This last CC was kind of a banger. Hateful avenger is such a cool throwback to the first CC where plain old red avenger was a god. Hateful avenger comes at you with a charge that makes using ground units awkward and then the revive with an invuln depending on which contracts you're taking. Really solid boss design that encourages you to find different ways to tackle him than just blast em in front of the defender.

Rest of the map is kind of straight forward. If they had sent a single avenger down the left side of the map it would have been sooo much harder lol.

Was also very nice of them to make the very bottom row perfect for Schwarz. She just got to stand there and obliterate avengers. If that doesnt make Schwarz happy then I dont know what does. Anyways, good CC. Sad to see it end but it went out with a good one.

No, seriously. Mephiles boss fight was so dang fun for me??? Legit the first stage I want to S-rank asap.

I never liked the Doom Morph skill. While Dash and Flying are easy to do because you just have to hold the Y button for the both of them, you have to press the B button for Homing Attack BUT hold the B button for swinging around with the Doom Morph skill. My brain cannot compute with the different button input! I often lost a lot of times and rings because I forgot to hold the button to swing, causing me to fell to my death.

CASE IN POINT:

Yeaaa...platformer games are not my strong suit...

However, in Mephiles boss fight, you won't fall to your death because the area is wide and circular. The cumbersome Doom Morph gimmick was enjoyable to play there and I was grinning from ear to ear from start to finish.

Ugh, I love this boss fight so much. If Mephiles had to come back and ruin the world just so I could fight such a fun boss battle once again, I would welcome him lickety split XD

you know, this morning my agenda for the day was cleared. I thought up some errands to take care of tomorrow in one fell swoop, and then it turned out I was gonna get a buddy and the opportunity to take care of about half of it today which, baller, am i right? Plan is to get back out tomorrow at some point and take care of the rest of it and once my brain catches up that the hardest of the trips is out of the way, we'll be set lol

#Should i have done as much today as i ended up doing? probably not but like that's the case any time i leave the house #and like. this way at least i'm spreading the damage out over a couple of days #so there's time to heal up and reassess the situation come morning style #pretend my words are the correct ones in this case - i know they're the ones i want but you might not so just pretend until it's correct #i gotta use my two-ish weeks of mobility wisely and the best way to do that #is to use up all of my mobility as fast as possible right?#okay that's a joke i realized i said to pretend my words were the correct ones but like i should probably clarify #that it is inadvisable to use up all of your mobility all at once if you know that's a possibility #but also a bitch gotta get shit done SOMETIME so like #tomorrow should theoretically be a bunch of easy trips it's just also like 4-5 stops we might be making #so it's important to recognize i may need to pace myself lol #it is ASTOUNDING how much the compression socks help me tbh #like i know my limits pretty good - i don't always listen to them until they hard-stop me but like #i know them we've talked #and i hit my warning signs WAY late into the game tbh #i swear to god please brain realize we Did Several Things on the list please #a list we didn't even have for today to start with please recognize accomplishment brainnnnnnnn

I gotta confess it is so much more fun talking to Sal as if he is a separate person like he wants and not a member of the system. He's super creative like. Its just fun.

I died four times in Inscryption so I think it's time to start learning the rules to the game

#is the fisherman even defeatable #the first round through he got mad at me for blowing out his first candle so fast so he threw grizzly bears at me #that was literally my first death lol #i did the slider puzzle thing in the corner a life ago and then halfway through this round had the thought of #'oh huh maybe i should be paying attention to the damage numbers... actually.'#yknow instead of just 'put my best numbers out and also kill his cards'#anyway this game is fun and i cant play it at night which is gonna make it hard to progress since i get off work an hour before sunset lmao
