More heat on his face. Perry averts his gaze, scuffing his toe – nope, it’s a shoe (ignoring that) – on the front porch. He’s just about to make his second escape attempt, but his and Stacy’s kerfuffle has given one of his family members enough time to answer the door. “Stacy!” The newly-identified Candace greets, “thank god you’re here – did you text me? Whatever, look, I’ve got a date with Jeremy tonight, but thanks to Phineas and Ferb I didn’t have time to actually pick out an outfit, and now we’re getting into the red zone in terms of – oh.” Perry sighs. “Who’s this?” Candace questions. Stacy doesn't respond. She looks at Perry expectedly.  Just for that moment, Perry hates her.  He sighs. “Hi, Candace…” Candace stares.  Candace takes a deep breath, turns around. Stares back into the house for what feels like an eternity. “Nope, nope. No, thanks. I've had enough —” she doesn't finish her first thought, whipping around with a hand against her forehead, “Okay, seriously, what the fuck? No, literally, what the fuck? Are you okay?? You're doing this to me on date night?” “I didn't do anything.” Perry crosses his arms over his chest with an eye roll.  Stacy snorts, “except, y'know. Getting hit with Doof's -inator.” “Semantics.” Perry grits.

Wow I don't even remember when the above sentence was written, but at the time I saw the episode, I didn't expect Perry actually do bring water to Doofenshmirtz and then they just missed each other......
