Ok so you were born in the American South, what led you to Ireland?

I had no clue you were American either, mind blown, haha

To complicate things further I wasn't actually born in the South I just spent most of my childhood there. I was born in a different part of the US.

My mom was an immigrant so I have Irish nationality.

does the south still have some of the old growth forests?

just for clarity I'm talking about the US south.

There's a little bit, mainly in the Appalachians. Most of the forest cover is new growth after extensive logging in the past but there's quite a lot of trees where I spent my childhood

kinda sucks how I really couldn't wait to get out of the South but there's still something vaguely comforting about it whenever I go back just because I grew up there

1) they have a LOT of commercial breaks
