- Sirius Gibson -

a star(the Sirius star specifically) who lives in the sky, but can leave and visit other places if he wants. It’s also worth noting when he’s in the sky he can see everything. He can also distort gravity a little bit by making him and/or small/light objects float. Because of this he often likes wears very flowy loose light clothing. Edit: Sirius has constellations on his skin

- Claire Elford -

Bird like creature. Claire is a very friendly half bird half humanoid creature who shows Wilardo around after night falls and Sirius has to go back to the sky. Unlike most the creatures there Claire can die however it takes much more to kill her. She also lives much longer than humans to. Her arms and legs are that of a birds. She uses her arms to fly.

- Ashe Bradley -

a shapeshifting water creature (Inspo) he lives in oceans and comes up often to visit the others. He is made of water and the more water he has the bigger he can be. That’s why he’s essentially a giant when he’s in large bodies of water. His form is stable enough to be able to travel on land without consequences. When he’s on land he likes having a much smaller/ more human sided form. If he feels a lot of emotion (Especially negative ones) he can start to melt. He also likes to wear much looser clothing so he can shape-shift more comfortably.(I’m imagining something like a robe) he can also control and manipulate water that he is touching. His hair length constantly changes, most the time it is around floor length.

- Noel Levine -

Biblically accurate angel (reference 1) (reference 2)He lives in the sky and visits often. He wasn’t always like this, he was once human but died a few decades ago and became an angel. He is covered in eyes and wings. He has wings attached to the back of his head and back. He doesn’t actually have any facial features but it’s obscured by the wings, floating eyes, the eye loop things and hair that cover his face.

- Rouge -

a Medusa like creature (Inspo) I like to think she’d be a lot like that. She looks very similar but now her hair has been replaced with snakes. Also her whole turning people to stone think works with eye contact and best on humans. She’s often found in bars and places of the sort wearing a fancy red dress.

- Zizel -

a fairy/pixie. Imagine she as a tiny pixie that’s small enough to fit of peoples hands. She sips from tiny teacups and lives is big teapot. She also speaks with bell like sounds that everyone (except wilardo(and other humans)) can understand. Her and Sirius drink tea together sometimes:))

Witch she look almost exactly like a human except for her point ears and ability to use magic

siren/mermaid. she also looks more fish like there with visible gills, fish ears webbed fingers and various fins across her back and the backs of her forarms.

i just had a goofy headcanon:

marlene taught sirius how to do eyeliner for fun on a girls night (i’m a firm believer than genderfluid sirius was invited to girls night) or potentially even like when they dated (fifth year because marlene didn’t realise they were a lesbian and sirius didn’t realise it was gender envy).

anyway, one day, idk when it fits in my personal timeline, probably end of sixth year/start of seventh year, marlene and sirius have a massive fight because marlene gets annoyed that sirius is getting better at eyeliner than her. it takes intervention from all their friends to get them talking again after like 2 weeks but even then it takes months for them to get back to normal (marlene probably cuts sirius’s hair while they’re sleeping) and sirius ends up giving marlene a stick and poke to resolve the tension.

The sweat dripped down Sirius's back as they curled closer to Remus, mind racing.

It wasn't that it was hot in the small flat they shared with Peter and James- actually, a blanket was draped over Sirius, who was laid across Remus's lap like a needy cat.

No, it was that, though Remus was quite relaxed, holding his book with one hand and carding through Sirius's hair with the other; Sirius was nervous and contemplative, fidgeting with the blanket and opening and closing their mouth over and over again.

"Rem?" Sirius whispered, finally building up the nerve to speak.

"Hmm?" Remus replied, still immersed in his book.

"Y'know...y'know how you're gay?" Sirius asked softly.

"Yes..." Remus responded, closing his book and looking at Sirius curiously, a bit of humor in his eyes. "Are you...are you nervous I'm not? Because we've spent the better part of the past month snogging, Padfoot, I'd hope you believe I like boys."

It was true- Sirius and Remus had finally kissed one drunken night a month ago, after what felt like decades of sexual tension, and since then, Remus had been surprisingly open about coming out to people.

But that was the problem. Remus was very open about liking boys. And Sirius was becoming more and more certain that they were not a boy.

And after so much time pining after their friend, Sirius didn't want to lose him. But they also didn't think they could stay quiet much longer. It wasn't really in their nature to be quiet about anything.

"What if I'm not a boy?" Sirius asked in barely a whisper, burying their head in the blanket.

There was a shocked pause.

Then, long fingers curled over the blanket and pulled it back over Sirius's head.

"Sirius, what do you mean?" Remus asked.

Sirius noted that he didn't look angry or disappointed. Just...curious?

"Sometimes I feel like a boy..." Sirius explained, clearing their throat nervously. "Sometimes I feel more like a girl...or like...neither? Or both?" They ended this explanation in a question. They still weren't exactly sure how to explain it, if they were honest.

Remus nodded, looking thoughtful.

"I...I met this person, at a bar," Sirius said quickly, on a roll now. "They like to be called 'they' and 'them.' And sometimes they wear skirts and makeup and sometimes they wear...I dunno, pants and t-shirts. I was just thinking, that sounds...that sounds perfect, to be honest. Because...I don't always feel like a boy. But if I'm not a boy, where does that put us?" They asked the last question with a tremor in their voice, fighting back tears.

"I guess...I guess that makes me pansexual, then," Remus shrugged calmly.

Sirius gaped at him. He'd said it like it was so simple. "So...so you still like me?"

"Sirius, I've loved you since I first met you. I don't care what pronouns you use or what you wear, or if you're a boy or not. I've already told you, I'm yours," Remus whispered, eyes sincere.

Sirius sighed, sinking back into him. "I don't deserve you," they muttered.

"You deserve the world," Remus murmured back, kissing their head gently.

Note: This is based off of when I told my wife about the fact that I was questioning my gender. In that moment, neither of us had all of the best words to describe being nonbinary/genderfluid and a lesbian/pansexual, so neither do Remus and Sirius. It's a lot more nuanced, obviously. Enjoy!

i think sirius definitely had a persona at school. because, first joining hogwarts, he knew he wasn’t like their parents or anyone from that world but didn’t know who she actually was yet so she just kind of tried to piece together a guy that his classmates would like (softening his posh accent, dressing different, acting cool at the expense of human connection) (… like and worship because sirius is still sirius.) and the persona absolutely hinged on traditional masculinity, but different to the one he’d see at home.

and i think sirius would turn around in circles trying to escape the feelings they had of “not a man rn thanks” like. he has a feeling like that and feels ashamed so rejects it and feels bad about that because the dysphoria is still prominent and then feel even worse because they’re choosing between comfort or her persona, but it isn’t just a persona- it’s something she clings to, to say she isn’t like her family, so he chooses the persona because they feel like they must.

like… that mary shelley quote: "I have love in me the likes of which you can scarcely imagine and rage the likes of which you would not believe. If I cannot satisfy the one, I will indulge the other." it’s soooooo perfect for other aspects of sirius’s personality and i think it still kinda applies here. when she can’t just let herself have this one thing (which is so interesting because sirius will allow themself to take what they don’t even want and be so arrogant and proud but when it’s something he actually desperately wants she freezes) then she feels angry and penned in like her life is a cage and then she lashes out…

like. sirius is like. so clean cut and has perfect hair and is only ever artfully disheveled and knows he’s perfect and loves it and yet deep down he has a primal instinct that he is dirty

and especially coupled with their ongoing gay crisis. because both, whether at school or home, are seen as failures at being a man

(but don’t worry they will turn 17 have a gay turning point -just getting with remus officially-and stop hating themselves so much. because they’ve gone this far who cares if they want to wear a skirt. sirius also doesn’t have like “language” for it but they have the language they want. they say they’re a pretty girl jokingly once and ppl laugh and take no notice because, yeah, it’s a joke but also… why not? but either way sirius just thinks “… huh… good to know…�� bc it’s almost acceptance and they just let themselves do whatever and wear whatever)

My fave thing about the marauders fandom is how big of a fuck you it is to JK Rowling. I'm a jewish trans man and really cannot interact with the original series bc she ruined it for me, but I've been able to find a new love in marauders fanfics :3 Especially with how diverse everyone is, ESPECIALLY all the trans characters (trans regulus and genderfluid Sirius my BELOVEDS!!!!). Just fills my heart with joy honestly. And honestly? The marauders writers have more interesting lore, world building, and character development then anything she's ever written LMAOOO. i love my curated little fandom space, and i love expanding on jkr’s character and defying her narrative and nuclear family ideas while still going off the source material. you can’t problematize or defy the narrative if you don’t use the source material as a baseline. i think it’s a very beautiful what the marauders fandom has become!! especially in my own circles. there are definitely certain aspects of it i avoid lmao (mainly the tik tok marauders fandom & the jkr dick riders)

at the end of the day it’s still all harry potter. i think it’s important to remember that. the marauders fandom isn’t its own thing despite what its become/or the atyd narrative. atyd is still fanfiction based on harry potter etc etc. so i think people should be mindful and aware of that at the end of the day we’re still in the harry potter fandom no matter how much we distance ourselves from jkr and prblematize/expand her narrative and characters !!
