i am so sorry bylers. i am so very incredibly sorry. i keep trying to post and failing at it. stuff isn't going great for me right now. i truly love all of you that see something in my shitty byler posts, because even if it seems trivial, even silly, to you, it has me getting out of bed in the morning. byler community is at such a high point right now and I so badly want to post, but i keep deleting and overthinking and its stressing me out when really, it shouldn't, because i normally love posting. so i just cant right now. i am so sorry to everyone who supports. i'm just taking a posting break, but will probably lurk around. i love you all, truly 💙💛

Will and Holly S5 headcanons 💛

Will adores Holly. Like head over heels. He's never had a little sibling, and tries to emulate Jonathan to be a good 'big brother' to her.

Holly feels the same, even proclaiming that she's going to marry Will someday (Mike spits his drink)

Oh yeah he's living at the Wheelers' temporarily

He braids her hair and puts it in ponytails before school

He helps her with homework, but says 'hey, how about we play barbies for a while?' when she's looking a bit too frazzled

Will is always available to play Barbies. No questions asked. It's 7am on a Saturday? Yep. He's out with his friends? He'll come home. He's possessed again? Screw off Vecna, somebody needs to be Skipper.

He teachers her painting/art techniques

He hangs up her art on his side of the room he shares with Mike, or the fridge

Sometimes Holly gets scared with all the supernatural stuff going on, even if she doesn't understand it. She'll rush to Will in the middle of the night when the helicopters frighten her, and Will will always wake up to give her a hug, to reassure her, to sneak downstairs and make some hot chocolate and then carry her upstairs when she gets sleepy again.

When they play D and D, sometimes Will will lie about the roll needed to kill a monster just so she can win. Oh, and she knows to always cast fireball when she can.

Bonus: Mike is super jealous of Will's affections towards Holly, and tries to be more big brotherly to her too, only to brood when Holly downright refuses him and continues seeking Will's attention.

i've mentioned before that will is super bundled up this season. it's november in indiana, understandably cold, but he's wearing like a lot of layers.

there's been lots of details suggesting a possessed will this season.

imagine. he realizes he's possessed and immediately doesn't want to scare anyone, and when he starts feeling hot for no reason, he panics and throws on heavy clothes. he's sweating like crazy, feeling overheated and in pain, but he knows he can't tell anyone. not with everything that's going on.

and part of him doesn't want to accept it. he doesn't want to go through it again.

so he pretends.
