Okay well I won't write an essay, yet (still think what id write would be too depressing even for my usual bullshit) but;

the way Rogue Trader and Blooborne are similar is the inherent hopelessness so prevalent in each universe as well as this message of "you mean nothing, you are a cog, whether it's you or someone else this was always meant to play out this way and you as a person will never be able to change the outcome no matter how hard you try" aka you think you are on top and that what happens is indeed your choice but everything was set in motion and strictly controlled by someone else and no matter where you are and at what time you have always simply been a pawn and never truly a player, as well as the general focus on nuance. There's no right or wrong, nor black and white. There's just a vast, cold, barren grey landscape that you can try to colour here and there but the greyness will remain and the blots of ink you've left behind will be overwritten.
