BC’s first budget under Premier David Eby includes substantial funding increases in housing, health care, income supports and cost of living tax credits, as well as allocating a record level of investment towards capital infrastructure. This not only represents much-needed progress towards meeting some of the big challenges facing our province but also prudently continues to invest in the public good rather than cave to fear-mongering about deficits in light of the economic slowdown.

The budget projects modest deficits over the next three years: $4.2 billion in 2023/24 and $3.8 billion and $3 billion in the subsequent two years. While these numbers may sound big, they represent about 1% of the provincial economy (or GDP) in 2023/24 and slightly less thereafter.

this is making me feel so warm & soft bc you’re so right anon… i think one of his biggest love languages is acts of services and that includes making meals for his beloved! i think if you two live together then he’s absolutely perfected his recipes for your favorite meals, and if you don’t live together then TRUST that he’s toiled away in the kitchen with a stained apron, hair pulled back with wild pieces covering his face, and a small smile after he’s tasted his meal cooked with love (he can’t wait to cook your meal and casually bring it over one day — a small smirk on his face as he says “it was nothing!”)

i think food is one of his biggest love languages :’) he wants you to eat well and bonus points if he can feed you with all the love too :’) if he fusses over you please let him, he just loves you so much & you’re too adorable 🙂‍↕️ and if you want to learn how to cook/already know, then suguru’s favorite activity/pastime is cooking with you :’) it’s very intimate and sweet, love belongs in the kitchen!

With the DC crossover announced and the images released, I figured that since most of the sonic cast are technically teens(??) it would be cool to see them as the teen heroes, too!! Here's Sonic as Impulse, Knuckles as Superboy, Amy as Wonder Girl, Tails as Robin, and Shadow as the blue Black Beetle!

Bonus shadow with black doom bc i loved how the doodle turned out :) he's essentially the stand-in for the scarab Khaji Da

I do love shadow as batman, but i figured blue beetle was a good fit, what with the alien stuff and his new doom powers in the upcoming game that give him wings and transformation abilities

My post about Aegon got deleted off the main subreddit with the explanation of it being a “repost” (it was definitely not) and now there is a post about all the things Rhaenyra’s lost and it is definitely a repost.

Look I don’t want for Rhaenyra’s pain to be minimized and vilified but it’s the double standard of those mods that gets me.

3 crab pot!

This was one of my very first wheel-thrown objects, so the cylinder is more than a little amateurish, and also it got dinged up because I wasn't careful with my tools around it while it was wet. HOWEVER. I took a look at all the little scuffs and dings and went "I could blame this on animals!"

so I made some crabs and gave 'em little footprints all over.

There are still people willing to argue that working from home is more or less as expensive as going to the office every day because you would spend on electricity, water, toilet paper, etc. what you don't spend on gasoline.

Like... have you seen the price of gasoline? At least in Spain I spend on supplies and services for the house not even a quarter of what it costs me to go to work one month, 40 km a day round trip (plus car maintenance, insurance and taxes).

I mean, yeah, working from home costs me money, but I even save money on CLOTHES since I can work in my freaking underwear. Maybe it's just me and my privilege, me and my preference, and that doesn't invalidate theirs, but from my point of view... it's just nonsensical for jobs that can be done from home.
