Apricity the Glowl is from Amber Island. When he was 20 they tried to evolve in the crucible- but something went horribly wrong and caused him to only evolve halfway. Instead of being shy or self-conscious about his looks, they managed to achieve a small celebrity following, embracing his newfound uniqueness.

Adonis & Apollo are a Quibble. Instead of agreeing whether to grow up or not, these two idiots remained undecided and arguing for long enough that this happened. The pink head is Apollo, he is immature and chaotic. On the other hand, the green head is Adonis, and he is far more serious. Growing up he had a kind of ‘I’m a big boy now’ vibe if you know what I’m talking about. He still does, so I’m a way they’re both immature.

Neither of their beaks grew, but Adonis’ beak extender is designed to look more like a real beak. They live on Fire Oasis. (A lot of my ocs live on the fire islands)

“next rendition of chorus,” those of you who’ve been following this series a while may say. “but good lird whimsy you’ve already rebooted it twice! when will it end!”

OKAY! THIS IS NOT ANOTHER REBOOT! Think of it more as a little polish. While the last two generations meant mags and I completely rethought and changed up major things in the story and organization of Chorus, I’m calling this little revamp “3.5” rather than “4” because we’re keeping everything we had established with it for now but just adjusting some things and rewriting the currently public chapters, because I just feel like I can do better and present the story in a way I’ll be more satisfied with.

I am also moving Chorus from tumblr to AO3 (don’t worry if you don’t have an account, you’ll still be able to read it!) for various reasons, namely way better formatting, resources and chapter links that won’t break every five seconds.

This has been in the works a while and I’m already halfway through rewriting all the current chapters!! Hoping to keep this momentum, as we’ve garnered quite a following on discord and have been feeling more inspired and motivated to continue producing chorus content than ever. Thank you so so much to everyone engaging with and supporting Chorus both on tumblr and in the msm fan community on discord <3 EXTRA thank you to @thejesshihowareya for sowing so much interest in the series amongst his group and providing us with a space to speak about it! bless you jesstie
