Okay, Okay, does anybody realize the possibilities with Yussa Errenis missing? The damn three demi gods are released, Trent was released, shit all over Exandria is being released. There is NOTHING keeping Halas in that gem! Here I thought it was bad that Luda's old ass is around and causing problems, but Halas' old ass is worse all over. Mind, he probably doesn't want Yussa's aging body and Caleb would be a maybe. How lucky Halas is that they have a young elf friend and a wonderful spell to make him look however he wants.

EverQuest Starting Points - Getting Out of Halas

I actually do not have anything bad to say about Halas.  As a starting town it is compact, which can be a boon, but also has about all you need to get yourself going. Welcome to Halas It isn’t as full of options as starting in Qeynos… and nowhere near Freeport… but it has a bank… or a banker at least, there being no room for a full fledge counting house when you have to get a cigar shop, an ale…

It reminded me of a segment in the campaign 2 wrap-up when discussing Halas and how he got himself trapped in the soul jar and Matt said: "When you're a creature that powerful, sometimes the simplest things get overlooked."

I believe (or hope) that this will be somewhat the key to defeating Ludinus. I believe Ludinus' arrogance with his intelligence will be his own downfall. He's going to overlook the small simple details and rely on Otohan or Liliana with the wrong things, blindly trusting them that they will have his back. But with just one good persuasion roll from our heroes, perhaps from daughter to mother, is going to turn the winds against him.
