You and Carl had been dating a little over 3 months when you both started feeling more comfortable with each other, playfully shoving, insulting and rough housing with each other.

Before you were dating, you were best friends who always joked like that but with a new relationship, you both wanted to be careful with what you said as a new couple. And that’s when the jokes started. You swear, it never ended, the endless playful teasing.

You could be out on a run and you’d hear him-

“Hey, leprechaun, should we-"

“Goddamit, Carl!” You cut him off and boo him. “That one wasn’t even bad” He defended himself. You snorted and giggled, “You sound like my dad, it was that bad!”

Or you’d be in bed, relaxing with him as he strokes your glowing hair and he’d be talking casually with his sleepy, raspy voice. “I might run out to that comic store we found…has a lot of cool comics, I think you’d like it, lucky charm...”

You groan and turn over and he starts bursting out laughing and saying he's sorry as he’s laughing and you're burying your face into one of his pillows.

It even catches you off guard when he’s kissing you, his hand on the base of your neck and his lip trail a little bit further down your jawline, nipping at it and saying “Fuck, you’re beautiful, red.” and boy, does it turn you red.

Overall though, under all that playful teasing, he fucking adores your hair and will play with it while you lay in his bed together. He'll comment about how beautiful it looks in the sun and how it adds to your glow. And you love that he calls you those teasing names, what would you do without them?

Um. Obviously, Charlie is the most changed from her canon design, I relaly like her hooves and others redesigns of her looking more liek a goat

Originally, I was just gonna add gaot ears and stuff, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea of her having fur soooo tadaaaaa~

I gave her a little red stripe between her eyes and fade on her legs and ears to match Razzle and dazzle, and since lucifer was a high angle a seraphm/archangels hoenstly I dotn see a difference. I gave her some white freckles as well to sorta, show that connection

Also, toe beans! If she has claws, she can have beans, I think that Emily would have a normal human hand while vaggie would have little soft spikes on her like moths do, tho that's not shown

I also drew charlies wings cause it's cnaon she has them, and I wanted to play around with the demon/angle wing/s she could have, my irl friend K helped me decide which one to choose

I also drew her leg so you can see the fade in full. Side note that her belly has the same cherry red fur

I also added some chest fluff because why not?

As for her horns, I kept them the same color but added rings like Lilith has to show a connection between them. She also has her mom's eyes and heart tail point. I wanted her to have some demon stuff out just cause, she is a demon, she should......also realizing just how long I made her tail-

Uhhh, oh, right, side note, which I'll have to make a separate post about, Lucifer/eve/lilith are all dating each other, and Chalrie is all 3s kid. Eve is where she got the goat aspect from, inckuding horn shape, her scaly tail, snake fangs, red cheeks and color scheme over all are from dad, and Lilith is where she got her eyes and horn rings and heart point from, and beans to I guess

Maybe I should make a gene sheet one day; I gave her Jean shorts, like how I usually wear just cause I didn't want to add too much red or black

Vaggie is the least changed. The most I really change about her is how her wings look. Her hand snow has soft spikes like moths do, and her hair

I do think when she fell, she got more demon aspects, but since her wings were torn off, she doesn't have to many physically other than fangs and the spikes

I also made her hair shorter because please, nobody has their hair that long!! or if they do, then I've never seen them!

I know it's a show, but it was driving me crazy! I'm not that skilled at draw front view bodies yet, so if vaggie looks off I'm sorry:(

GAVE HER SHIT WHEN SHE SPOKE HER MIND- THAT YOU ASKED HER TO BY THE WAY! YOU ONLY WANTED HER THERE TO SAY SHIT BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO COVER YOUR SORRY, DEATH-MONGERING ASSES!!!! YA'LL CAN SUCK ON A BAG OF SHAT ON, DISMEMBERED DICKS!!!!!!!!!!! CHOKE ON THEM, CHOKE ON THEM ALLLLLLL!!!!!! I thought I was being funny when I made them out to be slightly villainous in my fanfic, but I just seem to jinx shit when I write apparently.

Yoooo, that "Re-gen from the core" scene was straight fire! I liked how they made it almost look like Kn8 was a ghost coming back from the other side for a second there. Not sure how I feel with them making him glow red at the last second, though.

With the way the last few chapters of the manga have been going, everyone has gotten worried that it's ending soon, but the last sentences that Kn9 said has got me wondering if there are other things that may be occurring later down the line in the manga. I really hope that's the case because we have SOOO many unanswered questions.

it’s been a long time since your best friend and his friends had holidays. they worked so hard for the past few months, they deserved a break, a real break. you’ve always been close to minho, your best friend, you spent years being neighbors and it was just an evidence that you’ll forever be friends.

when he introduced you to his friends, you fastly became part of their team, it was just like that. chris was like a dad for them and now, you were considered as their mom. it was funny tho, you got to see another part of minho and you find it cute. but, for you, the cutest was hyunjin.

oh you had no problem to admit it. at first, you were amazed by his beauty like, how can a man look sooo pretty ?? you were shocked, but you knew he was more than that, more than just a pretty face. the kids, as you call them, call him genius and they’re totally right about that.

he can sing, he can dance, he can rap, he can draw, he can cook, he can paint… he is just perfect to your eyes. but that’s all he is. he is not perfect for you, you just find him perfect. he made it clear that he doesn’t want a relationship, and he doesn’t know you know.

how do you know ? you heard him and the boys talking about this in the backyard when you entered their house. they were waiting for you, chatting while drinking soft drinks, and you heard them from the living room. you never knew how the conversation started, and they never knew you were aware of this. but at least, the good thing is that it helped you moved on quickly from the ideas you were making in your mind.

it’s kinda sad, isn’t it ? but it’s more sad when you have to take care of them daily, to take care of him. especially when he is sick.

oh boy must’ve eat something bad cause he is never sick in the car but today, he chooses to be. his face was pale and you were far away from your destination. you went to some cities to explore them, and you were heading to your next destination but as soon as you entered the car, he didn’t felt well. and you got to take care of him cause you were sitting next to each other in the back of the car.

“hyunjin, do you want some water ?” he nodded, his throat too dry to speak. you took a bottle of water from the plastic bag, opened it and gave it to the blondie boy. he took a few sip before giving it back to you.

“i think we should stop the car, he isn’t feeling well.” chris was driving the car, felix by his side and minho by yours. jisung, seungmin, jeongin and changbin were in the other, driving behind you.

chris pushed the button for the warnings and drove on the side to park the car, jisung following him. they all immediately got out of the car, coming to yours as minho opened the door to get out. you stayed inside, putting a towel on his head, that you soaked in water beforehand.

they were all outside, talking about why they parked on the side of the road, getting worried for hyunjin’s condition. “are you okay, hyune?” you asked carefully, but he didn’t answered. “do you want to eat something or drink ?” he shooked his head to give you an answer.

“should we go back home ?” changbin asked and they all started to think about it. “i don’t think so, the road is long it will be harder for him to go back home.” you stated. “i think we should continue and see if we find a hotel or something like that so he can rest a little.”

they all approved and you got back into the car, taking hyunjin’s hand in yours. “we’ll try to find something where we can rest.” you told him and he pressed your hand gently. “thank you” he whispered.

you pulled out the towel to place your hand on his head, trying to feel the temperature, but he looks fine. you still put back the soaked towel in place before leaving the car carefully. “he doesn’t feel well, but he doesn’t talk so i don’t really know what wrong…” you said, worry.

“does he has fever ?” chris asked. “no, i don’t think so. not now, at least.” you pressed yours lips together, looking at the boys one by one. they were all worrying for their friend, their brother. “we should go back home.” changbin said but you disagree. “the road back home will be too long for him, it will get worse. i think we should continue to find an hotel or something.”

you found an hotel quickly, which was a relief. hyunjin fell asleep so you stayed with him in the car, waiting for the others to come back.

“we only got two rooms for three persons, and there is two rooms for two.” attested jinsung. they started to fight about who’s going to sleep together. “y/n ?” minho turns to you. “mh ?” you got out of your thoughts. “chris is going with felix and seungmin, jisung is going with changbin and jeongin. do you want to sleep alone so i’ll stay with hyunjin ?” you looked at him and then turned to hyunjin. “i think i’ll stay with him, he needs to be taken care of. you guys can go out and do things, it’s your holidays.” “no, we’re not going anywhere without you.” jeongin said and you smiled. “it’s okay guys, go have fun and anything, i’ll stay with him.”

they stayed for a moment, like idiots, standing in front of your door, but they finally left to the grocery store. you waited for hyunjin to wake up, about 15 minutes later, and you walked him to your room. “it looks fine.” you looked around you, the room was clean and smelled good.

he grinned a little, almost falling on the bed. you took off his shoes and his jacket, helping him to go under the blanket. you took another towel, soaked it in water again and put it back on his forehead. he looked up at you with tired eyes and tapped three times on the bed next to him. “c’me here.” he ordered in a soft voice.

you do as he said, sitting next to him. he rolled on his left, placing his head on your thighs, wrapping your legs with arms. you didn’t moved for what looks like eternity, not used to being this close to him. you finally played with his hair, as he fell asleep again.

an hour passed and the boys came back, they knocked at the door and you got out of the bed to open it. “is he okay ?” chris asked immediately before entering first. you nodded, he didn’t throw up or anything, he just looked really tired. “it must be the after effect of work, you guys really worked hard, his body must need some rest. i bet you all need rest.”

they all found their way on the ground to sit down, placing in the middle all the bags with food and drinks. “y/n” hyunjin called you and you went back to his side, going back to the previous position you were in.

the boys looked at you in disbelief, wondering why you guys were that close but you didn’t mind. all you could think about is that hwang hyunjin was sleeping in your arms.

he tried to adjust himself at some point, pulling you closer to him. “you’re such a good friend, y/n.” he said in a murmur, and your heart broke. you swallowed, your throat got dry in a second, trying to fight back the tears from rolling down your face. “the boys brought you some food.” was all you could say.

AH OKAY SOOO- I have quite a few (I’ll tag them all so you can scroll through their tags- despite not having an organized blog I do have it organized for them) BUT I shall focus on Nami, Enzi, Faraja and Viv because. I’m in a mood for my girls rn-/lh

Nami is an only child, spoiled to hell and back by Azul because look at that man. He was made to be a girl dad spoiling them. She can do no wrong to them and they will defend her and her actions until the end of time. BUT she is the more generous kind of spoiled (if she likes you. If she doesn’t then get slapped by octopus tentacle motherfucker-) where she will give you something like that because she’d always just get another one

she’s the only one to have a fully thought out um (because god why do they take so much brainpower to think of)- Sirens Song. If she wills it, she can use her voice as a tool of mass hypnotism. This ability goes as far as her voice does, so as long as you are in earshot of her voice, you are susceptible. (Which sucks for beastmen with good hearing)

in general though she is very close with both of her dads and admires both of them to an absurd degree. She wants to be just like them, if not better. She is ADORED on Azul’s side (because in my lore, octo babies are RARE. You will only ever probably have one, or maybe two if you are insanely lucky. It ties into their magical prowess) but on Jamil’s side it’s basically just Najma and Jaddah, but she barely sees her (in my lore Jamil’s mom isn’t a bad person, she just was stuck in a bad situation and was very mentally unwell. Jamil and Najma were both ripped from her arms right after she gave birth and it messed her up. Jamil let her hold baby Nami and she cried)

(Design wise she pulls from Ariel and Vanessa. And a bit of jasmine)

Enzi is also technically an only child, but it’s only ever been her and ruggie. She was quite literally plucked off of the street and she’s been with him ever since. She grew up side by side with Faraja, constantly having play dates and such. But overall, she just, loves her dad. They’re a lot more like friends then a normal parent kid dynamic because ruggie understands that as she gets older she wants more respect (and hyena gender roles come in a bit). He taught her things from his culture though (HISPANIC RUGGIEEEE-) and she is fully considered apart of their community. Even if she’s a grey hyena in a sea of blonde and brown.

Faraja is… oh god she is my angst baby. I’m so sorry girl- she is an only child as well. I swear I didn’t mean for this to happen- her other parent.. isn’t in the picture. One day she was at Leona’s doorstep with a note saying she was his, and a week later, after the tests went through, she was. Cursed with being a bastard in a royal family (despite how fucking upset about it Leona was and how much he fought her treatment) she was basically ostracized from the rest of the family except for farena’s wife and Cheka. Leona loves her though. She never got a royal budget so he works as a local magical history professor and gives her his budget instead. Her hair is used throughout her storyline to express her feelings and I have a post detailing some of her angst

Vivienne is Not an only child, she has her brother, Emil- and she’s a musician (a la Taylor swift- said somewhat jokingly) but she only started performed when she was 16, because Vil was absolutely not going to have her have the same childhood he did. Instead she was tossed over to rook and taken out hunting. She has a crossbow in her skirt enchanted to compress at all times. She’s close with her little brother (tho he is annoying. Like all siblings) and she’s pretty close with both of her parents. (She also loves her gf Faraja which was a uh. Shock for Vil, at first.)

ALR SO. There's this one theory that I have where the cult is currently trying to get Skiddad back, either from the mannequin or just in general from the death, and although the cult knows that Skid and Pump are like little demons they don't really know that Skid means a lot to Atticus nor that he's ACTUALLY powerful. It's basically "Thank God he's gone we can do our things now"

If Atti is the mannequin, he knows as much as Lila, which was "Oh Skid got kidnapped", if not, he just,,, had no idea. Skiddad as soon as he comes back he asks where tf Skid is and it goes like this

And spoiler: his ass did NOT expected that in the slighest because JJD does NOT actually care for anyone as in bonding sense, so his mind immediately goes to bad stuff. Still, the two are in like, another whole ass city if not country

WHEN THEY COME BACK THO (which isn't really sooo long after Skiddad's comeback, here they took way longer to do so) the cult immediately goes after JJD. Skiddad wanna kill her but the others put some sense into his head fast enough-

Results: killing JJD would just fuck up everything even more, because:

1- Skid now thinks that she's his mom and loves her very deeply, he'd feel a personal hatred towards the cult

2- Skid have NO idea who tf most people in Spooky Town are anymore thanks to JJD aswell including his mom and dad. She basically got him a free lobotomy /hj

So they were basically forced to let JJD keep him FOR NOW, but they made it very clear that if they tried to leave the city they'd have to take Skid by force (she's not really scared, more like "HEY YOU'LL RUIN MY WORK")

And uhh no JJD doesn't love him back or has any emotional connections to him </3 she literally CAN'T /srs

JJD took him for herself because it not only would make her life more exciting but also because the idea of having her unhinged ideas being spread like a tradition sounds "cool as fuck"

And don't even ask about the other scientists, they cut ALL contacts with her, they finally prohibited her to enter the lab (that used to be hers lmao) and if Amanda sees her again she'll genuinely try to kill her; Also, before JJD suddenly disappeared, Jenna managed to finally stand up for herself and basically snapped at JJD yelling how much she despises her and how much she's been ruining her life, which also added on why JJD went for someone else to befriend

First try was Jenna and second one was Skid, she actually gave up on a sibling to go after the other 💔

My very brief thoughts on the books + ranking worst to best

In twelfth is Soulsmith. I know Lindon is a rookie sacred artist, and this is a whole new world for him but this is the only book where I got genuine second hand embarrassment. It was good on the first read but I hate rereading it. Has some really good moments and introduces Eithan and Gesha so I'll cut it some slack. And not only does it introduce Eithan, his moments are also sooo good.

(Although I think Soulsmith is the worst book, I still like it - there is no Cradle book I dislike. And it has the weirdest bloopers out of all of them lmao)

11: Skysworn. Ending felt kind of abrupt. Eithan breaking in with the others was hilarious. And the Eithan vs Longhook fight. Lindon loses an arm (because of Eithan) and then gets called a weapon to his face (also by Eithan). All Cops Are Bastards - also assholes. Mercy's here!

In tenth is Blackflame. I like Blackflame, it just isn't as good as the others. Yerin and Lindon bonding <3 Lindon getting arrested in the last chapter was hilarious

9: Unsouled. People think Unsouled is weak but it's NOT it's really good. Lindon has some really good lines: "I'm listening, not meditating on boyhood trauma." "They say even a dog remembers a beating." Etc.. The disrespect Lindon treats Deret with was CRAZY tho.

Overall, arc 1 is my bottom 4 but that's just because this is Lindon warming up a lil

8 is Uncrowed. I don't like tournaments sorry. All the stuff before the tournament with the training is the only reason it's not bottom four. The whole Lindon v. Pride thing is hilarious though

7: Ghostwater. I know this one is usually ranked higher in the fandom but I actually didn't like it allllll that much. Ziel was introduced! Lindon gets knocked out by fish meat, the cops get dunked on, etc. But eh.

In number six is Underlord! The fucking cannons aiahdosjs. Eithan is soooooo funny in this one ("Don't let it be said I stop my students from making the wrong decisions") I absolutely adored this book!! Charity and Dross were also really funny in this one. "You came looking for me" "If you face Wei Shi Lindon before underlord you will surely die." Ugh, it's so good. Plus Orthos teaching Lindon that it's okay to cry !!

In fifth is Reaper. Lindon sits on a throne!!!!! I really liked the beginning and the Ozriel reveal was really cool. Plus all the Eithan and Lindon bonding!!!!! Lindon breaking a table when he spoke with his dad was insanely funny - guy has anger issues. Also Orthos literally going "who's Lindon" to Redmoon as if it isn't well known that he is Lindon's contract partner was 💀💀

Fourth is Dreadgod. So many heists! Cunty Lindon ("Apologies but this looks like my land")!! Emriss is SUCH an icon. Lindon and Shen's confrontation! Emriss blatantly lying to the other monarchs. LARIAN!!!!! Plus Malice trolling Lindon and Justice wanting to just die because Malice is making him fuck with a really powerful Sage.

Now for the podium:

In third is Waybound. I love action and this one is FULL of fights. The Monarchs being assholes to each other gave me life. Also the Bleeding Pheonix calling Lindon "brother"!!!! Shen getting continually dunked on was so funny and Emriss and Cladia were EPIC! Plus Calling Storm DIES. Also Lindon's reunion with Eithan <3333333 (If you haven't already noticed, they are my fav duo)

Second place is Bloodline. This one is quite unpopular but I ADORE it! Lindon beating the shit out of Daji was GREAT!! Lindon's homecoming (GONE WRONG). ORTHOS AND LINDON REUNITE! KELSA AND LINDON REUNITE. Eithan trolls Jai Long and murders Rahm. There are so many good scenes. And Lindon's "walk"???

And, unsurprisingly, number one is Wintersteel. POINTS. RUBY! Pride and Eithan bet on whether Lindon is going to die 💀💀. Lindon ACCIDENTALLY becomes a Sage. The hunger arm is finally getting put to good use! There's a reason it's a fan fave.

Summary: Laura calls the kids while they are in New York with Clint and Kate. part 1 of 3

“Hey, is everybody having fun?”

“Hi, mom!” Lila circled around Kate Bishop's penthouse with her phone, making Laura dizzy on the facetime call. “We’re having the best time! Look at Kate’s place!”

Clint was in New York helping Kate get ready for her first round of SWORD training and had taken Cooper, Lila, and Nate with him.

“Summer in New York is sooo much better than the winter.”

“What have you been doing? Where are your brothers?”

“They’re right here.” She turned the phone towards Cooper and Nate.

Laura blinked. She thought she was looking at an arcade. The room was huge with various ping pong, fooseball , and pool tables, along with old, upright video games. Cooper was playing online games on a theater size screen and Nate had VR goggles on, punching and kicking the air.

“Hi Mom!” Cooper shouted, not taking his eyes off the screen.

“Hi, sweetie. Hello, Nathan.”

Nate continued playing.

“He can’t hear you.” Lilia swung the phone back around. “Anyway, we swam at Kate’s friend’s house. She has a pool on the roof of her apartment building!”

“Wow, that sounds fun.”

“Way more fun swimming at the Waverly community pool. We also saw Rogers the Musical again and got to meet the entire cast afterwards.” Lila went into the largest bathroom Laura had ever seen and rummaged through some drawers.

“Thought you guys said that play was silly when you saw it at Christmas?”

“Yeah, but we met some of the actors in Central Park a few days ago, it was really cool. The guy that plays dad does not look like him at all.” She laughed and began putting on makeup. “Ms. Nadia gave us box seats.”

“Miss Nadia?”

“She plays Aunt Nat. She's super nice, Mom, and really pretty. She could be Aunt Nat’s twin; they look that much alike.”

“Is that so?”

“Oh, and she taught me some ballet moves to take back to my class. Ms. Nadia says I should take jazz classes if I want to be on Broadway like her.”

“But, I thought you were…”

“She’s an amazing dancer, Mom. Dad said she can do all the moves from Swan Lake, like Aunt Nat. She said she would teach me those too.”

“Is your dad there?”

“No, Kate is with us.”

“Why? Where did he go?”

“He had to help Ms. Nadia get some stuff for her Black Widow costume. Guess what?”

“What?” She asked, not thrilled with this new information.

Why would Clint need to help the Black Widow dancer with her costume? The play had been running for almost a year.

“Kate got us Taylor Swift concert tickets!! A suite by all of the celebrities. And we get to take a huge purple, Hummer limousine. I can’t wait!”

“You guys are supposed to come home tomorrow.”

“Dad said we could stay a few more days to go to the concert and to the Hamptons with Kate and her friends. It's summer vacation, Mom.”

“I know.” Laura tried not to sound too disappointed.

This weekend was her and Clint's wedding anniversary. The children were supposed to go to their cousin's house to spend the night so she and Clint could have a romantic evening.

They hadn't had much alone time. Since his retirement, Clint had been keeping busy fixing up the house and visiting New York every couple of months to help Kate.

“Come on, please.” Lila begged.

“Lila! Where are you?” Clint hollered in the background.

“Daddy’s home!”

“Home?” Laura balked, but Lila ignored her.

“Dad! Talk to Mom. Shes using that voice when she doesn’t like something.”

“Why?” Clint came in and gave Lila a hug.

“I told her about staying a few days and she has that tone, as usual.” Lila handed the phone to him.

He covered the screen with his hand.

"I'll take care of it." Laura heard Clint whisper.

“Hey, hon.” Clint removed his hand and she saw him check on the boys.

“You’re staying longer?”

“Is that a problem?”

“When were you going to tell me?”

“When I got back here. Didn’t know the kids were going to call you.” Clint walked down a long hallway to a massive kitchen.

“I called, she emphasized the 'I', “ because you were supposed to call me at noon.”

“Kate, where’d we put the putty?” Clint hollered to his protege somewhere in the penthouse.

“Clint!” Laura yelled.

“What?”

She blew out a breath loudly.

“It’s only our anniversary this weekend.”

“Oh, yeah. Happy anniversary, babe.”

“No, this weekend…”

“I’ll send you some flowers and New York candy. The kids and I went to Dylan’s and went crazy.”

Kate came into the room.

“Tell Cooper to finish his game, we gotta go.” Clint said.

"Is that Nadia? Tell her our matching shirts for the concert came in"

“No, it’s Laura.”

“Oh, hi, Laura!” Kate stuck her face into frame and waved.

“Hi, Kate.” Laura tried to muster some enthusiasm.

“Cooper, get Nate and let's go!” Kate bounded out.

“Clint.”

“Sorry, sorry.” He finally looked into the phone. “What were you saying?”

“So, when are you coming home?”

“I changed the flights to Monday.”

“That’s almost another week.’

“It’s not like the kids have school.”

“I thought we could spend our anniversary together.”

“Seventeen years, it’s not one of the milestones.”

“That’s rude.”

“I mean,” he rolled his eyes, “our daughter has a once in a lifetime opportunity to see her favorite singer at Madison Square Garden in premium seats. For free. We could not afford to do this for her. Do you really want to make her come home so we can go to Applebee’s?”

“I guess not.”

“She’ll think you’re the best mom for letting her stay.”

“Well, let me talk to her one more time.”

“She’s already out the door with Kate and the boys.”

Laura didn’t hide her annoyance.

“I promise she’ll call you tomorrow. We have to go meet Nat and the others. Have a good time with your girls.” He set the phone down.

“What did you say?”

“Have a good time." He picked it back up but all Laura could see was walls. "I’ll tell the kids you miss them. Bye, hon.”

“Wait…”

He hung up.

Laura stared at her phone for a long moment before flinging it on the bed. She gathered up the little, black nightie she’d bought for this weekend and shoved it back in the bag.

Um, sooo normally I'm not one to send asks, as they make me real nervous. But um, I was wondering a couple of things about your pirate au because it has a choke hold on me.

Say someone wanted to write something for said au, would that be ok? And if so, would..it would be ok if it was done with a twist? As I personally love to try my hand at writing something for it, but I've found..I do better writing like found family stuff. Soo I was wondering if you would be cool with a found family sort of version? I had an idea for one, with pirate boys coming across some siren children in need of help. But I wanted to make sure just writing for your au is something you're ok with in general.

And second, going off the note of the pirate boys, my curiosity needs me to ask. What would the three do if they came across lone Siren children in need of help? Would they even help them? Would they be morally conflicted? Or what have you?

I'm sorry I took forever to get back to you on this ask. I just wanted to think in depth about it. Because GENUINELY IT GAVE ME SO MANY BRAIN WORMS!

So here's what I got~

- mother sirens aren't that maternal unlike mermaids

- pups can usually fend for themselves after a few months and go off to be independent

- a mother siren usually has a pup a year (there's only one mating season every year), but can have twins in rare situations. It dosent go beyond that.

- sirens are solitary unless mated for life

- the pup will live on its own and separate from any siblings (rare situations have been recorded of twins staying together)

- mum and dad will stay together but abandon the kids after a few months

- if a predator approaches and the male can't fight it off the female may get a boost of maternal instincts to defend her young (this only applies if the pups aren't big enough to fend for themselves

- in an unlikely situation both parents die before the pup/s are ready, the pup will usually seek out merfolk.

- merfolk have been known to help raise siren pups untill they can fend for themselves.

- Once again though, they won't stay with the mers as they are solitary and will want to be independent.

- pup hood lasts untill their first birthday.

- sirens grow much faster than mers.

- they are more feral than Mers

- a siren pup is more likely to die after it becomes independent but before it reaches its first birthday.

- it's is unlikely for a pup to surface before it's first birthday. It will typically stay in a coral reef and feed of small fish

- however if chased from its hunting grounds the pup will be forced into deeper water

- the only way I can see the boys helping out a siren pup is if the child is in clear distress. (Caught in a net, injured and circled by predators)

- it would have to be a life or death situation for morality to questioned.

- the boys are extremely passionate towards kids, but like all that sail the sea, not willing to get tangled up with sirens.

- moon is terrified of sirens 

- but in this case. They're likely to help.

- that question of "its just a kid and needs our help"

- it would mostly be sun arguing to help. Eclipse being the middle ground and moon against helping.

- Sun is very persuasive and would get eclipse to agree and basically outnumber moon

- the crew also love kids and would be a lot more willing to help the pup (probably one of them that pointed it out)

- probably put the pup in quarantine.

- Good thing about siren pups tho, is that they can be domesticated and loose their aggression if treated right. (Persistence is key)

The mental image of a tiny baby guppy lives in my head rent free.

The kids first day of school is killing me so much omg! The nervous Dustin and Bug are experiencing is sooo relatable. Mrs. Henderson taking all those pictures is absolutely adorable.

Reposting the Kai lore here just cause I can,, quick info/ other stuffs I forgot to add:

Kai is basically a Coyote fanboy oc that I made back in I think… August??

Yea.

Kai’s name was thought of from the way Coyote’s name was pronounced. The two sound very similar.

His full name is Kai Odie.

Kai was born on the 15th of the 5th. Idk what year tho.

Also some of my ocs timeline and Kai’s timeline aren’t the same,, there’s other timelines out there but they all still have zombies in them.

The timeline takes place before it died took place around the 1990s-2011.

Kai has also somewhat improved as a person,, he’s pretty chill nowadays…I guess. I mean,, less mean that’s for sure.

He beefs with ppl/things a lot tho,, it’s literally ez to get Kai to hate u,, u could be a Taylor Swift fan and he’d hate u for that. 😭

Kai is basically pretty friendly tho,, sure. He murdered a bunch of zombies and possibly people but that was out of self defence. He wouldn’t murder anyone on purpose, unless it’s Midnight Shadow or it’s someone that wants to harm him.

Kai wore glasses when he was a kid due to poor eye sight (not being able to see from distances) until he was a teen,, which he just started wearing contacts (even tho it’s semi dangerous to wear those) …this did somewhat give him the reputation of him being the “smart nerdy” guy but he later proved them wrong.

Kai’s also deaf as well,, he wears a hearing aid although it’s unnoticeable. He got this from putting his headphones on max volume and plus other people playing loud audio/screaming into his ear when he was a kid. O and he knows how to read lips as well and he knows sign language. (He didnt get the hearing aid until he was 17,, his parents thought he was deaf because of the fact he had a hard time hearing them directly unless they yelled sooo yea) Kai also just turned off his hearing aid whenever he didn’t want to hear sum however with the zombie apocalypse he kept that on 24/7 cause he didn’t want to risk not hearing sum and dying from it.

Kai also wears earrings, he used to wear black earrings but now he wears cherry earrings, the only reason why he’s wearing cherry earrings of all things is because of Coyote.

Kai actually also has a tattoo on his back where it’s just Coyote’s name in a rlly rlly fancy goth font. Forgot the name but yea. No one knows about it except for Coyote. They actually got the tattoo together and have matching tattoos.

Kai has average strength, sometimes it works out in his favour, sometimes it does not. Mainly depends on who he’s fighting though.

when Kais Mom first saw that Kai dyed his hair gave himself whatever that pink and blue thingy is called that covers his other eye she tried cutting it off however Kai just kept on refusing to do so, which ended up with him getting grounded and Kai’s Mom kept on trying to convince him to get rid of but no matter what she said he just kept it. Which,, made her rlly mad and her hatred for Kai only grew more and more the more she looked at him. Kai’s Dad however just didn’t care and eventually convinced Kai’s Mom to just let him do whatever he wants since he thought that if he was happy then he’d get better grades (very weird logic god damn) and so she did. But she still secretly hated him. (Kai’s Dad was also old and just simply did not give a fuck about what happened anymore. The Mom was also old but she had more care then the dad did.)

But however there was a deal,, Kai can keep the eye cover thingy if he only put it in a feminine ponytail or pigtail/kept the hair rlly long and he agreed. This deal was made by Kai’s Mom and she did it behind the Dads back.

O yea speaking of that,, during the apocalypse in his timeline, while he was asleep he was attacked by a zombie and he got half of his face infected. He was able to cure it tho. Gud thing it was where the eye cover thingy was so it’s ez to hide.

ok so the only thing that’s different here is that instead of Coyote being the traitor it’s Kai.

The deal in question (and betrayal) basically went like this:

Shadow:

“I’ll get u out of here if u help me make deep night strong and stuff.”

Kai:

“ok 👍”

(Literally after he meets Coyote and the others and night 3)

Kai:

“I change my mind I hate u I hope u die.”

[EXPLODES THE ENTIRE PLACE]

Now,, Kai didn’t intend or plan to explode the place on purpose. He wanted to keep the cabin in shape however with the way Midnight Shadow planned it all out he had no choice, he had to explode the place with what he had on him to try to kill Midnight Shadow.

When Murch found out that Kai betrayed him he basically just started hating on Kai and being a big meanie to him and Coyote had to go and defend him every time but that only just made Murch hate the both of them. Except,, not only is it hatred from the betrayal. It’s jealousy.

He secretly wants Coyote, but with Kai being there for Coyote more then he himself is. He grew jealous of him.

So yea.
