🪨 CHIRON CHALLENGE 🪨 It’s been a hell of a week. I won’t go into the details but it has felt as though every possible trigger has been hit, personally, socially, financially. I have lost sleep (which I always prioritise highly) and lost my appetite (which only happens when I am very anxious or stressed). All the traumas locked in my body from years ago, and some embedded for years as conditioning like a chronic condition, have come up and out like a swarm of insects or a spooky army of little grinning wind-up toys. On occasion I found myself detaching and thinking “Haven’t we dealt with all this?” Apparently not. We are getting deep into the layers now. I’m sure you’ll understand what I mean when I say nighttime’s are 😱 and day times I’m like 🤡. Not that I’m not genuinely feeling happy at points, just that the spiral of anxiety is stronger at the moment. It’s time to have tea with my demons, to look them in the face, cut the unnecessary burden and give them their marching orders. At some moments I have felt stronger than ever. At other times I have been like a child, whimpering, hugging herself. This morning I saw a post that said Chiron’s retrograde phase ends on the 19th. I hadn’t picked up on this. Chiron represents the wounded healer, and therefore a retro, as I understand it takes us back into places where we have been deeply wounded. We get to be really honest and look all of this right in the face. My ragged self this week is testament to how deep my own wounds go. But as my Katy tells me, “you’re strong, you’ve been through all this before.” Next level challenge means next level transformation. For me, the areas where the challenges have been showing up are: 1. Relationship with money 2. Family relationships 3. So....yesterday was so not fun. My most excellent Spartan took #landoncalrissianofthelongtailclan to be put down and I went to school for my first anatomy exam of the semester. The exam was better than expected but the fate of poor Landon was as depressing as we thought it would be. We placed him in a good spot in the back yard and will be planting something fitting over him come spring. The Lordling handled his goodbyes manfully and even insisted on filling in the hole himself. What a champ. The rest of the evening was spent doing very little that was productive and we just hung out together as a family. I woke up this morning feeling miserable, I think the emotional and stressful past few days have run me down. I'm back at school for my first anatomy lab exam and I am so anxious about it. This pic is me trying to smile....its just not happening today. We are all entitled to a bad day every once in a while and today seems to be my allotted bad one. My attitude doesn't seem to be too terrible I'm just feeling #meh. I'm going to hit the gym after class and #sweatoutthosefeels then home for some #arttherapy and #scripturewriting, if I'm not in a better place after all that then I think I'll just go back to bed. Fuck you day 7.

Still sore from day 6, and super tired, I just...sucked. Really bad. Like, I know I'm not super flexible in the first place, and I know I did my best, but I still feel like I failed. Maybe it's the perfectionist in me, but I seriously considered quitting. I'm going to stick it out though, next day looks relaxing. Don't give up. Get better.

Going to get through this slow part of life, there will be struggles but I know the outcome will be worth even second.

Sure there is no outside excitement, but it's only a phase.

The grinding, the feeling of not wanting to go to work should only push, to want to get the fuck out of this town even more.
