Hello everyone! Hope you're all doing well! So... I'm posting this to say a few things...

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for your patience because I finally got chapter 8 of the Hanahaki fic out... FINALLY... AFTER SO LONG... I'm so sorry for the wait, and I hope everyone enjoys!! I honestly still can't believe I finally got the chapter out... I'm sorry I haven't replied to the comments yet, but I'm hoping I can do that soon...

Secondly, I'm going to cover my update schedule. Since uni is starting soon (September 1st... very soon), I don't know how busy I'm going to be, but judging from the schedule we received... Yeah I'm going to be busy </3 I don't think I can stick to a proper schedule, but I'm planning to update my 2 long fics alternately (is that the right word... Sorry I'm kind of drunk from eating too much jackfruit right now...) so I'll be working on chapter 2 of the 5+1 fic next, and then I'll work on chapter 9 of the Hanahaki fic, and so on. I may also slip in a few one shots here and there when I get random bursts of ideas. Updates might come slower from now on, and I'm really sorry about that... Thank you for your patience, and hopefully I won't make you wait too long! I'm not going to take another one of those brainrot ban breaks though, because we all know how that went the last time I attempted it....... distance makes the heart grow fonder?

AH YEAH BEFORE I FORGET... so I said before that I'll be updating my fic rec list once the TreyJade tag reached 400 fics (!!!!! IT STILL MAKES ME SO INSANE THAT WE FINALLY REACHED THIS GOAL GUYS... Everyone's works in the tag are so good I love them all) and I swear I'll do it soon... I haven't caught up on some fics yet so I'll be doing that ASAP! I don't have much time left though so I'll try my best to catch up before uni starts KAKDKSK

  Summary:

Trey Clover was a study in controlled contradictions. He projected an image of steadfast normalcy, yet possessed a sharp, observant mind and, apparently, a history with rogue sourdough. He adhered to rules yet seemed quietly accepting of nature's (and perhaps Jade's) inherent unpredictability.

It made him difficult to read, difficult to predict fully. And Jade found that... intriguing.

His train of thought was cut short by the tickling sensation that resurfaced deep in his throat. Another dry, persistent itch, almost like breathing in fine dust. He cleared his throat quietly, then again, trying to dislodge the irritation. It remained, a low-level annoyance distracting him from the intricate lines before him. Jade reached for his water bottle, taking a slow sip. The coolness soothed his throat momentarily, but the itch returned almost immediately.

Strange. He rarely experienced such things.

  or, Jade is obliviously in love. Violets begin to claw their way up his throat, whispering Trey's name with every petal.

ok this isn't a twst question but kind of a counting question

I keep seeing that jamil was literally born to serve kalim and that's why kalim is older

and yeah sure that'd be crazy if it were true but it's not. but they just show me the wiki birthday list like it's some kind of "gotcha" even if I show them yana-sensei's tweet saying jamil is older and I'm like, how do I even explain counting to these people if they want to believe a thing so bad that they don't care if it's not true?

Character ages have come up a little before (re: Who is the youngest of the first years?), but maybe a graphic would be easier to understand? :>

For the main story timeline part for some books we have confirmed timing and for some we do not (the VDC of Book 5 being in mid-February is confirmed, but Book 3 is on "the last day of final exams" with no confirmed date), so there is some general estimation happening there for the sake of providing a visual reference.

Here are some screenshots tracking the progression of time in the game!

Book 1: September (start of the school year) Book 2: October Book 3: Date Unspecified (final exams) Book 4: Date Unspecified (last day of the fall semester to January) Book 5: January to mid-February Book 6: February Book 7: March to May

A screenshot would be a spoiler, but it has been confirmed in the original game that Book 7 ends in May :>

Characters who have yet to have a birthday are Deuce (16), Kalim (17), Leona (20) and Riddle (17), (plus Ortho but he is a special case), meaning that they are the only characters (as of Book 7) who are the same age as is listed in their profiles: the youngest in their year (and Leona 🦁)

I've heard recently that MS Paint has layers now and I had to try it out & since it's my birthday today, I decided to create a look for Jade which fits my vibes without putting him in a pink glittery dress with huge bows and frills haha KHSHSHSJSJ
