PSA: CAT MEDICAL BILL SCAM

Please signal boost this if possible to inform your followers about these scams.

Earlier today, I got a message from the account nicole-loves-king, where they asked me to signal boost a post because their cat needed medical help. Here's the ask:

I looked at this post and was immediately put off because they were asking for people to send things through 'friends and family', which if you aren't aware, is a very insecure way to send someone funds using paypal, because you don't have the protections you would get if you used 'goods and services'. So scammers can make off w your money really easily.

I looked at their blog and scrolled down to the end, and I realized their blog was made today! And, all their posts (there weren't many posts to begin with lol) were of trending topics. I noted puss in boots, and welcome to nightvale among others. This is probably how they found me, because I reblogged some of that stuff recently.

In their ask, they also tell you to answer privately. Hm, that seems sus. Why would someone not want you to publish a request for help?

So I have a policy where I don't signal boost posts from brand new blogs because, yknow, they could be scams. I posted this, and the scam account blocked me. They also blocked my friend when they replied to their ask and said their blog looked suspicious. I did some more digging, and I found a comment from someone that confirmed my suspicions:

This is in fact a scam!

@nicstonka is almost identical to the above account (nicole-loves-king). Look at the avatar, the pictures, and the paypal address, both accounts even have 'nic' (as in 'nicole') in the name. The only thing that is extremely different is the name of the cat! Yet both blogs also have the name of the cat in their url ('king' and 'tonka'). That should also be a red flag, because usually someone isn't gonna have the name of their pet in their url, only a few posts, and a signal boost for that exact (fake) pet.

So if you see any blogs like this, where all they have is trending posts, it seems like they've copied and pasted an ask to you, or if they're asking you to send things via friends and family, vet them so so so carefully, because chances are you're walking into a scam. Don't just repost things without carefully checking! If you aren't in a position to check carefully, better safe than sorry: don't repost it! Don't let these scams spread.

Pro tip: If a blog is dash only, so you can't view their archive to see when their first post was made, and you're on desktop, you can just open the blog in its dashboard view, then click 'end' on your keyboard over and over until all their posts are loaded. Usually if it's a spam blog, you'll only need to click 'end' 5-6 times, sometimes a bit more, since they only post just enough times to give the appearance they're active, then there's absolutely nothing after that.

If you want more proof someone is a scammer, you can look at the currency they use their post (or the currency shown in the vet bill), then hover over the paypal link and inspect the part of the url that says 'country.x=AA'. The 'AA' is the abbreviation for the country your money is going to! If that country doesn't match the country of the currency shown in the post, it's a scam! Example: someone's post says '$' for USD/CAD dollars, but the country in their paypal link is 'PH', which stands for Philippines, where they use Philippine pesos, not dollars!

Also keep in mind that these are not bots! There is a real person behind these accounts. They have replied to people who wanted to confirm they were real, but their intentions are still to scam you, they just know it looks better if they reply.

I don't know if you already posted about this but I want advice :D

I'm studying the equivalent to High School in my country (two years only) and I'm trying to strive more. Lately I have realised that I never have free time. I spend the afternoons studying, then I have dinner with my parents, watch something on TV, go to sleep and at those hours I'm so tired that I don't have the energy to do anything else I enjoy. Meanwhile, I see my friends and others at my class going out, going to extracurriculars, getting things done faster...

I've always had the feeling that I only do the things I like during summer break.

I can't help but wonder how am I gonna do when I'm in collage (if I actually get there)!

I would like to ask you if you had any advice, or tips about managing time etc

Hii, sorry it took me so long to answer! From what I heard, it sounds like so kind of burnout. I'm no expert on this topic, so I'm going to leave the links of the sources just in case! (x) (x)

One of main components it's exhaustation. Feeling tired all the time and having no energy. Not only it impacts the mental and physicial health, but the perfomance. This usually stems of being always "on", overwork culture/mentality, pressure (whether internal or external) and the dislike of the tasks. What I recommend is:

Actually rest. Do activities that make mentally rest or dont do any activity, just take some time for yourself. Listen to your favourite music, take a bath, do some breathing exercise. Relax. Here are some more mental rest activities.

Dont beat yourself for resting. A lot of times, we "rest" but it isnt actually rest, because instead of focusing on yourself you are worrying about not doing anything productive 24/7. That looks like rest, but it isnt, it is just more tiring. All the toxic productivity mentality has to go.

Schedule time to do nothing. Establish clear moments for resting.

Take breaks.

Prioritaze tasks. Yes, we all want to have everything done perfectly and complete, but sometimes that is just impossible. The best way to classify them in order is 1) urgent and important; 2) not urgent but important; 3) urgent but no important; and 4) not urgent not important.

Have a good sleep schedule.

Drink water and eat all your meals

Find a hobbie or something you are passionate or at least midly interested on. Something that fills you with joy and seek to. At the beggining it will feel like a waste of time, but once you find something, well, let's just say, try it.

Another thing is the mindset. Negative thinking is unmotivating and tiring. Switching to a more possitive mentality does wonders.There are a lot of ways to reframe negative thoughts, I'm not familiar with most of them so I cant really explain, but here is an article that explains on detail how to do it.

Even though exhaustation and mentality are key to feeling burn out, inefficiency also has an important role. There are millions of study methods, but not a single one works for every person. Maybe you use a "good" study technique, but it isnt the right one for you. I'd recommend trying new ways of studying you havent tried before, see if at least one works for you. I'm going to honest with you, I dont know a lot of methods, since i found the one that works with me I havent tried new ways, here is a list of study methods with explanations that I'm using to draft future posts. Here are the links for the posts are posted about blurting, feynman and pq4r, if any of those sound helpful.

SELF CARE!!!!! Self-care is so important. It's been a common theme in this post, but I will repeat it once more, take care of yourself.

If these are also helpful, I'll leave the links for previous posts about motivation to start, motivation in general, and a reward system for motivation. Not all the tips in those posts will work, actually, some of them may contradict with what I just said, but I posted them with a different situation in mind. Take the tips that will help you and ignore the ones you think will just make it worse.

Hi sugar. I know I’ve answered this question multiple times, but I can’t find my answers! LOL! So, I hope I can remember everything I’ve said before.

1. Make an eye catching moodboard or some sort of teaser post.

2. Write a catchy summary that will entice readers (don’t make it too long, don’t add every detail, you just want to intrigue people).

3. Tag your fic well (ie: make sure you use tags that people would search in AO3––”friends to lovers”, not “they’re friends and then they fall in love OH MY GOD!” Many people search for specific tropes/kinks/pairings to find fics)

4. Make sure you add a link at the end of your fic to your rebloggable fic post/tweet so if the reader has liked the fic, they can spread the word.

4. This is a super helpful post about how to find new fics to read. You can use it to see how to make your fics easier to find.

5. It’s an old post, but it contains a list of fic reccers. Check out their blogs to see if they’re still active, and then ask if they’d be willing to reblog your fic post. I’m one of them, and I’m happy to share your post when you’re ready.

6. If you’re on Twitter, I know there are fic rec accounts there and maybe someone can suggest how to find them. I’d message them as well.

7. Having your own blog would help. At the very least, you can have a blog dedicated to your writing and post inspiration for your fics that people can check out. But interacting with other bloggers is probably the best way to make friends and get people interested in supporting you.

So like I'm attempting to fill out this ship chart meme thing. Like those ones where you introduce the ship and mark up bars and answer questions about them. Anyway point is now I'm thinking about Itaru referring to Citron as his wife, work vs streaming.

Work:

He accidentally one time said wife and whoever he was talking to latched onto that detail and never forgot. Itaru tried in that moment to just keep going and not focus on that detail for long because explaining in person to people who see you every day that "no, not my actual wife but my troupe mate who plays the part of mom, where I play the part of dad, in our Spring Troupe etude that has become a running not really gag but a constant in our dynamic to the point that yes I just accidentally referred to him as my wife but like he's not like really my wife it's like an inside joke of sorts" is more embarrassing than basically saying as much in a Mother's Day blog post just saying "yup" when someone's like "oh, you have a wife?" He doesn't actively bring up his wife. But sometimes they ask and he wants to appear normal and not at all overly avoidant on the topic so he gets conversations like:

Co-worker: Oh how's the wife? Itaru: Oh yeah, uhm, my wife is great. Was pretty happy we went out for sushi last night. Co-worker: Oh wasn't one of your toupemate's big on sushi? How fun, they probably get along. Itaru, sweating: Yup.

Chikage does eventually find out this is a thing and promptly makes fun of Itaru for it. ("Do they know about your kids?" "Don't you dare.")

Streams:

Since his stream followers don't know he's an actor at Mankai, I feel like if he was ever gonna mention Citron the safest way to keep his own identity on lock is to refer to him as "my wife" because so many people have wives it's totally not gonna give him away in the slightest. (as I type this I realize roommate/neighbor is also technically options but I didn't think of it at first so who's to say Itaru did immediately instead of immediately after a stream or two of refer to Citron as his wife.) So his followers know of Citron as his wife.

Of course, Mankai watches his videos sometimes but those are more commonly his uploads on their own time rather than his livestreams so story time in his lives. I think Citron would find out about it though and encourage but also sometimes be like "As your wife" where most of Mankai will assume it's the Spring Troupe family etude but Citron and Itaru both know it's about Itaru referring to Citron as such.(which was technical because of the Spring Troupe etude so it's not too far off lol)

I bet Banri also finds out like he just so happened to watch a stream where Itaru mentions "my wife" and Banri immediately texted him about it. I don't think Itaru does it often but the more he does it the more often he's gonna end up doing it ya know? Lol if that's how he accidentally ended up saying my wife at work which adds another layer to him not wanting to properly explain.

This is going to sound weird, but do you have any tips on how to gain traction as a fanfic writer? I've been trying for years and I get next to no interaction on my writing. I know I shouldn't care because I should be writing for myself, but it's still frustrating to see other writers get thousands of notes, and reblogs and asks praising their fics and I get maybe 20 likes. I've been looking into discord fandom groups but a lot of them don't allow people over 30, and I don't do well with busy groups anyway. I try to be active on my blog, and interact with other people and make myself approachable, but I'm getting so incredibly tired of talking to an empty space. Sorry, I think I ended up venting instead >_<

Omg hello my love!! First of all, I'm so sorry you feel this way! I have so many conflicting thoughts on this, let me try to get them in order for you!!

I guess, let me first start with some tips that I think actually answer your question, and then I'll just monologue about the ways I've been thinking about fandom recently, and you can skip that part if you wanna!

Part 1: Actual Thoughts on Your Question (lol)

I am possibly not in the best position to ask about this because I mostly happened to be in the right place at the right time, publishing my fics in the early part of the pandemic when people were more actively engaging in the fandom. But in my experience, outside of discord groups, other good ways to meet people and get your work out there are joining zines & collabs.

I'm not completely up-to-date with what the accounts are now that track these things, but there are several tumblrs and twitter accounts like BNHA Zines that exist to retweet & publicize zine posts. Look for zines that are in the interest check & application stages!! You can apply during the application phase and the good thing is that most zines will ask for an application piece and will judge you on your work rather than your follower count!!

Collabs are usually even easier because many of them are just open to whoever wants to join! I've only participated in server collabs but I've seen several posts cross my dash that are open to anyone. I'd probably monitor the collaboration and x reader tags on tumblr and join in on anything that looks fun!!

Another thing that I've noticed people do a lot is self-reblog their fics a couple times just to maximize their circulation. I've seen a lot of moots trying to make sure they hit good hours for different time zones and different days of the week to ensure their followers are at least aware that they've posted something if they don't have notifs on (I don't have notifs on so I'm grateful for these because otherwise I miss a lot!!). Even I have srb'd a time or two if I'm particularly proud of something lol.

And I think, if I also wanted to be a shark about things, I would try to get in on the ground floor of a fandom in its early stages!! For example, the second season of JJK is coming out soon and it's sure to bring a wave of new readers to the JJK fandom, especially for the characters like Gojo and Getou who look like they're gonna be the main focus of the season.

I think if you wanted to be extra sharp about things, you might time a fic release with some of the first couple episodes of a new season where you can be sure more people than usual will be poking around in the tags!! And if your fic is published during the early stages of a fandom, it's going to have more eyes on it overall than a fic published towards the conclusion of the series.

Anyway this is what I could think of. I hope this advice is practical and useful!! Now onto me blathering.

Part 2: Resisting Influencer Culture in Fandom Spaces

This part might be kind of controversial. I want to first acknowledge how easy it is for me to think and say these sorts of things when I'm already more than pleased with the amount of engagement I get. And I want to recognize that it is so, so deeply human to want recognition, community, and support for the things that we write.

I think it is so completely natural that you want interaction on your writing. All of us totally do, otherwise we wouldn't be publishing it publicly. If our work was truly, singularly for us and us alone, we'd keep it in the drafts lol. We put it out there hoping for praise and appreciation and connection, and in my opinion there is no shame in that.

So, admission time: I also definitely compare myself to other writers, and I have several times thought about transitioning more towards the type of content that drives higher note counts on tumblr: smuttier one-shots usually under 10k! I can see a huge difference in terms of just my own work on how my one-shots typically do in comparison to chaptered fics. And I definitely see how fast smutty imagines shoot up there in terms of note count.

But I was listening to a podcast episode recently on trying to sort of transition away from a metrics-focused approach to fandom. In the podcast, they talk about how in trying to legitimize fanfic as a literary mechanism, we've also sort of accidentally subjected it to our capitalist-influencer-mindset, where we see fic as more legitimate the more kudos it gets or the more followers it nets you, because in traditional influencer spaces, those followers are potential capital.

I'm definitely not saying you or I see people as potential revenue streams, but I think probably neither of us are immune to the culture at large, and we both probably carry some of internalized sense of our own value based on metrics, reach, and influence. And that sucks!!!!

Fandom, of all things, is supposed to be a specifically anti-capitalist space. We can't make money off of fanfic or fanart (legally, anyway lol), and we're all not the owners of the franchises either so none of our takes are necessarily more "valid" or weightier than others!! We're all supposed to just be trading stories around a campfire with no thought to their literary merit or monetary value. We're just supposed to enjoy the stories.

So, I don't know what the right answer is about how to try to resist the influences of our capitalist culture at large; I'm hoping someone smarter than me will tell me. But I do know that in fanfic, the value of your story can absolutely never be determined by how much engagement you get. Because fandom is not about metrics, and there is no inherent value in metrics. There is only the fun you had creating the story, and the depth of the connection you made with someone over it--even if that's just one other person.

And so I personally am at least trying to resist the lure of transitioning to smutty one-shots even though I think a lot of people would like that. Because what I like doing is writing my little 30k multi-chaps; those are my fave kinds of stories to tell, I'm not letting my metrics tell me what I should be writing.

I hope, at the very least, you know that your worth and the value of your story is not defined by how many other people have read it. And if you ever wanna chat more about this let me know, I'm still figuring this all out myself and could use friends to explore it with!!

AAAA thank you! I'm glad people are liking it, I was worried other's wouldn't like the change. Not saying I would've kept the old style which I was unhappy with as this is my project and I know I should do what I like with my own projects, I was just worried the designs and styles might've not been peoples tastes and stuff, I personally like more detailed designs and more colors though so I've been way more happy with these designs! So I haven't read all your fics, honestly only some of them and I have loved literally all of them equally that I cannot choose the best. As a Renjun biased person I am always super crazy about blondes are done with fun and portrait of a blank slate (and they also had the smut tag sksks). Now now idk why am I explaining this but it is necessary I think. So I am someone who prefers to read longer fics with the smut tag among other tags because i am a bit 😈 lol and mainly because if they are completely wholesome (fluffy, angsty, etc) and innocent I get so attached and so delusional, especially because they are fan fics, and I start feeling crazy and am not able to get over easily because they are so pure. Smut personally gives me a sense of detachment and reality and it's a bit comic and hot of course. So yeah this is also one of the reasons I have read only a few fics of yours. But the latest one I read was Liebestraum and GOD OH MY GODDDDDD, idk where to begin, it's been a while, I think I read it last year and it didn't have any smut iirc, I got so so so so so attached, each time I looked at your blog, it reminded me of those long summer days, Jisung lying on the floor, feeling empty, the angst, the longing, the fic felt so real. The ending almost made me cry, and the almost crying feeling is the worst, because you're not able to let out anything but you're not able to keep it in either. It was very bittersweet. And the yearning, the longing for idk what, hurt, hurt so much but hurt so good. I listened to your playlist as well and after that I used to listen to Liebestraum a lot and each time I used to picture all that, the scenes, the feelings, etc. I think I am still not completely over it, to be able to read anything else from your blog. But it felt so painfully good. I really really loved it so much, I felt as if I lived it in real time. It felt like I was there, in the room when Jisung was lying on the floor in his aunt's house, not so fond of the summer break, or when him and y/n went to the beach(?) or when they did fun activities together, I was there with them, it felt so real, I could almost touch them... uh hey man u don’t gotta answer this ask but i wanted to send it in after seeing that post about like hobbies. i feel the same a lot about trying to do things and it’s incredibly frustrating. but idk if it’d help to tell you or not since it doesn’t help the “getting a good grade” aspect feeling, but i thought it was maybe worth it to tell you you’re one of the reasons i decided to pick up writing for tot and create a new writing blog and try to go back to doing something i love so much. your work has long inspired me and i hardcore look up to it, so to speak. but recently the other side of that coin was actually the fact that the breaks you take from writing inspire me more. i sometimes start to fret that i haven’t written in a while but then i think and think about how one of my favorite authors also takes breaks, sometimes really long breaks, and that it’s okay to take time between writing (or doing anything) because it’s not a competition or an emergency or really important in the grand scheme. i tend to not be the best at giving myself time to recover or take breaks when i start to not do as well, but the fact that you do has really helped me a lot.

idk if this was pointless or like um unnecessary to send but i wanted to tell you that something that’s been upsetting to you has still in some way been helpful and positive toward others, even if it’s just me, in hopes of maybe lightening that load a little from your shoulders. um im sorry again for sending this in and u don’t have to answer it or anything, but i thought maybe it could be helpful to tell you that something that’s been a struggle to you has still had a positive + slightly more healthy impact on me by showing me that if someone i look up to can take breaks or stop doing something entirely and fans like me will still stick around eagerly to see literally *whatever* you post and share, people would be willing to do the same for me and it’s okay to just take breaks from things or let them exist as hobbies and not goals to fulfill or deadlines to meet.

Fiona is a great character who deserved to actually fucking exist in bl3, and Lilith is really well written as understandably arrogant and capable! Also, Nakayama and Vasquez. I can’t take credit for being into those two because other people with extremely good taste did it first and influenced me, but it remains true. And ELLIE. I know “unpopular” isn’t strictly true of her because I think most people would say they like her, but Ellie is a gold star across every game she’s in and I wish there was even more of her and I wish people appreciated her more. One thing they don’t tell you about naming yourself after a video game character is the rammys when you try to read a fic and see Your Own Name in those situations.

There are so many quests that are just “drive around and kill 30 guys and pick up 8 items then drive here and kill 30 animals and pick up 8 more items then drive back and kill 30 guys and give me the items.”

I don’t really think there are overhyped things unless BL3 entirely counts as overhyped, which… not anymore. Honestly most of the stuff that’s hyped is fairly understandable. The most popular DLCs are inevitably the ones which are the most well-written with interesting mechanics.

most inaccurate is probably that I'm actually not sure whether I'd call myself an optimist or pessimist (though I do know that I make an effort to be outwardly more optimistic than I actually feel) and while I do absolutely adore the ocean I'm not sure I'd say that I'm particularly interested in marine biology specifically. it's one of those things I keep telling myself I want to do more research on but I never actually do it, so like, theoretically yes but not in practice? does this make sense?

I don't really know how to read WITHOUT doing this tbh? like of course there is a difference when I am actively engaging with it but sometimes I'll say something that seems pretty obvious to me and then people will be like "this is a great analysis!" lol

I actually started studying literature, but for various reasons (which include not being able to deal with a bunch of people clacking on their laptops at the same time the sound was literally driving me insane does anyone have any tips on how to deal with that) I stopped going after like a month

tho id say my favorite thing to analyze is actualy theater plays? especially because of the added element of speech (it feels unfair to judge an audiobook by this metric since books were primarily written to be read but theater is literally made to be spoken aloud and thus it is the authors duty to also think about the cadences of the words and what the different sounds feel like instead of just focusing on how it looks like on paper imo) and visuals

whenever I go with a friend (I need to go with someone so I can talk about it) I'll first ask them what they thought so I can gather my thoughts and kinda compare and then I won't shut up until we have to go out separate ways lol

3. which is a great way to get into the third point: I do have opinions about everything! (unless I don't have a lot of information on the topic in question). I always keep myself open for counter arguments (my biggest fear is becoming one of those obnoxious stubborn ignorant people who are proud of being stuck in their ways and categorically refuse to even consider other viewpoints and opinions) but unless this is about something factual where you have more experience/facts than me it's actually pretty hard to convince me.

I think I also have a pretty approachable aura? I'm often asked for directions and stuff (which is always a shame for the people asking because i am lostTM)

5. okay so. this is actually a fun exercise to do. because characters in books need to be fairly simple at their core (so the author can write them consistently) while creating the illusion of being complex and layered - and you can kind of do the same thing to real people!

in my mind that makes me a bad shittalker because I'll be actively doing this while you are trying to tell me about something shitty someone else did to you. I'll try to look at it from various angles (at least within the realm of the possible when going solely by a very biased POV) which often comes across as defending them? but I think this is a rather unpopular opinion since I can't count the times I've heard "I know you don't like to shittalk people, but-" as a conversation starter lol

6. I am! a sarcastic shit! I can clearly tell the difference between my sarcasm and my serious voice, but people say that it sounds the same to them (which just makes it more fun tbh lol) tho I think that's only fair considering I often have a hard time telling when other ppl are being serious vs not

7. idk where I am on the optimism pessimism scale tbh. when I was small I figured out this neat magic trick where if u pretend to have really low expectations things seem even cooler than they actually are. it makes sense (expectations and everyone is master of their own reality and contrast etc etc) but back then I genuinely thought I had unravelled the fabric of the universe lol

so like. I'll always be kinda expecting the worst while at the same time not quite believing it? so I'm not disappointed when the "worst" does indeed happen but am also not actively psyching myself out? idk the only gymnastics I'm good at are the mental ones

Greetings wonderful Citizens, and you nerds!

My name is Rose, mainly they/them pronouns but I enjoy the occasional 'he' figuratively thrown in there as well :P I've been following Sanders Sides for ~5 years at the time of writing this (that's my best estimate at least) and it's meant a lot to me, but beyond a couple of reblogs on my main here and there and comments under AO3 fics, I've never really participated in the fandom much and don't really know anyone who's actively into the series. I'm hoping to remedy all of that with this little side blog!

Now, a couple Side-related things about me...

Current Favorite Side?

Logan for sure- Though, Roman might have recently become an additional favorite as well. Those two have SO many issues I love them so much...

and if you're wondering if that "them" right here refers to the Sides or their Issues™, you'll find that the answer is simply "yes" :P

Initial favorite side?

Early on it was Virgil, I believe! Followed by the microsoft nerd in second place, then on equal footing. I don't actually remember at what point that stuff changed and Logan became my fave🤔

What about the other sides?

Well, first of all how I feel about Janus changes every other day, lol.

Patton has been getting a lot more interesting! I used to not be a big fan because I'm not really one for the extremely bubbly characters - much like I used to not like Roman as much as the others, actually. But nowadays Patton himself is having some Issues™ and that is something I very much enjoy hehe

Virge used to be my favorite, but for some reason my brain doesn't latch onto him as much as it used to. Still love him! But, he's a bit more in the background when I think about the Sides nowadays.

Remus is a trash goblin. He can be really funny sometimes and I love some of his mannerisms, but alas I'm not the biggest fan beyond that- Well, not the biggest fan of him, but I'm still very glad that he's a part of the series. DWIT and WTIT are two of my favorite episodes, actually.

And as for the orange side... at the time of writing this, we don't know anything about orange other than his appearance in WTIT and a couple of theories. Personally, I really really want Logan himself to be orange. I think that would lead to a lot of interesting growth for him as a character and would really shake up the entire cast - along with bringing some more context to his general tendency towards being a little hot-headed on occasion.

Favorite ship?

I don't really do a lot of shipping. If I had to choose one it would be Logince - Logan and Roman both have SO MANY ISSUES that they're just burying or hiding and they just. They fit so well together, whether platonically or otherwise.

Any AUs?

As of writing this, I've not really delved much into the realm of AUs. At least not ones that aren't canon-adjacent.

But I am working on one within my brain-cage! It's likely gonna stay there, beyond some art if I feel like it, unless someone ends up messaging me about it. It also doesn't really have a name set in stone just yet, so as of right now I just refer to it as the Lost Sides AU. It moves the timeline around a bit, particularly on how early Creativity split, considers the sides to maybe be not entirely imaginary (magic stuff. still trying to work that part out properly), and gives Logan a hell of a lot more trauma, haha. I'm working on spotify playlists for the guys from this AU right now, too :V

Favourite types of fics to read?

ideally? hurt/comfort, platonic logince-centric, somewhat canon-adjacent universe, no nsfw, if orange is in it he's not a separate side but rather just another part of Logan

But I also just generally tend to enjoy Logan and/or Roman-centric canon-adjacent sfw hurt/comfort stuff. I'm a sucker for angst but prefer when it has a good ending eventually :v

Prefacing this with the fact that I am simply... not a good cook 🤣 Or maybe a better way to phrase that is I'm a lazy ass cook. So while I watch these, just know that if a recipe calls for more than about 5 ingredients or takes longer than 30 minutes, I probably haven't attempted to make it myself yet. I'm also not fully vegan at this point in my life, I'm just vegetarian but it's much easier to find vegan recipe blogs tbh.

Caitlin Shoemaker is an absolute must for me. She has some of the best EASY recipes to follow imo.

Make It Dairy Free is also a go-to for me. For the recipes but also they post these fun product taste test videos that are very helpful for knowing how different vegan products actually taste and if they're worth the increased price tag.

Pick Up Limes has some great recipes but is also just aesthetically pretty to watch. Feels like a professional studio set up (probably is idk that much about these people lol)

Recently been getting very into Alexandra Andersson's videos. I know next to nothing about her but I already have a couple recipes of hers bookmarked to try out soon.

Vegan Richa has very short & sweet videos that are such a good resource for me. Many saved recipes from them.

BOSH is one that I follow but don't think I've managed to make a single recipe of theirs lol.

One of my faves used to be Sweet Potato Soul but she hasn't uploaded to youtube in over a year, but still highly recommend her videos/recipes.

The Chic Natural is another one that doesn't post too many recipe/food videos but I still follow her cause she's awesome in general.

Vegan But Lazy is another one that is no longer active but I mean... the title alone makes it obvious why I have so many of their videos bookmarked.

Edgy Veg feels like a staple. I honestly don't watch too many of her videos these days but I think this channel may have been the first I had ever followed back in my early vegetarian days.
