I'm rewatching 9x10 when Steve gets attacked in his house and it's almost funny how Adam asks "Should I call Danny? Let him know what is going on"

And Steve replies "Please don't do that, ok?... If he hears this, he will be in the first plane back here and we don't need that"

Steve knows if Danny was there, his worrier husband wouldn't let him go to that almost suicidal mission with his SEAL buddies or Danny would make sure to go along 😭

Going to a fandom in AO3, reading stories from 2016 and backwards and finding the most amazing fics, yet the author of those fics is orphan_account, and you know they are from the same author, but you can't find a way to read all of their work because the account doesn't exist anymore.

i am not an authority on this since i have only been in the fandom 3+ years and i haven't seen anything like that in that time. alex and scott don't seem to have many shippable roles that i know of, except maybe alex from the back up plan and moonlight and scott from, idk, ocean's 11? i only saw alex in a handful of moonlight episodes back in like 2009 and that one episode of criminal minds and have never seen scott in anything else so i don't know of any shippable combinations of their characters.

Can you imagine, Buck and Tommy heading to Hawaii for just a romantic little vacation(or the honeymoon?!?), they're having lunch at a restaurant and just so happen to have one table separating them from Steve and Danny. Buck and Tommy are having a discussion of where to go next, begin a debate when stuck on which to go with and at the other table Steve can't help himself. "Steve don't-." Danny watches his husband with a shake of his head and disapproval, watching the man stand up and walk around to begin giving his own thoughts. Tommy is a little confused and hesitant with silence, but Buck is outgoing and begins to ask questions. Steve grabs a chair to sit down, and that's when Tommy scoots just a tad closer to his other half with an overprotective expression. Danny hears Steve and it's when his husband makes a ridiculous opinion, of course he has to go show these two men his husband isn't that bright. Danny walks over and grabs the other chair, pushing Steve aside to begin explaining that there is no way they should believe that hiking trail is the best. Danny says that's where Steve took him and Danny ended up tripping, almost rolling off a cliff, and Steve laughs to explain that it wasn't the trail, it was just Danno. McDanno begin the heated, louder debate back and forth and Tommy finally relaxes, able to see these two men definitely want each other(ohh the foursome one shot of smut that might exist one day). It's decided, Buck agrees they'll all four get together tomorrow morning and have a double date, slash tour of where to go.

Promo for the next: BAM!! Some dramatic incident has all four in a whirlwind of having to struggle to get back together with the love of their life, and some psycho wanting to separate them for their own gain.

so basically, at this point we have danny telling steve they should have gone with the gay thing, danny telling steve to pick a base, and danny telling steve the bed is totally big enough for two people, and steve continuously just going “??? but does he like-like me? i guess i’ll never know, it’s all so subtle”

Why McDanno from Hawaii 5-0 is an incredible and insane ship :

• Always calling each other babe (which yeah, for danny why not? He calls everyone babe (mostly Steve though)). But Steve he only calls Danny babe

• Constantly going on dates (like it's rarely justified as case related, sometimes the ep just starts and they're just hiking or fishing or whatever for no specific reason)

• The CONSTANT touching (I think there are multiple compilations on tumblr of just them touching each other, like them cuddling on the couch or Steve caressing Danny's neck, or Danny slapping Steve’s ass, or the regular bicep grab or torso slap)

• The I Love You's (which are only justified as platonic with I Love You, bro or I Love You man (sometimes not even that))

• The spanish "Te amo" instead of "Te quiero" translation

• "You're my Danno" (like what?)

• The whole fact that the show starts on the premis that 2.5 min after meeting Danny, Steve just changes his whole life trajectory and accepts to run a task force he didn't even want in the first place

• The usual "Basically raising a kid together" thing (Well 2 kids in their case)

• Steve mentioning that he loves Danny very much and is kind of married to him whilst he's on date with a woman

• The Carguments (they literally coined the term (I think?))

• The sharing organs thing (There was no hesitation just "here take a piece of my liver!")

• The Couple's Therapy (literal couple's therapy, Steve "misread" the pamphlet or whatever (which had a couple piggyback riding on it))

• The constant clocking of the characters ("are you talking to your wife"; "they in love again"; "I don't understand, I thought they weren't together?"; "How long have you two been married?"; "ok you two lovebirds" etc etc..)

• The buying a restaurant together (but it being a clear metaphor for marriage and the characters constantly comparing it to a marriage or referencing it like it's a marriage)

• The always entering each other's houses without knocking

• The eye fucking

• "I would have gone with the gay thing.. to you know keep our covers"

• "I'll give you a hug, I'll give you a kiss, pick a base"

• Steve caressing Danny's hand and arm

• "What are you wearing?" said over the phone

• Steve remembering exactly when they met to the minute

• Steve comparing himself to Danny's ex wife (After getting offended that Danny didn't consider him when making retirement plans because he just assumed it was agreed that they would spend the rest of their lives together)

From here on out, it's mostly the actors doing things, but..

• The almost kissing blooper

• The "You've got the best ass and it's hanging out of a truck" blooper

• The fact that the actors were both on board (if I was told correctly) but that the showrunner was an absolute dick
