It's a little objectively crazy, part of Steve's brain can acknowledge. That they're out there on his back patio, that the sun's going down but it's not even really dark out yet, early autumn so still pretty warm, though that's not why Steve's shirt is hanging half-open, that's not why he's got sweat standing out on his forehead and why he's panting like he's just swam a few laps.

He knows it's objectively crazy, but the part of Steve's brain that's insisting that is really small, actually tiny, drowned out completely by the rest of Steve's brain firmly instructing him to lean forward, wrap a hand across the back of each one of Eddie's thighs, and drag a long lick up the shiny red miniskirt stretched across his hips.

Eddie laughs, low and deep in his throat, and wraps a hand tight in Steve's hair. He teeters a little bit on the go-go boots wrapped around his calves, and his grip tightens (they can't quite zip all the way up, though Steve could only muscle them so far when Eddie had one planted in the middle of his chest, looking down at him all serious and demanding and confident in a way that made Steve's fine motor control completely fizzle out).

If any part of Eddie's brain is worried about how exposed they are, how he in particular is shirtless in just a red fake-leather miniskirt, one foot planted on either side of the deck chair Steve is planted in, it doesn't show. Or at least, Steve doesn't feel it, when he groans against the material pressed against his lips and feels an answering jerk from behind it. Or when Eddie plants a knee on the arm of the deck chair, finally letting Steve trail his tongue up the inside of his thigh, nudging the skirt out of the way with his nose to get at a proper taste of him.
