The afternoon sun streamed through the tall windows of the school hallways, casting soft, golden light on Y/n as she walked with a noticeable bounce in her step. A bright smile lit up her face, and in her hand was a small cone of ice cream, which she licked contentedly. She looked like a sweet angel, her joyful energy spreading around her like sunshine.
Beside her, Sunghoon walked with his hands stuffed in his pockets, his eyes fixed forward, face blank, like he couldn’t care less about anything happening around him. His usual cold, intimidating presence stood in sharp contrast to the warm light she brought with her. The other students in the hall were wary of him, their eyes lowering as they passed, whispers swirling in the air.
“Isn’t that Sunghoon?”
“He looks so scary...”
“What’s Y/n still doing with him?”
The whispers weren’t lost on Y/n. She could hear the murmurs, feel the stares. Her steps faltered slightly, but then she leaned closer to him, nudging him lightly with her shoulder. Her voice was soft, like a secret meant just for him.
"Just ignore them, Hoonie" she said, her smile unwavering despite the growing tension around them. "They don’t know anything about you."
He glanced at her, expression still unreadable, but there was a flicker of something softer in his eyes. A small sigh left his lips as his gaze flicked back to the students.
"I don’t care what they think," he said, his voice low and casual, as if none of it mattered. His eyes briefly caught hers, a quiet warmth under the tough exterior. "As long as you’re next to me, Angel."
At that moment, her heart skipped a beat, the corners of her lips lifting in a shy smile. She always melted a little when he called her that. Angel—his pet name for her—was something so sweet and personal, it never failed to make her feel special.
But the effect of that single word was much bigger than she realized. The students in the hallway, already whispering, suddenly let out audible gasps. Heads turned, and the once-muted whispers escalated.
"He called her Angel?"
"Did you hear that?"
"What is even happening right now?"
The tension in the air was thick, but Y/n wasn’t fazed. She kept her head high, finishing her ice cream with a bright smile, completely unfazed by the reactions of those around them. Beside her, Sunghoon maintained his calm, unfazed by the stir his simple term of endearment had caused.
In that moment, it didn’t matter to either of them what anyone else thought. It was just them, walking together, as if the rest of the world didn’t exist.

The sun hung high over the quad as Y/n walked with a couple of her friends, laughter and light conversation filling the space between them. They were chatting about random things—weekend plans, a funny moment from class—when her attention shifted to the other side of the quad.
In the distance, she spotted Sunghoon, his familiar, tall figure walking with his group of friends. As usual, students around them kept their distance, their heads low as they moved out of the way. His group, known for their intimidating presence, had that effect on everyone. The air around them felt thicker, quieter—until she broke it.
Without hesitation, she raised her arm and called out, "Hoonie!" Her voice rang out across the open space, bright and cheerful. She waved at him with a big smile, completely oblivious to the attention she had just drawn.
Her shout cut through the noise of the quad. Heads turned, curious eyes following the direction of her gaze. Sunghoon, hearing her voice, paused mid-conversation. His eyes scanned the crowd before locking onto her. For a moment, his usual cool expression lingered, but then, unexpectedly, his lips curved into a small smile. He raised his hand, giving her a soft wave back.
That single smile—the rare, fleeting expression—seemed to shift the very atmosphere around him. The students, who were accustomed to seeing his stoic, unreadable face, were stunned.
"Did he just… smile?"
"I’ve never seen him smile before…"
"Wait, that’s what he looks like when he smiles?"
Whispers erupted among the crowd as they began to murmur in disbelief. The quad buzzed with low, shocked conversations as people exchanged glances. Some students stood frozen, processing what they'd just seen. For the first time, Sunghoon, the one they'd always viewed as cold and unapproachable, looked human.
"He’s… kind of handsome, isn’t he?" one girl whispered, nudging her friend.
"Yeah, I never noticed before, but with that smile…"
It wasn’t just the smile—it was the way he looked at Y/n, the way his expression softened, just for her. There was something so genuine in that moment, and for many of the students watching, it completely shattered the tough, distant image they had built of him.
The shift in perception was palpable. As Y/n continued walking, her friends giggling beside her, she had no idea that the simple wave and smile had sparked a quiet change. The students who had once feared or misunderstood him were now seeing a different side—a warmer, more human side—thanks to her.

The next day, the atmosphere around Sunghoon had noticeably changed. Walking side by side, Y/n chattered away about random things as he escorted her to her class. Though her words bounced around with lively energy, his focus never wavered from her, watching her intently, soaking in every detail of her presence.
As they moved through the hallway, something was different. The students, who used to avoid eye contact or shy away when he passed, were behaving… differently. No longer did they lower their heads or shuffle nervously to the side. Instead, some even made brief eye contact and gave short, polite nods of acknowledgment.
"Hey, Sunghoon," a student greeted as they walked by.
He didn’t respond verbally but gave a subtle nod back, his attention still centered on Y/n.
What really caught him off guard was when a couple of girls from another class shyly waved at him as they passed. "Good morning, Sunghoon!" one of them chirped.
Again, he acknowledged them with a small nod but didn't waver from his focus. His priority was always her. The smile he had shared the day before had sparked a shift in how people saw him, but he barely noticed. All he cared about was the angel walking beside him.
Unbothered by the newfound attention, he listened as Y/n talked animatedly about her latest interest. To him, the hallways might as well have been empty, because the only thing that mattered was hearing her voice, seeing her smile.
When they finally reached her classroom, they came to a stop in front of the door. She turned to face him, her eyes bright as she smiled up at him. "Thanks for walking me to class," she said, her tone warm and filled with gratitude.
His lips curled into a rare, soft smile reserved just for her. He raised his hand, gently patting her head in a gesture that had become second nature by now. "No problem, Angel," he said in that low, calm voice of his. "I'll come get you after class so we can go to lunch together."
Her cheeks flushed slightly at the pet name, but she nodded happily. "Sounds good!" she replied with a grin before turning toward the classroom.
As she disappeared through the door, he lingered for a moment, watching her go with a fondness that was impossible to miss. Then, with his usual composed demeanor, he turned and made his way back down the hall, the whispers and greetings of his classmates now background noise to his thoughts of her.
˙ ✩°˖🫐 ⋆。˚꩜
After Sunghoon left her at the door, Y/n walked to her desk and sat down, pulling out her notebook and pens, preparing for the class ahead. She hummed a little under her breath, replaying the moment he'd patted her head. It was always sweet, the way he had his reserved moments only for her.
The quiet of the classroom was soon interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching her desk. She looked up and saw a group of three girls standing in front of her. Their expressions were friendly, but there was a hint of curiosity glimmering in their eyes. One of them, a girl with short, dark hair, Hana, spoke first.
"Hey, Y/n, right?" she asked, her tone friendly but direct.
She nodded, smiling politely. "Yeah, that's me. What’s up?"
The three exchanged a quick glance before the girl continued, "We were wondering… about Sunghoon. He’s always walking with you. What’s he like?"
Caught off guard by the sudden interest, Y/n blinked, her pen hovering over her notebook. She wasn't used to people asking her about him—most students were too afraid to even mention him in passing. But after yesterday’s smile in the quad, she supposed it was natural for some curiosity to grow.
"Um, he’s…" She hesitated, thinking of how to describe him. "He’s actually really nice once you get to know him. He’s just... quiet around others."
The second girl, with blonde hair tied in a ponytail, Jihye, leaned in a bit closer. "You mean he's not as scary as he looks? I mean, without all the bruises and cuts, he's actually really handsome."
Y/n felt her heart do a little flip at the comment. Handsome? She supposed she’d always known that, but hearing it from someone else felt... strange. "Yeah," she answered, smiling softly. "He’s definitely different when you get to know him."
The third girl, the quietest of the group, Sola, suddenly asked, "So, is he talking to anyone? Or, like... dating someone?" Her eyes widened with curiosity as she leaned forward, clearly eager for the answer.
Y/n froze for a moment, unsure of what to say. She wasn’t dating him, not officially, but the two of them were undeniably close. She could feel the weird sensation bubbling in her chest—a feeling she couldn't quite name. Was it jealousy? But why would she be jealous?
Trying to stay composed, she gave a gentle shrug. "I’m not really sure. We don’t talk about that much."
Jihye sighed in relief. "That’s good. I was hoping he wasn’t seeing anyone because..." She paused and exchanged another glance with her friends. "Would you mind introducing me to him? I’ve been wanting to talk to him, but he’s, well... hard to approach. You seem to know him really well."
The strange feeling in Y/n's stomach tightened into something more distinct—an uneasy knot. She wasn't sure why, but the thought of introducing someone to him, especially a girl who clearly found him attractive, made her chest tighten. Still, she kept her smile soft, trying to hide her discomfort.
"I can try," she said, her voice gentle. "He’s... a bit reserved with new people, but I’ll see what I can do."
The three girls beamed, clearly thrilled by her answer. "Thanks, Y/n! You’re the best," Hana said, before the group finally walked back to their seats.
As they left, Y/n stared down at her notebook, her pen resting idly in her hand. That weird feeling wouldn’t go away, and she didn’t know why. Was she... jealous? She shook her head slightly, trying to push the thought away. It didn’t make sense. But as she sat there, thinking about introducing someone else to him, she couldn’t shake the unease that now lingered in her chest.
˙ ✩°˖🫐 ⋆。˚꩜
The lunch bell rang, signaling a break in the day. Y/n was still sitting at her desk, lost in thought. The conversation from earlier with the three girls had left her feeling unsettled. She was mulling over their questions about Sunghoon, when a familiar voice broke through her reverie.
"Hey, Angel," Sunghoon called softly from the doorway of her classroom, hands casually in his pockets, his usual blank expression on his face. "You ready for lunch?"
Snapped out of her thoughts, she blinked and smiled up at him, gathering her things before walking over. "Yeah, let’s go."
They walked side by side through the hallways, a familiar rhythm to their steps. But Sunghoon quickly noticed something was off. Y/n wasn’t her usual bubbly self, and her expression was distant, as if she was caught up in her thoughts again.
He glanced down at her, frowning slightly. "What are you thinking about?"
His voice pulled her out of her thoughts, and she looked up at him, blinking. "Huh?"
"You’re quiet today. What’s on your mind?" he asked, his tone soft but curious.
She hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I was just wondering... what do you think about making new friends?"
Sunghoon let out a small, amused snort, his lips quirking into a brief smile. "Don’t care. I’ve got my boys and you. That’s all I need."
Her heart skipped a beat, and she felt her cheeks flush. She wasn’t sure why, but his simple words—so direct and clear—made her feel warm inside. "Oh," she murmured, feeling slightly flustered. "That’s... sweet."
They continued walking, but the knot in her stomach, the one that had been brewing since this morning, tightened as they approached the cafeteria.
After they grabbed their lunches, they made their way to their usual table, where Sunghoon's friends were already gathered. The atmosphere was comfortable, familiar, but the tension inside her didn’t ease.
As they sat down, though, a voice interrupted the peaceful moment.
"Y/n!" came a call, cheerful and bright.
Jihye, from this morning, the one who had asked her about Sunghoon, appeared beside the table with her lunch tray in hand. She smiled widely, as if they were old friends, and without waiting for an invitation, asked, "Mind if I sit with you guys?"
True to her sweet, angelic nature, Y/n couldn’t bring herself to refuse, even though she felt a surge of that strange emotion bubble up inside her. "Uh, sure," she said, offering a polite smile.
The girl didn’t hesitate and took the empty seat—right next to Sunghoon. His friends exchanged knowing glances, but no one said anything.
As they began to eat, Sunghoon's attention was solely on his lunch, but the girl seemed determined to pull him into conversation.
"So, Sunghoon, do you like any sports?" she asked, her eyes bright with interest.
He barely looked up, responding with a curt, "No."
Unfazed, she tried again. "Do you hang out with your friends often after school?"
"Sometimes," he said, his tone flat.
The girl wasn’t deterred by his short answers. She continued asking him question after question, her tone almost flirty, though Sunghoon didn’t seem the least bit interested. His answers grew shorter, and eventually, he stopped answering altogether, merely shrugging or nodding when necessary.
All the while, Y/n sat quietly in her seat, picking at her lunch. Her usual bright energy was dulled, replaced by that growing, unfamiliar feeling in her chest. She wasn’t sure what to call it—jealousy? Frustration? Whatever it was, it made her stomach twist uncomfortably as she listened to the girl chatter away at Sunghoon.
His friends exchanged amused looks, clearly sensing the awkwardness in the air. Jake nudged Jay with a smirk, and he raised an eyebrow.
Finally, the lunch period was almost over, and Y/n couldn’t help but feel a small sense of relief. As the bell rang, she quickly stood up, grabbing her tray. "We should head to class," she said softly.
Sunghoon stood as well, ignoring the girl’s lingering presence and focusing solely on Y/n. "Let’s go, Angel," he said, his voice low and calm.
The girl’s face fell slightly, but Y/n hardly noticed. Her mind was too focused on the odd, swirling emotion that had taken root inside her. She couldn’t help but feel like something had changed—and she wasn’t sure how she felt about it.
˙ ✩°˖🫐 ⋆。˚꩜
The hum of the engine filled the comfortable silence inside Sunghoon's car. Normally, the drive home from school was filled with the sound of Y/n chatting away about her day, excitedly sharing the details of her classes, her small victories, or even her frustrations. But today was different.
She was quiet—too quiet.
Glancing over at her in the passenger seat, Sunghoon noticed the way she was staring out the window, her eyes distant and lost in thought. Her hands, usually expressive as she spoke, were still in her lap, fingers fidgeting slightly.
His brow furrowed in concern. Something was bothering her, and he could tell.
Instead of driving straight to her house, he took a detour, turning the wheel in the direction of the small park near her home. The moment he pulled into the parking lot and cut the engine, the sudden stillness seemed to snap her out of her thoughts. She blinked and looked around, realizing they weren’t at her house.
"Why are we here?" she asked, her voice soft, almost distant.
Sunghoon turned in his seat to face her, his gaze steady and gentle. "Angel," he began, his tone low and soothing, "what's wrong? You’ve been quiet all day. I know something’s bothering you."
Her lips parted as if to say something, but she hesitated, her eyes dropping to her hands. For a moment, she fidgeted in her seat, unsure of how to put her feelings into words. But Sunghoon waited patiently, his gaze never wavering.
Finally, she sighed and looked back up at him. "It’s... it’s nothing, really. It’s just..." She trailed off again, struggling.
"Angel, you can talk to me," he encouraged, his voice soft.
She bit her lip, then took a deep breath. "Okay. Yesterday, after you walked me to class, some girls came up to me and... they asked me about you."
He raised an eyebrow, waiting for her to continue.
"They asked me about what you’re like," she explained, her fingers twisting together in her lap. "And then one of them—she asked me if I could... introduce her to you."
At that, Sunghoon frowned, his eyes narrowing slightly in confusion. "And?"
"I didn’t know what to say," she admitted. "I couldn’t refuse because, well, I didn’t want to be rude. But... I wanted to refuse. I wanted to say no. And ever since then, I’ve had this weird feeling in my stomach, like..." She trailed off, searching for the right words.
"Like what?" he asked gently, his voice calm and soothing.
She sighed, shaking her head. "I don’t know... like I don’t want anyone else to get close to you. It’s stupid, I know, but it just... bothered me."
For a moment, the car was quiet as her words hung in the air. Then, Sunghoon let out a small, playful chuckle. "Angel," he said, a teasing grin spreading across his face, "are you jealous?"
Y/n’s eyes widened, and her cheeks flushed a deep red. "What? No!" she protested, lightly smacking his arm in embarrassment. But her blush betrayed her.
He laughed softly, shaking his head. "You don’t have to lie. It’s okay if you’re jealous. It’s kind of cute, actually."
She groaned and covered her face with her hands, her blush growing deeper. "I don’t know what I’m feeling," she mumbled through her fingers. "Maybe I am jealous. I just... I don’t like the idea of other people wanting to get close to you like that."
His playful grin softened into a tender smile as he reached out and gently took her hand in his. The warmth of his touch calmed her slightly, and she peeked out from behind her hands.
"Angel," he said softly, his thumb brushing over the back of her hand, "no one could ever replace you. I don’t want anyone else but you. I’m yours. Okay?"
Her heart swelled at his words, and she finally dropped her hands from her face, meeting his gaze. His eyes were warm and sincere, full of affection. A small, shy smile tugged at her lips.
"Okay," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
For a moment, they simply sat there, hands intertwined, the weight of her worries slowly lifting. She felt silly for being jealous, but his reassurance made her feel better—like everything was going to be okay.
With a soft squeeze of her hand, Sunghoon smiled again. "Now, are you ready to go home? Or should we stay here a little longer so you can keep being jealous over me?"
She laughed softly, rolling her eyes. "Let’s go home, Hoonie."
With one last squeeze of her hand, he started the car and pulled out of the park, the tension between them melting away as they drove in comfortable silence.
˙ ✩°˖🫐 ⋆。˚꩜
The hallways were bustling with students as Sunghoon walked alongside his six friends, his hands tucked casually into his pockets. They surrounded him, their voices a mix of laughter and banter as they discussed their morning classes and plans for later. Though he was in the center, Sunghoon wasn’t really engaging, just listening with a relaxed, blank expression.
Suddenly, Jihye stepped into their path, her bright smile directed solely at him. His friends quieted down, their attention shifting to her as she confidently strode up and stopped in front of him.
He came to a halt, the rest of his friends following suit, and looked down at her with an uninterested stare. His posture didn’t change, still nonchalant, but his eyes gave nothing away.
“Hi,” she greeted, her voice sweet and almost too eager. "You know, you’re not as scary as everyone says you are." She grinned wider. "Actually, I think you’re really handsome."
His friends exchanged amused glances, some of them snickering at the bold compliment. Jake elbowed Jay lightly, trying not to laugh out loud, but Sunghoon remained stone-faced, unmoved by her words.
“Thanks," he said flatly, the word carrying no emotion whatsoever.
Encouraged by what she perceived as an opening, the girl stepped a little closer, her confidence growing. "So, I was thinking... maybe we could hang out sometime? Go on a date?"
The air shifted. His friends went quiet, waiting for his response, some of them already stifling laughter, knowing exactly how this was going to go.
Without missing a beat, Sunghoon looked her dead in the eyes, his voice cold and blunt. "I’m not interested," he said simply, his words like a slap in the face. He didn’t even soften the blow. "And I never will be."
His rejection was firm and absolute, and her face fell slightly, the confident smile wavering.
Before she could even recover, he continued, his tone sharp now. "Stop bothering Y/n about me. Leave her alone."
Jihye's expression soured at the mention of Y/n, and her posture stiffened. Clearly offended, she crossed her arms and glared up at him. "Her?" she sneered. "You’d rather be with someone like her? She’s nothing special."
That was it.
The air around Sunghoon changed in an instant, his relaxed stance becoming tense. He took a step closer to her, his towering figure casting a shadow over her. His jaw clenched, and his gaze hardened into a menacing glare.
“Say that again,” he challenged, his voice low and threatening.
Her eyes widened, clearly taken aback by the sudden shift in his demeanor. She swallowed hard but held her ground. “I-I’m just saying—”
He cut her off, his voice ice-cold. "Don’t insult her. Not ever again."
The threat was clear, and she realized quickly that she’d crossed a line. His friends stood silently behind him, watching the scene unfold but not interfering, their faces reflecting the same unreadable expressions.
“You think you can just walk up to me and insult someone I care about? You’re not worth my time, and you’re definitely not worth hers." His eyes narrowed, and he leaned down slightly, his words sharp as a knife. "So, get lost."
Stunned and clearly humiliated, the girl stumbled back, her face flushed with anger and embarrassment. She glanced around at his friends, who were watching her with barely concealed amusement, and then back at him. She opened her mouth to say something but thought better of it and turned on her heel, storming away in a huff.
As she disappeared down the hallway, Heeseung broke the silence with a low whistle. "Man, she didn’t stand a chance, did she?"
Jay laughed, shaking his head. "I almost feel bad for her. Almost."
But Sunghoon wasn’t interested in the jokes. His expression was still hardened as he stared after her retreating figure, but after a moment, he let out a long breath, shoving his hands back into his pockets.
Jake nudged him playfully. "Guess she knows now not to mess with Y/n."
"She better," he muttered, his gaze softening only slightly as he turned away and resumed walking.
˙ ✩°˖🫐 ⋆。˚꩜
The sun was starting to set as Sunghoon drove through the familiar streets, the hum of the engine a calming presence. Beside him, in the passenger seat, Y/n was happily chatting away, her voice light as she recounted the events of her day. Her words were full of the small details—her classes, something funny one of her friends said, and the little things she noticed on her walk to school.
She was radiant when she spoke, her face lighting up with every new story, and Sunghoon couldn’t help but watch her as he drove, a soft smile tugging at his lips. The world outside seemed to blur into the background; all that mattered was the sound of her voice and the way her eyes sparkled.
As they approached the park, he turned the steering wheel and pulled into the parking lot, the car coming to a gentle stop under the shade of a large tree. They’d been here before, a quiet place where they could steal a few moments together away from everything else.
“Let’s hang out here for a bit,” he said as he turned off the car.
She looked over at him with a smile, nodding as she continued talking, this time about something one of her classmates did during lunch. He leaned back in his seat, one arm resting on the wheel, the other draped casually across his lap as he listened intently to every word she said.
But after a while, Y/n noticed the way he was staring at her—his eyes warm, focused entirely on her, as if she was the only thing that mattered. Her words faltered for a second, a light blush creeping onto her cheeks as she realized he wasn’t just listening; he was captivated.
“What?” she asked, her voice soft and a little shy.
He didn’t say anything at first, just kept staring, the intensity of his gaze making her heart race. Then, slowly, he leaned in closer, his face mere inches from hers. The quiet rustle of the park’s leaves surrounded them, but in that moment, it felt like the world had stilled.
His voice was soft, almost a whisper. “Can I kiss you?”
Her breath hitched, her blush deepening as her eyes flicked from his lips to his eyes. She swallowed, feeling the warmth of his closeness, and after a second, she gave a small, shy nod.
That was all the confirmation Sunghoon needed.
In one smooth, gentle motion, he closed the remaining distance between them, his lips capturing hers in a soft, tender kiss. It was sweet, unhurried, like they had all the time in the world. Her eyes fluttered closed, and she felt her heart swell, her hands coming up to lightly rest on his arm as they shared the moment, lost in the quiet intimacy of the park.

Toxic Till The End
Wonyoung X Male Reader
Tumblr media
Disclaimer : Don't Be Toxic Kiddo, :D
You glance at the clock hanging on the wall behind the counter, wiping your hands on your apron as you wait for the next customer. It's early afternoon, a little after lunch, and the regular crowd has started to trickle in. Your café, tucked away in a quiet alley just a short walk from the busy corporate district, has always had a steady stream of customers. But lately, you’ve noticed a particular customer who has caught your attention.
It’s Wonyoung. Jang Wonyoung. You’ve known her face for a while, even before she began frequenting your café. As a popular idol, her posters and commercials are everywhere, but the first time she came into your café, it felt different. You weren’t just seeing her through a screen. She was right there, in front of you, asking for a latte with the softest voice.
At first, it was nothing special. Just a polite exchange, like with any customer. You kept your cool, even though you were a little starstruck. But the more she visited, the more those polite exchanges became something more. A smile here, a small compliment there. You found yourself looking forward to the days when she’d step through the door, her eyes scanning the room before they settled on you with a glimmer of recognition.
The bell above the door jingles, and like clockwork, Wonyoung steps inside. She’s wearing a simple, oversized coat and a cap pulled low over her face, but you’d recognize her anywhere. Today, though, something is different. She looks tired, her shoulders slightly slouched, and her usually bright expression is dimmer.
“Hey,” you greet her, offering a warm smile. “The usual?”
She nods, pulling her cap a little lower as she approaches the counter. “Yeah, please. One vanilla latte.”
As you start preparing her drink, you decide to strike up a conversation like you’ve done before. “Rough day?”
She chuckles softly, leaning her elbows on the counter. “You have no idea. It's been non-stop meetings and rehearsals. I just needed a break.”
You hand her the drink, watching her fingers brush against yours as she takes the cup. The small contact makes your heart skip a beat, but you quickly focus back on the conversation. “Well, I’m glad you came here to take that break. The world can wait a little, right?”
She looks up at you through her lashes, a small smile tugging at her lips. “Yeah, I guess so. This place has kind of become my escape.”
Her words stir something in you. An idol like her, with the entire world watching her every move, finding a sense of peace in your small café? It’s flattering. You lean against the counter, trying to play it cool, but the warmth in your chest is undeniable.
“You’re welcome here anytime, you know that,” you say, your voice dropping slightly. It’s an invitation you’ve given before, but somehow it feels more meaningful now.
Wonyoung sips her latte, the steam rising between you two as she lets out a content sigh. “Thanks. That really means a lot.”
There’s a comfortable silence for a moment, the two of you just enjoying each other’s company. But then, as you’re about to ask her something, a group of fans passing by outside catches your eye. They don’t seem to have noticed her yet, but you know it’s only a matter of time. Wonyoung must sense your unease because she follows your gaze and tenses slightly.
“Do you need to go?” you ask, trying to keep the disappointment out of your voice.
She hesitates, glancing toward the door. “I probably should…”
You don’t want her to leave. Not yet. Not when it feels like you’re finally getting closer. Before you can stop yourself, you blurt out, “Would you maybe want to hang out sometime? Outside of here, I mean.”
Her eyes widen slightly, surprised by your sudden boldness. You can feel your palms getting sweaty, and you mentally curse yourself for being too forward. But then, to your surprise, she smiles—a real, genuine smile that lights up her face.
“Are you asking me out?” she teases, her tone light but her gaze intense.
You swallow hard, suddenly feeling very self-conscious. “Uh, yeah. I guess I am.”
She looks down at her drink, her fingers tracing the rim of the cup. For a moment, you think she’s going to turn you down, but then she looks up again, her smile still there.
“I’d like that,” she says softly, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. But… we’d have to keep it a secret. My company has strict rules about… well, you know.”
You nod, understanding immediately. Dating an idol? You’ve heard the horror stories of how fans react. But the thrill of the secrecy only adds to your excitement. “I can keep a secret if you can.”
She giggles, the sound like music to your ears. “I guess we’ll see.”
As she stands to leave, you can’t help but feel a rush of adrenaline. You just asked out Jang Wonyoung—and she said yes.
“When should we—” you begin, but she interrupts with a sly smile.
“I’ll text you. We’ll figure it out.”
She waves goodbye, leaving you standing behind the counter, your heart pounding in your chest. You watch her disappear down the street, the bell on the door chiming softly as it swings shut behind her.
For the first time in a long time, you feel like something big is about to happen. Something that could change everything.
The days that followed felt like a blur of anticipation. Every time your phone buzzed, your heart would leap, hoping it was her. And then, one night, just as you were closing up the café, her name flashed across your screen.
“Tomorrow. 8 PM. I know a quiet place.”
You read the text over and over, a smile creeping across your face. It was happening. You were actually going on a date with Wonyoung, and no one else knew.
The next day, you close the café a little earlier than usual, making sure everything is perfect before you head out. The nerves hit you the moment you step outside. What would it be like? What would you talk about? But there’s also an excitement bubbling beneath the surface—a thrill you haven’t felt in years.
When you arrive at the spot she mentioned, you’re surprised to find it’s a small, dimly lit park, tucked away from the busy streets. It’s quiet, serene, and the perfect place for two people who didn’t want to be seen.
Wonyoung is already there, sitting on a bench, her face partially hidden by the hood of her coat. But when she looks up and sees you, her face breaks into a smile.
“You came,” she says softly, standing to greet you.
“Of course,” you reply, your voice a little shaky. You try to play it cool, but your heart is racing.
You sit beside her on the bench, the cool evening air wrapping around the two of you. For a moment, neither of you says anything, just enjoying the rare moment of privacy.
“So,” she begins, breaking the silence. “You really weren’t scared to ask me out? Most people wouldn’t dare.”
You chuckle nervously. “Well, I guess I’m not like most people.”
She grins, her eyes sparkling. “No, you’re not. That’s why I said yes.”
Your heart skips a beat, and you can’t help but feel drawn to her in a way that’s both intoxicating and terrifying. The fact that you’re sitting here, in the dark, in secret, makes everything feel a little more dangerous. But you like it. You like her.
As the conversation flows, it becomes clear that there’s more to Wonyoung than what the world sees. She tells you about the pressures of being an idol, the constant scrutiny, the expectations that weigh on her shoulders. You listen intently, feeling protective over her in a way you hadn’t expected.
“You must get lonely,” you say, your voice soft.
She nods, looking down at her hands. “I do. Sometimes it feels like I’m living two lives—one for the public and one for myself. But the lines get blurred, and I don’t know which one is real anymore.”
You reach out, gently placing your hand over hers. “This is real,” you say firmly. “Whatever this is between us—it’s real.”
She looks up at you, her eyes wide and vulnerable. For a moment, you think she’s going to pull away, but then she squeezes your hand, her touch sending a jolt of electricity through your body.
“I hope so,” she whispers, her voice barely audible.
The warmth of your bond with Wonyoung had grown over the years, weaving itself into every corner of your life. From stolen evenings in the quiet corners of the city to shared laughter over cups of coffee in the dim glow of your café, your relationship had become something sacred. She trusted you, and you loved her with every fiber of your being.
But things started to shift when Wonyoung sat across from you one evening, her face pale and serious.
“I have something to tell you,” she said, her voice trembling slightly.
You set down your cup, leaning forward. “What’s wrong?”
She hesitated, her fingers nervously tracing the rim of her mug. “It’s… good news, really. But…” Her words faltered, and the worry in her eyes twisted your gut.
“Wonyoung, just tell me,” you urged gently.
“I’m debuting,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
The words hung in the air between you, heavy and suffocating. You stared at her, trying to process what she’d just said. Wonyoung had always talked about her dreams of becoming a star, of standing on the biggest stages and sharing her talent with the world. You should have been happy for her, proud even. But all you could feel was the growing pit in your stomach.
“That’s… amazing,” you said, forcing a smile.
She smiled back, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “It is. It’s everything I’ve worked for. But… you know what this means, right?”
Your heart sank. “What are you saying?”
She looked down, her hands gripping her mug tightly. “The company’s rules are even stricter now. I’ll be busier than ever. Training, schedules, promotions… I won’t have time for…” Her voice cracked, and she bit her lip, trying to hold back her emotions.
“For us,” you finished for her, your voice hollow.
She nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. “I’m so sorry. This isn’t what I want, but I don’t have a choice. If they find out about us, it could ruin everything—for both of us.”
You sat back, the weight of her words pressing down on your chest. This was it. The moment you’d feared since the day you started dating her. You knew the risks of being with an idol, but you’d always hoped you could make it work. Now, it felt like that hope was slipping away.
“I understand,” you said quietly, your throat tight. “Your dream has always come first. I don’t want to hold you back.”
She reached across the table, taking your hand in hers. “You’ve never held me back. You’ve been my anchor, my safe place. I don’t want to lose that.”
“You won’t,” you promised, squeezing her hand. “Even if we can’t be together the way we want, I’ll always be here for you. No matter what.”
Her tears spilled over, and you pulled her into your arms, holding her tightly as she cried. You wanted to believe your own words, but deep down, you knew this was the beginning of the end.
The days that followed were the hardest of your life. Wonyoung’s visits became less frequent, her texts and calls more sporadic. You understood why, but that didn’t make it any easier. You poured yourself into your work, trying to distract yourself from the emptiness she left behind.
Then, one day, the messages stopped altogether.
At first, you told yourself she was just busy. Her debut was approaching, after all. But as weeks turned into months, the silence became deafening. You stared at your phone every night, hoping for a message, a call—anything. But nothing came.
You threw yourself into your café, hoping the familiar routine would keep you grounded. But even there, reminders of her were everywhere. The table by the window where she always sat, the scent of vanilla lattes that lingered in the air—it all made your heart ache.
Your only solace was watching her from afar. You followed her career, watching every performance, every interview, every commercial. She was incredible, just as you always knew she would be. But the bright lights and the adoring fans only reminded you of how far away she was now.
Still, you held onto hope. You told yourself that one day, when the world wasn’t watching so closely, she’d come back to you.
Years passed, and your life settled into a routine. The café grew busier, and you built a reputation for being the cozy little spot that people loved. But no matter how much time passed, Wonyoung was always in the back of your mind.
Every time the bell above the door jingled, your heart leapt, hoping it was her. Every time you saw someone with long, dark hair or heard a soft laugh, you thought of her.
One evening, after closing up, you sat alone in the café, a cup of coffee growing cold in your hands. The dim light from the streetlamps outside cast long shadows across the walls, and the quietness of the night only amplified the loneliness in your heart.
You pulled out your phone, scrolling through old messages from Wonyoung. You hadn’t deleted them, even though it hurt to read them. They were all you had left of her.
“I miss you,” you whispered into the empty room, your voice breaking.
You didn’t know if she’d ever come back. You didn’t know if she even thought about you anymore. But you couldn’t let go. She was your first love, and a part of you would always belong to her.
As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, you continued to wait. You didn’t know what the future held, but you knew one thing for sure: if Wonyoung ever walked through that door again, you’d welcome her with open arms.
For now, all you could do was hope. Hope that somewhere, in the midst of her glittering, chaotic life, she still remembered the little café where it all began.
The bell above the café door jingled softly as another customer walked in, but your mind was elsewhere. The days had blended into a monotonous cycle—serving coffee, cleaning tables, and quietly hoping. Hoping that one day, Wonyoung would return, her familiar presence lighting up the small café once more.
You told yourself every day that it was foolish. That she had likely moved on, swept away by the tidal wave of her career. But a small part of you clung to the memories, refusing to let go.
Then, one fateful evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon and painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, you saw her.
It was a glimpse at first—a flash of her unmistakable silhouette passing by the large window of your café. Your heart leaped, the familiar rush of emotions flooding your chest. Without thinking, you dropped the cloth in your hand and hurried to the door, your pulse racing.
“Wonyoung!” you called out, stepping onto the quiet street.
She didn’t turn around.
You froze, your voice caught in your throat as your eyes locked onto her. She was walking down the street, her delicate figure wrapped in a soft beige coat. But she wasn’t alone.
There was a man beside her, tall and well-dressed, with an air of casual confidence. Wonyoung clung to his arm, her smile bright and carefree. The sight hit you like a punch to the gut.
You stood there, rooted to the spot, watching as she tugged his arm playfully, her laughter floating through the crisp evening air. It was a sound you knew all too well, one that used to be yours. And that smile—the same radiant smile she’d given you on your first date—was now meant for someone else.
Your heart clenched painfully, your mind racing with a thousand thoughts. Was it just a colleague? A friend? Or… something more?
The rational part of you tried to dismiss it. She’s an idol. She must have many colleagues, right? But deep down, a gnawing doubt began to take hold, and with it came a wave of desperation.
That night, you couldn’t sleep. The image of Wonyoung with that man replayed in your mind like a cruel, endless loop. You tried to push it aside, to reason with yourself, but the knot in your chest refused to loosen.
You kept telling yourself that it didn’t mean anything. That there had to be an explanation. But the doubt lingered, growing stronger with each passing day.
“She’ll come back,” you whispered to yourself as you cleaned the counter the next morning. “She’ll explain everything.”
But she didn’t.
Days turned into weeks, and Wonyoung never walked through your door. You scrolled through her social media, searching for clues, but found nothing. Her life seemed to be as glamorous and untouchable as ever. Meanwhile, you felt yourself spiraling.
Your thoughts became consumed with her. You replayed every moment, every smile, every touch. You clung to the memories like a lifeline, even as they began to feel like a weight pulling you under.
Every night, you prayed silently, your hands clutching your phone as you stared at her name. You prayed that she’d text, that she’d call, that she’d walk through the door with that familiar shy smile.
But she never did.
One evening, as you closed up the café, you found yourself back at the place where you’d seen her with the man. You didn’t even know why you were there, only that you couldn’t stop yourself.
You sat on a bench nearby, staring at the street as if willing her to appear. The desperation in your chest had grown into a hollow ache, one that refused to go away.
“She wouldn’t do this to me,” you muttered under your breath, your hands gripping your knees. “She wouldn’t cheat on me.”
But the memory of her smile—the one she gave that man—gnawed at your resolve.
Days turned into weeks, and still, there was no sign of her. Your friends began to notice the change in you. They asked if you were okay, if something was wrong. But you brushed them off, retreating further into yourself.
Your café became your only refuge, the one place where you could pretend everything was still normal. But even there, the memories of her lingered like ghosts.
Every time the bell above the door jingled, you looked up, hoping it was her. Every time someone ordered a vanilla latte, your chest tightened with longing.
But Wonyoung never came.
The toxic cycle began to take its toll. You stopped sleeping, your nights spent staring at your phone, waiting for a message that never came. You stopped eating, your appetite replaced by a gnawing emptiness that nothing could fill.
Your friends tried to pull you out of it, but their words fell on deaf ears. How could they understand? They didn’t know what it was like to love someone like Wonyoung. To love her so deeply that it consumed you.
“She’ll come back,” you told yourself again and again, your voice growing weaker each time. “She has to.”
But deep down, a part of you knew the truth. You’d seen it with your own eyes. Wonyoung had moved on. She had someone else now.
And yet, you couldn’t let go.
You kept praying, day after day, for her to come back. You told yourself that if you just held on a little longer, she’d walk through the door and everything would be okay again.
But as the weeks turned into months, the hope that had once sustained you began to wither away.
You were losing yourself in the waiting, in the longing, in the toxic spiral of loving someone who no longer cared.
And still, you couldn’t stop. Because as much as it hurt, the thought of letting go hurt even more.
The rain came down in heavy sheets, drumming against the windows of the café as the sky wept its sorrow. You stood behind the counter, absentmindedly drying a mug as you stared out into the gray, dismal street. The café was quiet tonight, save for the occasional rattle of thunder in the distance.
Then, through the streaks of rain on the glass, you saw her.
Your breath caught in your throat as Wonyoung’s familiar figure emerged from the downpour, standing just outside the café. Her hair clung to her face, wet from the rain, and her shoulders trembled as she hugged herself tightly. She looked… broken.
You hesitated for a moment, your mind racing. This was the moment you’d prayed for countless nights. Yet now that it was here, something inside you felt different.
With a deep breath, you walked to the door and gently pushed it open.
The bell jingled softly, but Wonyoung didn’t move. She stood in the rain, tears streaming down her face, mingling with the raindrops.
“I’m sorry,” she choked out, her voice trembling.
You stood there, watching her cry, her words cutting through the sound of the rain. In the past, you would have rushed to her, held her close, and whispered soothing words until her tears stopped. But tonight, something in you had changed.
You stepped aside, motioning for her to come in. “You’ll catch a cold out there,” you said quietly, your tone calm but distant.
She looked up at you, her eyes red and swollen, and hesitated for a moment before stepping inside.
Wonyoung sat at her usual spot by the window, her hands wrapped around a steaming cup of tea you’d prepared without a word. The warm light of the café cast soft shadows across her face, accentuating the sadness in her eyes.
“I’m sorry,” she said again, her voice barely above a whisper. “For everything.”
You sat across from her, your expression unreadable. “What exactly are you sorry for, Wonyoung?”
She flinched at the coldness in your tone, her fingers tightening around the cup. “For… disappearing. For not calling. For—” Her voice cracked, and tears welled up in her eyes again. “For hurting you.”
Your heart clenched at her words, but you forced yourself to remain composed. You couldn’t fall into the same cycle again. Not this time.
“Why are you here, Wonyoung?” you asked, your voice firm but not unkind.
She looked up at you, her eyes searching your face for some sign of warmth, of forgiveness. “I missed you,” she said softly.
You leaned back in your chair, crossing your arms. “Missed me?” you echoed, your voice tinged with skepticism. “Or are you just bored?”
Her eyes widened in shock, and for a moment, she was speechless. “How could you say that?”
“Because, Wonyoung,” you said, your voice steady, “you walked away. You left me here, waiting for you, while you moved on with your life. And now, after all this time, you show up out of nowhere, crying and saying you’re sorry. What am I supposed to think?”
She stared at you, her lip trembling. “I didn’t mean to hurt you. I thought… I thought you’d understand.”
“Understand what?” you asked, leaning forward. “That I wasn’t worth even a text? That you could just show up whenever it suited you and expect me to be here, waiting with open arms?”
Her tears spilled over, and she buried her face in her hands. “I didn’t know what to do,” she sobbed. “I was scared. Scared of losing everything.”
You sighed, running a hand through your hair. “I understand fear, Wonyoung. But you don’t get to use that as an excuse to treat me like I don’t matter.”
Her sobs quieted, and she looked up at you, her eyes filled with a mix of guilt and confusion. “You’ve never talked to me like this before,” she said softly.
“Maybe I should have,” you replied. “Maybe if I’d been more honest with you from the start, we wouldn’t be here now.”
The silence between you was heavy, broken only by the sound of rain tapping against the windows. For the first time, Wonyoung seemed at a loss for words.
“You’ve always been there for me,” she said finally, her voice trembling. “Even when I didn’t deserve it. I don’t want to lose you.”
You sighed, leaning forward and resting your elbows on the table. “Wonyoung, this isn’t about what you want. It’s about what’s fair—for both of us. I’ve spent years waiting for you, hoping for something that might never happen. And it’s taken me this long to realize that I deserve more than that.”
Her eyes filled with fresh tears, and she reached across the table, her hand trembling. “Please… don’t give up on me.”
You hesitated, staring at her outstretched hand. Every part of you wanted to take it, to pull her into your arms and pretend everything was okay. But you knew that would only lead to more pain.
“I’m not giving up on you,” you said quietly. “But I can’t keep doing this. If you want me in your life, you need to show me that I matter. Not just when it’s convenient, but always.”
Her hand faltered, and she pulled it back, clutching it to her chest. “I don’t know if I can do that,” she admitted, her voice barely audible.
You nodded, your heart breaking all over again. “Then maybe it’s time we stop pretending this can work.”
She stared at you, her face a mixture of shock and devastation. “Are you saying it’s over?”
You took a deep breath, the words catching in your throat. “I’m saying that I can’t keep holding onto something that’s tearing me apart.”
Her tears fell freely now, but she didn’t argue. She simply nodded, her shoulders shaking as she cried.
The rain continued to fall outside as you sat there, the weight of your decision settling over you like a heavy blanket. For the first time in years, you felt a strange sense of clarity.
This wasn’t the ending you’d hoped for, but maybe it was the one you needed.
The days that followed Wonyoung’s tearful return were bittersweet. She seemed genuinely sorry, her apologies heartfelt and tear-streaked. For a while, it felt like things might finally be different. She softened around you, her laughter returning, her gentle touches and warm smiles reminding you of the Wonyoung you had first fallen for.
But as time passed, the cracks began to show again.
It started small—missed calls, vague excuses about her schedule, and moments where she seemed distracted even when she was with you. You told yourself it was fine. That she was busy. That you could be patient.
But then came the nights when she wouldn’t respond to your texts at all. The whispers online about her being spotted with someone else. The photos of her arm linked with another man’s, her smile radiant and carefree, just like it had been the first time you saw her with someone else.
You confronted her one evening when she finally came back to the café, her expression tense but defensive.
“Who is he, Wonyoung?” you asked, your voice quiet but trembling with restrained emotion.
She froze, her eyes wide, then quickly looked away. “It’s not what you think,” she said, her tone evasive.
“Then tell me what it is,” you pressed, your patience wearing thin. “Because this keeps happening, Wonyoung. You disappear, you’re seen with other guys, and then you come back here, apologizing like it’ll make everything okay.”
Her eyes filled with tears, and she reached out to you. “I didn’t mean to hurt you,” she whispered. “You have to believe me.”
You pulled back, avoiding her touch. “That’s what you always say. But you keep doing it.”
She began to cry, her hands trembling. “I love you. I just… I don’t know how to handle everything. The pressure, the expectations. You’re the only thing that feels real, but sometimes it’s too much.”
Her words hit you like a punch to the gut. You wanted to believe her. You wanted to hold onto the idea that she loved you, even if her actions said otherwise.
But the truth was undeniable. This wasn’t love. It was something toxic, something that was slowly destroying you both.
The cycle continued. Wonyoung would vanish for days, sometimes weeks, only to return with teary apologies and promises to do better. And every time, you forgave her.
You hated yourself for it. Hated how weak you felt, how easily you crumbled under the weight of her tears and her soft words. But no matter how much it hurt, you couldn’t let her go.
Until one night, when everything came crashing down.
You’d seen her again, smiling and laughing with someone else. The sight was like a knife twisting in your chest, and for the first time, something inside you snapped.
You went home that night and stared at your phone, the screen glowing with her name. Your fingers hovered over the keyboard, your thoughts a chaotic whirlwind of anger, sadness, and despair.
Finally, you began to type.
“Wonyoung, I can’t do this anymore. You’ve hurt me too many times, and I can’t keep pretending that this is okay. I love you, but I need to love myself more. Goodbye.”
Your thumb hovered over the send button, your chest tightening. You knew this was the right thing to do, but it felt like tearing a piece of your soul away.
With a deep breath, you pressed send.
The message delivered instantly, the small checkmark mocking you as you stared at it. And then, you turned off your phone, the weight of your decision crashing down on you.
The days that followed were a blur of pain and emptiness. You tried to focus on the café, on the simple routines that had once brought you comfort. But everything reminded you of her—the scent of vanilla lattes, the sound of the bell above the door, the corner seat where she used to sit.
And then, one evening, your phone buzzed.
You hesitated, your heart racing as you stared at the screen. It was her.
“I’m sorry. Please don’t leave me.”
You closed your eyes, the familiar ache in your chest returning. You knew you shouldn’t reply. You knew this was just another loop, another step in the endless cycle of pain and forgiveness.
But even as you told yourself to ignore it, your fingers betrayed you, typing a response before you could stop them.
“I’m here.”
You hated yourself for it. Hated how easily she pulled you back in, how much power she had over you. But deep down, you knew the truth.
You and Wonyoung were toxic. You hurt each other, over and over, and yet you couldn’t let go.
Because no matter how much it hurt, no matter how broken it made you feel, you still loved her.
And some part of you always would.

Hmmm... How about tails and knuckles' first day living with the Wachowskis?
This one was a really hard one to keep short because I’ve been wanting to write like a 15k fic about this very concept but i have to keep this short or i’ll be up all night and i have school tomorrow :’D | 1k
Wachowski House Day 1:
“Why don’t you just stay here?”
Tail’s tails flicked.
“Really?”
“Yeah, I mean, where else would you go?” Sonic laughed. “Come ooon, we’re friends now! I can’t just let my pals go live in the garage.”
“I would pulverize the garage.”
“Do you even know what a garage is?”
“Of course I do.”
“I don’t think you do.”
Tails had genuinely never thought the Sonic the Hedgehog would ask him to stay, but he had. And he had never felt so giddy and relieved and terrified all at once.
“We’ll do sleeping bags first,” Maddie said. “Just until we get you two real beds.”
“I have no need for a bed,” Knuckles declared, thumping his fist against his chest. “As an Echidna warrior, I am accustomed to sleeping outdoors.”
“I’m sure an Echidna warrior like yourself wouldn’t pass up having a roof over your head if it was an option. You’re wise after all.”
Knuckles hesitated. Then he nodded. “Yes, I am wise.”
“Glad that’s settled then,” Maddie said. “Here’s your sleeping bag.”
Knuckles accepted it, bowing his head over it as he did so. “Thank you for this gift. I will guard it with my life until the time you wish for it to be returned.”
“How about tomorrow morning.”
“I, Knuckles the Echidna, swear to you that I will guard this bag of sleeping until morning.”
When Maddie handed Tails his sleeping bag, he almost bowed over it too. It felt like he’d been handed something important; it meant he was staying.
Sonic excitedly led them up to the attic.
“Just so we’re all aware, I do not snore, and anyone who told you that shouldn’t be trusted.”
“You do snore though,” Tails said without thinking as he looked around the room in awe.
“Aw man,” Sonic groaned. “You heard that too? Is there any time you weren’t watching me?”
Despite his complaining, he seemed relaxed as he sat on the edge of his bed. He wasn’t upset by it.
Knuckles was unrolling his sleeping bag with an intensity that wasn’t really required of the task.
Tails whipped out his scanner to find the place with the least draft while still being close to Sonic’s bed. He ended up sacrificing some of the best spots so he could be closer to Sonic anyway.
Snoring caught his attention. Sonic was laying down, his legs hanging over the side of his bed, dead asleep.
Tails had to muffle a laugh. “Only Sonic the Hedgehog,” he shook his head. He felt too giddy to fall asleep.
Or at least that’s what he thought until he blinked his eyes open and moonlight was streaming through the window.
Knuckles was sitting on his sleeping bag, eyes wide open.
Tails felt a little awkward around him still. He didn’t know how Sonic was so comfortable with him when they’d been fighting less than ten hours ago.
“Go to sleep, fox,” Knuckles told him. “I will keep watch.”
“Nobody’s gotta keep watch,” Sonic mumbled, rolling over, off his bed, and landing on top of Tails who gave a yelp.
“Are we killing the fox?” Knuckles asked, tilting head.
Tails' face was flushed from a weird mix of self-consciousness and panic.
“Sorry, Tails,” Sonic slurred out. He pushed himself off him. But instead of getting back onto his bed he just flopped down next to him. “Hey, Knuckles, would it be better if you were over here if you’re gonna stand guard?”
Knuckles considered that very seriously. “Very well.” He stood and dragged his sleeping bag over to them.
Tails tried not to flinch. But he did anyway. His tails curled around him.
Sonic noticed despite the fact that he didn’t seem fully awake, and he gave his arm a pat. “I gotchu.”
Without meaning to, Tails let out a long exhale. Somehow he felt less nervous after that.
Knuckles sat at their feet, piercing gaze fixed on the window.
“You could try sleeping.” Sonic suggested. He pat the ground next to him.
“No,” said Knuckles.
“What are you guarding for? The doors are locked.”
“Enemies can come at any time, hedgehog.”
“Yeah but what enemies are gonna know you’re here?”
Knuckles frowned.
Sonic yawned. “We’re tough enough to take anybody anyway. Even if they try a surprise attack, right?”
Knuckles looked like he hadn’t thought of that before. “Very well,” he said. “I will sleep. For a while.” He laid down on the wooden floor next to Sonic, his sleeping bag pulled over hsi torso, staring up at the ceiling.
He was snoring within seconds.
“There we go,” Sonic mumbled, his face squished against his forearm, hand under his head. “You good, Tails?”
“Yeah,” Tails whispered. Sonic had done all that just to help Knuckles relax enough to sleep, he was sure of it.
“How’d you feel about snuggles?”
Tails blinked. “What?”
“Hugs, y’know? Sleeping? Snuggles. Like, we hug, and then sleep. It’s really nice. I’ve done it with Tom and Maddie on the couch a few times.”
“Okay,” Tails whispered, despite how his fur seemed to itch.
Sonic gave him a smile even though his eyes were closed and opened his arms.
Tails buried himself into them after a brief moment of hesitation, worried he might change his mind.
“Oof,” Sonic huffed. His hand came to rest on Tails’ head. “Comfy?”
“Yes,” Tails said, his voice nearly lodged in his throat. He couldn't remember anyone ever letting him get this close, let alone put their arms around him like this.
“Cool,” Sonic drawled out, trailing into a yawn. “‘Mm gonna sleep now.” And just like that, he did. No comments on his tails, no comments on how weird it was to hold him, no pointing out how stiff and awkward Tails must have felt in his arms.
Tails tried not to move. He held his breath for as long as he could until he had to let it out, then he held it some more. He tried to take up as little space as possible. Sonic was already letting him this close, he couldn’t risk taking too much or he might ask him to leave, and that was the last thing Tails wanted.
Sleep didn’t exactly come easy after that, but he thought Sonic might be disappointed in him if he didn’t at least try to close his eyes.

This has been something that's been rattling around in my head a while and I haven't seen anyone do this yet, so got any HCs for Kenji dating a Vtuber reader?
Well to be honest, when I read that ask I wasn't too sure what to write BUT I did find a few ideas :D I don't really understand the Vtuber concept but I do enjoy people my Cyno and Monarch :) Hope you'll like it and THANK YOU for the request <3 AN: I kind of wrote it more for a streamer than for a VTuber at the end ? I'm so sorry !
Tumblr media
He didn't know you were a streamer until you told him. Remember when I said he was protective ? Yeah, when you mentioned you streamed with a camera he wasn't too happy about it. Sure you were your own person, but even he knew Internet was full of creeps and people of all kind honestly. It calmed him down when you told him about your Avatar and explained that nobody really knew how you looked like.
Kenji doesn't really care about games and streamers, but he cares about you ! So when you two decided to move in together, he renovated one of the rooms into your personal office. Taking you to IKEA to pick up furniture turned out to be the worst decision of his life, you spend hours choosing desks and chairs and other cute clutter to fill out the space to your liking. He wouldn't take no for an answer when he told you he'll pay for the stuff, even through you made enough money to afford it. "It makes you happy, right ? Let me make my princess happy." he said and kissed your forehead right then and there.
Whenever you streamed, and he had the time to do so, he would sit in the corner of your newly decorated office and watch you play. Nursing a cup of coffee or tea, depending on the time of day, he would chuckle whenever you lost a game or get scared by a monster in one of the horrors your audience begged you to play.
Speaking of Horror games ! Kenji is a little shit and we all know it, so you can imagine what would happen when you played scary games. Yep, he would scare the absolute shit out of you. One night you finally agreed to playing Phasmophobia with some of your online friends and well...
Your eyes focused on the screen, watching one of your friends place the crucifix on the floor. You were still fairly new to the game but you did know that it would stop the ghost from hunting, at least until it burned. "So what now ?" you asked, your Vtuber following your motions to a T. "Now we need last evidence." one of your co-players responded, his character crouching to pick up the walkie-talkie from the ground. At that moment something fell down from the in game table and it made you absolutely scream. "NOPE I AM OUT OF HERE !" you turned your character and walked towards the door, but it slammed in your face. The ghost started to hunt and from the looks of it it was after you ! "SUCK A CARROT, SUCK A CARROT !" you yelped, trying to run away. You could hear your friends absolutely lose it in the background, as the ghost finally caught up to you. A hand was suddenly placed on your shoulder, and you jump out from your chair so fast Ken didn't even had the time to react. Let's just say your audience started was confused about the sudden bang, and a groan of pain.... and your endless apologies. Nobody could see but you just smacked your wireless keyboard on top of his head from the fright... (BTW ! That Suck a carrot moment actually happened. My friend yelled that dying to a ghost and I thought I might share it with ya'll XD)
Yeah from that point onwards he didn't try to scare you anymore. You felt awful about the incident but some sick party of you was glad you did it, serves him right for scaring you like that. He sported a black eye for weeks after the incident, making tabloids go wild.
Emi absolutely adores your streams. Whenever you play games like Sims or Stardew valley Mina would let her watch it knowing it was friendly enough not to startle her. She was confused as to why the strange character on the screen was speaking with your voice but she still enjoyed the content.
Speaking of our baby girl ! At one point you changed your Avatar and added some stuff representing Emi. Like a Fin-like-Hairclip and a necklace with a K and E on it. Your fans asked questions but you just said you needed a change. Ken was very pleased about the necklace though !
Like any other Streamer you have your own merch, and Ken owns EVERY.SINGLE.PIECE. Limited edition ? He has double of every thing. He absolutely loved the fact you enjoyed your hobby/job so much !
He would totally share a link to your stream on his social. Imagine your surprise when you woke up one day with over 100k followers. Which was strange considering you were chilling at 2k just a few hours before that.
All in all. He would not understand much about your job, but he will support you no matter what. Even if he gets a black eye in the end XD
I'm sorry if it's bad !

Equipped with a small mechanical crossbow on both wrists, she watched how the steel arrow slid in and out. Preparing her weapons for a fight if Zoro and Luffy would be followed by enemies. It was the worst-case scenario. A fight in the corridors of the Corrida Colosseum might not be the greatest idea to avoid unwanted attention, but she would not allow any others to hurt her friends.
Winning the Devil Fruit, which once belonged to Portgas D. Ace, was an important task for the Straw Hat captain. At the same time, he would feel responsible if one of his friends could receive deadly wounds from an enemy. Most likely because Luffy could have prevented the intensity of the damage. And in the moment where Ace's image popped into her mind, the loud cries and angry screams coming from the end of the corridor required her undivided attention.
Luffy tugged underneath his muscular arm, dressed in his usual attire again without the costume for the contest. Storming down the corridor, she raised her eyebrows in confusion. No one followed them, at least, she could not see any enemies closing in on the duo. Shaking her head at their unexplainable behavior, she felt the gentle breeze of the wind as the two passed her before turning and following. With slow steps, she walked through the Colosseum towards the exit. One that wasn't known to most contestants, who entered a fight, and were forced to stay as prisoners. A departure was not an option for strong people who once signed the contract.
Tricky, but fitting for a cruel person like Doflamingo.
"Take that!" The swordsman with the green hair shouted, throwing a blue caterpillar costume at the approaching markswoman. She caught it with one hand, staring at the ridiculous large eyes until Luffy's whiny sounds became the center of her undivided attention. "What happened to him?" A slender finger pointed at the crying man, who mumbled word after word between the tears streaming down his cheeks, and the drool running down his chin.
"No idea," Zoro shrugged his shoulders to strengthen his words. "Found him on the ground close to the cells, crying and without the clown costume,"
Luffy was lost deeply in his emotions, uncountable waves of tears ran down his flustered cheeks. Unable to move a heavy limb, Zoro helped his captain and certainly best friend to step into the costume, he brought along. If they wanted to walk through the streets of Dressrosa without being captured or attacked, the dress-up was a necessary change of clothing.
“Captain, are you good to go?” She spoke towards the boy with the inky strands, and the head thrown back. It was obvious that the scene he went through, must be almost as painful as watching his brother die. Something so similar that Luffy’s entire personality shrunk into a whining boy. “For fuck’s sake, who the hell did he see?”
The markswoman chuckled to herself, shaking the head from left to right as she kneeled down. Thick fabric of the caterpillar costume between her fingers, she imagined any kind of animal or enemy as the thing that straddled Luffy to such immense. While the Captain’s face was almost hidden as Zoro pulled on the zipper, she stepped into her own costume.
“S-Sabo,” Luffy stuttered between the sobs and whines. And the head of the markswoman snapped towards her last standing childhood friend. “What?” She questioned, thinking she must have heard the wrong name. It was impossible. “Sabo!” Luffy shouted, but Zoro’s large, scared hand was quick to cover up their Captain’s wide-open mouth before any danger found them.
She felt a pinch in her chest, a breath tangled between her ribs like the sharpened blade of a knife pierced through skin and bones without resistance. The name Luffy repeated while crying out of happiness caused too many unbearable emotions for her severed soul. Stopping in her tracks, the ridiculous animal costume Zoro brought along, slipped out of her grip and bunched around her ankles. Luffy would never speak his name again, if he would not tell the truth about the encounter.
The pain caused by his early and unexpected death was certainly enough to never repeat the memories with words. Something, the three had promised each other, even more so after the happenings at Marineford. “Hey!” Zoro waved his hand in front of the markswoman, demanding her undivided attention. And it was a coincidence that she heard his voice over the loud thudding of her heart against her rib cage. “Get dressed, we have to leave!”
Instead of following the instructions, she stepped out of the costume. What Luffy spoke, made her question the escape, question the current life they are living, question what happened that day when the ship got destroyed by the cannon balls of a World Noble. Dry lips pressed together in a tight line, fingers clenched into fists, she turned away from her friends and towards the secret entrance to the colosseum.
“We don’t have time for this! There’s nothing left in there for us!” Zoro shouted, pulling the costume higher to hide his signature hair color and his well-known face from the people of Dressrosa. “Maybe not for you, but I need to know if Luffy’s speaking the truth or if someone decides to play a distasteful game with us,” She stated, already walking slowly back into the Colosseum and leaving Zoro back to carry Luffy away.
Thoughts scattered in her mind, the reminder that he couldn’t be alive after his small boat got attacked by a World Noble’s crew. Caught in the fire, the explosion didn’t allow him to escape, and they held a funeral in Foosha Village for the boy. She cried many nights, almost each night she fell asleep with wet cheeks and the burning red color in her eyes.
“Sabo,” She whispered to herself, the head hanging lower than usual as she inspected the crossbows in her wrists. “Is that really you,”
Steel arrows prepared in the mechanism, she already expected to be disappointed again. A person, who could imitate another, or maybe Luffy’s idiotic behavior caused him to forget that the blonde boy couldn’t be alive. Still, she wandered through the corridors, following the shouts of an excited commentator about the next match-up. It was easy to find a way to the stands, which were filled with multiple people who eagerly watched the competition.
The people clapped and watched as the competitors of the finale started to fight in the middle of the arena. Names, which were known ones across the sea. And the markswoman did not seem vaguely interested in the fight until a familiar costume caught her eyes. It looked exactly like Luffy in disguise except for the signature scar on the chest. The person underneath the costume was paler than her Captain, and the x-shape was definitely drawn across the muscular chest.
Also, Luffy just escaped the Colosseum with Zoro to save Law from being executed by Doflamingo. Running a hand through her hair, she stared exactly at the person who acted as Lucy, fighting with a steel pipe before focusing on the middle part of the arena. Fingers clenched in the brown leather gloves, he punched the ground and the platform broke apart in seconds. "What the fuck," She whispered underneath a breath, eyebrows raised and pupils dilated in shock. The power was unbelievable.
The people scattered in the arena, running towards the exits to leave the Colosseum as the water underneath the arena caused chaos. Pieces of the ground floated around, contestants drowning in the water as Devil Fruit eaters weren't able to swim. Large fishes swam with the currents, one of them having a chest bound on their back. The man in the gladiator costume jumped straight to the treasure, while others cursed underneath their breaths. "This can't be," The markswoman muttered again, placing her feet on the railing and preparing herself to fight against the costumed lad to receive Ace's legacy herself.
One person stayed in the stands with her. A woman, dressed in a short skirt, and a very bright, pink blouse with a brown hat. She looked cute, especially with the stockings, and she held onto the pile of clothing in her arms. The chest was ripped open by the man who took Luffy's disguise and showed a smile when the Mera Mera No Mi was tightly in their hands. "I've won, this is mine," He declared, a deep. and almost too familiar voice rang in her ears. So familiar, she almost ended up starstruck and rooted to the railing of the stand around the ring.
Seconds too late, the second Lucy took a bite out of the Fire Fruit, and immediately regretted doing so. "How disgusting," He shouted, his tongue hanging out of his mouth while forcing the last pieces of the valuable Logia into his burning mouth. The woman in the cute costume beside the markswoman watched, a giggle leaving her mouth as she witnessed the facial expressions.
Within seconds, and still caught in the wave of memories and the simple glimpse of a familiar voice, the Straw Hat's markswoman stumbled into the ring. In mid-air, the Lucy duplicate proudly presented the growing fire around his fist. A strong attack, a loud word echoed through the arena above the gasps of surprise. "Hiken," He shouted, losing the fake beard and cheap, golden helmet while destroying the entirety of the ring. Enemies drowned in the floating waves, and got hit by the crumbled platforms and thick pieces of stones hitting their bodies.
Landing safely on the ground underneath the ring, the Lucy duplicate smirked to himself and placed a saved Rebecca on the ground. After him, the woman with the folded clothing followed quickly after him, jumping confidently from one piece to another. And while, the markswoman attempted her best to stand tall while sliding down the side of the ring, she landed on her ass on the hard stone ground in one of the tunnels. Eyes squinted together, the footsteps of a group of people running close to her caught her attention, and helped her to receive the power over herself back.
"Fuck," She cursed, standing up and letting the span of her soft palm rub over her aching lower back and the curve of her butt cheeks. "What's going on," She muttered to herself, looking around to at least find out where she was. No one knew about the secret tunnel system underneath the town, at least, none have told her about what was going on in those bunkers of Dressrosa.
Surely, the SMILE factory must be hidden in such a place. One of the many reasons why the Straw Hats came to this forsaken land, and decided to help the tortured folk regain their freedom from Doflamingo.
"Who the hell are you?" The voice of the female gladiator, the woman with the pink hair and the sword, echoed through the quiet tunnels. She was saved by the man who disguised himself as Lucy, taking the costume away from Luffy and eventually telling him important information about Sabo. Shared secrets that caused the emotional damage to the Straw Hat, and even rendered him unable to speak a full sentence without repeating the name of a long-lost brother. "We're from the Revolutionary Army," The man explained, chuckling about the change of emotion on Rebeka's face.
And suddenly, the markswoman, who was just straddled by the destruction of the fighting area, felt her heart thudding against her rib cage. Quickly, and even harshly which almost caused unbearable pain to her body. Such a familiar glint in the voice of the adult, such a sweet hint in the melodic sound of the man's tone. "I'm Sabo,"
Eyes dilated within seconds, tears gathering on her lower lashline as the name easily left the male's mouth. Spoken without hesitation, without fear and without regret of acting as if he was someone, who couldn't be alive anymore. Couldn't have survived the attack on his small, wooden boat about twelve years ago. Fingers clenched into fists, she reloaded the crossbows on her wrists and ran toward the spot between the multiple barrels. Fast steps allowed her to witness the moment as the girl with the goggles placed an all-too-familiar hat in a larger version on top of the blonde's hat.
"You're not the original Lucy," Rebeka stated, pointing a finger at the man who was busy controlling the fire in his palm. He still had trouble, attempting to pull his brown leather gloves over his digits. " The original Lucy is a pirate. A chaotic but brave one, who will become the King of the Pirates, he's my little brother," The man in his noble outfit chuckled, pushing his hands into the pockets of his coat after finally hiding his soft digits in the leather material of his gloves.
Stopping in her tracks, but already in sight for the group of three and the former female contestant to see, her fingers released the clenched fists at the sight and the explanations he was giving.
There might be a chance that someone could imitate Sabo to mess with Luffy's head, but none could talk about the Straw Hat with such pride and belief. From the first day on Luffy revealed his dream to his older brothers, the noble-born boy with the pipe on his back believed in the dreams of the crying boy. It was possible, it all seemed so possible for them. She remembered those moments, those little, beautiful moments of a carefree past so perfectly.
"S-Sabo," She stuttered out the name of a man, who gave her enough as a ten-year-old. Who offered her love before she could even describe the word or emotion before she even experienced the positive and negative aspects of it.
Tears dwelled in the corners of her widened eyes, blown pupils stared at the trio of the revolutionary army as the one in the middle lifted his head. Tilted to the side, the brim wasn't hiding parts of his face anymore. A breath, she took seconds ago, stuck in her tightened throat at the sight. Words mixed between spit and air, a confusing mixture of syllables on the tip of her tongue. Eyes, she remembered so dearly. Eyes, so innocent with a glint of courage hidden in the depth. Eyes, who presented a deep love and caring for the young, noble-born girl around twelve years ago.
Eyes, which burst open at the sight of the brave warrior. The burned skin around his eye stretched as he raised his blonde brows at the female, whose gentle features with the sharp twist were a familiar picture to him. Sabo, who froze while playing with the insides of his pockets and watched the droplets slowly roll down the span of her flustered cheeks. "This can't be true," A whisper so sincere, so quiet it only belonged to her and couldn't be carried by the gentle blows of wind towards the revolutionaries in front of her.
"Sabo-kun," The woman in the light pink blouse wrapped her slender arms around the blonde's arm, shaking him hesitantly from left to right. "What's wrong with you? Are you alright?" She was almost whining, whimpering at the state of her superior. Almost fearing that the Mera Mera No Mi consumer froze in place.
"How," The stunned markswoman spoke again, comprehending the confrontation of a moment, she doubted since Luffy spoke the forbidden name. A scene, she dreamt of. Meeting him again, seeing him all grown up and becoming the person he talked about while watching the sun hide behind the horizon. "How are you alive? This must be a cruel joke," She shook her head, outstretching her arm and showing him her flat palm while stepping back. Some devil fruit user must be playing a very twisted, and sick game.
So, she aimed her crossbow at his figure. The steel head of the arrow pointed at the man's chest while being released with the simple twitch of her thumb and pointer finger. No, Sabo was dead, he was killed when they were still children. He never reached the first island, he never left the boat. They saw him and witnessed how the boat sank after burning. No, this wasn't Sabo, this couldn't be him. "You died! You fucking died twelve years ago. Stop using Sabo's image against us," She shouted, firing another one of her deadly arrows but it was no use. After eating the Logia Devil Fruit, his body was made of pure heat. Flames closed the hole in his stomach without pain and blood, and she stared at the sight. A familiar view, she witnessed when Ace toyed with his enemies until destroying their existence.
"No, you're not real,"

Happy New Year ♡
Just thought I'd make a post about the situation with the english subtitles for Idaten Jump and how it's going so far!
I'm pleased to say that we've completed 35 episodes so far! That means we're only 17 away from finishing the show at 52 :D
I'm still uploading on the internet archive, as always, but there had been an unplanned break in between when the site got taken down and upload wasn't allowed. But I did have the episodes ready and I have caught up to the schedule as decided beforehand– we're still going good at the pace of an episode every two weeks.
I also managed to get my dad's old laptop which means that I'm now actually translating the stuff directly into subtitle files, instead of video editting like before. I really am glad that I can do this because, this has many benefits:
1. The burned-in video files are now practically half the size of what it previously used to be. So episodes upto 33 will have file sizes going up to 372mb BUT 34 onwards the files are worth 170-180mb mostly!
2. There are now subtitle files (SubRip .srt and Advanced SubStation Alpha .ass) available on the archive along with the video files for Episode 34 and onwards. Not for 33 and before, unfortunately, but that's being worked on!
3. Directly making subtitle files means that Team Shark Translations, which was working hard to get subtitles from the ready-made videos don't have to work from Ep. 34 on! It's a direct process from me to you now :)
The translation team has been busy with their own lives, understandably so, so the subtitle files are not caught up till 34. But in the event that I manage to finish all upto Ep. 52 (which is not likely anytime soon), I will try to go back and ensure that all the previous subtitles are also ready.
Having all 52 episode subtitle files possibly means that we might be able to get the subs up on anime websites that stream the show, which I'm personally very excited for. It's the main goal I'm working towards, because the whole point of this endeavour is to preserve the translations/subtitles so that we can enjoy Idaten Jump in its original form.
Back to the translation work, like I said, we're 35 down and 17 more to go.
Uploads are still bi-weekly, so you can expect Ep. 36 on 12th Jan, and 37 on 26th Jan and so on.
While I'm certainly trying to maintain this pace for as long as possible, I'm afraid that there will be some unexpected (and expected) delays this year while working on it. I'm quite literally buried in work from all sides going forward because I'm graduating this year and I also am aiming to get admissions for my masters. Between everything going on in my life currently, there will probably be certain days when the schedule will be broken. I don't know if there is anyone keeping up with the show on this bi-weekly schedule (but I think there isn't?) so, if there is someone, I hope you see this.
If I don't miss any of my scheduled posts, that would mean that the show will be fully translated by August 2025. That is a literal dream. That is unfortunately not very likely. The upper end is probably December 2025, but definitely no longer than that. I'm sure I can definitely finish the show within this year. So everyone just hold on a little longer ><
I have been slow about the whole process and everyone has been incredibly patient and kind ♡ I really want to thank you all for the love and support you've shown, and I hope to make this last stretch enjoyable with you all. This community has been a great joy to be in and I can't wait for us to have more people hopefully when the show is fully translated.
I hope everyone has a great 2025 (≧▽≦)

Recent animo-mangoid experiences in elderly (a blog post)
In case you forgot I am a huge nerd, I shall remind you with the latest updates to my not insignificant power level. I finished some long-running series and then the curiosity and boredom got the better of me and I watched/read some of which the kids do these days. Here are some haphazard thoughts on all that.
SNK
First of all, I finished what there was to finish of Shingeki no Kyojin and as it was a story I followed for a decade, guess I could say a few parting words. I wanted to say it when the manga ended already but the anime ascertained it: it had a decent ending. A fine ending, especially as far as long-running manga goes. It was pretty realistic; warping your dreams and spitting them out into something lacklustre and problematic like life or something. I'm glad to say some of my favs survived the gruesome ride and got some semblance of happy ending, although things are not perfect. In such a story, I don't think they can or should be. Even standing on the sidelines, I understood the series got quite controversial reputation after the years but I didn't see it that way, personally. Sure, the topics and themes covered were controversial but if you can differentiate between writing about and endorsing something, I guess there's nothing more to talk about.
By the way, back when I was in Japan, I visited a SNK exhibition titled "Shingeki no Kyojin Ten: FINAL". Part of it was a room where you could "hear the sound of the series finale" (reminder this was back in 2019). It was taken quite seriously, we had to enter the room one by one and were forbidden from using phones/cameras there. And we heard some sound... that I guess could be part of one of the final scenes? Anyway, if there was some interest in that, I could put together a post about my visit there, there was some interesting stuff for fans of this series! I have no idea if there is someone who did that already but if someone would like to see that, let me know. I don't think I'll do it on my own accord, anyway.
2. KNY, JJK
Up next, I started some two of the 'shonen big three' of the last few years (as I identified them with my perception of the fandom places I frequent). To see what the fuss is about, obviously. First off, it was Kimetsu no Yaiba, I started watching the anime on Netflix in 2022 and am currently caught up with the anime. This year, I did the same with Jujutsu Kaisen anime. I grouped them cause the experience I had felt somehow similar. First of all, they are both entertaining and enjoyable. You can easily find characters to like. And remind yourself once again of the appeals of battle shonen. It's kinda comfy falling back into old shonen and thinking like, "ah, this is like my baby's first shonen!" While some older people would be like, "*baby's first shonen* is just like this 80s/90s shonen". It never dies and the things that work, work. Anyway, superficial take but the designs of KNY ad JJK work so well (both in their own rights). I can imagine how they fuel fanwork, although I have been too scared until now to check out the tags until I was caught up. I understand KNY is finished and JJK is ending, too. I decided I will stick to the anime for now with KNY and I will catch up with JJK manga that I'm currently reading. And I caught up, five chapters before finale, at a very satisfying point. After that, I'll take a peek into the tags. It's not like I see either work as perfect but I can see how even some of the flaws make it more enjoyable. Survey question for those who've read until here: are you trying to understand the "logic" of the techniques and attacks as they explain it in battle shonen? I feel like I gave up on that, I'm just like, "naruhodo" and I don't even try to wrap my head around it :'D That 6-8 year old who yelled "domain expansion!" in a as he ran by at the swimming pool may actually understand better. I was already shocked that he is watching (or rather, streaming) this in foreign language at his age, then thought about what kind of rating JJK would have... and then I remembered us watching DBZ at an age or not much older than him, tried to remember how violent it was and pondered things like whether the topics in JJK are somewhat heavier anyway although people got holes in their torsos and cleaved in half in DBZ too and how he might as well yelled 'bankai!' or something instead... and yeah, I'm thinking I'm old. But KNY and JJK are still enjoyable haha.
3. HAIKYUU!!
When I was deciding what to watch after this, I was reminded of that volleyball anime called VOLLEYBALL!! that I had started watching in Japan. I think I only got as far as one or two series but I started from there and man, I hadn't expected I would enjoy it so much! This is, hands down, the easiest thing to watch for me from all that is mentioned in this post. If there were 900 episodes out, I would just keep watching it every day after work. Part of it surely is that I played volleyball in middle school/junior high. It felt so nostalgic to reminisce about. We had felt so serious about it too, representing our school, although, since I never continued with in high school, I never got to the more technical volleyball stuff. It still made me miss playing, the atmosphere is depicted SO well. Maybe it's also nostalgic cause my first anime was also a sports anime. And yes, ngl, gimme the cute boys playing sports, getting all emotional about it... it's so pure haha! I'm sure the fandom is not just that but I think I will enjoy the fanworks just as much once I'm caught up. BTW, the new movie surprisingly made it into mainstream cinemas here so yeah, I should watch it soon. It was another thing that made me go 'hmmm' like, I get Ghibli but are the kids actually coming to cinema to see this? Was this a calculated choice on the distributor's side to play this at the major cinemas all over the country; an anime movie that takes place in the middle of a long story and works only so much as a standalone (I assume) if you haven't followed these characters? Whatever the case, I guess anime is becoming more mainstream than ever before. And yup, Haikyuu is turning out to be something close to my kokoro, I would compare it to Yuri on Ice I suppose... (yeah my kokoro has another tiny crack in it now that the movie was cancelled).
4. DUNMESHI
Yep, we come to this one. I heard so many good things about Dungeon Meshi and when I read the synopsis, I was even more intrigued. I tried the manga, then few episodes of the anime, then manga again and I stuck to it and finished it a few weeks back. And yes, BRAVA, Kui-sensei. I had a hunch that this one would work better as a manga and I think it does. It was absolutely refreshing to me! So much brilliant thought that is considered taboo for some reason? And Kui's writing makes you think, "but why (is this taboo if people are like that?)" The art is very good, too. So neat, well-thought out and technically great. The ending felt satisfying to me, too. I have no complaints about this little series. You don't even need to ship anyone; it is funny, intelligent, and enjoyable without all that.
5. THE REMAKES
One last category I wanted to shortly mention are the recently announced remakes. It feels crazy to see Ranma 1/2 getting remade! I caught that, then I caught news of a new Rose of Versailles project?! And then came news of the Rayearth remake??? The first two I guess are something that could have been expected with the popularity of Takahashi and Lady Oscar BUT it was with Rayearth that I realized that anything can happen now. It doesn't mean it has to be good, but it CAN happen (first such shock I remember was the Netflix adaptation of 7SEEDS which was miserable but I am still shook that it even happened). BTW, I never even watched/read Rayearth. I brought the manga from Japan to read it in original because I was always intrigued by it and Clamp (and let's be honest, it was also because it was just a handful of tankobons). I still haven't got around to it but I want to do it before watching it, whether the original or the remake.

(It’s been so long I don’t really remember who I’ve followed lately so if this my first time in your inbox: hi 👋 )
Hello there! :) It has been a while indeed, for me as well! Life has been quite busy so I've spent way less time on Tumblr than I did before and tried working on some long neglected projects like finishing old photobooks. I also was out at a friend's birthday when George was streaming, so I only caught a couple of clips afterwards. I did enjoy seeing the mpreg resurgence in the wake of it. XD
I'm honestly just glad that George feels comfortable enough to post and stream again. I hope he enjoyed that. I loved the video with his mum even if it was older, she seems really sweet!
I have exactly zero influence on what happens over there with the election so I've forbidden myself from feeling anxious about it. Very much keeping my fingers crossed for everyone in the US though that this has a somewhat good end.
And that's it from me! (Apart from a new fic which got posted yesterday in case you want to check it out. ^^) I found that I don't at all miss not hearing about what's going on in the MC community outside of Dteam, which honestly just encourages me to stay away more. XD
Take a deep breath, good to hear from you! Have a lovely rest of your day. :)

Tysm for being my first ever ask ever, also!!!!! I am on my knees bowing 🙇‍♂️
OKAY, "HEATWAVE AU" INFO HERE WE GO!!!!!!! I'LL CRAM IN AS MUCH AS I CAN!!!!!!
This AU progresses much like the canon up until Sunburst joins, and a bit after that (long enough for Sunburst to make friends with Twilight, Trixie, Maud, y'know!), HOWEVER!!! There are differences! Buckle up, this could sound a bit confusing! (This is written in story form! Other general info at the end of post!)
Let's start with Sunburst backstory in this AU:
Sunburst was a single child, as was Starlight. Ever since he picked up his first book he was invested in literature, history and magic. He mostly taught himself to read after his single mother taught him the basics. He was highly intelligent from a very young age, which caused him to feel left out and too different to make friends.
He was four-years old when he met three and a half-year old Starlight. They shared the same struggle, felt they had so much in common they immediately connected underneath the tree casting shade to that golden brown wooden bench. Books in air they didn't notice one-another at first, but once they did the questions and recommendations began.
The children became inseperable. They read together obviously, frequent library trips leading up to their spot. They played board games, practiced magic and then eventually started doing more traditional friend-stuff. They made bracelets, went to the playground, they had so much fun they forgot the other kids even existed.
At this point both of the little children were completely normal, healthy, happy. So they were until they both turned nine.
One day, when the two were hanging outside of town on a hill over water practicing magic and reading, Starlight picked up a book from a tall stack to catch up on a hard spell. The other watched as she tried to perform it, succeeding for the first time! However the toll took over as she bumped into the books and fell off the cliff with them. The stream of terror caught Sunburst as he began performing a spell he had only read once. The adrenaline of fear led him to succeed, each book and Starlight teleported back up. He fell to his feet, wobbly, going over to his best friend to check on her. Panicked, she took some deep breaths. She was helped up, both of the kids swaying weakly.
"That... That was incredible! We didn't have time to study the spell properly, how did you manage to cast it?! You saved the books, you-... you saved me..." She breathed, looking to him hesitantly. "... Thank you."
He tried calming himself down like her. Eventually he let out a breathy huff as he hugged her tightly. "I- I don't know how, but I'm- but I'm so glad it worked. I'm so glad you're safe." He felt her hug him back, the connection unbreakable. "Me too, bff!"
Suddenly a bright ray of sunlight shone on the two, framing Sunburst as he began glowing a fantastical shade of orange. The two never separated, up until the scene was over and the glow faded. They both looked to his flank/back*, a radiant cutiemark filling his veins with magic and purpose.
(*In my humanized versions their cutiemarks are tattoo-like pictures on their upper back, between the back bone thingies :D)
The two hopped around with joy, gathering up the books as they ran back to town to tell his mother and her father. The parents raved at this knowledge, and without further ado Sunburst's mother signed him up for magic school.
Starlight didn't admit it, but she was jealous. It was even a surprise to Sunburst once he was told about magic school. While he was excited Starlight felt a sense of betrayal, the two sat down for one last hang-out before he left. On that hang-out they talked about how they felt about the situation, it ended with a promise to meet up every month at least once until Starlight got in as well.
That promise was never fulfilled, and letters weren't sent or received.
Now we transition to Sunburst's school years:
In magic school he started off excited. It only took him a week to be loaded up with so much work he had no time for years. Worst part was most of it he already knew, but had to do again.
Year after year he was burnt out more and more. A's after A's after A's he kept overworking, the enjoyment of studying was being wasted on things that seemed useless to him, boring. He had forgotten what home was like, he had forgotten everything about fun and comfort, reminded only every now and then as he found time to read up on new and advanced studies, ancient history, poetry.
He turned 21. He had finally moved to actual advanced studies, and after three years of that he figured it was things he already knew. He had exhausted his enjoyment completely. Dark times only got darker as sunlight didn't shine to his soul. Impulsive, intrusive, agressive thoughts had haunted him since a few months into school. It all felt completely pointless, and that was when it happened. He got his first ever B on an exam.
That grade served as his breaking point, all those years of talking to himself and repeating things he excelled at, and now he stumbled at something he could do with a flip of his head? He took time off of school, and it was during that week of free-time that he found himself locked to his bed. Book after book after book, notes after notes, he studied things he actually wanted to. But it felt different. The sentences in his head never silenced, and he had no one to reach out to.
In the light of an oil-lamp he reached for a book, knocking over his old bags. The ones he never fully had time to unpack. It was like a time capsule, he brought the oil-lamp close and began looking through.
His favorite books on history, magic... and his favorite ever poetry and short-story book. His head quieted as he saw it, he sat to the ground atop scattered literature and papers. He opened the book, seeing text written on the hard-cover's first blank page. That, and a photograph.
"I hope this book brightens your days as much as it has mine!!!"
》 Starlight Glimmer ☆ BFF
The photo, of him and her, just young little kids. The way they smiled so brightly, the way she looked at the camera so kindly.
A window was slammed open, the curtains aggressively swaying in the wind as sunlight shone radiantly in his soul. His eyes wet, wide. His head was completely silent. A smile slowly crawled up to his lips as he detached the photo from the book. His head spoke. He and it were in agreement for once.
That agreement was simple.
"... Starlight..."
His head exploded as he found himself chuckling, he read the book while keeping the photograph in his grasp. He looked at it every few seconds, smile never-fading. His soul bumped as the sunlight was shifting from gentle oranges and reds to something much different. A hue of brown and grey light hit his heart as it was coated in purple. His brain, it scratched at his skull. He grabbed a fistful of his coat and buried his face into it. The smile was so wide it hurt. He loved every second the sentences circled his thoughts, no objections to them.
And so he dropped out in the middle of his advanced studies.
What happened after? Where did he go? Well:
He went back to his hometown. He might've forgotten her, but he'd never forget again. Each and every spot reminded him of her. The library, the park, the playground, their homes.
Once his mother learnt he had dropped out she questioned him, however he assured he was more than fine. He assured he had a purpose, a plan, and what he needed was to see Starlight again.
"Oh, honey... she moved away a long time ago." She informed him. His breath stopped, but nontheless he continued looking around. He met Starlight's father, who gave him some of their old books, toys, artifacts as reminders. "If you find her, please tell her father's waiting for a visit!" He radiantly smiled, met with an equally big one from the younger. However, not related to him. Rather, to her.
He had recovered many memories, but there was one more place. With his bags he walked to the cliff where he got his cutiemark. He reminisced that day. His smile was uncontrollable, until his nose scrunched. He was suddenly hyper-aware of where his mark was. For the first time ever, he truly despised feeling it on his person.
And so he left, finding a home in the newly reformed Crystal Empire at age 25.
He made it his sanctuary, performing and functioning as any normal citizen. The library that was his home was overfilled with books, however there was one room that completely differed from the rest. His bedroom.
The shelves, full of each item he and Starlight ever interacted with. Pages, drawings, pictures hung up on the walls, even on his bedframe. His sheets were the color of her skin, pillowcase her hair, tables coated with old fabrics and sheets that used to belong to her. Most items he gained honestly from the town, from her father. Some were gathered through more particular means.
Now that was the true sanctuary part of his home.
No matter how much he studied, how much he did, how much he spent, it felt mild compared to the thought of her. Looking for her proved far more difficult, the only comfort in the world those bracelets she had made for him. They stayed on him religiously. He looked for her religiously. Her diary was his bible. She was his burst of sun, but it wasn't enough.
So he took looking for her far more seriously.
For some years he traveled. He finally found someplace with her footprints, a town at the edge of Equestria. He interviewed the people there, and the people spoke of her with hesitance and hatred. His head boiled at the despise, but his eyes glimmered at knowledge of her, especially as he was let into her old house to inspect. He grabbed her sheets, carpets, abandoned books, everything he could find. The scent of lavender and eucalyptus never retired as her signature fragrance. He then left for his home, still not knowing her whereabouts.
For the next year he didn't find any new leads. Her sheets were his world. Her scent was his brain. He studied and read, danced with a figure shaped after the most recent photograph of her he had gotten from the village. His only interactions were with he, himself and the projection of her. He daydreamed, spoke to the image of her, she was the only thing that pulled that genuine of a smile out of him. His room was almost the perfect temple. All he needed was...
The Meeting, and More.
One day someond knocked at his door. The mailperson, most likely. He waited for them to leave, but all of the sudden,
"Sunburst? Are you home? It's me, uhm... Starlight Glimmer."
He nearly exploded. He knocked over his vase, with the dried lavender and eucalyptus. He stumbled over to the door, his breath completely unstable. Nowhere near as much as his head, granted.
He opened the door, appearing as calm as he could.
There she was, right in front of him. She was so, so undescribably beautiful. Breathtaking Goddess, it was his first conscious thought. All of him was in agreement. The sunlight in his soul shifted to shades of purple and mint.
"... Starlight? Is it really you?" He could only say. But he knew.
The small conversation the two struck up, it was so awkward. Silences filled with nothing, hesitation...
So much suppressed passion it almost made him choke. He wanted to lunge at her, grab her into her hold, sink his head into her body so deep she couldn't live without him.
In his awkwardness he shut the door. Tightly clenching his teeth, it hurt him so much. Not the pressure, but what he did. He couldn't stand it, how could he shut the door on HER? On his air, on his water, on his body.
Before long, after much regret, she returned. She came in, and it took every string in his body to not cage her to the safety of his home on the spot. No, he wanted to see her truth before that.
Hours of conversation, of agonizing hiding, until finally the truth was shared. She showed herself to him, and he couldn't be happier. But it hurt, it hurt how he couldn't smile in the serious moment.
(The canonical events happen. Take note of the fact that Sunburst acts as he does in the show as he suppresses himself, so there isn't anything suspicious to anyone else.)
And after those events he had to let her go again. However, though he had responsibilities as a Crystaller he had a goal now.
Ponyville. Visit as much as possible, as quietly as possible.
Undercover, disguised, prepared. His room was flooded with photographs, items, and her very fresh scent. But his life still wasn't perfect. He needed every bit of her, and the pretend-games were taking too much a toll on him.
So one time he scheduled an actual meet-up with her. No extra plans, just hang-out... until he got an idea.
He befriended her friends, pretending not to note her sadness as he got along with them, had so much in common with them. And at the end of the day, when they finally got time together, she was pushed over the edge thanks to a word or two from him. As she ran off he just wanted to chase, restraint saving him in hopes for results.
And results he got. A form of new connection, a missing piece from her. And there it was.
(Things continue like this, stalkerish and subtle manipulation, aside that according to canonical events, until Sunburst becomes the Vice Headmare to Starlight's Headmare.)
From There on Out.
There's no official 'canon' to Heatwave AU from that point. I have fun from there on out!!!! At this point I need to mention this is all so incredibly unhealthy, I know it, and in no way should this behavior be tolerated or romanticized in real life. This is toxic on purpose, more as an outlet!
I don't ship Canonical Sunburst x Starlight Glimmer, because it's extremely one-sided. However I ship my (non-AU) Fanon Sunburst x Starlight, because I have made it not one-sided >:3 and of course the Heatwave AU is EXTREMELY toxic shipping, NOT for the sake of romance but purely as (again) an outlet, creativity and guilty-pleasure :D
I have an alternative where Heatwave!Sunburst traps and cages Heatwave!Starlight, an alternative where they don't necessarily depart, an alternative where Starlight gets her spirit broken and runs to Sunburst, as I said it's just for guilty outlet purposes so there are a bunch of different versions!!! But the one I listed is the most common base, though it can be modified as well!!! Just rather not.
POINT IS, Sunburst is a stalker. He is a sick, obsessed, unhealthy stalker in each version. Someone who got driven into that situation because of lack of outlets, help or options. None of his actions have justifications, no matter how much he speaks about it as 'love'.
Starlight is still Starlight, the same as in the show. However, depending on the alternative, she could fall into that unhealthy lifestyle as well, be broken down, or maybe she could escape his eyes... mmmaybe, best case scenario, evem help him? 👀 It's all up to creativity, bb! >w<
NOW!!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING THIS, AND BEING INTERESTED!!!!!!!
Feel free to ask any further questions if you want!!! And my Messages are always open, drop me one if you want to become friends maybe X3
EITHER WAY! I LOVE YOU OMFG TYSM TYSM TYSM TYSMMMMMMMMM I LUV YOU BOO HUNNY MARSHMALLOW!!!!!! TYSMTYSMTYSMTYSM!!!!!! LITERALLY HAVE THE MOST AMAZING LIFE EVER FOR REAL YOU ARE SO AMAZING MWAH MWAH GOOD TIMEZONE TO YOU!!!!! XOXO 💕👽✌️✨️

putting an arm around the other’s waist for Kurt/Ves 🥺
Also managed to sneak in a handholding prompt at the end, since it's been a hot minute since I filled one of those. :D
16. only linking the pinkies together, not ready to let go completely
---
The area around Vigshádír was... idyllic. Tall shady trees, muted birdsong, far removed from any other village or settlement, meadows dotted with red, blue, and dark purple flowers. She’d have to ask Síora for their true names at some point. A rippling stream cut through rocky outcroppings and spilled over low waterfalls, and even the tenlens and other natural threats kept a distance from the village outskirts. It was beautiful. Peaceful.
So much so that Vesper almost forgot why they were there.
The thought of Constantin pierced back through as she stepped stone to stone across the stream and her foot slipped. One arm shot out for balance, the other instinctively clutching the satchel of gathered plants closer so she didn’t drop them. At least she’d almost reached the far bank, and so stumbled through the shallows rather than soaking her clothes. A hand caught her arm, steadying her.
“You alright?” Kurt asked, grip gentle but firm on her elbow.
“Mm.” Vesper looked up with a sheepish smile. “Just got distracted.”
His hand lingered on her arm even after his grip loosened with the assurance.  “Better now?”
“Not really,” she grinned, blatantly staring at him and shifting her grip on the bundle of plants.
Kurt caught the insinuation, but scoffed and rolled his eyes as he started to turn away. Vesper smirked at the pink climbing the back of his neck, though that might’ve just been sunburn.
“Kurt.” She slid her arm around his waist to tug him back. Waited until he met her eye. “I’ll try not to come on too strong, but you will have to get used to me... appreciating you differently.” She underscored the words by rocking forward to brush a kiss against his jaw.
He stood stock-still, breath catching at the kiss, then escaping in a wry laugh. “I’ll work at it, Green Blood,” he said softly, his hand sliding up her arm to cup her jaw, “but you’ll have to grant me some grace.”
Vesper leaned into the touch with a soft smile. “As much as you need,” she promised, still looking at him as if trying to commit his face to memory anew. Long as I get to enjoy the view. “I want you to be happy.”
He gave a half-smile and tipped her tricorn back to press a kiss to her forehead. “I am,” he promised quietly, and Vesper bit her lip to hold back the thrill of satisfaction the words sent through her.
“I’m glad,” she said, just as quietly, briefly squeezing tighter with the arm around his waist. “Thank you, for the help.” She nodded toward the stream, securing the satchel of plants to her belt.  “We.., we should get back to it. We only need the mushrooms before we can return to Peddir.” And prove themselves to the village, so they would trust her, so she could talk to the tierna harh cadachtas, so she could explain how to help Constantin...
Kurt sighed, nodded. “Right you are, Green Blood.” He straightened her tricorn and the two eased apart with matching reluctance. Vesper deftly twisted her hand as his slipped past, linking their pinkies. She wasn’t quite ready to let go yet.
Kurt chuckled and humored her, at least for a few minutes, as they moved to catch up with Síora and get back to the task at hand.

recap of the past 2 days of my life (nothing super important; i just feel like writing a big diary-type post)
FRIDAY OCTOBER 13TH (spilling into saturday AM but i'm counting all of it as "friday night" even if it was after midnight. fight me)
had kind of a bad day at work. it was mostly okay but i was tired and didn't want to work and then got pulled into a teams call near the end of my shift and. ugh
took a nap after work
felt Bad after my nap. did not feel refreshed. felt kinda depressed honestly
spent the evening slowly getting ready to go out, wondering if i should just cancel my plans and stay home. almost cried a few times
finally got out of the house. just barely missed my bus. almost turned around and went right back home. almost cried, again
decided to stick it out and catch the next bus
made it to the Dance Party and had fun dancing all night even though i felt like a bit of a loser dancing by myself and not talking to anyone lol. music was too loud; i couldn't really strike up a conversation with anyone!!!! maybe i will find someone to go with me next time
party ended at 2am. there was supposedly a bus i could take home from a nearby bus stop around 2:20, so i headed out to the bus stop and waited. and waited. the bus did not show up. thankfully there was another bus scheduled half an hour later that did show up. but i sure did spend more than half an hour waiting out in the cold in the middle of the night. almost cried again for the 2394635th time
finally got home around 3:30ish i think?
got to bed around 4am
SATURDAY OCTOBER 14TH
woke up shortly before 5pm. oh god i slept almost 13 whole hours. guh
ate breakfast around 5:30pm
chatted with my sister to catch up on the whole day she had while i was asleep
did some laundry
had a lil movie night with sister; we watched Friday the 13th (1980) for the first time (neither of us had seen it before!) on this very appropriate day of Saturday the 14th. good movie!!! yet another one checked off the list of Iconic Horror Movies I Need To Watch
watched robbydude twitch stream. got to the stream late because i was busy watching movie. honestly was not expecting a robbydude stream tonight i kinda thought they'd spend more time cooking their arg stuff. anyway shoutout to robi. im glad i watched the "ultra despair boys" vods this year so i am Aware of a certain very obvious source of inspiration for robi. but i also feel personally attacked by this because how dare u make me think about d*nganr*npa and specifically one of my absolute favourite characters from that godforsaken series. anyway i love robi
so now u are caught up. on My Weekend

How I think the Bonten Trio would play the tortilla game ✨
Sanzu: GUYS GUYS LOOK AT THIS TIKTOK I FOUND :D
Rindou: What is it now Sanzu…
Sanzu: Hold up… you didn’t have to respond to me like that :’-)
Rindou: :| just get on with it.
Ran: Rin, leave him alone please :D What did you need to show us Sanzu?
Sanzu: At least someone cares *sobsob* BUT ANYWAY they’re playing this game where they fill their mouths with water then slap each other with tortillas till one of them laughs. I was gonna ask Mikey if he wanted to play but he’d probably shove the tortilla down my throat if i hit him or spat on him :D
Rindou: awww that would’ve been fun to see :(
Sanzu: bitch- 😃🔪
Ran: Sanzu. put the knife down please :D but is sounds fun, we should play!
Rindou: No thanks. I have people to beat up.
Ran: C’mooooooon Riiiiinnnnnn. Just think you can slap Sanzu across the face for no reason and make him possibly choke on water.
Sanzu: Now why the hell-
Rindou: I would still do that any other day but I guess watching him choke would be funny.
Sanzu: I should’ve never opened my mouth.
Ran: TOO BAD BITCH LETS PLAY THIS SHIT 🤩
And so the chaotic trio went out to get what they needed. Once they returned home, Sanzu passed out the water and tortillas. All three filled their mouths until they couldn’t hold anymore and stared at each other. Not even one second passed and Rindou slapped the absolute shit out of Sanzu. Ran, caught off guard, ended up gasping his water in instead of spitting out so there he is, on the floor, quite literally screaming, crying, throwing up 😭 Rindou spat his water out onto the both of them and laughed his ass off at their pain and suffering ✨ Now Sanzu… poor baby was on his knees holding his cheek looking like he was contemplating life, but surprisingly still held the water in his mouth.
Rindou: AHHAHAHAHAHAHAH IM SO GLAD I DECIDED TO PLAY. RAN DID YOU SEE THE WAY HIS HEAD JU- Ran… are you okay.
Ran: *still coughing up a lung, face red, and tears streaming down his face*
Sanzu: *looks up with crazed eyes swallowing his water* Payback time bitch. Ran get the fuck up we’re nOT FINISHED YET.
Rin: Alright then fucker let’s do this shit.
Sanzu ended up lightly slapping the tortilla on Rindou’s face but then punched the shit out of him right after.
Sanzu: HOW DOES THAT FEEL BITCH. LOOK WHOS ON THE FLOOR NOW SHIT HEAD AHAAAA
Rindou: 😃 *pulls out his gun* Run you dRUG ADDICT BITCH.
And so the game ends. Ran didn’t even have the chance to play since he was too busy fighting for his life. You’d expect him to just get up after everything he’s been through but no 💀 fucking w a t e r got the best of him. Sanzu and Rin are brawling, bringing out the weapons and beating the shit out of each other
kakucho: *walks in* Mikey said we’re having a me- what the hell is wrong with you all. 😐

Without Further Ado... Smut under the Cut!
Needly raindrops pricked your skin as you scurried through the drizzle to get to your apartment. It had been so sunny when you left, too. You were thinking what a waste it was wearing your new sundress when you smelled an oh so familiar aroma; chicken stock, kelp, bonito flakes…
“Mmmm… dashi.”
Shouto must have conned Katuski into making cold soba again. You could practically hear the argument in your head:
“No! No way!”
“Why not?”
“We’ve already had soba twice this week, you fucking fiend! No!”
“Pleeeaaase, ‘Tsuki-chi~”
And a soft blush would creep up Katsuki’s face, all the way up to his ears, then his pout would drop into a scowl, and…
“Tch. Fine! But this is the last time!”
And he’d mutter under his breath the entire time he got out his ingredients “something-something-icy-hot-bastard-something-it’s-all-he-fucking-eats.” Shouto had a knack for pushing all the right buttons to stroke Kacchan’s daddy kink just right.
You laughed silently to yourself as your key ground into the lock, a harmony of “welcome home!” greeted you as you toed off your shoes at the door.
“Dinner’ll be ready soon! Make sure you’re washed up!” Katsuki scolded preemptively, without even bothering to looking up from the scallions beneath his knife.
“Yes, ‘Tsuki-chi..” You teased, he paused his chopping to glare fiery daggers at you, only to resume with a shake of his head and additional muttering under his breath.
Shouto was the first to greet you in person, rising from his seat at the island to meet you at the door. He took your face in both hands, and kissed your forehead, the tip of your nose and finally your lips before saying, “Welcome home, Angel. How was your day?”
You waved away the pink dusting your cheeks, “Long..” you sighed.
“Then you should come sit, make yourself comfortable.” He smiled, offering his elbow to escort you to the couch. He never understood it, but his behavior always made him seem so… regal. He never failed to make you feel like a princess.
You flopped down into the waiting cushions with a sigh, only for Izuku to reach over and paw at your thigh,
“Noo, c’mere..” He whined. You obliged with a playful sigh, throwing your leg over his hips and pulling yourself up to face him. His broad palms rested on your thighs, and he looked up at you with cheeky grin,
“Hi~” He said.
“Hi..” Your hands found their way around to the nape of his neck, fingers toying with the curls there, elbows cradled in his broad shoulders..
He ran his hands over your legs until his crooked fingers crawled beneath the hem of your skirt, and then meandered down and around to cup the sides of your thighs. The motion sent little tingles up your spine, and his proximity to your more intimate areas set them aflutter.
“This new?” he asked, face scrunched up and curious about your dress.
“Yeah, kinda..”
“I like it..” He craned his neck up to give you one of his cappuccino kisses, deep and sweet, but still humming with potential energy; those crooked fingers finding their way under the elastic of your panties to give your ass a firm squeeze.
He broke the kiss when he felt a warm flush radiate from your face, and brought his nose to trace the contours of your jaw until his breath fanned the hollow behind your ear, “I’d very much like to see it off of you..” You felt him grin against your neck, before his teeth sunk into it, pulling a gasp from you before you were able to stop it.
“I’m glad to hear I was not the only one who thought so..” A cool voice spoke up behind you, startling you only slightly.
What had you leaping from your skin was slender, icy fingers, creeping along your jaw above where Izuku had been nibbling. Shouto’s thumbs rested on either of your temples, the tips of his fingers beneath your chin; he tilted your head back to meet him. Izuku reflexively bucked against the friction your leaning provided.
“You look truly radiant, Angel..” Shouto spoke, before leaning down, and pressing a kiss to your lips, slow and tender, like water filling a stream as a glacier melts. When the kiss ended, your lashes fluttered, trying to uncross your eyes.
“Oh.. I’m sorry…” Your heart leapt to your throat.
“I didn’t realize we were starting with dessert…” Katsuki’s voice, already gruff on a normal day, had dropped into a much more commanding baritone. His hand fisted on his hip.
“Katsuki, I-”
“What’s my name?” Shouto’s hands found your shoulders while Katuski began his steady advance into the living room.
Your eyes darted away, hoping to hide the embarrassment coloring your face;
“D-Daddy..”
Izuku twitched beneath you, his hardening length straining uncomfortably against his shorts watching your cute face pink up and your voice grow flustered.
Katuski came to a stop in front of you, nothing but Izuku and the couch he sat on between the two of you. He caught your lip beneath his thumb, a curled finger tucked under your chin guided you to face him.
“Look at me when I’m talking to you, Princess.”
“Sorry, Daddy…”
“Are we feeling greedy today, baby girl?”
“N-no! I was just-”
His fingers unfurled, clutching the side of your neck, his thumb dropping to complete the hold at your throat, not yet applying pressure, but threatening to.
“Oh, so we’re lying now?” He purred malignantly.
You hadn’t noticed you had leaned forward until you felt Izuku’s warm tongue lick a path between your breasts, catching your breath in your throat.
“No..” The sound came out more like a squeak than actual speech.
“No?..” Katsuki craned his head back, looking down his nose through lidded eyes as he tapped his finger twice against your throat, a warning.
“No, Daddy.”
“Oh good, because you know what happens to liars in this house?” His grasp tightened slightly, making your mouth water.
Izuku perked up from your cleavage, “C’mon Kacchan, ask her again..” His teeth nipped at the flesh of your breast while Shouto’s fingers skated down your shoulders, catching the straps of your dress, and sliding them down your arms to bare your chest, “Yes, I think she’ll be much more forthcoming..” He agreed before you felt him replace your discarded straps with cool kitten licks against your shoulders.
He loosened his grip, “Alright…” You felt his thumb come up to trace your bottom lip again, “Your boys are vouching for you, Princess, so I’ll ask again…” You squirmed beneath his touch, shifting your hips against Izuku’s, making him toss his head back, sucking air through his teeth while Shouto’s hands and the straps of your dress held you gently in place.
“Are we feeling… greedy?” His face was inches from yours, a cheshire grin playing on his lips.
Your words were lost on your tongue, so you nodded against his palm and closed your eyes, only for them to fly open when you felt your mouth invaded by a thick, calloused thumb, which quickly found your tongue, and pressed it down.
“I think we can oblige that, don’t you boys?” He chided over your yelps and whines. Shouto’s teeth found the crook of your neck, and his fingers your nipples, Izuku gave a lust laden giggle while he chewed his bottom lip and watched the two of them work you as drool puddled in your mouth.
Katsuki echoed with a dark chuckle of his own, releasing your tongue from beneath his thumb, allowing you to suck it wantonly. He pulled it from your lips with a wet pop, and gripped the sides of your face,
“Strip, and get on all fours.” He growled.
Shouto backed up slightly to give you space to scramble out of Izuku’s lap to do as you were told. He pouted at the loss, and beckoned Shouto to take your place. Before he could, however, Katsuki tangled newly freed fingers in green curls, and yanked them back roughly, eliciting a moan from Izuku.
“Don’t think I forgot you started this, Deku.” Only Izuku’s panting breaths could be heard in response, accompanied by his wide, lopsided grin.
“Brat..” Katsuki snarled through gritted teeth., “Get on your back. Head between her knees.” He flicked a finger in your direction before stomping around the couch to greet your form, ready and waiting to be used.
You looked up at Katsuki towering over you, palming his cock through his sweats.
“Are you gonna make me feel good, baby?”
You nod, yet another wave of blood rushing to your cheeks, “Yes, Daddy..”
You startled a little, but spread your knees farther apart when Izuku settled beneath you, now shirtless, his scars and muscled torso on full display.
“Do you want Deku to make you feel good?” You looked down into deep green pools, shimmering with want. Izuku’s hands found your thighs again, and he nipped and licked at the flesh there.
“Uuh-huh!” You gasped, briefly disregarding protocol for the man between your knees monopolizing your senses.
“Do you want Deku to make you cum?”
“Y-yes..” Where was this going?
Katsuki pondered for a moment.
“Okay, Deku can make you cum. In fact..” He crouched before you, meeting your eyes, “I expect it.”
“Mmhm.” He continued, “I want you to cum, as much as you want, all over Deku’s face.” You looked down at Izuku’s face, his eyes were now blown wide, thin emerald rings encircling his pupils, which seemed to focus hazily on your face. Katuski stood.
“You can cum.” He repeated, “He cannot.” As though to emphasize his point, Shouto yanked down Izuku’s shorts, and settled himself between his knees.
“What?!” Izuku snapped, glaring upside down at Katuski.
“Shouto will see that he doesn’t, won’t you, baby?”
“Yes, Tsuki~” You hear from behind you. Beneath you Izuku shudders, eyes fluttering closed as Shouto starts the process of edging him out of his mind.
When you looked up, Katsuki’s cock was lolling out over the waistband of his sweats, veins running the length of it like super highways delivering blood. His hand found your hair and tucked it behind your ear,
“And you are going to see that I do. Won’t you, Princess?”
One palm caressed your hair, gathering it all in a ponytail at the back of your head; the other jerked his cock, crystalline beads of precum forming on the head of it. You nodded, letting your tongue hang out of your mouth, a viscous strand of drool rolling off the tip and onto your chest.
Having witnessed that spectacle, a hungry look darkened Katsuki’s features. He patted his cock against your waiting tongue, the salty precum almost bitter against your tastebuds. He rutted once.. Twice… three times against the flat of your tongue, before using his handle on your hair to sink you all the way down, your nose coming flush against his pelvis.
You gagged on his head, the force of his thrust knocked you back on your heels, only for your cunt to meet Izuku’s waiting tongue. You moaned around his cock as Izuku started lapping at you like he’d been starved for days.
Katsuki pulled himself from your mouth, saliva cascading down your chin as you spluttered and coughed. Before your tongue could find your words, Izuku’s lips found your clit.
“Z-Zuzu!” You gasped, your eyes squeezed shut, and your hands coming down to entangle themselves in his hair. Katsuki’s grip tightened on yours as he yanked your head back up to meet his face.
“Really? Am I gonna have to fuck that name out of your mouth?” His voice rumbled before he impaled your face on him again, and proceeded to fuck the back of your throat again and again.
You knew you’d be hoarse, even so, Izuku licked delicious moans from the pit of your stomach, one hand kneading your thighs, the other probably lost somewhere in Shouto’s hair.
Izuku laved over your sex, working in a methodical circuit between your folds, purling his tongue over your clit, and sinking into your dripping trench before returning to the beginning, repeating this ritual more quickly with each revolution, until he was almost hysterical, at which point his tongue would stammer against your skin, which was likely the point he would have cum if Shouto wasn’t responsible for curtailing such an event.
It was at that point, however, that your thighs trembled and clenched around his face. You ground into his lips and nose while you sucked feverishly at Katsuki’s cock. Izuku continued to work your cunt through your orgasm, swallowing every ounce of it that you gave him.
The feeling morphed into a pleasurable flavor of pain as you approached overstimulation. You bucked away to escape his tongue, only for him to plant both hands on your hips and pulled you hard against him, his vision tunneling on lapping up every drop of you.
You didn’t know you had started crying until the tracks on your cheeks had started to cool. You looked up at Katsuki through glistening lashes, his punishment on your throat also grew more frenzied.
“Gonna… Fill your… Pretty… Mouth… Fuck!” He came with a shout as he dumped hot ribbons of cum down your throat before pulling out of you unceremoniously.
You collapsed forward coughing, gagging, sobbing into your folded elbows as another orgasm ripped through you, from Izuku’s tongue, Katsuki’s rough treatment, the knowledge of Shouto torturing the former at the command of the latter...
“He almost came, that time, Tsuki..” Shouto mewled behind you.
“Oh yeah?” Katsuki hollered, eyes still trained on you as you worked his twitching cock back to life. Once he was satisfied, he walked out of your limited peripheral, still caved in to your release.
“Why don’t you save our girl, and I’ll give this cumslut what he really wants..”
As though on cue, lean, pale legs entered your view and knelt in front of you. You felt cold, refreshing hands smooth over your back and rump, and a mild voice floated into your ear,
“Can you sit up for me, darling?”
You nodded dazedly, but failed to move.
“Hey!” Katsuki barked. Next thing you knew, Izuku vanished from between your legs, granting you a reprieve from his entrenchment in your pussy, allowing your muscles to loosen, and your body to relax.
Shouto turned you over, and pulled your limp body into his lap, arms folded behind his neck, his arms wound around your waist in full view of your other two partners, Katsuki knelt between Izuku’s knees.
“Selfish brat!” His hand was at the nape of Izuku’s neck, pulling him firmly off the floor to look him in the eye. Izuku failed to focus on him, though, his disoriented gaze cast to the ether.
“Tch. Filthy slut.” Katsuki cursed, “You that cum-drunk? Just from a little face-sitting?” He pulled Izuku closer, and licked a trail across his lips, sampling the slick that coated them before releasing him back into a crumpled heap on the floor.
Izuku giggled unintelligibly, eyes drifting to the ceiling. Katsuki smirked, dick twitching at seeing his boyfriend, all mighty number one in such a state.
One of Shouto’s hands ghosted over your ribcage, softly palming your breast, the glacial touch perking your nipples and raising goosebumps over your chest and arms. His other slid down, avoiding your over-worked clit, instead teasing warm fingers at your slit. The difference in temperature quickly had you dripping again; your head fell back to rest against his shoulder, his lips at the shell of your ear while you both watched, transfixed on the power play between the two men.
“M’gonna fuckin’ obliterate you, Deku..” Katsuki spat through gritted teeth, rubbing the head of his cock up and down Izuku’s entrance, before sheathing himself in a firm, deep stroke. Both men cried out, Katsuki breaking into a sweat at the stimulation on his still sensitive cock.
“Dammn, Sho~ No wonder he almost came, so fucking gooned out...” Katsuki laughed, flush already rising to his cheeks as he gave a few tentative thrusts into Izuku, who panted uselessly beneath him.
“What can I say?” Shouto’s breath tickled your ear, “I’m good with my hands..” As though to emphasize his point, Shouto slid two slender fingers into your dribbling cunt, and curled them against your g-spot, coaxing a broken groan from your rubbed-raw throat.
“You moan so sweetly for me, baby…” His whisper raised the hair on the back of your neck, and you gasped, your hips moving on their own as they rocked against Shouto’s fingers, your pussy aching around them while you watched Katsuki pin Izuku’s hips to the floor, his cock fucking in and out of him.
“Missing something, love?” He smiled against your ear, his cock flexing against your back.
“Uh.. uh-huh…” You moaned.
He chuckled, and you were surprised when he moved his hand from your cunt to hook behind your knee, his other arm wrapped around your waist as he lifted you effortlessly over his cock, teasing you open.
“What do we say?”
“P-please, Sho..”
“Well, since you asked so nicely…” He dropped you down onto his throbbing cock, punching another hoarse moan from your lungs, but remained still.
“Sho..” You whined.
“Promise me something first, Angel..”
“Okay, what? Tell me.” You snapped, grinding your hips desperately to try to get any kind of relief.
His voice was in your ear; “Tell me when you’re about to cum.”
You nodding hastily, not realizing what you’d be agreeing to.
“Good choice…” He held your leg wide with one hand, fretting with your nipple with the other, and started thrusting into you from behind, your pussy choked down on his cock as he toyed with your body, his touch leaping through your nervous system like lightning.
Then the air was filled with the delicious sounds of you and Izuku being fucked. You struggled between closing your eyes to cope with the sensation of Shouto’s hands; each threatened to brand you or freeze you; and fixating on the increasing ferocity of Izuku and Katsuki’s entanglement.
You blinked, and Katsuki had one leg over his shoulder. You blinked again and he had both. Again, and Izuku’s hands were clasped around Katsuki’s neck, toes curling, fat, rolling tears cascading over freckled cheeks as he moaned wordlessly into the space between them, occasionally swallowed up by Katsuki’s lips.
Your cunt grew tight, your breathing ragged as you had fallen into a rhythm, fucking yourself on Shouto’s cock, succumbing to the heat almost scalding your thigh, the chill perforating the skin of your breast, you felt another orgasm rapidly approaching.
You chewed your lip, “Sho- Shouto..”
“Hah~ Yes Angel?”
“Mm- M’gonna- Ah~”
In an instant, Shouto slowed, dropping his arctic touch from your breast to your clit. He did not continue his ministrations, merely held his icy palm over your mound, halting your orgasm in its tracks.
“Shouto!~” You whimpered, one hand coming down to push futilely at his forearm.
“I’m sorry, Angel.. But I think that pleasure has been reserved.” He directed your attention back to Izuku and Katsuki.
“Kacchan!~ Kacchan!~” Katsuki’s familiar nickname fell from Izuku’s lips like a chant, Katsuki’s eyes flashed before throwing one final thrust, and cumming with a grunt, and a sadistic laugh as he stopped moving as well.
Izuku’s head fell back with a sob. If you didn’t know any better, you’d say..
“He hasn’t cum once since we started…” Shouto purred.
And you salivated.
Katsuki unsheathed himself, and stood, stumbling just a little, but strutting over effortlessly once he found his balance.
“I think he’s had enough, don’t you, Sho?”
“Yes, I think they’ve both learned a valuable lesson..” His teeth grazed your ear, showering a fresh wave of goosebumps over you.
“Then I say let them fix each other’s problems.” He waved his hand dismissively.
“And what about me, Tsuki?” Shouto pouted, tightening his arm over your waist, dick flexing inside you making you squirm, still sore from your ruined release; “I haven’t done anything wrong…”
“That so? I seem to remember things differently.”
“Wha-”
Katsuki’s fingers found your chin, and gently brought your face up to meet his, “I think Deku could use little help, Princess.. Think you could fix him for me?”
You nodded hesitantly, Shouto dropping your leg so you could crawl out of his lap and over to Izuku.
“No no..” Katsuki droned, “Stay where you are. I have plans for you, Icy Hot brat..”
You crawled on hands and knees to Izuku’s side, combing your nail through his hair, over his face, catching the few glittering tears that remained over his freckled cheeks with your thumb, before continuing down the column of his neck, flattening your palm against his chest before your tongue spilled from your lips and plunged into his mouth.
Your kiss seemed to bring him back to life, as he inhaled deeply, desperately through his nose, his hands curling themselves in your hair. He chewed your lips, sucked your tongue, maintained as much contact between your mouth and his until you had to pull away, a glistering strand of saliva connecting the two of you.
He was on you in an instant, reversing your positions so you hit the ground flat on your back, his lips on lips, your cheek, your chin, his velvet tongue painting long trails up the column of your neck and down your chest.
You craned your neck to see behind you. Though your perspective had them suspended from the ceiling, you saw Shouto, legs spread, eyes screwed shut as he fucked a rather bored looking Katsuki’s fist. You refocused on the verdette before you, endeavouring to devour you whole, planting your hands on either side of his face to pull him into another impassioned kiss.
Izuku boxed you in, densely muscled biceps on either side, scars laid out over his body like a road map over his heaving chest. He shoved his knee between your legs, and you ground your desperate cunt against his thigh thoughtlessly.
“Such a pretty girl.. So fucking pretty… and she’s all mine…” He babbled over you. He might have tried to tease you more, hold you down, make you beg, but by this point it would have been in vain, the way he was rutting his drooling, inflamed cock against your hip.
He was thick, and stretched you in all the right ways. You felt a wanton twinge in the pit of your stomach.
“Need you so fucking bad, Zuzu…Please..”
He roared into the crook of your neck, closed his teeth around it, surely leaving perforated bruises as a memento. He adjusted his aim, and crashed into you with abandon, chewing the inside of his cheek as your cunt took him so readily.
Your hands circled his neck, finding that familiar crook in his shoulders, your nails cutting stripes into his back, adding your own color to his canvas of scars.
“So good… so fucking good… Sweet Jesus, Izuku!~”
The praise fell on his ears and dropped straight to his cock. He pushed himself off the floor, and fucked you with slow, deep thrusts, watching your tits bound and jiggle with each collision. Your eyes rolled back, catching a short glimpse of a sweat sheened Shouto, tongue tasting his bottom lip, hips thrusting fruitlessly into air as Katsuki held his hand far away from his partner, that same sinister grin perking the corners of his mouth.
Your eyes fluttered closed to the sound of Shouto begging, “Tsuki, please!” before you wound your legs around Izuku’s hips.
“Gonna make me cum like that..” You whimpered into his ear.
He sat up, hands plastering themselves to your hips with brutal force as he pulled you onto him as hard as he pounded into you. The coil in your gut wound tight, the energy in your body reaching a fever pitch.
“God, fuck me like that!~” Your lips found their last mantra, which you cried out until you unravelled into white hot oblivion.
When you opened your eyes, you felt Izuku’s labored breathing against your neck after he caved in on top of you. You carded your fingers through his hair, and fussed idly with the curls as you tried to catch your own breath.
“Here, nerds..” You looked up to see Katsuki extending a water bottle to you while he finished chugging his own with his other hand.
You took it gratefully, nearly choking as you gulped it down while lying prostrate across the floor. Izuku protested your movement, clutching you closer to him while he nuzzled your neck sleepily.
“When you’re ready.. Well…” He glanced over at the man curled against you, “When he’s ready… Food’s done.”
“Oh shit!” You cursed, keeping your tone hushed so as not to startle Izuku, “Katsuki, I’m so sorry…”
He shrugged, “It’s cold soba.. What’s it gonna do, get colder?”
You chuckled, and asked “Where’s Sho?” before straining to look towards the couch to see a particularly contented Todoroki, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket, cold soba in his lap.
You relaxed your neck, and let your own contentment wash over you as you buried your nose into veridian curls, and lost yourself in the scent of citrus and soap.
How’d you ever get so lucky?

You’d been dreading this day for weeks now. Clutching the straps of your backpack, you let out a deep sigh, walking up to the doors of your school. You didn’t like school to begin with, but the building seemed much more intimidating today. Making your way through the halls, you were grateful that you got to school early, you hated pushing through crowds of people.
“Hey, hey (Y/n)!”, a voice called from down the hall. You recognized it almost immediately. “Hi Peter, what’s up?”. You were happy to see him, maybe talking out your nervousness would help. “Oh, you know, just the same old stuff. Sure am tired though”. “Well, if you don’t sleep then you will be tired”. “Like you’re one to talk (Y/l/n)”. You only rolled your eyes and stuck out your tongue at him, evoking a chuckle from him. “How about you? How are you doing?”. “Ugh, not great. I have to present that project today. Not particularly looking forward to it”, you huffed, looking down to the ground as your anxiety increased at the thought of presenting alone. “Hey, I’m sure you’ll do great. Most people don’t pay attention to presentations anyways”, he assured you. You popped your knuckles, still feeling just as nervous. You knew he was right, but that didn’t stop the fear surging through you. “Yeah, I know. I just don’t want to do it. Maybe if I wait long enough, there won’t be any class time left for me to present”, that was your hope, and your only plan to get out of this without panicking in front of the whole class. “Maybe, well regardless, I hope it goes well”, he offered you a sincere smile. “Yeah, I hope so too”. “Well, I should probably head to class, see you at lunch!”. “Right back at ya, Parker”, you waved gently to him as he disappeared down a hallway.
You made your way to your first class, deciding to read a bit before class started. Nothing you did eased the gnawing anxiety in the back of your mind though. Your first two classes were easy enough, but it was hard to focus, your mind racing with intrusive thoughts. ‘What if my voice gives out? What happens if I start crying in front of everyone? God, the whole school will hear about it. Everyone will stare at me, whisper about me every time I pass by them. I can’t do this, I just can’t’. By your third class, you’d bitten your nails down to blood, your lips suffering the same fate, cracked and split open. You almost considered skipping, but you’d worked hard on this project, you couldn’t let that go to waste. So, taking your seat in the back of the class, you tried breathing techniques, anything to help calm your senses. Your leg bounced so much, you swore the floor would give out under your foot.
The teacher turned out the lights, letting people present their projects voluntarily. You calmed the tiniest bit. If someone randomly kept volunteering to present, the class time was sure to run out before you even got the chance to stand up. Throughout the class, you were on edge, chanting silent prayers in your head. You weren’t very fortunate though, as everyone presented quickly, making it apparent that you were going to have to present no matter what. “Alright, who hasn’t gone up yet?”, your teacher called out, looking at her grading sheet. ‘Oh my god, please don’t see my name. Please tell me I don’t exist. Let me just disappear. I can’t do this’. “Oh! (Y/n) still hasn’t presented, come on over and I’ll pull up your project”, your teacher chirped.
Your heart pounded painfully hard in your chest, slowly standing up on jelly legs, keeping your gaze down as you walked to the whiteboard. You couldn’t possibly do this. You were going to die. Every mission you’d ever gone on seemed so miniscule in this moment, as you looked out to your peers. It was too dark to see most of their faces, which only made your situation worse. Your teacher pulled up the project on the projector, gesturing to you to start presenting, as she clicked her pen, ready to write down every mistake you made.
Letting out a jittery breath, you clasped your sweaty hands together and began talking. You were shaking so badly, it was like an earthquake had erupted inside of your body. You could feel the tears threatening to spill past your eyes, leaving a hard pain in your throat. Your chest hurt, and your breathing was becoming more erratic. But you had to finish, you had to get this over with. Just as you were on one of the last slides, a voice called from somewhere in the class, “Hey, pipsqueak! Speak up, would ya? We can’t hear you back here!”. The comment elicited a few snickers, which your teacher hushed quietly, but the damage was already done. The room was suddenly shrinking around you, as your chest tightened even further. You bit your lip, trying your best to compose yourself, attempting to push down your anxiety, but it only pushed back up more violently. “(Y/n)? You still have a few slides left”, your teacher said, but you didn’t hear her. Instead, your fight or flight instincts took over, and you raced out of the classroom, tears now breaking free, streaming down your face. You headed to the nearest bathroom, locking yourself in a stall, your whole world crumbling beneath you.
Leaning against the door, you slid down, breath caught in your throat, fighting to get out, but to no avail. Instinctively, you brought your knees up to your chest, clutching at the seams of your pants, letting out choked sobs and broken coughs. There was only one thing you could think of that might help you, and that was your teammates. You pulled your phone out of your pocket, continuing to shake violently, as you clicked the emergency contacts, thumb pressed to the first person, which just so happened to be Bucky. You lifted the phone to your ear, barely hearing the ring, despite your call volume being all the way up.
Bucky saw your name pop up on his phone, panic surging through him. You never called, it made you too anxious. He answered instantly, “(Y/n)? (Y/n), sweetheart, are you okay?”. His sudden panic mixed with your name caused both Steve and Sam to stand by him, all of them mentally preparing for an emergency. You wanted to reply, but all that came out was a squeak, as your fist collided with the tiled floor, your oxygen levels becoming more scarce by the second. Bucky put his phone on speaker, letting all three of them talk to you. “(Y/n), doll, you gotta breathe okay? Through your nose, count on your fingers”, Bucky stated, trying to keep his voice steady for you. “Yep, deep breaths (Y/n), you’ve got this. You’re gonna be okay”, Steve reassured you. After about 10 minutes of the three of them gently coaxing you out of your panic attack, you calmed slightly, leaving you crying quietly.
“We’re almost back at the compound, we’ll come and pick you up in about 20 minutes, okay?”, Steve said, giving no room for protests, although at this point you weren’t going to object. You wanted to go home. “Okay, I guess I should get back to class then”, you murmured, realizing that you’d probably been gone for over 15 minutes now. It was weird no one came to look for you, but you weren’t complaining. “If you aren’t ready to go back kid, that’s fine. We can stay on the call as long as you need”, Sam mentioned, his voice sounded beyond concerned. You had a bad habit of not taking care of yourself, especially in times of crisis. “No, I’ll be fine, gotta go back to get my stuff anyways”, you were dreading going back. The whole class would be focused on you for sure, not to mention the faux sympathy from your teacher, something that would surely cause another flood of tears. You just wanted to go unnoticed, for everyone to ignore your presence. “Alright, if you’re sure”. “I’m sure, I’ll see you guys soon”, you weren’t sure, but you had to convince them, you knew too well that they’d cause a scene at the school if things got worse. “Okay, stay safe sweetheart, we’ll be there as soon as possible”, Steve stated, before Bucky reluctantly hung up the phone.
Letting out a deep sigh, you pushed yourself up, groaning slightly as you forced your stiff body to move. You stepped out of the stall, silently thanking the universe for not letting anyone walk in during your breakdown. You looked to one of the mirrors, finding a disheveled figure staring back at you. You grabbed a paper towel, dampening it in the sink, and gently washing the dried tears off your face. You fixed your clothing and washed your hands, before making the godawful trip back to class. There was only 5 minutes left for the class, but that was more than enough time for shit to go wrong. You stood outside the door for a minute, taking a moment to compose yourself.
Turning the handle slowly, you eased your way past the door, the lights now on. Just as you expected, all eyes turned on you, but most turned away quickly, looking back to their friend or their phone. That lifted your nervousness a bit, as you started to head back to your desk, but your teacher had other plans, as she cleared her throat, motioning for you to go and talk to her. You cussed quietly to yourself, could this day get any worse? You dragged your feet over to her desk, biting your now scabbed lip. “So, your project was very good, therefore, I’m going to give you a 90, but I have to dock 10 points for your presentation”, she spoke quietly and sternly. Your face grew hot with her words, tears swelling in your eyes again. She was taking points off for something that you couldn’t control? It pissed you off to say the least. You only looked away from her desk, nodding slightly, knowing better than to open your mouth. “Alright then, you can go and pack up your things”. You walked quickly back to your desk, putting the few things you had taken out back into your backpack, before the bell rang for lunch. Dashing out of the class, you headed straight for the front of the school, more than ready for the day to be over. You’d email your 4th period teacher later on what work you missed out on. On your way, you made sure to text Peter, letting him know everything that happened, and that you wouldn’t be there for lunch.
You only had to wait for a few minutes, as Sam walked through the doors, spotting you quickly and walking over to you. “You alright kid?”. “Yeah, I’ll be fine, jus’ want this day to be done already”. He nodded, following you to the front office, signing everything to excuse you for the day. He kept a close eye on you the whole time, a protective hand placed on your shoulder. Stepping out of the building, he led you to the car where Bucky and Steve awaited. You got into the back seat, Sam sitting in the seat next to you.
“Hey doll, you feeling alright?”, Bucky quizzed, angling his body to look at you. “Yeah, ‘m glad you guys offered to pick me up though. Don’t really think I could’ve lasted another class”, you fidgeted with your hands, you knew your nerves wouldn’t calm for a while, but at least it was manageable now. “We’re always here for you, kid, no matter what”, Sam assured you, patting your shoulder softly. “Mhm, you can always come to us, even if we’re on a mission. Our job can always wait, your well being is more important than anything”, Steve added, looking briefly to you in the rearview mirror. “Thank you for that, you guys are the best”, you smiled bashfully. “No need to thank us, jus’ doing what’s right”, Bucky stated. “So, whatcha feel like doing when we get back?”, Sam asked. You thought for a moment, doing anything social sounded horrible at the moment, and the weighted blanket in your room was calling your name. “How ‘bout a pizza and movie night?”, you inquired, knowing they’d all like the idea, hell the whole team would probably join in. “Sounds good to me”, Steve mused, he always liked time for the team to bond. “Me too”. “Me as well, I’m starving dude”, Sam quipped, causing all of you to chuckle.
It didn’t take long to get back to the tower, all of you heading inside, you going to your room to set your stuff down and to change into something more comfy. After changing, you grabbed your weighted blanket, wrapping it around you, heading back down to the common room. Word must’ve spread fast, cause the whole team was gathered there, everyone sitting in a designated spot, except for Tony, who was currently ordering pizza over the phone. “Hey, there they are, rough day at school?”, Natasha asked, giving you a warm smile. “Yeah, not the greatest”, you huffed out a small laugh. “Well, in that case, you get to choose the first movie draga”, Pietro looked up at you from his spot on the floor. You hummed in response, before placing your decision on one of your favorite comfort movies. Clint started to look it up on the various streaming services, finding it almost instantly. “This one, right?”. You nodded happily, making your way over to sit between Steve and Wanda. “Hey, kiddo, you want a drink? And I’m guessing you want some extra garlic breadsticks too, right?”, Tony asked, holding his phone away from his mouth slightly. “Uhh, I’ll have a (f/d), and duh, of course I want garlic breadsticks”. “Yeah, what type of question is that?”, Pietro chimed in. Tony scoffed at him, rolling his eyes, but continued placing the order.
Wanda opened her arms next to you, allowing you to curl into her side as her arms wrapped softly around you. You stretched your legs out, Steve placed them on his lap, gently rubbing his thumb over your calf. Your nerves were finally winding down, as Clint pressed play on the movie. Wanda kept an arm wrapped around your back, her other hand resting gently on the side of your head, making sure to keep you close. The pizza arrived shortly after the movie had started, and you grabbed as much food as you wanted. You deserved it after the day you had. After the first movie finished, and the team voted on a new movie to watch, you felt yourself begin to drift off. You couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting, comfort and warmth surrounding you. You didn’t make it far into the second movie before you fell asleep, listening to the sound of Wanda’s heart beating, the events from earlier that day flooding away, leaving you to sleep peacefully, knowing that you were safe and sound.

Tommy: you have nothing to fear... for now
•••
luckily it had only taken you just over 40 minutes to get ready giving you roughly 20 minutes to prepare for the adventure ahead. or so you thought, as soon as you sat down ready to check your phone the sound of Tommy and tubbo laughing could be heard from your room, jack sent a message “hey we got here extremely early I’m sorry there’s no rush the others have been distracted by dreams music :)”
grabbing a backpack from next to your bed you had quickly chucked your phone and purse into the bag unsure as to what you’re going to need today.
•••
as soon as you opened the door you were met with an ecstatic tubbo who instantly pulled you into a hug unable to contain their excitement of seeing their friend
“I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN AGES YOUVE CHANGED SO MUCH LOOK AT YOUR HAIR”
“I look exactly the same”
“Now I’m no genius y/n but last time we spoke you didn’t have unnatural hair”
you paused for a moment as tubbo had a point the last time you and tubbo were on face time your hair was classed as a natural colour however today as a fuck you to your school which didn’t allow unnatural hair you decided to dye it your favourite colour.
“you raise a fair point now if you don’t mind releasing me from your grasp I have to lock the door so no one gets in”
•••
“Tommy unlock the door let tubbo and y/n in”
“Y/N YOU'RE HERE- HOLY SHIT YOUR HAIR! JACK ARE YOU SEEING THIS”
“Hello to you too Tommy”
“well if we weren’t going to get noticed at the shopping centre earlier y/ns bright fucking hair will definitely cause people to notice us”
“oh I’m sorry I didn’t expect to be going shopping with a bunch of Minecraft streamers today”
“don’t you stream Minecraft?”
“This isn’t about me jack”
the trip to the shops was surprisingly relaxing y/n sat at the front listening to jack sing along to songs playing on the radio, however, it was clear the boys had something they weren’t telling y/n which became evident through Tommy and tubbo bickering in the back of the car about who was going to tell them. it was a relatively short journey due to the fact you lived close to the city centre
•••
“let’s go shopping boys” Tommy practically yelled to everyone, tubbo held his phone in your direction then looked towards you, nodding at him you grabbed his phone and began recording
“I'm vlogging”
Tommy walked over “YEAHHHHH”
walking past cex you had to put up with Tommy making sex jokes until you made it to game, you stood holding back your laugh as you filmed Tommy and tubbo fighting about who’s paying whilst jack went off to buy a Minecraft squishy and mug despite everyone’s arguments against it. soon enough fans came over asking for photos with you all once the group of fans left jack took over recording for tubbo whilst you went off to quickly buy some games that you could play on stream.
•••
“want a wig bro? jack!”
the four of you walked into the shop, you couldn’t help but stand in awe looking at all the bright colours already questioning what colour to dye your hair next the sound of Tommy and jack being amazed pulled you out of your thoughts
“Gogy goggles, I’m actually buying them”
“i wan’t a pair”
“no, you’re getting a wig jack”
“I don’t want a wig I want George”
“y/n has bright hair and they’re not complaining”
“what do you have against people with colourful hair jack hmm?”
•••
“I'm not happy”
“you look lovely jack”
“we’re getting so many looks”
tubbo stopped everyone to ‘fix’ jacks wig which resulted in everyone laughing once you had finally stopped laughing you noticed tubbo had walked off and you were convinced jack had randomly decided to record strangers until you saw tubbo going up and down escalators
“oh there he goes again”
“pov you’re thinking about bees”
“where to next boys?”
Tommy pointed towards the lift
“Is this a lift for us”
Tommy noticed the safety sign and automatically made comments about it
“keeping us all safe is what I would say if I wasn’t carrying a knife”
“oh same Tommy”
“look you can see me”
taking that as an invitation to join the vlog you stood behind tubbo and pointed at the sign again and looked at Tommy and jack
“keeping us all safe is what I would say if we weren’t about to do this-“
the three of you went to jump up and down
“NO”
the four of you quietly left the lift however you were convinced that the public heard Tommy comment on having a knife and you threatening to jump as once the lift opened everyone was staring at you but it could also be due to the fact you had brightly coloured hair and somehow convinced jack to keep the wig on, you all spent a long time trying to convince Tommy to get a new outfit, eventually you went into another shop a certain keyboard caught your eye
“I’ve found my home, ill stay here at the gamer bunker”
you decided now was the perfect time to sneak off to buy the keyboard that had caught your eye, once tubbo noticed it was too late you stood holding the bag with your purchase leaving you stood in the middle of the shop defending your purchase to him claiming that it was a business expense and not just because you thought it looked cool.
“you told me you wanted to save your money”
“it lights up tubbo and it fits the vibe of my room”
Tommy placed his arm on your head treating you as an armrest as you were shorter than him and he knew it annoyed you
“they have a point tubbo it lights up”
once the recording ended you made your way back to the car
“say y/n you wouldn’t mind if me Tommy and jack stayed the night as tomorrow we were thinking-“
“sure thing”
“YESSSSSS”
•••
the next day you were woken up at 9 am by Tommy stood at the foot of your bed
“hi y/n”
“WHAT THE FUCK- oh hi Tommy Jesus christ do you know how horrifying that was to wake up to”
“Sorry bout that but if I didn’t wake you up now you’d only wake up in the afternoon and we need to go soon I’ll leave you to get ready”
you noticed a note was next to a jumper on the floor ‘hi, thanks for letting us stay the night I really liked your hoodie so I decided to wear it today here’s mine in exchange- Tubbo :D’
normally you’d be concerned that someone stole your hoodie as you live with your parents however today was an exception once you were all ready you set off jack pulled into a McDonald's drive-through so you could all get breakfast
“nice hoodie y/n”
“Thanks, someone took mine and decided to make a trade”
“you’re welcome”
the journey was quiet again you sat next to tubbo in the back Tommy sat at the front screaming at jack and trying to distract him and people around you decided to took a picture with tubbo who now had his arm wrapped around you as it was rather cold in the car and posted it to Twitter ‘@ ranboosaysstuff wish you were here :D’ less than a minute later you received 2 notifications ‘ranboosaysstuff replied to your tweet: same’ ‘ ranboosaysstuff has tweeted: *the spongebob gif*’
•••
soon enough you all arrived at mint golf to say you we’re excited would be an understatement
“can I get the shortest club you have”
you stood hiding your face in the jumper tubbo left you whilst you laughed a few minutes later you received a call from ranboo the others said they’d sort everything for you whilst you answered
“what’s up tall one”
“stay safe okay”
“ranboo it’s mini-golf I’m not fighting criminals”
“yes but I know how clumsy you are”
“first of all rude second of all fuck you third of all jealousy isn’t a good look on you” you managed to say through laughter
“jokes aside please come to the UK boo”
“oh sure I’ll go book a plane ticket now” *ranboo ended the call*
ranboo made jokes like that before however this time sounded a lot more serious and you had no idea why he called you so you made a mental note to call him again later. once with friends again you were met with Tommy telling the worker all about you all
“yeah we’re big on the influencing”
“What on earth did I walk in on”
“no time to explain let’s go golf”
you were handed a club and a ball and were dragged away by jack
•••
tubbo joked about getting a hole on one as soon as it was his go, you bet £10 with jack he wouldn't
“hand over the money y/n”
you looked at Tommy who was now recording you handing jack the money “so today we have learnt to not underestimate your friends and that gambling is bad. you lose your money to a tall bald guy”
to put it politely you and Tommy found out that mini golf is not your calling in life
“ill stick to streaming“
“you’re both losing by the way”
“yeah well- why and how does tubbo have soup”
tubbo stood cradling the soup as though it was a child
“Some things I can’t explain to you”
you stood tilting your head to the side questioning where the hell he got soup from
“eh”
“soups like a small child I take care of it as if it was my own”
you couldn’t contain your laughter at this point the confused faces of your friends alongside tubbos happiness of soup sent you over the edge so you decided to just sit down before you fall as your knees were already weak from laughing too much
“where did you get the soup from”
“I manifested it”
•••
after a few solid minutes of arguing over soup you and Tommy dropping the phone you all continued with bowling.
“tubbo get out of the way of my dream ball”
you stood recording jack cheering him on tubbo had different plans and kicked the ball away resulting in jack giving up and copying what you had been doing most of the rounds, after missing the hole 3 times each go, picking up the ball and placing it in the hole however again he missed
“you can’t be serious”
“golf isn’t for everyone big man”
Tommy took the phone from you to record “pov you’re me golfing”
•••
“how do we get across there”
“probably the bridge”
Tommy pulled to rope moving the bridge across the gap
“Why thank you, Tommy, wouldn’t have been able to do it without you”
you laughed
“you're extremely welcome y/n it was extremely easy because I’m a big muscly man”
golf was finally going well till you hit the ball a bit too hard causing it to go over the fence tubbo was able to get the ball back
“I’ve been watching a lot of doctor shows” you stood amazed at how far you made the ball go
“see the issue is its mini golf. if this was regular golf I'd have got a hole in one I'm telling you”
•••
“I'm never being in your vlog again”
jack looked at you and tubbo who was now laughing at you pretending to worship the can of soup in the hole
“Tommy please come back”
the rest of the game was chaos, you kept missing the hole then claiming to rage quit golf tubbo and Tommy kept making jokes jack left his drink somewhere then had to go back and find it, no one had been paying attention to you which allowed you to take the score sheet and make it so you had won the game eventually he game was over you had declared yourself the champion of golf despite the fact everyone was better than you including Tommy
•••
the journey back was chaos you called ranboo who claimed he only called you to plan a video/stream with you however it was clear that wasn’t the reason tubbo whispered to you so no one could hear
“I think he wants to be here with us I think he’s jealous”
you laughed and nodded
“of course”
eventually, you all made it back to yours, ranboo said goodbye to everyone then ended the call now it was time for you to say your goodbyes. since your love language was physical touch you hugged everyone. As you walked into your house Tommy yelled “Y/N HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT PLANES”
