 thoughts on the most recent episode, "Masks":

Tommy returns!!! (I adore him and Buck here, and I love 9-1-1 showing, once again, that he and Eddie are FRIENDS.)

Josh is secretly cosplaying Eddie, and no one on this earth will change my mind.

Loving everyone's costumes this episode. Hen is the hottest Tin Man I've ever seen.

Sweet Jesus, Buck. You can believe in the curse and still go to the doctor for, like, a cream or something, my God. Bobby, why are you letting him come to work without finding out if he's contagious?!

Look, I'm sorry, but as a shift worker myself, the solution is pretty clear here: instead of Chimney and Hen both nobly suffering together on Halloween, one gets the holiday off THIS year, and the other gets the holiday off NEXT year. This isn't that hard.

Holy shit, they really got me with that reveal on Denny. I really didn't expect him to be the one pinned by the car. Good stuff.

The teen girls might be super annoying in class, but they are in NO way responsible for that vice principal chasing after them and nearly killing a kid, and I dislike the implication that they are, even remotely.

Not enough eulogies include lines like "you tried to take out my arm, which was a dick move." Excellent.

First;

It's not even about this episode because the premise of the next one got me too much. A well, a kid trapped in a well and 118 being called. I need this to focus on Eddie's trauma and bring back memories for Buck about trying to dig through yards of mud to find his best friend. And I need something to happen to Eddie in this episode and for Chris to find out. Then I need someone to talk to Chris about the other time Eddie almost died but came back for him, the difference this time is that for Eddie Chris isn't waiting for him at home this time, so why should he fight to get back? I don't think Buck or anyone else has gone into depth with Chris about what happened to Eddie in season 3 during the well accident, so I need something to escalate. And maybe that will help more for Buddie, this trauma and thinking about losing Eddie again. All that accumulation of years of almost seeing Eddie die, you know.

Second;

Denny's actor (I don't know his name, unfortunately) is such a good actor that I really thought he would die, which doesn't make much sense considering it's the last season and they wouldn't do it right away when they would lose the chance to have a new one with the mourning, you know, but oh my god, the stress. Also in that, it wasn't what I expected when I said I wanted to see more of Eddie and Karen being besties, but hey, at least they appeared in a fair scene.

Third;

I loved how ridiculous it was that Buck thought he was cursed by Billy Bubbles. Tommy and Eddie getting together as friends and laughing at Buck? I thought it was so cute, he's literally Buck's first partner that Eddie doesn't totally hate, but during that graveyard scene (ignoring how hot they both were, Buck less because of, um, his face, you know, but anyway) and that moment when he looked at Tommy I could only think that it should be Eddie, and now I can only think about that graveyard scene from season 6 (I think she sees me).

Fourth;

Chim is such a cute dad, man, he's going to be Jee's biggest doormat and that's so cute.

Fifth;

this Halloween episode they killed it, my god, the music, the decorations, the setting, Dracula Bobby (and that kind of British accent? He learned it from Brad, duh).

Sixth;

the comparison of the first Halloween we had with Josh all dressed up as a pirate captain and now with a mustache, disappointing, but on the other hand we had Maddie with tiger ears as a reference.

Seventh; I'm not prepared for my reaction if Buddie isn't canon by the end of this season.

Eighth;

about the next episode, I need to see trauma (like I said) and I need it to focus on Eddie, because seriously? Confessions? Who else could it be besides the guilt-ridden Catholic character who has been suffering silently throughout the season and since forever?

Ninth;

oh my god, it's so cute that Tommy calls Buck baby and Buck calls him boyfriend. I love them.

It’s the start of the spooky season! Here are some fun little designs I came up with for a Costume Contest Episode/ Chapter for my suggestion Au.

Caine lets each of them come up with a costume idea and adventure of the day where their costume reflects the theme/ story of that adventure in some way.

Jax came up with a Werewolf Zombie, and it’s basically a giant game of tag but when you’re tagged you’re turned into another tagger. It’s timed and you have to survive one hour without being tagged.

Ragathas a mean Scarecrow witch. Using her wits, her game is to find or trap the others inside of a corner maze, with obstacles made of corn.

You can bet that she was targeting Jax for all those centipede ‘pranks’ he’s pulled.

Gravity Falls is such a weird little labour of love, but best of all it fully embraces the particular brand of weird found in the Pacific Northwest.

Northwest Mansion Noir (S2E10) may be the most distilled example of its take on the PNW Gothic ambiance (all of our threats, fears, elements of dark pasts and raw frontier terrors literally come alive and wreak havoc) and is certainly a new favorite in my Halloween episode rotation come October.

I'm pretty late to the GF party, but this show is worth watching if you (like me) were on the fence about it.
