He took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of his nose even as Dan cackled while opening the door more to let them inside. “Alright, what’s your name, kids?”

“B-billy…um, Billy Batson...” “‘m Percy! Percy Jackson.”

i rarely post to shit on a show but this Brillant Minds show is TERRIBLE. First of all, give me more chemistry between Dr Wolf and his hot surgeon love interest. Do not engineer it through the story, or at least, find actors who have chemistry ffs.

Second, can y'all stop with the pity porn and must save everyone attitude? sending the message that it's better to live without making new memories than to choose the way you go and making peace with it??? wtf !! if it actually explored the patient's emotions and thought process, it would have been 1 story of 1 person, and not like... a whole ass message to the public. but this is Dr Wolf forcing people to do things. it's not 'cause you can keep someone breathing and their heart beating that you should. it should be their choice. pretending a life can be lived perfectly ('cause that's another problem! they're not even acknowledging how hard recovery and all can be thi sis just look at them relearning to walk, so easy! relearning to be with people while not making any new memories when you've just reached middle age! you've got a whole half of life to go through without making any new memories!) even if """slightly""" altered. sorry but quality of life is heavily altered in most of these cases, they're not acknowledging it and they're pretending lil' post it notes are gonna solve everything.

also the intern joking about her anxiety and depression and how she's taking pills all the time for it? not enjoying it in the slightest. it doesn't make the show nor the character likeable.

My special talent is that i was a choir kid pre-t so I was trained forced to sing soprano/alto so I maintain that vocal register to this day if I practice. And I've been practicing lately so idk what's more embarrassing

hurting my throat because no amount of techniques will save me from Skipping The Warmup (especially now that I incorporate screaming bc I wanna write music like that)
