It's a hard pill to swallow, but more prominent #RepublicansForHarris endorsed #KamalaHarris and call Trump a #threat. Also #Trump casually #admitted that he #lost the 2020 #election!

Reminder to talk about palestine and congo and sudan not just online if you're not already doing that ! having face to face conversations about important events and topics in your daily interactions is very important. you don't know if the person in front of you knows what you know even if they're pro palestine and are watching the news and keeping up online, and so many people still don't know about congo or much about it and what to do to help. and a lot of people are still confused on what is going on in sudan and how did it start and why and how to help even tho they support the Sudanese people whole heartedly. so talk to the people that are around you so they can go and look more into it and they can learn from you. and don't underestimate your one person power because people change of course not all of them and sometimes you will get weird reactions ( and I encourage you if those people refuse to change if you can cut them off your life ) but don't let that discourage you because I myself have changed minds of so many people that are even double my age as a teen and now as a 22 year old and it honestly surprises me sometimes that they actually change and start asking me questions and recommendations to where to read and learn. Keep talking both online and face to face !

whoever wrote that anonymous gift fic for you is my idol i want to kiss their brain!
You and me BOTH!! For anyone that has not read this fic yet, please please PLEASE, I urge you to read it. Scotty and Josh training Daniel for double penetration. It's the hottest thing I've ever read — and the subtlety and nuance in characterization... insane. And I'm not saying this bc it was a bday gift to me and I'm biased.
I am a freelance freethought freerange chicken party.
I beg you all to read Climb your spine on ao3 dot com.
Summary:
Daniel’s fucked. He should have figured out a way to cut either Scotty or Josh loose an hour ago, so he could fool around with the other one. But he waited too long, indecisive, and now it’s too late.
Daniel’s family’s all out, so they have the whole house to themselves, but the three of them are squeezed onto one couch, close but not touching. The only light in the room is coming from the television, paused on the credits of the dumb action movie they finished an hour ago, washing them in grayscale. And in the semi-darkness, for some reason Scotty is telling them about this porn he watched where—
“No way,” Josh says, chuckling. “Like, people don’t really do that.”

"If enough of us vote third party for president, we could actually GET somewhere with our policy goals!"
Baby girl you can't even get a majority of third party/independents in a single state legislature. In the past 30 years there have been seven independent/third party state governors, and of those, only three were genuinely independent. The rest either got elected as a R/D and switched mid-term when they alienated themselves from their state party, got elected as I and then switched to R/D during their terms (with some of them having served the R/D parties before), or served as proxy candidates with heavy backing and support from one of the major two parties. Even VERMONT, a relative stronghold for independent/third party candidates -- the place that brought you Bernie Sanders -- doesn't have a majority of third party candidates. And when I call them a stronghold, I mean they are the only state (I know of) that consistently elects (less than a handful of) Independent candidates to the state legislature; the place is still dominated by Ds and Rs.
"The highest power in the land can't actually be voted on so there's no reason to vote for the democrats"
Hey princess here are some high school civics question for you: How are Supreme Court judges nominated? :) By what process are they appointed? Who starts that process? :) Why is the Supreme Court considered reflective of who has won the presidency? :)

people who say “the democrats should just focus on economics/policy” *glares at every centrist in my life who’s upset at the Democrats for being too “woke” and “allowing” Republicans to win* need to realize that statistically a lot of Dem policies are liked by about 2/3 of the country. Universal healthcare, free college, abortion, and helping undocumented immigrants gain citizenship for a few examples are supported by the majority of Americans. A refusal to vote blue is not about policy at all. Never has been.
it's the raaaaaaaaaacism

22/44 assassination plots were against democratic presidents.
Note: It was FDR’s 1932 campaign policies that caused a major shift in party ideologies. Prior to this election, Republican and Democratic conservatism was broadly flipped. Their parties are left black to reflect my inability to equate their affiliation to a modern party.
