i have that type of anxiety where like yes i have 8 different alarms for the exact same thing. in order to just get up for work.

and even then, ill put my phone against my cheek/have my hand on it so i WAKE up because god i dont trust my body not to just sleep through shit -- its been done it multiple times. the vibration from the alarm ik will jolt me awake.

even going as far as to have one alarm before i even have to wake up just so i can feel good about snoozing it. "oh man i still got time."

idk im just like all over the place. i hate almost sleeping through shit and YEAH idk what u call this but ik im not normal but it makes sense to me.

I'm thinking about Vander x reader- im thinking about a story where they are maybe childhood friends and then they end up fighting on the bridge together but get separated and no one knows where Reader is so they assume theyre dead only for them to show up a year later.

Imagine Reader showing up at the last drop as its closing and Vander has his back to them and tells them that hes about to close up shop and they just sit down and maybe ask for a super specific thing that they always used to order and he like turns around and realises its them and it goes from there.

I know people are in agony with the new season so I thought I might as well throw some silly little ideas out into the wild. Please tag me if anyone writes this- not because its my idea but because im desperate for more Vander please and thank you.

so the dust smokes headcanon is really popular!!! i have an addition to it :33 cigarette smoke CLINGS to your body for a loooong loooong time,,,,, i don't know if monster dust has a smell but if it does maybe the cigarette smoke from his cigarettes could be used to cover up that smell so he doesn't have to deal with the scent of death all the time and yk,,,, feel the guilt :33

Belphie blinks at you in greeting as you slide under the covers with him, only humming gently when you hold onto him for dear life. Dark indigo eyes noticing with interest that you haven't even started getting ready for RAD yet---not that he was one to talk---the Avatar of Sloth merely gives you a lazy smirk and wraps his tail around you under the covers as you whisper a strangled out, 'hide me'.

He nods slowly, his throat feeling much too heavy, and he himself feeling much too lazy to use his words. A pale hand pulls the covers over your head, just in time too, as Lucifer bursts into the room, ruby red eyes shining like a wolf on the hunt.

"Have you seen MC?" The eldest asks, paying no mind to the usual sound of morning chaos coming from the rest of the house.

Belphie lets out a strangled, lazy, "Nope." all the while his tail tightens around you.

Lucifer shakes his head. Looking at the you shaped lump under the covers. Merely pinching the bridge of his hooked nose and sighing, "MC. If you wanted a break from RAD, you could've just asked instead of opting to hide."

You pop out from under the covers, eyes wide like a deer in headlights, Belphegor's arms wrap around you from under the covers, his eyes sleepily tracing the features of your face as you speak.

"Right.....yeah. Sorry Luci?" You tilt your head, the Avatar of Pride's eyes soften a fraction.

"Be sure to catch up on your schoolwork, we only have room for one academic failure in this house and I'm afraid that spot has permanently been reserved for Mammon." Lucifer says sternly, though you can see the faintest upward quirk of his lips.

"Aye aye Captain." You nod, sleepily saluting the eldest.

"Belphegor."

Belphie turns to look at his eldest brother.

"Just because MC has a day off school, it doesn't mean you have one. Your uniform's hanging up by your desk." The ebony-haired demon walks out of the room.

"...Diavolo fucking dammit."

What do you think wander lore would be like if we had a third season ?

i really don't know, it would depend on how much of his backstory was ever intended to be revealed. like he gets close to talking about the other names people used for him in the past, and he's excited to show sylvia what he was up to a thousand years ago, but like, would we get an explanation for that little shaking wander he's so afraid of in the wanders? would we get to know what made wander so helpless he wanted to make sure nobody ever felt that way again? would we see a home planet, or a family, or any old traveling companions? or is he doomed to be vague because it makes him more magical?

honestly i think it would probably include like. a couple of little lore-drops to expand on a little more, but it wouldn't leave the audience without like a hundred more questions. i think the speculation is really fun, anyway, so i dunno if i would rather know his full life's story or if i'd rather keep guessing at whatever is most interesting to me. im just like these people except cooler and less wrong (slash j)

and tbh i don't have any real headcanons for wander's actual origin point because everything i think about feels a little unsatisfying and makes him a little too dr who. in my head, wander's been around for however long it takes the universe to forget the imprint of whatever brought him into existence in the first place, and that's all i can speculate on without feeling like melodie and her expansive tale of family and feels or whatever

summary: there was no snow to fall here and nanami kento still felt like he was in a dream.

notes: i wanted to cuddle nanami kento that's the only one constant in this fix it fic. also there is no snow in tropical countries. i used to want snowy dec, but i think nanami will take comfort in it and perhaps it's okay now. this is a fluff, but there is an undertone of effect of trauma on nanami as this is jjk. nothing explicit, but just a heads up. written with f!reader in mind, could be read as gn.

as the rain fall in december, it dawned upon nanami kento that he was in a very different new place already.

"kento, do you hear me?" a hand, followed closely by your voice, gently pulled him back to where he was. slowly turning his head, finding you leaning on his hand whilst wrapping both of yours around it, once again, it became hard for him to realize that it was not a dream.

it was near the kuantan beach, it was his books stacked neatly beside him, it was him sitting on a foreign hotel sofa facing the cityscape, and it was you who felt as familiar as a long-forgotten home.

"kento?"

the winter was supposed to be approaching, but there was no snow.

but there would be no snow here, would it? in the same way that there would be no curses dragging him out into a battlefield, away from your hands.

"kento, you are worrying me now," you started to frown—kento noted how seeing it in such a setting here felt pleasant, "are you lacking sleep? ah, you read too much last night didn't you!"

"i did not. please do not push such accusation to me," kento replied to you blandly and curtly. contrary to his tone, however, he shifted and heaved out a short sigh the moment he managed to get you closer to his side. a hand on your hip as he rested his head on the cushion, leaning back right next to yours.

it felt like a dream. it really felt like one.

this was too nice.

it almost felt like he was running out of time—

right beside him, you too leaned towards him even further. "then why are you spacing out so much?" you asked, before adding reprimandingly, "just so you know if it really is because you lost track of time reading, we are setting alarm."

"that is too much," he said, closing his eyes.

"is it now, mr. 'treat holiday like an overwork'?"

"i do not treat it like that. i hate overwork."

"then you should be able to relax and take time here. we still have many days left, no need to rush through those books," you huffed. kento couldn't see it, but he could imagine how you puffed out your chest.

"it seems that you have become a little bit more strict since we arrived here," kento noted, sleepiness seeping into his voice.

"of course. i have to keep you healthy in case you overdo it on this vacation!" a hand reached out to his shoulder, messaging it lightly before it crawled up to rest on the back of his neck.

it felt real.

it felt so real—the feeling of your skin, the weight, and warmth of it—and yet he—

kento sighed, not knowing what else to say. "i see."

then, feeling the heaviness weighted down even further behind his eyes, kento gently called your name.

humming, you replied to him. "what is it?"

"i will be sleeping for a bit. please do wake me up in a few minutes."

"eh? in this position? you will get a sore neck, you know?"

kento knew you were right. however, being like this—exactly like this, with you, with everything, with the sound of rain from outside of the window—it was hard for him to resist. after all, once a man got a taste of their dream, it would be hard for them not to soak in it.

"it wouldn't be a problem. i have had worse."

"...so this is your vacation mode, huh?" you teasingly mused. "but, okay, go to sleep. i will wake you up later."

nanami kento still thought this was a dream. it was too nice for it not to be.

but with your fingers tangling with his hair, with the slight gentle tug and company you offered him, with the smell of the book and unfamiliar room, and everything as it was—

"good night, kento. let's take a walk on the beach later, okay?"

there was no snow to fall here and nanami kento still felt like he was in a dream.

but he was happy, and it was enough.
