Sketchis from March till now :)
first picture of some sketch from March
first is Bedivere attacking Percival from behind, he loves to play fight with him a lot on the right is Bedivere sipping his first beer with his master Nanashi; he is not sure if he already likes it XD and on the bottom are Lilia and Belte, she made an apple cake for him (his ears look so cute here x3
second picture I was a bit sick the past days and drunk lots of tea in our new tea pot, and well it's half glass(like Mordred's here) so why not doodling it as a fortune telling cristall Hellen thinks he had way to much tea.... the thing on the right is his sacret treasure alias a demon from the purgatory on the bottom left is Lohengrin escaping into the wild, while Percival tries to 'tame' his daughter well, she is a wild child like her mother.. on the right is King taking care of sick Myrtle,( poor baby, I love him so )
third picture this shows the first chapter I wrote of my next-gen-au Eight Guards of the Abyss The chapter will be shown in Arc3 but it was the first I wrote back then. Well it shows the enemy kidnapping little Mordred right infront of Arthur (I doodled him twice with beared and without what do you say?
I like both, the second makes him look even older, but I'l stick with the one aboth for the story I think Well, why the bottom left Arthur lays on the ground is, because of Mordred's powerfull magic,it let other be catched in his world(like Gowther) the woman, who's name will be shown soon*,gave him a drug to see what magic he owns. The drug powers up magic.
she was quite surprised that even Arthur was caught into it. but well he had a weak moment
I'll try publishing all week again :) for now at last. the pictures could be quite complicated to draw for Arc3
Wel I hope you enjoy my story so far x) I do enjoy writing+illustrating it I always wanted this and now I'm happy that I can do so

They're fighting Hendrickson, and he's so close, so close to finishing it, to keeping his people safe in the seal. But then Gowther's head gets chopped off and, even though he, logically, knows the doll will be fine, his first instinct is to rush to his injured packmate.
The split second is all Not-Hendrickson needs to drop the rag soaked with Elizabeth's blood onto the stone seal in the middle of the field. The ensuing burst of magic knocked everyone on their asses and, coupled with his MINIMUM three broken ribs, the breath was quite thoroughly knocked out of him. When the blinding light cleared, there was a tight huddle of Demons, all radiating powerful auras, strong enough to make them cringe away in fear.
One, after stroking his hands over the heads of two little girls, turned around with black eyes. Gilthunder was closest, and just barely managing to rise up on shaky legs. The Demon strode forward and grabbed the rim of his armor, the metal bending around his fingers as if he'd grabbed a cotton shirt instead, lifting him the rest of the way up, but not releasing him. "How many years has it been, human?" Gilthunder didn't respond, still breathless. "How long have we been sealed, how long has it been?? Answer m‐!"
Meliodas had gathered his strength, and zipped over silently, wrapping a gentle hand around his brothers wrist. Zeldris gaped at him, his fingers going lax and Gilthunder dropped to the ground with a thud and a grunt.
"...Mel-"
"Three thousand." He said quietly, though it was still audible in the silent field. He rubbed his thumb gently over his pulse point, the familiar seven point flutter making his chest swell a little. "It's been 3000 years. 3027, actually. I did my best to keep count."
Zeldris stared at him, almost uncomprehending for a moment as that sunk in. But... no, he still looked the same, but-
"I thought you were dead." He finally managed to choke out, tearing up. "I thought- Meli, we found your body, and- and your mates, we- that's why Gloxinia and Drole came along, t-to make sure your goals came to be, how- the gods killed you two, I don't- I don't understand-?"
"A long and complicated story I'll give to you all later, I promise. I'm alive, but right n- ow-??"
Zeldris hugged him, wrapping his arms around his waist and pulling close. "I missed you!" He choked. "We all- we all missed you-!"
"Mama!!" Meliodas barely managed to get an arm open in time as two bundles of warmth rammed into his side. He winced a little as his ribs creaked and every injury over his body screamed in pain, but honestly, he didn't give a fuck.
He didn't care, not even as their momentum sent him to the ground. He didn't care as he squeezed them all as close as his could, even when the ache became unbearable. He didn't care as the other Commandments piled in on top of him, and for the first time in centuries, MILLENIA, he was surrounded by the complete feeling of pack that no bond outside of Demons could replicate. He loved the sins with all his heart, and his instincts considered them his pack, but they didn't HAVE those instincts, so it simply wasn't the same. But this, THIS was pack.
They finally started to ease off, and Derieri punched his shoulder with a grin, her typical greeting. She wasn't expecting him to wince, a hand getting halfway up before he very deliberately let it fall.
Galand frowned. "You're hurt, aren't you?"
"Well, yes, but not fatally. I'll be fine, I promise."
Tears started to Well up in his daughter's eyes. Ever since Viatrix had been killed, they'd been especially sensitive to any of their pack being hurt or sick. He cooed and gathered them up in his arms. "Hey, it's alright, I'm ok, I promise. A few broken ribs, bruises, some cuts, uh... I think my leg is broken. Nothing I haven't faced before."
"Mel, you fuc-"
"Children ears!"
"Gr- you fricking idiot, not being fatal doesn't mean not being HURT, we've HAD this discussion!"
"And I have had three millenia to UNLEARN it." He said with a bright smile. "Guess you'll just have to pound it back into me, little brother."
He snorted and shuffled closer on his knees, reaching forward to tug a strand of his hair. "You bet I will, you stubborn prick."
"Mama?" Vixzira asked quietly, getting his attention. He looked down. "Hm? What's up, baby?"
"Where's Lil Sis? Is she- its been 3000 years, but you're-?"
"Your little sister is all grown up. But she figured out how to put a pause on her aging. So she's still around."
They both lit up, and Volenta spoke. "Where is she, Mama? Where's Mer??"
"Here. I'm here."
Merlin, having appeared in mid air, as she does, gently touched down to the Earth. Vixzira and Volenta stared at her for a moment, gaping, before scrambling off their Mama (Meliodas, having the breath knocked out of him all over again by their little feet driving into his stomach and his poor sensitive dick, groaned and keeled over into the dirt. Zeldris just raised an eyebrow and patted his shoulder.) And running over to Merlin, clinging to her legs and rambling about how much they had missed her and how unfair it was that she was so much taller than them now, and how she was so pretty.
"Wait, hold on-" Ban started, finally having regenerated enough to sit up, despite the gaping hole in his chest still steaming. "If those two are the CAPTAIN'S kids, and Merlin is their sister-?" He looked horribly baffled. "Does that make her his daughter??"
Meliodas blinked, having been helped upright by the others. "Uh, yeah, Merlin's my youngest."
"What the Hell???"
"...So the whole demon thing and happy reunion didn't freak you out, but Merlin being my kid DOES?"
"Y E S!!!"
Meliodas stared for another moment, before putting a hand against his forehead and laughing. "Ban, I love you, but you're so fucking weird."
"Listen man, I already knew the Demon part thanks to that little conversation with the Vixzira kid, but-"
"Vixzira??" Volenta and Viatrix yelped in sync.
"You talked to Vixzira-"
"That means-?"
"She's alive?!?"
"Where is she-"
"Where's our third-"
"Mama, where's Vixzira, tell us!!"
He raised his hands. "Hey, hold on!" You'd think he'd be smiling at such a display, but no, he just looked incredibly sad. "Vixzira is-... we went to the necropolis. Found her there. Well, she kinda found me. I'm sorry, girls. Your triplet is still-" He choked a little and looked to the side, his hands falling back into his lap as he swallowed the lump in his throat. "She's doing OK, I think. Told me to tell you all hello, and that she loved, and missed you, if I ever got the chance."
They drooped, hopes crushed, and Merlin knelt down, pulling them to her sides in a rare show of affection. "Hey, I'm still here, right? And Mama is too, and now the whole pack is out. We'll take you all to the home Mama and I worked on. He spent centuries carving out an entire kingdom inside the mountains, just for the clan!"
Their eyes widened a little, and looked over at him. "Really?"
He sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. "Uh, yeah. It's bug enough for everyone times 2, easily. I've had... quite a bit of time to kill. It'll be safe there."
"H-Hold on!" Gilthunder finally, FINALLY managed to speak up. "Whats- I don't understand, I- who- huh??"
Mel blinked. "Oh. Right. You don't know I'm a demon like my team does."
"You're a- ah???"
"Yes."
He saw at least one holy knight in crowd keel over backwards, out cold.
It makes sense that they would react like that, giventhat Meliodas has never shown his demonic ability to the Holy Knights.

Melizabeth Week, Day Two: Heaven/Hell - Heaven
Fair warning, this is an old one I wrote but never published. I wasn't sure what else to do for it. Also, I apologize in advance for any grammar mistakes.
A bit of OOC with Ludociel
_-_-_-_-_
"So where should we go first? Now that we're free from the curse. We agreed we'd travel, right? Sooo.... Any ideas?" Meliodas asked, leaning back against Elizabeth. His eyes were closed in bliss as he lay cradled in her arms, back to chest. She was leaning against the headboard on their bed. "Hm… Well, we could return to the celestial village? I've got my memories back now, and… well, that's the closest place to the goddess realm I can get. I'd like to visit. Fly around a land above the clouds once more."
He hummed and turned his head, nuzzling into her collarbone gently. "Sounds good to me. Should we invite any of the others?" Her eyes lit up. "That's a splendid idea! I'm sure Mael would like to visit a place like that too! Zeldris and Gelda as well!" She giggled. "We can invite the rest of the sins, but to be honest? I think they're pretty occupied."
True to her prediction, the sins all declined this time round, citing… alone time. (For Merlin and Gowther, that was literal. They just wanted to be left alone for awhile.) Mael was eager to come, for the same reasons Elizabeth had listed. Zeldris was reluctant, but Gelda convinced him, saying it'd be good for him and Meliodas to spend some quality time together, and she wished to discuss more with Elizabeth.
By the time the group of five had arrived, the sun was almost rising. "Oh, the spring is refilled! Good, that's convenient! We could have flown, but it would’ve been irritating." Meliodas said. He leaned down by the water and tapped it gently, channeling his energy into opening the portal. An extra burst of goddess magic from Elizabeth by his side, and the familiar glow lit up the pool. He grinned and stood, looking to the other couple. "Zeldris, Gelda. After you."
The black haired demon sighed. "Why do I feel like this is a bad idea?" The blonde smirked. "Because it probably is. Have fun!"
"...why do I ever trust you?" He grumbled, but dove into the pool anyways, quickly followed by Gelda. Elizabeth smiled at Mael. "You next." He nodded and went without complaint. Elizabeth after him, and Meliodas last, closing the portal behind him.
_-_-_-_-_
Zeldris blinked, adjusting the sudden darkness of the cave as Gelda broke the surface besides him. He swam out and pulled her with him. "Might as well take a look around. They'll be a minute." She nodded and the two walked out of the cave, into the sunlight.
He almost gasped. The view was incredible. It was stifled though, when he felt a presence of light flying towards him. He was immediately on the defensive and enabled his hellfire with a snarl, whirling around to face the potential threat.
Goddesses!
Wait… no. These didn't feel like Goddesses. Similar, but off. That's right, they're celestials. Apparently, descended from the heavenly beings who'd once been his mortal enemies. It was hard to remember that now, sometimes. That the war was over, and he had FRIENDS from the other side.
He held his hands up. "Wait, please, I mean you no harm, I swear it!" The bearded man holding a familiar feathered sword scowled. "Like we would believe you, demon! There's only one demon we've ever trusted, and that's not you!"
Zeldris tried to speak, to explain that he was pretty sure he knew exactly who they were talking about, and that they had nothing to fear from him. “You mean Meliodas, right? I’m-” Before he could complete his sentence, however, the man held the sword up near his throat threateningly. "No lies will spill from your throat before blood, demon scum." Gelda snarled. "How DARE you threaten my husband, you IMPUDENT prick-"
"I am only defending my home from the likes of creatures like you!"
"Remove the sword from my husband's neck!"
"Absolutely not! Either of you make a move, and I slit his throat!"
"MELIODAS IS MY BROTHER!!!"
The man froze and stared at him, before scowling suddenly. "You lying scum-"
"Hey, hey, hey! How about we all calm down, now!" Mael said, emerging from the cave entrance, arms raised placatingly. "There's no need for figh…ting… is that my sword??" He gaped at it. "I haven't seen that thing in 3000 years! This is where it's been the whole time??"
The Celestials didn't say a word, too stunned at the sudden appearance of a GODDESS, when they were supposed to be wiped out. And not only a goddess, but apparently the first wielder of their most sacred sword. He shook his head. "Um, well anyways. My names Mael, I'm one of the four archangels. That's Zeldris and Gelda. They're not gonna hurt you, the five of us just came for for visit."
"Five? Where's the other two?" By now a small crowd had gathered. The trio blinked as a small blonde man, looking eerily like Meliodas, were it not for the wings on his back, walked forwards. A woman looking near identical to Elizabeth by his side. Mael blinked and smiled. "I'd think they were right in front of me, if I didn't know any better, but they should be here in just a moment. They came through the portal last."
The two exchanged looks. Did he mean…? "Yo, Solaad!" Sure enough, the blonde demon who'd saved them during the time of ruin came up through the cave. "Why are you all terrorizing Zelly?" (A scowl at the nickname was directed at him, but he just smirked at the younger.) "He won't hurt anyone, I promise."
"Hello, Elatte. And everyone else too! It has been quite a long while, hasn't it?" Elizabeth spoke, walking up behind Meliodas with her wings folded neatly against her back.
…wait.
Wings??
"Meliodas? E-Elizabeth? Since when did you get WINGS??" Solaad asked. Elatte glanced at the older man. "Sir Zoria, please drop the sword, Meliodas himself said that this man means no harm."
Elizabeth gave a soft smile. "It's complicated. I've always had them, in a way, as I was born a goddess in my first life. But I was cursed by the demon king to reincarnate as a human for the rest of time, and if I should ever get my memories back, I would die in three days." She fluttered her wings gently. "We managed to break the curse, after 3000 years and 107 lifetimes."
"...who's 'we?' And why did the demon king curse you, what did you DO??" Zoria asked. She laughed. "Well. His firstborn son and I fell in love." She gestured to Meliodas, who had drifted over to Zeldris and thrown an arm over his shoulder, apparently teasing him in demon tongue, much to the younger's displeasure. Zeldris was almost visibly bristling, and his face was red.
“Meliodas is the son the demon king??” Solaad almost yelled, gaining the two demons' attention. “I mean, yes?” Meliodas said, arm still around Zeldris’s shoulders. “Though the previous demon king is dead now, we killed pops. I’m not exactly the current demon king's son.”
Mistress Vaness hobbled forwards. “Who could possibly have the power necessary to take the place of a god?” Meliodas and Zeldris blinked, looked at each other and back at her. “We share the burden.” They said together. She gaped. “You mean…?” They smirked. “Yep! Zeldris is my younger brother. We have the same blood, which makes it easier to share the role of demon king.”
“Meli is, technically, the stronger by default. But we split the demon king's power and influence 50/50. He just had a more powerful base. Not by much though.” Zeldris added on.
Meliodas ruffled his hair fondly, and Zeldris swatted him off, retreating to Gelda’s side.  The blonde laughed and drifted back over towards Elizabeth. Mael was just. There. He was still looking at the sword. “Where did you all even get that?” He asked, baffled. The Celestials all exchanged looks and Elatte smiled at him. Solaad took the sword. “Come, we will show you.” They took off and flew down towards a temple. The group followed them.
Elatte gestured up at the magnificent murals. "The legend says that 3,000 years ago, a dark haired goddess in flowing robes accompanied the great Oshiro when Sealing away the demons on our island. He gave us the sword right before his body was spent."
She pointed to a section along the side. “All he said was: ‘I cannot bear to look at this blade any longer. Perhaps it will protect you all better than it did my brother.’ And then he was gone, simple as that. We have passed it down, generation to generation. It is because of Solaad figuring out that it could be used to seal away demons that we are all still alive.”
Mael flew up towards the mural, gazing at the depiction of the goddess. “His name was Ludociel. He was my older brother. There was a forbidden spell cast that changed the memories of everyone in the world, including that of the gods. It made it seem as though I had been killed by Estarossa, one of three demon princes. In reality, Estarossa never existed. I was transformed into him, and false memories were implanted in everyone’s head, including mine. I had no idea that I was actually Mael.” He gave a small smile. “The memories are all still there, though. It is strange. I am both Mael of Sunshine, one of the four archangels, younger brother to Ludociel of Flash. And also, I’m Estarossa, second of the three demon princes, Commandment of Love. It is… strange. I don’t fit in anywhere anymore. Not really.”
Meliodas and Zeldris exchanged glances and flew up next to him. “Mael.” Zeldris started, quietly. “For a moment in time, even without the false memories, you were still our brother.” Meliodas grinned. “Yeah! You may not be Estarossa, but, like you said, he never existed in the first place. He was made up. But you are Mael, and we may as well count you as our brother. Even if you did kill me.” He smirked and the goddess gave a strained chuckle. “Thank you.” He murmured, drifting back down to the ground. Meliodas slapped his shoulder, and Zeldris nudged his side in an unspoken display of commadry.
He turned and looked to Solaad. “The sword belongs to your people now, I accept that. But… Would you permit me to wield it once more?” The blonde nodded and held the sword out to him. He took it gratefully, feeling the familiar weight of it. He twisted it around, reacquainting himself with it.
He walked outside into the clearing and took a deep breath, centering himself. He thrust the sword up towards the sun, channeling its energy, and he spoke. “Huius bring animam suam. Iterum ego volo loqui cum eo.” The sword lit up, and a beam of light shot out of it. He grunted. “Permitte mihi vedere!” He removed a hand and pointed it forward. The beam of light connecting him to the sun moved through him and flowed out of his hand. A silhouette started to form, flickering. He pushed his hand a little bit farther forward, and more light and magic poured out of him. “Emerge.”
The silhouette solidified. A goddess stood there, blinking and looking confusedly at his hands and then around him. His eyes landed on Mael, and then the stream of light that flowed to him and formed his body. A glimmer of understanding crossed his face, and he looked back up, meeting his brother's gaze.
“Mael… Hello, little brother. What are you doing?” He smiled kindly. Mael gave him a slightly strained grin. “Hi Ludociel. I missed you, I wanted to see you again.” The dark haired goddess softened a little and walked forward, caressing the side of his face. “I have missed you too, all these years. You cannot keep this up for long, however. Manifesting a soul takes up a lot of magic, and you’re going to burn yourself out.” Mael leaned into his palm. “I know, but… my sword… I can channel more magic through it, and I just. I needed to talk to you again. I needed to tell you how sorry I was, Luce...”
He shushed him. “None of that, Mael. There is nothing to forgive. You’re my little brother, and I love you. I understand.” He glanced around again. “So you made your way to the Celestial’s island. I remember giving them your sword. I couldn’t stand seeing it without you there everyday. I just wanted to get rid of it. I’m a little impressed they’ve kept it in such good shape all these years. Heaven knows most of the rest of our weapons were damaged or destroyed over the centuries.”
Mael wobbled a little, and Ludociels image faded. His hand was clasped on his older brother's shoulder, channeling the magic directly into him. He grunted and forced himself to straighten, Ludociel’s body solidifying again. He gave him a sad smile. “You have to let me go, Mael. Before you hurt yourself.” “No! I’m not, I’m not done talking to you yet, there’s so much I need to say!” He grunted again, the magic taxing on him. Ludociel was about to force him to stop, when two beams of pure magical energy hit his back, reinvigorating him. He turned to look, and Zeldris and Meliodas were lending their power to him.
“He’s our brother too, in a way.” Meliodas said. Zeldris finished the thought. “He deserves to get to talk to you, after everything.” With the extra influx of magic, Ludociels form started to glow. He could almost feel his body again. Elizabeth walked forwards. “Ludociel… I can do this for you, at least.” He blinked, almost surprised to see her here. She pressed one hand over his forehead, and another over his chest. She inhaled deeply, eyes closed. On the exhale, she spoke. “Revertere ad vita.” His eyes widened. Return to life.
Her hands glowed with a brilliant light, and he could feel a true body forming around him. She groaned, drawing on her reserves. Gelda scowled and whirled around to the celestials. “You all have light magic! Give her some of yours!”
They were frozen, but Elatte stepped forwards and lifted her hands, pointing at Elizabeth’s back. “All of our power into one! Heal!” A beam of green light shot out of her hands and into Elizabeth. The other celestials were quick to follow her example.
She gathered the influx of energy and pushed it into him. A blinding light filled the clearing, and when it faded, Ludociel was actually there, kneeling on the ground, naked as the day he was born. Though, Elizabeth supposed that made sense, considering he had just been reborn, in a way. Mael dropped the sword and stumbled forward, clinging to him tightly. Ludociel hugged him back.
“...May I please have something to cover up with?” He asked. Mael laughed and took off the topcoat of his robe, wrapping it around him. Ludociel buttoned it up, silently thanking that it was long, and reached to his ankles.
Mael stood, and helped him to his feet, the two leaning on each other for support. Meliodas had already gathered Elizabeth up, and was holding her while she regained her energy. The two murmured gently back and forth. Gelda and Zeldris were doing the same not too far away.
"Mael…" He started. "Thank you, little brother." The light haired goddess grinned and leaned in to hug him once more. "I missed you, big brother." Ludociel smiled and stroked his hair. "We can talk later. For now, let's just enjoy the moment."
"Elizabeth… How did you do that? Even with all of our energy, we cannot bring someone back to life. So how is that with you performing the spell, it was successful?" Solaad asked, picking up the sword. She smiled a little. "I honestly had no idea that would work. I hoped, of course, but I had no way of knowing for sure."
Ludociel barked out a tired laugh. "You are far too modest, Lady Elizabeth." He turned to the gathered celestials. "She is more powerful than even I or Mael are at our strongest, when she wishes to be. Her healing powers far surpass even the best of our other healers. She is able to remove the darkness from even Indura’s, and has done so before, purifying two Indura demons at the same time. Her formal title is Elizabeth Lightbringer." He gave a small smirk as he added on one more tidbit of information. "Daughter of the Supreme Deity."
Gasps echoed through the crowd, and Elizabeth sighed. "Please, it's really not that big of a deal-" "But it is, Elizabeth." Mael said, with a brilliant smile. "Of the goddesses, you are second in power and ability only to your mother. In the rest of the world. Well. You married your equal." He nodded his head at Meliodas, who returned it with a smirk.
The two brothers walked off, shooting the crowd and, specifically, the demons and Elizabeth, grateful smiles. Meliodas clapped and rubbed his hands, wings taking shape on his back. "I'm hungry. I'll catch a sky fish, and you'll teach me how to cook one. Deal? Deal!" He flung off the ground and Elizabeth bristled, bolting after him. "YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO COOK, YOU'LL POISON US!!" He just cackled.

De you have headcanons of Kiane on their wedding day?
HELLO ANON! Thank you for the ask!
Oh of course I have headcanons … I think I’ve written some down already but I’m always happy to write more about them!
Even though King and Diane would like to marry as soon as possible, it takes time to organize the wedding. Both because the war is just over and their clans need time to readjust and because King wants their wedding to be perfect.
They also struggle a little to explain the concept of marriage to their clans.
The Fairies are still very confused about it but they generally like Diane and support their king 100%. Besides, it’s a good excuse to celebrate.
With the Giants, it’s … harder. I doubt they would all accept Diane as their queen right away and her will to merge their clan with the Fairies. So Diane probably has to work hard on having her people accept her and change their way of life and she also has to explain to them that she is going to marry no matter their opinion about it.
In the meanwhile, King supports her in everything and organizes the wedding.
I like to think that he made her wedding dress! Diane didn’t let him see her wearing it before the wedding because Elizabeth told her it wasn’t supposed to happen, and this made things a little more complicated, but eventually, King managed to do a wonderful job!
(And he kinds of paralyzes when he sees her wearing it for the first time and then gets very very emotional … he just can’t believe she is marrying him okay?)
They marry in the Fairy King’s Forest and invite all their friends so in the end the Forest is filled with people from all the Clans. (And Zeldris and Gelda would totally be invited too)
King works very hard to make sure that the ceremony will be perfect. He decorates entire clearings, makes flowers grow everywhere for the occasion, takes care of the music … he is totally freaking out. Gerheade tries her best to help him with it. She isn’t sure why he would want to follow a human tradition, but she truly wants him to be happy.
Diane is a little more chill about the ceremony because what really matters for her is that she and King are going to marry. She appreciates a lot the fact that King wants it to be the perfect wedding, but she would be fine anyway. She helps King decorating the Forest with her powers anyway!
Ban cooks of course, and even though he constantly bullies King because he is way too nervous and is going crazy about the whole thing, he works hard on making good food for Fairies, Humans and Giants. He also makes the biggest cake ever.
Meliodas brings alcohol! And also moral support and advice.
I think that even though both Meliodas and Ban would tease King all the time about the wedding and about how hard he is working on it, they would also reassure him about it. They know how much he cares about it and are going to help him keeping his shit together.
Gowther is also there to help! He read everything about weddings to be useful and is also always ready to give super blunt opinions on things when he is asked to. He also really wants King and Diane to be happy and wants to help as much as he can.
I … think that King and Diane at least thought about inviting Merlin, especially Diane. I like to think that they talked with Meliodas and Elizabeth about this first to see if they would be okay with it and then tried to reach for her. Honestly, before the last chapters of nnt, I always imagined Merlin taking part in the wedding, but as things are now, I’m not sure she would do that even if they invited her.
Anyway, before the wedding day, Ban, Meliodas and Gowther (plus the Holy Knights) totally organize a bachelor party for King. King wouldn’t want to do it actually, he is too busy being stressed as hell, but they force him.
As was to be expected, it’s crazy.
Later, when Diane asks him how it went, he refuses to talk about it. He will never speak of it again. The other Sins may tease him about it once in a while.
In the meanwhile, Diane had a super fun girls night with Elizabeth, Elaine, Matrona, Guila, Jericho …
And then, there’s the wedding! Finally!
Diane gets ready with the help of Elizabeth, Matrona and Elaine. She is a bit nervous and needs some reassurance but she is also very excited.
King is super nervous the whole time. He literally can’t believe this is happening and is constantly on the verge of freaking out. Ban has to physically stops him from flying away to check that everything is in order.
I’m not sure who would be able to legally perform the ceremony in Britannia. I guess it would make sense for Bartra to do it, but I’m also like the idea of Gerheade marrying them.
King is almost shaking while he waits for Diane, but the moments he sees her walking towards him he just stops. He can’t do anything else but staring at her, and that’s when it really hits him that they are really getting married, that they made it, finally.
And that’s when he starts crying. He keeps crying throughout the whole ceremony.
Diane is getting emotional as well but she tries very hard not to cry until the end. King isn’t making things easier.
(By the way, I think that Diane married giant size … King is completely fine with it anyway)
Also I love the idea that King and Diane made each other wedding ring using their powers!
When she can finally kiss him, Diane grabs King and smooches his face again and again because she is just so happy.
They have a lovely wedding party! It’s a great occasion to see people from all the clans getting along and having fun together!
Ban and Meliodas give at least one hilarious speech and augurate King and Diane the best for the wedding night. King is super embarrassed but he is too happy to do anything about it and Diane just finds it fun!
The party lasts a very long time because Giants and Fairies have a very weird sense of time. It would last longer if it wasn’t for the Humans reminding them about time passing.

Hi do you think you could do a dating ban and being really shy headcanon?? Also maybe if you could something about insecurity because well he's a very handsome guy.
Ban x Insecure!Reader: True Beauty
Requested: Yes, by anon!
Pairing: Ban x Fem!Reader
Summary: People were the worst. You knew that. And the worst thing was the fact you were the shyest person on earth. So people sucked more than usual. Thank God you had good friends and a sexy boyfriend on your side.
Warnings: Kind of a trigger warning? Self-deprecating thoughts, coarse language, angst, fluff, and trash writing
Other: Kind of a modern AU? There is no relation to the anime/manga
Word count: 950
Things you probably wanna know, for all you ‘x reader’ illiterates:
(Y/N): Your Name
(H/C): Hair Colour / Color
(E/C): Eye Colour / Color
(N/N): Nickname
 ***
People were the worst. It was a common fact between you and literally everyone else. Of course, there were some people who could regain your hope in humanity, but then again… they weren’t all humans. Harlequin who was known more as ‘King’ was the actual king of the fairies. His fiancée, Diane, was a giantess and the queen of the giants. Escanor was more or less human who was cursed when he was born. Gowther was a doll made human and Merlin… well, you didn’t really know about that, and Meliodas was a demon. Elizabeth turned out to be a goddess, and Hawk was a talking pig. And then there was Ban. He was pretty much human.
At least, he was as human as could be. In other words, this man was inhumanely attractive. With a scar on his left cheek and greedy fox-like eyes, you were pretty sure you were blessed with the most attractive boyfriend on earth. But sometimes, things weren’t always a blessing on your part.
It was a normal spring day; Brittania couldn’t be in higher spirits. The bright lights of the festival were swinging overhead as the townsfolk danced to the music. Stands holding delicious street foods were set up, the scent of twist potatoes on one side and sweet candy apples on the other wafting through the air. You and the rest of the Sins decided to pay a visit, Diane of course in human size.
The Sins, being the strongest knights in the kingdom, drew much attention from the town people. People flocked from side to side, asking for a picture an autograph. With an arm around your waist, you and Ban pushed through the crowd to get some food and ale. That’s when the whispers began to flood around you.
 “Is that Undead Ban?”
“Who’s the girl? Is she his girlfriend or something?”
“Why would he settle for the likes of her?”
“She’s so plain and boring. What was he thinking?”
You swallowed thickly, taking a side glance at Ban. You could tell from the look on his face that he wasn’t happy, so there was no doubt that he heard them too. His jaw clenched as more whispers encircled you, and the tightness in your chest was beginning to constrict your movements. You let out a small breath, trying to calm yourself down. They were just a bunch of jealous girls; Ban wouldn’t think any less of you… would he?
A face flashed past you and you stopped walking altogether. Elaine. Of course, you remember her; she was a small but pretty fairy with silky blonde hair and gorgeous gold eyes. Ban’s first love who died from health complications. You understood why he loved her. After all, not only was she pretty, but she was kind and fierce at the same time. You, on the other hand, would probably lose half your limbs and your life in the first 5 seconds of a battle.
“(Y/N)?” His voice brought you out of your reverie. “Are you okay?”
“I think I’m going to be sick,” you blurted before breaking out of his hold and bolting to the nearest restroom, not giving Ban a moment to process what just happened.
You passed Diane and Elizabeth who both excused themselves and gave chase. You felt your heart palpitate; this wasn’t how you thought the day would go. You pushed into the bathroom, leaning against the cool white walls. Shaky breaths began to escape your body. Not only were you shy and had social anxiety because of it, but you couldn’t stand to be in crowded rooms. You thought that maybe with Ban there you would feel more comfortable. He definitely helped, but the whispers that filled your ears were the last things you wanted to hear.
“(Y/N)? Is everything okay?” Elizabeth’s careful voice reverberated against the tiles and you forced a smile.
 “I just… I kinda lost it.”
“Is it about those annoying town girls again?” Diane huffed angrily from beside the princess. “You don’t deserve that, (N/N). No one does!”
“But they’re right,” you mumbled. “I’m shy, quiet, probably annoying… Ban deserves someone better; someone stronger, someone who could be of actual use.”
“You’re helpful Lady (Y/N)!” Elizabeth exclaimed, determined to prove you wrong. “You might not know the whole story. Sir Ban has never been happier ever since he met you! You take care of him, worry about him and you’re always there for him whenever he needs it!”
“Yeah, and have you heard what he says about you?” Diane asked, a gentle smile on her face. “He’s always telling King and the others about how amazing you are. He really cares about you, (Y/N). Have more faith in him!”
 “But those girls-”
“They’re snobs,” Elizabeth and Diane said together and the three of you burst into little giggles.
You let out a small sigh thankful for having such good friends. “Yeah. You’re right guys. Thank you.” And enveloping them in a hug, you felt something spring in your chest. Confidence.
 ***
Ban found you a few after you emerged from the bathroom. Needless to say, he was worried sick. He knew he should have told those girls off; after all, they were the reason you got stressed out.
 “Hey, are you- mph!”
You clenched your eyes closed as you pressed your lips to his. His hands found your waist as he pulled you closer to him. Reluctantly, you pulled away, your cheeks burning and eyes on the ground.
“Well damn, (Y/N), that was fucking hot.”
Your cheeks burned further and your buried your face in his chest. Ban let out a low chuckle, kissing the top of your head.
 “I love you.”
 ~End~
Remember guys, you’re all beautiful in your own way! xoxo

#8 - Gowther
Top Ten Favorite (Anime) Characters
Tumblr media
#4 - Gowther (The Seven Deadly Sins)
Quote:
"Memories are merely information. Creating or erasing them is not difficult. What I want to understand is the 'emotion' that reaches beyond them."
Gowther reminds me a lot of Violet Evergarden, as they both have many issues with understanding emotions (don't we all?). However, I very much like how Gowther is willing to take much more drastic, and sometimes deadly (get it?), means to fulfill his desire.
Gowther lusts to understand emotion, and I think that is an absolutely wonderful portrayal of the sin itself. I strongly disliked Lust in Fullmetal Alchemist because of how literally the definition of 'lust' was taken. Although Gowther's original crime was similar to the meaning of Lust as used in Fullmetal Alchemist, his character throughout the series embodies several different meanings of 'lust'. I can't help but love a character as well-made as Gowther.
Though his actions towards others in his lust for emotional knowledge are often harmful, he is unable to find fault in his behavior due to his inability to empathize with others. He has an almost child-like innocence about him that many characters with similar issues seem to have and it is, admittedly, a bit endearing to see embodied in a character.
He's another one of those conflicted, complicated characters that I cannot seem to escape. Why does there have to be so many well-written characters out there? Can't everything just be Sharknado?

Happy Birthday @bertazsleepyhead ! Your friendship has been so dear to me these past few months. You are so genuinely kind, endlessly talented, and you  are much sweeter than I deserve! I have such trust in you and enjoy annoying you every day! I can’t wait until we possibly meet and get European beer together, but until then, I’ve FINALLY completed something escalin! I hope it brings you a percentage of the happiness you’ve brought me by being my friend!
“Science, Magic, and Something More”
an Escalin fanfiction
”Do you have a purpose for collecting these?” Gowther ponders; his voice is monotonous and bland as always, but Merlin can swear his tone changes just a tinge with curiosity. Curiosity was the only ‘emotion’ he experiences, if it could even be called an emotion. Perhaps that’s what made them so similar.
She smirked, her lip twitching as she kept her hand steady, the thin needle she held weaving into the fabric below. “A purpose for collecting,” she peaks at what he’s referring to: an entire shelf of eyes in different shades and sizes, “eyes? Well, it could be said that most of my collections are superfluous. But I think research for the sake of research is reason enough, don’t you agree?”
His lips purse slightly as he seems to consider this. Merlin wonders if he was considering it, wonders what those churns in his head really processed. She’d love to dive in with a few tools, but even she wouldn’t dare; her companions received a restraint from her inquisitiveness that she held for no others. All she can do is attempt to keep him emotionally stable: one day, perhaps, love and heart will return to him. But not yet.
“Merlin,” his voice cuts through her thoughts, but her hands never stop. Rarely does she get distracted from her work. She hums in acknowledgment, keeping her eyes down.
“Do you think,” he poses thoughtfully, “we will ever be a full seven again?”
Her fingers slow and then pause, her eyes widening only a fraction before returning to their passive state. Yes, six of the sins they were now, and in relative peace. But that left one out there still. She kept distracted from thinking of him: for all she knew, he could be dead. But she doubted it. Though no science nor magic she’d encountered through her plentiful years had proven such a feeling so, she still suspected she’d know if something were to happen to Escanor.
“Perhaps,” she settles on, and then gets back to work. A steady hand, a needle through fabric, a magic pulsing through her veins. Work is easy. Thoughtless, sometimes. “Maybe even sooner than we suspect.”
A tilted head of pink locks eyes her curiously, “what makes you think so?”
“A feeling.”
“That’s all?”
“Sometimes, that’s all there is,” she rises from her work again, approaching the doll. She gives him a motherly grin, with just the usual hint of mischief. “Sometimes feelings are even more accurate than science or magic.”
“I’ll note that.” Gowther says, and Merlin knows he’s being quite literal. Emotions are but a study to him. If she was being honest with herself, they were foreign to her.
In the evening he heads off into the dusk and into the city. Merlin is left in her lab, surrounded by books and collections, and finds rest on her folded arms as she fades into sleep. The back of her eyelids are a shade of orange-brown she hasn’t seen in a decade. Her heart yearns for an emotion she has forgotten the name of years before: much like Gowther, she just can’t quite understand it.
— —
In the perils of war, he returns. She’d heard that he had, but had been away from the tournament, the fighting, for just a while. Now she was back. And he was back. At long last, they were seven again.
It’s four hours into the afternoon, and he is descending forms. Still, the sun is high. He is shining golden armor and steel muscle. Tall and buff but not unusually so. Confident, but with just a crack. She notes this all in bullet points in her head. Her favorite area of study: endlessly changing, unable to be understood.
He is covered in the blood of an enemy, stained in it.
“It doesn’t suit you,” she says. They’ve hardly shared multiple lines of dialogue, little introduction, only a few lines of reunion.
“What’s that?” He questions, shocked. His confidence wavers.
“Blood,” her nose wrinkles, “you’re too gentle for such a thing.”
He laughs, loud and hearty, “Merlin! We’ve long battled together. You’ve seen me like this before.”
She hums. She has. “Yes, but it’s not your preference.”
“No,” he wavers, a shake in the boisterous pride. “And honestly,” he confesses, a soft voice from a large man, “it brings me no pleasure to be at war.”
That made two of them.
“You need a bath,” she states blankly. “I have one at my lab. Come.” And she walks away before he flushes, knowing he’ll follow. She’s knows he’ll follow. It’s a reliable constant.
It’s not a long walk to her residence. It’s a silent few minutes, except for the clank of his blood stained armor.
Her residence is as always, a clutter of oddities and magic. Immediately, she turns, her hands out and demanding. “I’ll give your armor some upgrades in the meanwhile. Go wash.”
He is still blustery and embarrassed, much like his night self. He seems to defy his day and night norms when around her. She notes this all.. for science, of course.
He washes in the bathroom, and she lays his armor out on a table, fiddling and tinkering. She’d needed to custom make this set for him, so it didn’t explode or suffocate him whenever his body changed so rapidly.
She works, and he’s in a fresh set of clothes observing her books. The afternoon wears on, his muscles slowly become smaller. They are nearly the same in height. She pays this no mind: his ability is an enigma, but there is no form in which she is unsure of his company.
He’s looking through her shelves of books and she’s just come to realize she’s stopped moving, observing him.
“You don’t carry much outside of technical books,” he ponders out loud.
“Is that surprising?”
“Not exactly.”
She waits for him to go on, but he doesn’t. Nonetheless, her hands do not go back to work. It takes a minute of flipping through shelves with a careful eye. “I prefer, as you know, fantasy. Poetry, the more emotional pieces. But knowledge, well… you are of course so brilliant to have all this information stored away. Books like these are of much more use.”
“All those books and yet there’s still much even I don’t know.”
“Oh? I doubt that!” Escanor smiles. It’s partially in jest, and mostly in comforting reassurance. He always seeks to reassure her.
But why her? She knows she’s beautiful. And yet he sees beyond. Regardless of her mystery, her walls, her mischievous nature. This man, this genuinely good man, has found so much affection for her. All the books in the world and it doesn’t make sense.
What does she feel? No. She never entertains such thoughts about her emotions. She drops the question before she begins to answer it.
She stands from her seat, walking over to the shelves beside him. She pretends to glance at them thoughtfully, truly seeing nothing.
“I wish I knew what went on in your head,” he chuckles, low and soft, a huff of warm air against her cheek. “I can see the gears churning. What are you thinking?”
Her automatic response tells her to say no. Secretive, to the point. But she promised more. “If you must know—“
“And I must!”
Her lips twitch, “I was thinking about how complicated you are. I’ve mastered science and magic, and yet, around you I feel something. And no study could explain the feeling.”
He pauses, swallowing. She respects how quickly he recovers, humming. “Is that good or bad?”
“Neither. Wonderful, in a way. Frustrating to the mind that wants an explanation for all.” She turns away again, takes a seat on her chaise, leaning back against the cushions.
He sits by her feet. Still tall, at this hour. Slimming, but not at the end of the day. The dusk light still shines through the window. His hand reaches out, and she holds her breath. His fingers gently touch her hair, tucks dark strands behind her ear. There’s a tremble that could be either of them, or both.
“Poems,” he begins, “try to use words to convey the feelings that we cannot explain to ourselves.”
She hums, at peace. “And you write these poems about me.”
“Yes,”
“Are they about love?” She questions to the air, an inner thought the slips from her tongue.
He hesitates, pausing mid breath, and she realizes what she’s asked him to confess. Something they both know, and yet dared not say. Her eyes widen as she goes to pull the question back from the tense air.
“They’re all about love,” he confesses, but there is a confidence in his voice. More confident than she’s ever heard him, at this dusky hour. What a curious man, an endless enigma. Her wide eyes take him in.
“Read another to me,” a gentle command.
So he does. A poem about the colors of berries, an ode to her.
“A mystery you are,” he finishes, “the greatest sorceress in all Britannia.” And his words come to a close, his gaze on her as he waits for response.
“Perhaps we are both enigmas,” is all she states, though her tone is nearly sad. Here he is writing odes to her beauty, and here she sat knowing nothing of the heart.
Moments pass in silence. “There are feelings I don’t believe I can convey,” she pauses, “but I cannot write poems.”
“I’m sure you could!” He reassures, “your brilliant, and —“
“No,” she leans up from the lounge so they’re sitting side by side, there legs lightly touch. “You think very dearly of me,” she says, matter of fact.
“Oh, well, I-“
“Why do you think so dearly of me?” Her head tilts, and she wonders if this is how Gowther feels when he is so genuinely confused by others emotions.
His eyes widen, and he needn’t say anything at all for her to know he’s prepared an endless book, a poem that goes on, about all the reasons. The thought makes her feel something in her chest and under her skin, warm, glowing.
“I’m going to try something. It may be foolish but… I want to understand.” She needed to understand.
“I can’t write poems. I’m not good with words, emotions. I think I must,” her voice becomes a whisper as their eyes meet, and she tilts her head naturally “find another way.”
She doesn’t close her eyes when they kiss. She is too startled. She’d kissed before: oh, many times. Her life has spanned too long to not try things for curiosity sake. But it had all been science then.
This was something more. She didn’t know what it was, only that it was overwhelming, and she was a woman who was infrequently overwhelmed. Her eyes softly close. She gives in.
She kisses him, and she expects fire. But it is not flame, or passionate explosions, or even sparks. No, it is just warmth. Warmth and joy and the color of orange swirling beneath her closed eyelids.
After a few seconds of surprised paradise he gasps, and that breaks their lips apart. But she stays close.
“Merlin, I-“
“I feel,” she begins, but she cannot continue on with words she doesn’t know. “I feel.” She simply repeats. A statement.
He nods because regardless of his poems stating she’s an endless enigma, he tends to understand her on a level few others do. “There are somethings we can’t explain,” he repeats, “even brilliant people like you. Science nor magic… all the studies in the world… we cannot be taught. We just have to find it ourselves.”
“Yes,” she agrees.
“I think I’ll call it love.”

Sins + Elizabeth + Elaine + Arthur ice skating
Sins
Meliodas: Meliodas is a celebrity. He does on-ice shows and such, much to the adoration of his audience. He’s graceful and knows a few tricks, but he’s not good enough for real competition, and he knows it. He doesn’t get hung up on it though. He’s cool where he is.
Diane:Training hard! She’s gonna be the best ice skater there’s ever been. She isn’t exactly build for figure skating though. Even though her skills might be on par with the other female applicants, not many people are willing to sponsor such a large woman. For now she’s making a killing in ice hockey though.
Ban:Another celebrity, although a reluctant one. He’s so surprisingly graceful on the ice it’s almost mesmerizing to watch him go through the seemingly slow curves and loops of his routine. He refuses to wear elaborate costumes, sticking usually to matching dark colored pants and t-shirts. Even though he doesn’t want to be in the spotlight himself, he’s very proud and supportive of his famous girlfriend
King: Used to be a legendary duo with Elaine, but then he decided to make a solo career for himself. He’s still really good, but he’s best known for the duo. Jumps and speed are his strong suit, and he’s got plenty of fangirls
Gowther: The second most talented skater. His nickname is “The Ice Doll” because of how pretty and graceful he is. All of his sets are based off of books, and they can get a little boring and/or weird. His costumes are always sparkly
Merlin: Used to be the biggest ice star in the world, like Victor Nikiforov famous, before she retired. Her sets were hauntingly beautiful and ridiculously complicated, some say it was so that others couldn’t copy her. Her costumes were all black and purple, and all very revealing.
Escanor: The guy who cleans the ice
Other
Elizabeth: Who let her on the ice. She’s too clumsy for this. Does on-ice shows with Meliodas, and is a budding star. Even though she’s clumsy, she’s exceedingly beautiful and can play any white Disney princess in a Disney On Ice show
Elaine: The most talented one there, even though people keep mistaking her for being in the junior division. The only time she has ever fumbled in her entire career is when she saw Ban in the audience holding a sign that said “I love you babe!”
Arthur:Arthur is another aspiring breakout star. He’s young, handsome, and eager. Rumor has it he’s the protégé of the retired sensation, Merlin. Most of his sets are fast and upbeat to keep up with his energy

A King’s Nightmare
I should be sleeping but instead, I'm doing these reposts. Puddin’s I have no priorities.
I love King and Ban’s complicated relationship, and also wanted to play on King’s fears a bit, so this was born. Because let’s face it, you can’t lose someone like he lost Elaine and not have nightmares. This takes place in between King’s arrival and Gowther’s return.
Part 1(here)   Part 2
Link to FF.net version
Link to AO3 version
Fire surged around the clearing. King recognized the field he was in, but everything was wrong. The Fairy King’s Forest was supposed to be a lavish field rich in plants and life, instead, it was a wasteland burned to the ground. It was still burning, but nothing he could do would help it.
From his left, he heard a strangled cry. Fear made him want to turn away, he just knew that whatever was there was something he never wanted to see, but his feet moved of their own will. What he saw before him shook him to the core. His baby sister laid beaten on the ground, burns, and blood littered against her delicate skin.
As he scooped her up into his arms, she faced him slowly, hatred burning in her eyes. “Why did you leave? Why didn’t you come back?” And before he could let a tear fall, she turned to ash.
Jumping up, cold sweat fell into the Fairy King’s eyes, mixing with tears. Climbing out of his hammock, it was both a blessing and a curse that his roommate was absent. Ban wasn’t there to witness the mess that was King during a nightmare, but it meant King would have to look farther to find him.
It was time, he decided, to have a conversation that he had been putting off since his return to the Seven Deadly Sins. He could no longer stand the pain of not knowing and too long had King let the topic hang in the air.
He found the fox sin hypnotically chopping vegetables in the kitchen. Ban never stopped his knife, and the fairy thought he hadn’t noticed his presence.
“What do you want~” cut through the silence like his knife.
The sloth sin fumbled for a moment, working up the courage and words. The tension in the air stagnated. Clenching his eyes tight, King finally managed force himself to speak.
“How exactly did Elaine die?”
The taller man’s hands slipped in surprise, bringing the knife through his index finger instead of the vegetables. The finger fell to the floor as Ban hissed and moved to keep blood off the food. When he finally picked it up, he held it against his hand letting it reconnect itself.
Taking a calming breath he spoke his words uncharacteristically serious. “You don’t need to know.”
“Why the hell not? I’m her brother, I should have been there, I deserve to know!” King’s voice broke with his desperation. Who was Ban to decide whether or not he knew?
The undead man never turned to face his comrade, instead choosing to grasp at the counter until it nearly broke. “You don’t need to know because you don’t need that fucking image in your head! I’m trying to spare your ass the pain of having it replay in your mind every damn day.”
“You don’t get it, I need to know. My imagination is killing me unless I know the truth I can’t help but imagine all the worst possibilities and even if it’s more horrific than those at least I’ll know for sure.” Anger and frustration visibly rolled off the small form as he tried to make the Sin understand. “Please Ban, I need to know how much my sister suffered because I wasn’t there.”
A strangled sigh escaped the Immortal’s lips before he dropped the cut vegetables into the storage bin. “I’m not having the conversation sober” was all he called as he moved toward the bar.
King followed, accepting the bottle handed to him. The two sat in a tense silence until the undead man topped off his drink, grabbing another. “Where do you want to start?”
“Did it hurt?”
“It was a hole in her chest, I didn’t ask but I can imagine it did. It sounded like it did when she breathed.” If the fairy thought that he could handle the details, then Ban wouldn’t hold out on the gory parts, even if it was painful to talk about.
“How big was the wound?”
“Big enough to see straight through.”
“Was it quick?”
“She was conscious for 15 minutes before she died.”
Ban finished his second drink of the night, replacing it in the blink of an eye, while King struggled to swallow his first one. He thought this would help him, but now he was aware of the tightening hold on his chest. Too late to go back now, though.
“What did she say, at the end?”
Quiet stretched for a few beats. “She was sad her home was burning and wished there was a way she could keep it safe” Ban lied, not wanting the fairy to feel the burden of knowing the forest was safe, but that the fairies viewed him as a traitor. The bandit visited it every few years, and even though he wanted to let it rot, he used his blood to sustain it because it was her last wish that it live on.
“Do you think she hates me?”
The white haired man did not answer immediately. Instead, he looked into the fairy’s eyes, debating whether or not to answer. A part of him did resent the sloth sin, and wanted to make him pay just a bit for leaving Elaine alone, but he knew she wouldn’t want him to. And Ban would do it to honor her.
“No, she wasn’t capable of hate. Maybe she was sad and angry, but she was too good to hate anyone.”
If Ban noticed the tears falling from his teammate’s eyes, he didn’t speak on it. Instead, he finished his drink, letting the smaller boy deal with his own emotions while he got ready for bed.
King watched the bandit leave the room and knew the conversation was over. Even though he would never fully be able to understand how the relationship between his sister and the former human had started, it was obvious how much the tall man cared for her.
So he was grateful to Ban. Grateful that his sister had company in her last days, had someone who treated her with care, and grateful that even though it was hard to talk about, the sin of greed had still had this discussion with him.
In the coming days, King’s nightmares would still visit, but not as frequently. Even when they did, the fairy could comfort himself with the knowledge that his sister had not died alone, nor suffered for long, and that there was even a small chance her spirit was not cursing his name.

During a Q&A, his audience has a group of scientists in it. It's small, only a trio, but they're curious about Siren Biology. There's some research done on it, and one had even been In a lab, but the pained screeches and terror and grieving was too much for him, coupled with the very human faces, so he quit. Meliodas answers his questions best he can, about growth and lifespan, blah blah blah. He does warn them that, because of how he was isolated growing up, he doesn't know as much as he should, there was no one to teach him. He's catching up now.
When they ask, he explains that sirens are typically found in family units called pods. If they're not in a pod, then something is very wrong, it means they've been separated somehow. Children do have their parents, but they are communal raised. "What is the phrase you humans use... it takes a village? I think that's it."
When asked about mating and reproductive habits and anatomy, he tilts his head. "Sirens are hermaphrodites, we can both sire and bear children. Who does what is typically discussed and agreed upon. Sometimes both do. We also have hermepenes, er-" He glances at the others. "Two phalluses. I don't really know why. Maybe it's like claspers, with sharks? We just... have them. As for, uh... MATING, we, like you humans, participate in social intercourse, as well as reproductive." (Maybe if he uses enough big words, the kids won't know what he's talking about.) "Before you do the whole 'Well, then how do you have both boys and girls?' It's complicated. For one, gender is mostly social. I myself prefer to be called he/him, like Derieri prefers she/her. We can both bear and sire but I think it's a hormone thing so, whichever we tend to prefer, we lean towards physically. It's a neat thing, when you see sirens switch. One of my podmates, Gowther, the younger one is uh... Nonbinary? That's what you call it? They're comfortable with any pronouns, really, and don't lean physically one way or the other."
First off, I love the headcanon that Gowther is NB. Love that for them!
I love how Meliodas was polite in explaining the anatomy of sirens, whether it came to mating, pregnancy, or pod life. Because Siren anatomy isn't all that well discovered (because Sirens in the wild will automatically kill any human that invades), Meliodas recieves a lot of questions from the three scientists. If there was a big crowd, then Mel probably wouldn't be as keen to answer the questions. Zeldris also comes up and tries to explain how he and Meliodas were able to survive by themselves for so many years, and each give their own account of what it was like for them.

003 | Zeldris for the fandom meme~
Thank you so much for the ask!
How I feel about this character: at first I was pretty neutral about him, but now I really like Zeldris! I think he is a very interesting character to explore, the fact that he grew up in a similar way to Meliodas but then they took totally different paths is just so fascinating for me ... also he has a funny design. I’ll never be over his hair.
Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: I only ship Gelda with Zeldris, we didn’t see much of their dynamics but they are so much fun together!
My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Meliodas, I really would have liked to see more of their relationship! They have been enemies for a long time but it’s obvious that Meliodas still cared and thought about him and I think that Zeldris had still some respect for his older brother too; he was angry because he betrayed and left him, but I’m not sure he ever completely hated Meliodas. I would have wanted to see them interact a bit more after Zeldris was freed from the Demon King.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I don’t know if this is unpopular but I think that his redemption during the first fight against the Demon King was too rushed. It made sense that he attacked his father (a father who did nothing for him and would have never helped him freeing Gelda) but the fact that he wanted to become the Demon King to create a peaceful world was just so random! It had never been mentioned before and wasn’t mentioned after, it was just put there to give Zeldris good motivations to make him look less like a villain I guess. I found it unnecessary, he didn’t need to be redeemed like that!
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I would have loved to see Zeldris interact with the Sins after the Demon King was defeated! Like finally drinking something with his brother and his friends and actually talk with them. I feel like it would have been so much fun! Since if I remember correctly he can hold his liquor pretty well, he would just sit there looking at those crazily powerful people getting drunk and wondering why exactly he is there - but he would eventually enjoy himself, Meliodas would make sure of it. This boy needs to relax, why didn’t we get something like this?
Favorite friendship for this character: the issue here is that Zeldris didn’t have interactions many characters and he didn’t seem very close to any Commandment (except for Estarossa but that was a complicated relationship). I’m not sure I would call his relationship with Cusack a “friendship” either. He could develop a strong friendship with Meliodas, and I like to think that he would get along with the Sins as well (especially King, Diane, Gowther and Ban, they are all characters I can see having an interesting relationship with him).
My crossover ship: I don’t have one actually ... I can’t think about any character from another fandom! I’m terrible at crossover ships

Gowdja for the ask thing :D
THANK YOU! I LOVE THEM!
When I started shipping them: reading Gowther’s gaiden. Usually, it takes a while to me to ship two characters, and but that chapter was more than enough ... this ship is too precious.
My thoughts: WHY DID IT HAVE TO END LIKE THAT?? Okay, I knew from the start that they wouldn’t have had a happy ending, but Nadja’s death stabbed me in the chest. She died peacefully, close to the man she loved, but can we talk about how much that hurt Gowther? I just would have wanted them to spend more time happily together.
What makes me happy about them: the fact that they are so pure! And that they both try so hard to make the other happy. Nadja was willing to help Gowther even though he was a weird stranger hiding under the castle and Gowther was always by her side and did his best to make her happy. Their relationship is so beautiful.
What makes me sad about them: well you know. She died in front of him, he renounced to his emotions because of that and spent decades not even remembering her because it hurt too much. That.
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: the fact that there are not enough fanfictions about them
Things I look for in fanfic: fluff mostly, but also angst. And I love the idea of AUs where Nadja is alive and can live happily with Gowther
My wishlist: I know she will most likely never come back but I think it would be nice if Gowther went to visit her in the capital of the dead, just to talk with her for a while. (Or I guess she could reincarnate but I don’t trust Nakaba much with this trope after all the Melizabeth angst and it would get complicated)
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: for Nadja I wouldn’t know, for Gowther it’s Slader! He is a good man and he really likes Gowther, if only their relationship was developed more, they would have been cute together.
My happily ever after for them: THEY DIDN’T HAVE ONE though I guess that Gowther is finally at peace with himself and I hope that Nadja is watching him from the afterlife and is proud of him. In an AU, they should totally get married.

He's sitting on the throne, giving orders to other demons. A smidgen of memory prevented him from killing Gloxinia and Drole. Instead, he took their commandments and banished them from Camelot. The lower demons leave, and Meliodas sighs, rubbing his forehead. He'd almost forgotten what a HEADACHE managing the Demon clan was. He hears shuffling to his left and peaks up. Kavan has emerged from the servants door and he sits up. "Kavan? What is it?"
The boy shuffles a little, looking upset and Meliodas sighs. "What is it, Kavan? I don't have time for this." He jolted a little, and bounced a little with a quiet whine before walking over, his last few steps wary. Meliodas just kept watching with a raised eyebrow as his youngest's eyes darted up to him nervously before climbing up onto the throne and curling up against his thigh.
Meliodad blinked and sighed, but put his hand down against his shoulder. "Alright. Just for a few minutes." Kavan stays there, shaking a little bit. Meliodas eyes him before huffing and pulling him upright to settle in his lap. He sweeps a thumb over his cheek to wipe away the tear tracks. "What's wrong? Where's your mother and brother?"
Kavan hiccups and rubs his little fists under his eyes, trying not to burst into sobs. "G-Gone..."
Meliodas tenses. "What?"
"They left. I wouldn't leave."
He leaps off his chair and sprints towards the room his family was in, Kavan held securely against him. He throws the door opened and, just as Kavan said, it's empty and cold. "Kavan, how long have they been gone?"
Kavan whimpered and tried to hide his face against his shoulder, but Meliodas pulled him back firmly. Not enough to hurt him, but not gently either. "Answer me, Kavan!"
"T-Two hours. I'm sorry Mama Mel..."
Meliodas snarled, not at him, but he flinched anyways. He sef him down on the empty bed and started pacing, hands behind his back. "Fuck. This complicates things." He starts to leave, and Kavan thinks he's gonna leave without him, but no. A swath of darkness scoops him up, carrying him behind Meliodas. The blonde gives his son a side eye. "You are not to leave my side, child. I will resolve this, and you won't be a variable."
Kavan just whimpered and curled up into a little ball.
_-_-_-_-_
The Demon King was beating him to a near pulp within his own mindscape.
His mate is dead, his brother is dead, his friends are dead, his SONS are dead. And it's entirely his fault.
Why continue trying? His thoughts are an echo of his father's words, but he's RIGHT, for once. He should just... let go. Give in. Let his soul fade away so he can rejoin his real family in afterlife. Leave his body as a husk for his tyrant father.
Warm hands slide around his arm, and heft him up against a warm body. He blinks open his eyes to see familiar, teary golden ones staring back at him. "Don't give up, Meliodas."
"Elizabeth..." He breathed out. She smiled and slid a hand down the side of his face. "We're all waiting for you. Gowther sent me into your mindscape. The boys are with Zeldris. Ban is fighting for you. You mustn't give up, Meliodas. No matter what."
His eyes flicked behind her for just a second to see all the sins, sans Ban, standing there, grinning madly. His jaw trembled and a sob broke free as he lifted a shaking hand to brush back Elizabeth's hair. "You're alive! I thought that- and the curse was broken by The Demon King, so you were for good- and the boys- and-and Zel‐!"
She brought him into a hug and he clung to her, gasping as he fought to get his breath under control. He gave a hiccuping laugh. "Do I look older? I spent a thousand years over in Purgatory, after all." She gave her own choked giggle. "I love you."
The Demon King tried to harm them, but Meliodas used Trillion Dark, a tactic he decided to try on the fly.
It worked.
It took a long, exhausting battle on both ends, but he drove out the Demon King, who immediately tried to possess Zeldris instead, but was stopped by the broken form of Meliodas, who contained it in a seal. It wouldn't last very long, but long enough to figure out a more permanent solution.
He wobbled and collapsed to the ground, getting cries from his family. Zeldris being the closest was first there, and helped to sit him up against a shattered crystal.
His sons run to him before hesitating as they got closer and didn't THAT just shatter his heart. He did the thing he promised never to do. He became his father. Literally, in the sense of possession, but...
They were scared of him. Just like how him and Zeldris were scared of their own sire.
He opened his arms, what to had to have been a near desperate, pleading expression on his face. They rammed into him and he held them close, tears escaping despite himself.
"Im sorry, I'm so so sorry, and I don't ever expect you to forgive me, because I was AWFUL to you, and treated you horribly, like I didn't even care, and I was going to leave you behind just like your birth parents did and I'm an awful awful Mama, I'm so sorry babies, I don't deserve to ever have you!"
Kavan pulled back roughly and shook his head, glaring at Mel. "No! You dont- you don't get to leave again, Mama Mel! You don't even get to TRY, ok?"
He nodded vigorously and pulled him back, cradling his head and pressing a kiss to his forehead. "Yes, ok, that- yeah. I swear it, little star. I won't ever leave again. Won't even try."
Soren dug his fingers into his back. "We don't hate you, Mama Mel. We're only a little upset."
"And you have every right to be, I wouldn't even blame you if you DID hate me. I am an awful parent, I-" his voice broke and he closed his eyes, choosing instead to bury his face in their sweaty hair. "I love you two so much. I'll never be able to apologize enough."
"You're not a bad Mama. You were just scared." Soren said quietly, pulling back and wiping a hand across his face. "And we un-da-stoot that!"
He gave a little hiccuping laugh and looked up to Elizabeth, who was watching with a fond smile. He opened his arms just a little and gave her a wobbly smile. She laughed quietly and slipped to her knees, hugging tightly to his chest. "Welcome back, stupid." He smiled and pressed a whisper against her hair. "Thanks."
He takes 10 minutes just to hold the three of them, groping out to the side and yanking in a startled Zeldris as well. After that he carefully pries them off, standing with minimal pain thanks to his amazing, stunning, beautiful Elizabeth's healing.
He told the boys to stay next to their uncle and took Elizabeth's hands, guiding her a little bit away from the others.
"Are you ready?" He whispered, with an excited grin, grasping her hands tightly.
"What for?" She gave a confused laugh and his smile widened, squeezing gently.
"To break the curse, of course!"
"But... the Demon King..."
"I know. I found another way while I was in Purgatory."
She cocked her head curiously. "I'm listening."
He brushed a kiss to her lips. "Don't listen. Watch." He moved back a step and pointed to his daughter. "Merlin! Can you do the thing?"
She huffed but flicked a hand. "I suppose." A mumbled incantation and several snappish gestures later, a strange black mist began to roll off the couple. Their boys cried out, but Meliodas raised his hand to stop them as he looked up to the shadows condensed, face hard. Elizabeth stared at them too.
"...This is what the curse that afflictions us looks like."
He nodded. "Yeah. Now."
He took a couple of deep breathes, gathering his magic, and then let out a quiet yell as he summoned a new form. His true magic form. The power oozed off of him in pulses and as he broke their curse, Elizabeth realized...
He really had become Demon King.
Still, she ran the few short paces to him and leapt into his arms. 3000 years. It took 3000 years, but they were FREE. They separated just enough to hold out an arm each to the boys, who scrambled over them, hugging tightly.
"Does this mean Mama Ellie isn't gonna die today anymore?" Kavan whispered, both eager and afraid of the answer. They squeezed the both of them tightly. "That's right." Elizabeth whispered. "It means I'm going to live now."
How do you think Baltra will react to Kaven and Soren calling both Elizabeth and Meliodas ‘Mama?’
He flips out. This is when Meliodas hasn't quite come back yet, they come to the castle, and she leaves the Boar Hat - and Mel - under the guard of Ban. She brings the boys with her to introduce them to her father and sisters.
When she's greeting them, they stay behind her nervously, but she puts a hand on either of their heads gently.
"This is Kavan, and this is Soren. They're Meliodas’s sons that he talked about."
They're given Hello's, and then Kavan clocks his head. "Are you Mama Ellies other family?"
They're necks damn near snap from the whiplash. "D-Did you just call her Mama??"
Elizabeth flushed a little, as did the boys, but they nodded. "We started- we started calling her that after Mama Mel-" Soren broke off when his voice broke and she guided him against her gently, rubbing his shoulders soothingly. Elizabeth gave a pained smile. "Meliodas adopted them, you remember that. And until he comes back, I'm taking care of them instead."
They looked at her sadly. Margaret moved to put a hand on her cheek. "Oh, Elizabeth... You know that he's not- people don't just- He's DEAD, sweetie."
Elizabeth's look turned a little hard and she gently removed her sisters touch. "He'll come back. I know he will. Don't ask how I know, I just do."
The boys nod firmly. They're sure he'll come back too.
_-_-_-_-_
Meliodas did, eventually, come back. He was talking to a VERY stunned Bartra with either of the boys hugging his sides. He put an arm over their shoulders and kept them close. Elizabeth was behind him, pressed along his back, arms crossed over his collar, cheek resting in his fluffy golden hair, and just basking in him.
"How are you alive? You were dead, the only other person I've seen return from the dead is Sir Ban, and he's immortal."
"Exactly."
"What?"
Meliodas smiled a little tiredly at Veronica. "I am not immortal in the same way Ban was. But if I am killed, I will revive within a few months, depending on how long it takes my body to recover. It didn't take too long this them, since Elizabeth healed my wounds."
He was met with stunned stares. Bartra cleared his throat. "Did... Elizabeth know that?" He shook his head. "She did not. The only person among the sins who knew prior to this was Merlin. And that's because she's seen me revive before, considering she's my daughter."
"Wait, then how was Elizabeth so sure you'd come back?"
"He promised me." Elizabeth whispered, tightening her grip on him a little bit. "He promised me that no matter what happened, he would always return to me. I trusted him to keep his word."
He tilted his head back a little and rubbed his nose along her jawline. It may or may not have been demon instinct, scenting her, but it was also to comfort her, because he could CERTAINLY smell the distress and grief that radiated off of her and he knew that there had been a part of her that believed him gone forever. She smiled and pressed her nose and mouth back against his hair.
"...Sir Meliodas..." King Bartra started warily. "What, exactly, is your relationship with my daughter?"
Elizabeth tensed immediately, but Meliodas just smiled. "Whatever she wants it to be. I'll take her any way I can have her." She squeaked and blushed, and he laughed. Soren looked between them curiously. "Mama Mel, are you and Mama Ellie gonna get married?"
Poor Elizabeth looked like she was about to pass out, she was so red, and Meliodas ruffled his hair. "That's a conversation for another time, bud."
He didn't say no.
Her father and sisters were damn near scandalized, and Elizabeth spoke up. "Can we not talk about all that right now? I'm just... please, Father, we just got him back." She swept a gentle hand over the boys hair.
Bartra softened a little. "Of course. Excuse us, we were just surprised. I am glad you've returned to us, Sir Meliodas. Though, I do have one question?"
"Yeah sure, what is it?"
"... why did they call you Mama?"
"Oh, that's easy. Demons don't have gender roles the same way humans do. So it makes no difference whether I am father or mother. The important part is that I'm parent. Does that make sense?"
"Yes, I suppose so. Why did you two start calling him mother instead of father."
"Mama Ellie called him a mother hen, which was really funny!" Kavan said with a giggle, and Soren nodded, adding on his own piece. "And Sir Ban told us to call him that to see what happened."
Meliodas snorted. "Of course he did."
_-_-_-_-_
Basically, Bartra is a little startled with Mama Mel, and VERY startled with Mama Ellie. He allows it once he understands the situation better, but as the weeks pass, he starts asking more and more about the nature of their relationship, because no PLATONIC pair acts like they do, and if he's going to have a son-in-law and grandsons, he wants to KNOW, dammit!
