Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats Ingredients: Overnight Oats: 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt 3 oz cream cheese, softened 1 cup almond milk 2 tbsp pure maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup old-fashioned oats 1 tbsp chia seeds 1/2 cup strawberries, diced Pinch of salt Strawberry Reduction: 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped 1 tbsp pure maple syrup Directions: In a large bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, almond milk, pure maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the oats, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined. Gently fold in the diced strawberries. Transfer the oat mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate overnight. For the strawberry reduction, add the chopped strawberries and maple syrup to a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the strawberries soften, then mash them with a spoon and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes. Remove from heat. In the morning, serve the overnight oats with the strawberry reduction either mixed in or drizzled on top. Enjoy! Also grateful for being able to get an undercover English cucumber for $.98 @libertecanada Greek yoghurt on sale half price; Selection quick oats 1 kg bag for $2.49; @foodbasicson I picked up the garlic powder at Dollarama for one dollar, but I Wish I had waited until I went to Food basics because they had garlic powder for $.99. True it’s only a penny less, but a penny means a lot when you’re penniless! Getting ready to make tzatziki oats tzatziki oats recipe Ingredients – 1/4 cup Greek yogurt – 1/4 cup Quick oats – 1/2 cup minced English cucumber – 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder Method Muddle together the garlic powder and cucumber. Set aside to steep. Mix the oats and Greek yoghurt together. Pour the cucumber mixture into the oats and Greek yogurt. Set aside for at least 30 minutes to let the flavours blend. Enjoy! Yes I know you don’t usually make tzatziki with oats, but oats are great extender and they add protein and are filling.
