#getting my sleep on

some of us live in areas where people don't care about their neighbors. my neighbor on both sides have dogs and they care nothing at all about the peace and quiet of the rest of the people on the block who don't have all that noise

well I finally realized something today and it is so startling to me that it took me a whole week to realize it.

today I am celebrating because the dog next door who used to make all the noise all the time for no reason is dead

no noise it is peaceful it is quiet I am really able to sleep and I don't hear shit it is the sound of Peace do you want to hear it?

yeahhhhh.. nothing that's exactly right.

they should invent a new type of "staying in bed for 2-3 hours after you wake up repeatedly opening and closing apps on your phone" where it makes you feel awesome and energized and emotionally fulfilled

Also increasingly aware that a LOT of people "manage" getting through the 40+ hour work week by sleeping less than is healthy and relying on stimulants like coffee and energy drinks to keep them going.

For people who are unwilling or unable to do this...work really does just dominate your life. Like we really should not have to rely on unhealthy practices just to have a social life or keep on top of housework or whatever.

I know I post about this a lot but I'm so TIRED all the time and it's just so depressing that this is how we're expected to spend the one life we have.
