STAYING HIGH MAINTENANCE TO BE LOW MAINTENANCE ;

doing high maintenance things so that u can be low maintenance for the majority of the time is the way to GO. some high maintenance procedures and regimens include...

getting ur lashes done

getting ur eyebrows done

manicures and pedicures

hydrafacials etc

and you can also commit to doing high maintenance things on a more regular basis so that u can maintain urself without too much effort through things like learning how to do and maintain ur own brows, waxing etc.

COLLECT THE BASICS ;

if you invest in supplies to do ur own procedures then you can save a lot of money + you'd be learning a new skill that u can POTENTIALLY monetize off of. its always good to be self sufficient so make sure to invest in things to do ur own beauty procedures. things like...

nail lamp + nail polishes, files, acrylic nails, press ons ETC

facial steamers and other facial tools

but collecting the basics include things like hair rollers, facial masks, things that u can find at target and easily restock if u needed to.

HAIR, SKIN, NAILS ;

i refer to hair skin and nails as the BASE. i think that if u have ur hair skin and nails together then EVERYTHING will look put together so they have top priority. learn ur hair type and how to take care of and style ur hair type properly in order to keep it healthy.

learn ur skin type and how to take care of it properly, i recommend my skincare master post if ur looking for a place to start. and to maintain perfect nails i recommend trimming + shaping weekly and invest in a good nail gel and cuticle oil to keep ur nails on 10.

HOT TIP ; to grow out my nails i like to soak them in a mixture of water, salt and olive oil for 15-20 minutes…💬🎀

INNER GLOW ;

ur health makes a huge difference in the way that u look and feel which is why its important to get adequate sleep, exercise and eat foods that are healthy for you in order to have a balanced diet. make sure that ur drinking enough water and sweating out toxins.

THE NIGHT ROUTINE ;

having a night routine thats high maintenance so that u can be low maintenance in the morning not only saves you so much time, but its a great way to get any beauty regimens done without worrying about being seen cuz ur going to bed anyways.

for my night time beauty routine i like to slug my face in aquaphor (make sure that u test out a small amount if u wanna try and see how ur skin reacts bcuz everyones skin is different) i use this hair device that curls my hair and i always sleep in a bonnet.

i loved the doing carmy’s skincare idea and idk if this is a me thing… but i’m really big on nail care and i love cuticle prep and cutting and filing down my own + other people’s nails. so doing it for carmy is sooooo <333333 like i guess you could call it a love language of mine lol. i can just imagine convincing carmy to let me give him a little clear gel manicure before work bc he’s works with his hands a lot and ofc we want his nails to be healthy!! this is a bit long sorry 🙃

No because at some point during your relationship with Carmy, you have to address his nails.

“Carm. Your nails are horrendous.”

“I work in a kitchen, sweetheart. I wash my hands over twenty times a day.” Carmy can see the cogs turning in your head while you listen to him talk. “I can’t exactly keep up with them.”

“Can I at least put some nail oil on for you. Pretty please?”

“You aren’t going to let me say no, are you?”

From then on you start small with the nail care. First it’s rubbing cuticle oil on his nail beds every night after work. He wont admit it, but he really enjoys the feelings of you practically massaging his fingertips. Soon the routine grows into filing his nails and trimming his cuticles. Eventually you work up the courage to ask about painting his nails.

“Carm, can I paint your nails? Just clear, no colors or anything. I have gel polish and a lamp so it’ll be safe to wear in the kitchen.”

“Sure.”

“Really? I don’t even have to convince you?” You’re shocked he so easily said yes without any pushing.

“I like it when you take care of me like this. It’s nice. You can do whatever you want to, baby.” He smiles at how excited you get, jumping up from the bed to grab your nail polish.

I think at some point he lets you put flakey glitter top coat on his nails without even thinking about what Richie would say about it the next day. He honestly doesn’t care if Richie gives him shit though, because when he looks down at his hands he just thinks of you and smiles.

“Easy does it…” You cooed, pressing your fingers to the side of his neck and kneading the soothing gel into the fraying skin. He winced in response to your movements, face crestfallen and eyes which always harboured his orphic thoughts downcast to his hands - where he fidgeted. You’d take a glance at his face ever so often, the plains which weren’t hidden by his tufts of pale hair slightly flushed by your closeness - the intimacy of your current act. Kindness he had never been shown.

The room was quiet, the dim warmth from the lamp resting on his bedside cast just enough light onto his rigid body to ensure the precision of your application. Your pyjamas would ruffle with the breeze from the window you had cracked open when you first entered his bedroom, where he sat hunched over his desk, fingernails digging rifts into his battlefield of a neck.

Each scar, each piece of skin that had been scratched raw filled you with unease. Unchecked emotions leading to the abuse of the only outlet he had, himself.

Dip. Your nail picked up a new clot of gel, and you adjusted yourself on his bed as you raised your hand upwards once again. He still never met your eyes, yet his previously sporadic fidgeting grew more consistent as his leg began to bounce - his bottom lip receding under his teeth in an anxious means to relieve some of whatever he was feeling.

“Tomura?” You whispered, vocal chords wrapped in every piece of empathy you could harvest from deep within you. He hummed in response, peeling one hand from the other as he ran it along his pulsing knee - breathing growing ragged.

Strangely, during your time in the league you were so accustomed to seeing Shigaraki as your leader. To follow him blindly, trust his wisdom like it was a spoken oath, footsteps moulding into his.

And yet, as you sat before him, knees tucked under yourself and gel slipping down your fingers. You saw for a split second, his truth. He was just a boy. You forgot sometimes, that he was younger than you - only 20 and was already leading the entirety of the anti - hero movement of Japan. A boy who had been wronged by every person in his life, and it made every protective vein inside of you pulse with anguish.

His countenance was marcid, and when your fingers gently traced along the side of his jaw his spine stiffened. The whisper of his name which fell from your lips reverberating around his entire body and rewriting every circuit that had been carefully crafted by those around him, cultivated until he was a prime product of his cruel environment.

“Tomura.” You smiled gently, pulling his face towards you softly. His eyes met yours for the first time since you popped the lid off the gel, and the usual sturdiness of his irises were replaced by unsteady waves of confusion. Confusion to how he felt, and the horrific realisation that he would never feel the same.

Your touch was like nothing he had ever had the pleasure of knowing. No firm pressure was planted, no spiteful words spit from your lips. You just smiled. Rubbing your thumb against the face he never wanted to look at - your eyes telling him everything he pleaded to hear his entire life.

Maybe everything will be okay. Maybe the blow to his well constructed persona has shone light on the true fragmented person beneath it. And it was all thanks to you.

“Can I do the other side, now?”

God, he’d do anything for you.

The Set has way too much tiny clutter items. If I had half a brain, I'd have done what other people do and made clutter "groups" instead of making everything individual.

The set features a "travel" workstation on two variations. The open version is a mini-desk, and is fully functional as one, and is base-game.

The closed version is basically a tall end table. it has six small deco slots on the top, surrounding the handle.

Both versions have 11 swatches. Make sure to have bb.useobjects enabled to access all the slots! :)

A small rolling cart. six slots on each layer. 4 swatches.

An UV curing lamp. This turns on and off, and only glows from the inside. 3 swatches.

An Arched desk lamp. This is so cool - I would have loved one when I was customizing dolls and minitures! Glows only from the bottom and slots onto the desk!

Two neon lights. The pink one is a false light, it kind of has the illusion of glowing, but just looks pretty. The blue one is an obnoxiously bright light, that illuminates everything around it. Looks best outside! ^^ The blue one is free now!

I absolutely LOVE your writing! But i know you want ideas for Simon fluff and lately I’ve been thinking about how Simon would react if I got new nail kit set and I use his hands as practice

He definitely tries to avoid this scenario at all costs. Like literally does not understand why you'd want to do your own nails when he can literally pay for you to get them done at the fancy nail salon in town, the one which provides lemon and cucumber water for all its clients and doesn't charge extra for art or charms because the sets themselves are so extortionate. This is the same Simon who refuses to call someone in to get the boiler fixed because he knows he can do it himself (and with a little help from YouTube)

The thought of you with sharp objects and chemicals also raises concern. He's heard quite enough horror stories from Johnny about binding agents and whatnot. Absolutely zero chance he's letting you experiment with that stuff without the appropriate PPE.

Eventually, he gives a little and reluctantly orders a beginners gel nail set, but the minute the clear gel (which he let you put on ONE finger to make sure it's safe) heat spikes under the nail lamp, he calls time and BEGS for you to just let a professional do it.
