Hmm, I've been wondering lately if I'm some sort of avian/flighted creature.

I've always had an attachment to wings or creatures that have them, and ever since I was a child I wished I had wings.

Though when I think about any kinds of birds, it just doesn't seem right? I'm not attached to any specific kinds of birds, or birds in general. I don't feel anything when looking at them or any sort of general attachment. None of them have that "oh, that's me" feeling.

So, I started looking at more fantastical or mythical creatures, and I found some that could be likely. I'm not fully sure, though. I've always loved dragons and griffins growing up, and always felt a certain attachment to them. I've always wanted to be both of them, and I feel like that might tie into the whole wings/avian thing?

The only type of dragon I really feel connected to is a Night Fury, traditional western and eastern dragons don't feel very connected to me, and neither do any of the other dragons from the httyd franchise. Still not completely sure, I'll have to explore it more.

I had another dragon dream. It was about as silly as the last one. A trio of dragons went on an adventure. The leader was a female named Cavalier. They ended up in Quahog where Peter Griffin jumped onto Cavalier's back to try to ride her. She violently bucked him on. Peter's body was mangled on impact with the sidewalk, but he laughed and said "worth it." Then the three dragons had dinner with the Griffin Family.

recently I was able to connect the dots on what I am, a Griffin otherkin!!

Because I always thought I was a bird and a cat or a dog

But then it just wasn't clicking? If that makes sense it's that feeling when you know your close... But it's not quite right!

Like when I used he/him pronouns for a long time till I found xe/xim and went "ah I was close but thats much better"

Still kinda playing with dog hearted as I still feel like a hurt dog but I have a feeling that it might be more of a trauma thing

But Griffin's fit my phantom limbs, instincts and how I see myself!!
