A non-comprehensive list of favorite songs that came out in 2024
Elbow, "Things I've Been Telling Myself For Years" [YOUTUBE] alt-rock Haven't been super thrilled by the past 2 or 3 Elbow albums but they're back in fine form with Audio Vertigo. Swinging for the bleachers, getting a little weird with it again, thank god. This one's got my favorite verses on the album: I'm the dashboard hula girl of nodding self-deception Here's to never accepting slight adjustment or correction... Of course I'll live to ninety-six and fix the welfare state I'll build a house with these two hands, my face above the gate I haven't paid for cabs or beers or met a cunt in twenty years Like all that outrun poverty, all I have was coming to me Things I've been telling myself for years
TWRP, "Content 4 U" [YOUTUBE] pop Highly danceable, highly relatable. First heard this on the Digital Nightmare tour this spring. After shaking my ass and giggling into the April night air, the lyrics sink in and I'm doing that dead eyed Lisa Simpson stare at the pavement because yeah that's. That's trying to live from any creative hustle in this bitch of a 21st century. Excellent work, boys, I hate it. I love it.
St. Vincent, "Big Time Nothing" [YOUTUBE] alt-pop What's the big deal this is just "Numb" over the bass line from "Army of Me" with a little Laurie Anderson and Talking Heads thrown in and wait hold up this rules
Oranssi Pazuzu, "Muuntautuja" [YOUTUBE] (link fixed!) prog/psych/black metal Goes hard and slow. A pulsating, hypnotic onslaught of black smoke and sandpaper. The whole album's incredible but this is probably my favorite track.
Kendrick Lamar, "Euphoria" [YOUTUBE] hip hop I mean, it's Kendrick Lamar. Dude's a fuckin Godzilla across the musical landscape. "Not Like Us" was the splashier hit of the summer, but this is the one that stayed with me. (Listening again while writing this and. Jesus, It's... it's 6 solid minutes of sticking your hand right on a hot burner.)
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, "Antarctica" [YOUTUBE] southern rock A fun (ironically) warm summer jam that fuckin blew the doors off live. Easily my fave from their most recent album.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, "Wild God" [YOUTUBE] alt-rock/symphonic Really sneaks up on you, like a mumbly guy in the coffee shop. What's he writing? "Moving through your body like a prehistoric bird?" Huh, Looks intriguiOH HOLY SHIT HE HAS A CHORUS WITH HIM.
John Grant, "All That School for Nothing" [YOUTUBE] alt-pop/funk John Grant's got this particular nasty (complimentary) streak, a deep-seated gay cynicism that reminds me of Hidden Cameras at their best, but with more lush and varied instrumentals. His lyrics are always tops, and this one's no exception. The whole album, The Art of the Lie, is great, with "Marbles" being another delight.
Ninja Sex Party, "Let's Save The Earth" [YOUTUBE] comedy pop Feels silly to put this one in alongside the rest, but... I mean it's NSP. They do goofs, not a poetic dissection of the zeitgeist. I actually heard this one on tour in Fall 2022 and it brought the house down--I might actually prefer it live with audience participation TBH. This has become me and Brett's karaoke go-to.
A.G. Cook, "Soulbreaker" [YOUTUBE] electronic Deceptively simple chord progression becomes healing, memorable. The animated video for this is essential viewing, IMO. Wild art style and cool concept. This song makes me feel like things might turn out okay.
Elbow, "Balu" [YOUTUBE] alt-rock Probably my most played track of the entire year. Apparently this is a semi-fictional tribute to a beloved cousin or nephew? Once again back with the incredible lyrics. Probably my favorite line of the entire year: I'll never be home without you, but I'll never grow in your shadow. Anyway that bass/keyboard line is sending me to the center of the galaxy

Thinking bout dragon writing and end up publishing basically the story of him and crocodile with different names and premise under pseudonym
It’s a thrilling sci-fi about a solider and a runaway falling in love as they try to take down the galaxy’s false emperor.
Delta - a defective solider from the empires army, trying to find justice
Cole - a runaway, with expensive cybernetic enhancements and a dislike for small talk
Years later crocodile stumbles across it in Mihawk’s book collection
It’s a love letter. A very, very elaborate love letter. He started writing it when Crocodile left and Luffy had been given over to Garp. The man had a family shaped hole in his heart, and he had to put it encoded on a page to cope. One page turned into many, and he thought maybe if he published it, it might reach Crocodile someday.
Years later, nearly twenty, he gets a call.
“Cole, eh?”

AITA for training a child to defeat my political enemy through unconventional warfare?
I (M3900) am a renowned solider in an army that dedicates itself to defeating the agents of our political enemy, a powerful god-like entity that has violated many basic rights of the galaxy's inhabitants, utilizing illegal tactics such as monster trafficking, amongst others. Unfortunately, we ran into a major issue when all of our bases were destroyed in a massacre against our forces, killing most of our soldiers and dispersing our leaders.
For the next few hundreds years, I was in exile on a small, mostly rural planet near the edges of the galaxy, lying low with my closest subordinates, until this aforementioned child (?100) suddenly arrived near the town I'd been staying in. Upon its appearance, the threats to our area from the enemy increased substantially, but the child proved itself to be exceptionally good at deterring and even killing them by the bucketful.
Upon noticing its untapped potential, I took it upon myself to train it in more advanced forms of combat, encouraged it to pursue a career in monster-fighting, and even assisted it in reaching the enemy's headquarters and shooting down starships that were threatening its direct safety. Ultimately, we managed to execute him and bring what little remained of the army back together, which I consider to be beneficial for the galaxy's security.
However, it has been called to my attention that this could easily be interpreted as illegal and possibly immoral use of a child soldier, with my methods, such as using unrestrained strength and real blades while training, being "unsafe". However, any wounds I may have inflicted on it were not permanently harmful, and this undoubtedly helped the child grow its strength.
Am I the arsehole for using a child in combat?

Introducing...NISMO*ੈ✩‧₊˚
Tumblr media
Prior GSA member, she is an archer powerhouse. Using arrowheads made from her unusual and ever-growing crystal horns, she can scope out hundreds of enemies from Nightmare Enterprises. Frequently sent to work with one of the GSA's top solider, Sir Metaknight. 🦇⚔️🫐
Tumblr media
Though despite the sad appearance her masks downturned shape may portray, she is heeps more cheery then the blue knight. Often going as far to tease him, but always brightening his mood (even through his denial)
Tumblr media
After the GSA decided to disband, she continued wearing her star badge. Through this, she managed to navigate her way through off-handed conversations and small mentions straight back to MK, and to the beautiful Dreamland. Where she meets the King's hoard of waddle dees. The GSA had plenty of trained waddle dees working to maintain and protect large bases, all in which she held high respects, but none were quite like the largely spoken about and highly regarded Bandana Dee. Whom she made very quick friends with, even going as far to use scrap Iggy Woods wood and her crystals to make him a custom spear. (A cherished gift)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Avid pop flower enjoyer<3
(More rapid details in the reblog!!)
Born of the same wish powered stardust akin to those of the puffball species. Nismo's manifestation came through at times of war. Though her tampering wasn't quite as cruel as some others, several forces stole the wishes of the pure hearts to get their slimy hands on creature so full of energy. Nightmare Enterprises was the usual culprit of this experimentation, but Nismo was stolen by someone else. Remnants of the ancients, a group split from the magic users. They wanted a super weapon, they wanted someone who could attest the Heros of Yore. Someone who this time wouldn't rogue off and need sealed away. Such things can not just be made however. Knowing the magic of the fabled Star Rod, they attempted to replicate its extraordinary capabilities. A powerful organic creature merged with their ancient magic. The experiments failed however. They couldn't enhance her performance to make her strong enough. Couldn't speed up the aging evolutionary process enough to sprout wings. Just large clunky crystal formations where horns were meant to grow, although formed through similar materials as the star rod, they weren't as powerful. They had failed again. And just like that they were on to the next. Thrown out into the cold of Shiver Star, she was raised by local scavengers already immune to the cold. She learned to adapt. Learned to hunt and gather any food that still grew through the frozen climate, learned of a passion for cooking, began carving scrapes into fresh spears. Occasionally the child-like whimsy would break through. Small wooden trinkets were gifted as often as she could carve them. It was here she learned of the greater battle with Nightmare through the wide spread call for arms of the Galaxy Solider Army. Bidding farewell to the only place she had called home, she set out on a grander journey. It was her time in the GSA she had discovered the functionality of her crystal horns. Sir Dragato studied magic prior to his recruitment. And with Lady Garlude's mild background in geology as well, together they were able to preform testing to the crystal material. They learned it could be diamond cut and regrown. And that it made for a very strong weapon. While it did not pose for its original intent to mimic the Star Rod, it proved useful in other ways. Already versed in carving techniques, Nismo quickly learned she could make spear and arrows heads, daggers and other small blades. Through strict training in the GSA camps, she fine tuned her archer ability and was the slickest shot in her ranks. Firing crystal tipped arrows straight through the heart of His monsters. Here she was partnered with Sir Metaknight, who, though bits and peices, shared his own childhood stories, that seems to match up with her own in some places. Together, slaying the monsters who terrorized hundreds of innocent planets. She was so determined to end Nightmares sinister plans to take over the galaxy. But sheer determination was not enough. Their ranks dwindled. Eventually Sir Arthur decided it was best to preserve those who remained to train a new generation of star warriors. He disbanded the GSA. She spent years traveling the stars, accepting vigilante style jobs to help keep the streets clean of Nightmare's trash. Planet hopping. Once in a purple moon, she'd be aligned to return to shiver star, sharing as much resources as she could spare with the people who cared for her through most desperate times. She'd tell stories of her travels. Ensure they would remain safe. Then be back in her starship roaming the galaxy. Soon enough, huge news spread far and wide that Nightmare had been defeated, by a child no less. Chosen to wield *the* Star Rod. Nismo was overjoyed, tears poured heavy in the light they had finally won. And something else came up through more sparsely shared details of the battle, a previously acclaimed star warrior had accompanied this young Kirby. Sir Metaknight. With Nightmare defeated and a reunion underway, things were finally starting to look up. Back to her starship, with a new destination set this time.
Dreamland of planet Popstar
Cheers if you read any of that lol. That's just a glazed over summary of her character I think. Perhaps in the future I could do actual scenic writing peices with her.

Oh. My. God.
Hugh... Hugh, you are awesome...
I was watching an interview they made with Hugh, Cassie and Graham where they asked Hugh "Does music play a part in you developing your characters?"
He answered that it was a conversation that he and Cassie had actually had, because they'd both made a bit of a playlist for theirs, and he'd been listening to Jobriath to help get himself in the mood.
And when he said that, I went "Wait, hold on..." because I remembered there was another interview - where they'd asked him if the actors had any say when it came to choosing the wig their character would wear - where Hugh mentioned that yeah, they did, and that he'd wanted his looks to be a bit inspired by '70s Glam Rock...
Guys...
Jobriath was the 1st openly gay Glam Rock artist, whose career suffered a major backlash from homophobic audiences (from what I understand, the way his publicist chose to exploit his sexuality as a marketing tool didn't help), that sadly died of AIDS back in 1983 (at age 36).
He played in the musical "Hair", and here is how he looked back then...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But the picture that fucking killed me, however, is this one...
Tumblr media
Because, I mean...
Tumblr media
Another interesting fact: His birth name was actually Bruce Wayne Campbell.
He changed it to Jobriath Salisbury after deserting from the US Army.
They eventually did find him and arrest him, though, and he spent about 6 months in a military psychiatric hospital after suffering a breakdown.
Just thinking about poor Radovid attempting to run away from the Redanian court, only to be pulled right back in, and definitely looking right in the verge of a breakdown here...
Tumblr media
(I'm hoping Radovid's story get a happier ending than what happened to Jobriath IRL, though...)
One of his songs is actually called "Take Me I'm Yours"...
And it's totally worth a listen!
youtube
Baby, you just amaze me and daze me
You're the blind spot in my consciousness
C'mon and forsake me and break me
And drink the blood of my obsessiveness
Make me cry out and die out
Of love for this world's fallacy
Refuse me diffuse me
To the corners of the galaxy
Take me I'm yours
Take me take me I'm yours
Take me I'm yours
Take me I'm yours
I can't say if this particular song was a part of Hugh's playlist when developing the character, but...
Tumblr media
... suddenly feels like an even more inspired line to me.
There are other songs and lyrics from Jobriath that do give me some solid Radskier feels...
Ex:
I've always wanted a movie queen
To call my very own
That bright and shining star
I've worshipped from afar
Came to earth to be with me tonight
I've always wanted a superstar
To cherish as my own
But so high in the sky
I never dared to try
To take the steps that I can take with you tonight
So basically, Hugh Skinner was offered to play a gay Prince/King on a major fantasy show...
And apparently, thought that he'd take the opportunity to draw inspiration from, and subtly pay homage to, a near-forgotten gay cultural icon.
And it's perfect!

using commander fox vs captain rex or arc trooper fives as either ends of a spectrum of
What happens to soldiers in the system they serve
Where - Arc Trooper Fives is the “leftist?” He was an immensely gifted soldier. A genius. A free thinking, talented leader whose valuable independence lead him to the truth that very, very few others in the entire galaxy ever knew. He discovered the terrible truth about the system he thought he served in, about who he thought he was and he, as a true arc trooper should, jumped into action to make it right. to find justice for the sake of all innocent life in the galaxy. because that is what the republic he served was truly supposed to be. He died for the truth. He died for justice. He was right and he died for it.
Where - Captain Rex is the “loyal just left of center?” He believes in the tenant’s of the system he serves. He’s an absolutely brilliant and steadfast leader. Men who outrank him value his insight and his skill above many others in the galaxy. He was a pillar of the grand army of the republic. He was everything a solider and a captain should be. He was loyal to his core. And yet …the deeper he got, the more hard learned truths he discovered, the harder and harder it was to maintain the loyal image he wanted to be. The system was set up to fail. It was set up to fail him. It was set up to fail the tenants of justice he propped up and held so dear. He survives by breaking from the system he swore to protect. It was the only way. He continued to move left and to rebel to hopefully bring back the justice and republic he fought for. The one the innocent people of the galaxy, including himself and his brothers, deserved.
And finally
Where - Commander Fox is the “right?” kinda ? He wholeheartedly believed in the system he served. And unfortunately blindly followed it, even if it harmed him. He didn’t want to believe that what he was created for wasn’t the justice he was told he was enacting. That he was being used. As long as he was loyal, as long as he did what his leaders told him then he was fulfilling his duty. But he obeyed too much. He, unknowingly did the bidding of an evil dictator because he did not seek to question his orders. Until it was too late. Until he was forced to forsake his brothers, his republic and everything he ever held dear. His loyal to a fault leadership wound up hurting him in the end and his fate was the same as all his brothers - a means to an end of violence, ultimate control and obsolescence no human being deserves.
Fives was willing to put his own life at risk to expose the truth to save the galaxy. He died for the right thing to do.
Rex gave up the only life he knew, a leader in the republic army, to carry out the tenants of justice against the will of the very system he was once vital to. He learned his lessons the hard way but ultimately rebelled and fought for the right thing to do.
And poor Fox, and most clones, stayed loyal to the fallen republic, albeit mostly against their will at first, meeting the ultimate bitter end of being decommissioned and cast aside despite all they fought so hard to uphold and with nothing to show for it, if they even survived at all.
They are each very real reflections of how soldiers are treated. Each with their own difficult paths and issues to overcome.
I’m mostly interested in a Commander Fox who learns the hardest way of all. I want to see the Commander Fox who realizes nearly too late that serving under Palpatine, in the Empire, isn’t what he wants. And even though he suffered, even though it’s so so hard, even though he’s been through unimaginable pain and likely committed even worse, his perseverance and commitment to justice and survival of his brothers would be far more inspiring to read and see develop than any other headcanon there could be.

my magnum opus: metalocalypse x transformers crossover
aka the most metal death metal band in the galaxy
Tumblr media
separate designs + a bit of lore under cut
it's geared more towards metalocalypse fans, but if you haven't watched the show or don't feel like reading just enjoy the designs :)
it would be weird if they still had human names so 60% of my creativity went into making up new ones
au is based on idw 2005 comics, i'll put the canon lore into square brackets
[short history summary:
cybertron was ruled by functionists. they believed you must live according to your vehicle mode. so if you're a cement mixer, you will mix the damn cement until the end of time or else
eventually, a miner-turned-gladiator megatron said: "guys this is bullshit, everyone should have equal opportunities in life". a lot of people shared his opinion, so he gathered an army, named them decepticons, assassinated the government and the civil war broke out. it lasted four million years, a whole bunch of war crimes was committed on both sides. also megatron stopped giving a shit about equality and turned into a tyrant but that's irrelevant
post-war cybertron population was like.. 100 times smaller and had a hard time adapting to civilian life. maybe death metal wouldn't fix them but it would sure be cathartic]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
SCRAGMUG, being a humble cement mixer, really vibed with megatrons ideas about equality and emancipation and all that. in reality decepticons assigned him on construction work again, with the only difference that he could get caught in artillery fire now. he compensates with making up heroic stories about losing his arm every chance he gets
war was kind of a social lift for DETONATE: he went from odd security guard jobs to elite decepticon storm troop. while he never cared about ideology, end of war still leaves him confused on what to do with his life now. therapy is for pussies, so he pours his ptsd into gory poetry on his secret datapad
he met scragmug once in a prison cell before the war, they both got into a mass brawl. the cement mixer talked his audial off while detonate stoically listened. decepticons soon opened the prison gates and scragmug left thinking they are besties for life (he didn't even get yelled at!)
Tumblr media
DOUBLEKICK is from junkion, a literal garbage-dump of a planet where all fauna will try to eat you! its culture is 15% scavenging, 15% cannibalism and 70% earth tv. he had a pretty good relationship with his twin triplesnap, until this rat accidentally burned down an important storage building and blamed it on his bro
conveniently, decepticons were recruiting junkions at the time, so doublekick escaped the ostracism by enlisting as a mechanic. he became fast friends with scragmug and after the war they went to cybertron together, where he set up a workshop.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[short digression on spark bonds since this pair of fruits has one:
sparks are transformers' souls and hearts simultaneously, extuinguished spark = death. it's located in a spark chamber in the middle of a chest and powers the body.
there are two kinds of spark bonds: conjux endura and amica endura. first is similar to spouses, second - to best friends. to become amicas, you must perform a ritual: bare your spark to your friend, invite them to share your light and tell them how much you appreciate them :]
the guitarists are from camian, cybertron's long-lost distant colony, so the war didn't touch them at all. luckily for them, camian places a lot of value into art and culture. unluckily, it is also required to find an amica in 10 megacycles (about 93 hours!!) or face ostracisation. it's a religious thing
WINTERSUN has a total of three interests in life: flying fast, playing guitar fast, and fragging. social stigma would significantly limit the pool of sexual partners, so he chose his amica based on guitar skill. turned out this doesn't make a solid foundation for a healthy relationship. after a particularly nasty fight wintersun compulsively left for cybertron
SCRAPFANG has always dreamed of flying, he used mountains as springboards so he could get into the air for a few seconds. with this comes fangirling about planes, so he was ecstatic when a magnificent white jet became his amica, and making music together was amazing! he's determined to find wintersun, apologise and fix everything
... ok i also have a 1000 word google doc on how they all got together but no one will read that shit so i'm planning to illustrate some highlights from it. and design charles and maybe some other characters too. follow me for more robot art
+ bonus height chart, they're big boys!

TITAN Theory
I have a little theory that’s been swimming around my mind for the past few years, and I just remembered it now that I’ve been re-reading Ava’s Demon for the millionth time. I haven’t been able to get onto Michelle’s streams, and I dunno if anyone else has had this thought, but hear me out-
We don’t know much about TITAN; just that he’s some all-powerful entity with almost total control over the cosmos (a God in his own right, if you will). We’ve come to learn through Odin about the Gods and Goddesses that appear across the cosmos, fighting in the names of their creators. It’s clearly shown in the below panel that Wrathia, Pedri, Nevy and Tuls are considered to be Gods or Goddesses.
Tumblr media
So where does TITAN fit in all of this? If he’s so powerful, then it could be presumed he was a God all along, born from the violence of the four creators. But way back in the beginning, when Wrathia is explaining her story to Ava, we learn of TITAN taking her galaxies by force and holding them hostage overnight, which is unusual in itself.
Tumblr media
The part that sticks out to me is that Wrathia refers to TITAN as a ‘creature’, referring to him as ‘it’; therefore, it can be inferred that Wrathia had no idea who TITAN was, and was alarmed at the speed in which he had infiltrated and taken over the galaxies she has reign over. Just think about it, that’s galaxies, not just planets, that TITAN had taken from her. That requires a lot of power and strength, regardless of an army (though that is a large factor). So where did all this power come from?
We are aware that TITAN is very very good at manipulating his audience, utilising tactics of fear-mongering and propaganda (alongside brainwashing and indoctrination into his ‘religion’) in order to gain a loyal following from members across the cosmos. That can put some explanation into how he had such a massive army of Followers to back him up in this. And we haven’t even gotten into how the Silent Scavengers (who have clearly been around for a while) assist with keeping this social and political power in TITAN’s hands.
I have a theory, however, about how TITAN came to be, and why he’s so powerful. And it’s regarding something mentioned by Wrathia...
Tumblr media
A failure of a pact results in souls and bodies merging into one. Of course, Wrathia makes it sound like it’s this horrible ending, as I’m sure it is in her mind; if they fail, then Wrathia will never be able to rule over the cosmos or indulge in her vanity ever again. But we haven’t seen an example of a failed pact just yet. I know one of the most common thoughts was that Maggie was going to result in a failed pact, and we’d see whatever she turns into later in the story. But I believe we already have seen a failed pact.
Tumblr media
This is what is shown to us when Wrathia explains to Ava that her half of the pact is complete; the yellow side, Ava’s half of the pact, is solid and shining bright, emphasising that her end of the deal has been met (despite her protests). The cracked side is Wrathia’s half, not yet fulfilled since TITAN has yet to be decimated from existence. So, from here we can infer that a failed pact would have two halves of a broken heart, right?
Tumblr media
Looking closely at the page on the righthand side, that looks awfully like TITAN, doesn’t it? And the heart above his body has two cracked halves, as if it were a failed pact. What if TITAN himself is a creature resulted of a failed pact? It would explain his sudden appearance, his vast amounts of power, and the lack of knowledge surrounding his existence except to the Followers, who are deeply integrated in his ‘teachings’. What if failing a pact isn’t as terrible as Wrathia makes it out to be?
I know it can also be inferred that it is Ava’s key (I mean, it really does look like it so I might be reaching with this theory here) and the page is imagining the death of TITAN at the hands of Ava/Wrathia.
Listen I could be totally off the mark here, but I feel like it would be pretty cool if TITAN actually was the result of a failed pact and is actually a monster born from the failure to meet both ends of the deal made between two creatures.
What do you guys think?

What happens to these Npcs?
I decided to have a little fun and decided what happens to these Npcs in my Legacy.
Part One:
Tumblr media
Harkun- He was left alive by Vis'hnuario, but when the Eternal Empire invaded Koriban he died during the battle.
Tumblr media
Kory- She escaped Korriban with the help of Vis'hnuario and later on they both found out that they're cousins. Kory after traveling alone for a year ran into two Jedi Knights named Kailani and Kira, she offered her skills in healing to join the crew and they accept. ( Kory replaces Doc in Lani's crew and Rusk isn't a part of it ether. )
Soon she went her separate way from the crew, after Kailani's disappearance and met a Republic Solider Felix Issreo. After spending years traveling together they developed a romantic relationship.
Together they joined the Alliance and helped defeat the Empire. After the war has ended Kory and Felix went to a peaceful planet to start a family.
Tumblr media
Nalen- He was taken in by the Jedi to train to be part of the order, as Naiari suggested. After years of training, he soon joined Azilax's ( my Jedi OC's) crew. They soon became lovers months later.
Both Azilax and Nalen worked together to survive during TEE invasion. They soon joined the Alliance and once Arcann was defeated they went back to the Republic.
Tumblr media
Somminick Timmns- He managed to escape and survived the Eternal Empire's invasion of the Galaxy. Timmns soon joined the Alliance and was thrilled to find Luminara has survived.
He decided to permanently joined the Alliance and became one of the first members of the force army.

I don’t really know how to say this: How does the world react to your relationship with the Ro’s? Are Demi Gods treated like celebrities, and now so does the Ro? The Queen is obviously going to be treated differently than the others. I’m guessing the human Demi God isn’t going to be universally beloved.
Demigods are kind of seen as celebrities by Aquarii and Chronos. Demigods are seen as protectors and prophets. Most join the army or the JAA, or they decide to make their own path to further Mitan and Virrian civilizations in their own ways. Even those who hate the gods tend to like the demigods.
As for your other question…
By the time it gets to the point where MC is locking into a romance route and the public is becoming aware of MC’s and their chosen RO’s relationship, they’ll have a much more solid opinion of MC, this can lean towards a positive or negative opinion based on MC’s choices.
For Liviana, the public will always be hesitant about Liviana dating MC regardless of their collective opinion simply because of how much will change and how much work both MC and Liviana will have to put it to make sure this bond is successful. Not only is MC human, which means that now they will not only be the first human to step foot on Aquarii, but they’ll also be the first human to rule Aquarii, they also don’t come from royalty. Liviana doesn’t come from royalty either, but all that means is that Mitans have already taken the risk of putting a civilian into royalty before, and they might not want to risk it again. There’s just… a lot MC has to work through. All the RO’s routes are stressful, but Liviana’s is definitely one of the more stressful ones. She’s tied with Vega, lol.
As for Amare… He comes from a very influential family, so there will definitely be an uproar, but it’s not the public MC really has to worry about in Amare’s route. 🙃 Take that as you will.
Estelle’s relationship with MC as the highest member of the JAA will definitely have mixed opinions, but by the time Estelle and MC’s relationship is revealed, Estelle would have already worked through all of her own issues with being in a relationship with MC, so she won’t care. Estelle does have an influence over Aquarii, but not enough of one where her relationship with MC will really affect the galaxy or the public.
I actually cannot answer for Ellery or Vega due to spoilers. 😅 Which sucks, I know, but I’ll try to summarize.
Nobody really cares about MC and Ellery’s relationship because they care more about something else that happens in Ellery’s route. Unless MC’s relationship with the public is positive, then they will discourage the relationship, but Ellery is not the one they’re asking to break it off.
Same with Ellery, depends on MC’s relationship with the public. Though, if MC has a negative reputation, Vega’s route is mostly the both of them being casted out of society. 🙃 Power couple over here.

HELLO CAN U PLEASE TELL ME A BIT MORE ABT THE DIFFERENT PLANETS' CIVILIZATIONS AND RULERS I WANNA KNOW NOW
I DIDNT SEE THIS OMG
the most developed i have is saturn. i don’t know a lot about earth history so bear with me but i kind of based it off of the tudors, for the longest time it was a monarchy ruling saturn, up til queen liza II, she was awesome, and was seemingly the only sane one in the family at the time, who would have her marry her uncle.
she grew very ill and knew that when she died the throne would go to her nasty little brother who would for sure mess up.
so on her deathbed she was as tradition granted one final decree that would pass after her death, so she decided that her dear friend the duchess be given rule over the planet, and as they had no choice she and her line became the rulers (this was highly irregular and i’m not sure it makes sense but i’ve decided everyone else in her family and the royal courts was too stupid to think of a way to avoid this so yeah)
so that brings us to present day when the duke rules the planet. he is very good friends with the general on neptune (they fought together when they were young in the wars on neptune) neptune is mainly uninhabited except for military bases and prisons.
the war happened when folks from mars wanted to build a city but the army on saturn wanted a place to train and test weapons and saturn has the superior firepower so saturn won.
there has been tension since then between the solid planets of mars and venus (venus has very few people living on it due to harsh conditions and is largely unexplored so far)
Mars is generally the base, where the Alliance of Uzark is based (Uzark was the first martian to perform the calculations necessary, and then sail all the way to saturn solo and make the first contact with the colony on saturn without being executed)
earth has remained largely the same, with primitive life forms and a severely deteriorating planet growing hotter and hotter. the council on mars generally had a grudge against earth at the way the population treats their home, and avoided making contact, but focusing on finding ways to safely settle on venus and jupiter, jupiter especially as its the largest planet and the storm has been growing much larger over the years, and it has many moons with different properties, some with conditions safe for life
the planets without a surface were settled on by way of building colossal pillars up from the core that hold the cities up in artificial atmospheres. this was done by the strange beings that seemed to have evolved naturally on saturn before deserting the city and leaving the galaxy (or so they think) for unknown reasons
a lot of this is very unfinished but i’ve thought about it a lot. now much of it is physically impossible and/or scientifically preposterous and to that i say: nuh uh. it’s my fantasy story and if it gets hugely popular someday i’ll let the nerds find an explanation for it and if not i’ll leave it as is cause its fun to make up things 👍

Hi! I was wondering if I could ask for a Class of the Titans Pirate AU? Thank you!! :))
Of course you can get this, anon dear! Thank you so much for the request and I hope you'll enjoy the headcanons, late as they are!
Okay, so I had a lot of conflicting ideas for this one. There was so much temptation to take it into traditional pirate territory, adventures on the high sea, Pirates of the Caribbean and One Piece inspiration, peg legs, etc. And I did have a lot of ideas of what I could do with that one.
But hear me out, guys…SPACE PIRATES! I've been a fan of Firefly, of Treasure Planet, and things along those lines for so very, very long, and in the end I thought that was a more fitting and fun Pirate! AU, plus kind of a fun twist on it.
So, we're setting this in a place far into the future. Space travel, between multiple planets and even between different galaxies, is not only a reality but quite commonplace. The world we're stepping into is also so much more technologically advanced. Oh, and Cronus? In this AU, he's this huge power. An alien lifeform that seems to possess immortality, Cronus has established a dictatorship after a war in which he took over multiple planets. With an army on his side, still waging a campaign to extend his reign of power, his government is ruthless and brutal. He and his army rule with an iron fist, with the people subjugated but with little opportunity to do much more than survive, and with no power to rise up against him. Besides, any uprising against him (and there was one, a major one) was quashed and struck down hard.
That uprising that was quashed. A lot of the major players were either killed or they scattered, fled and hid out in the furthest reaches of space. Seven of them in particular, the main source of the uprising and the real face of the attempted revolution, good people who fought hard to end Cronus' dictatorship, who helped people wherever and in whatever ways they could while fighting him and recruiting, were given extremely public executions, broadcast to all the planets and all the galaxies. It was a clear message - 'there is no possibility of escape. There is no possibility of resistance. Submit or die.'
Cronus' only real regret from that? The crew's ship, the Argonaut, could never be tracked down and destroyed along with its crew.
And maybe it's good that it couldn't be. Because fourteen years later, Amalthea, who was the wife of Jason, Captain of the original crew of the Argonaut, sent her now teenaged son on a dangerous mission, to the deepest reaches of their planet, through nasty and treacherous territory, to the location of the Argonaut.
Jay, Jason and Amalthea's son, finds the Argonaut. It's not in great condition, barely functioning at first, but he finds it. And once he boards it, he tries powering it on. But it doesn't really work…not until he gets frustrated at his lack of success and, when slamming his hand against a wall, ends up cutting himself, deeply enough to make him bleed.
See, The Argonaut is a ship, yes, a mechnical and technological thing…but it's also a sentient being and, upon Jay's blood being spilled on it, it reawakened as it was programmed to do. At first, I had thought of the idea of a holographic video popping up, but after thinking some more on it, I developed the idea a bit more…it's more a video that plays inside of Jay's head. It's his father talking to him. The crew had known they weren't going to survive, that they were boxed in and would be captured…and each did their part before they were, preparing their families, hiding the Argonaut and doing these videos. Jay's father tells him everything, from fatherly, personal, and sentimental stuff down to the solid facts and the plan - recruit the children of the passed crew members. Each of them has a role to play. Complete the reawakening of the Argonaut and follow the plan; battle Cronus and his army, small at first. Gather your forces and find allies. Then bring the uprising again…there's a plan that, for some reason, Jason and his crew are sure will work. Not for them though but for their children. Cronus will fall; the uprising will conquer.
And so Jay follows the plan. Dedicates himself to honouring his father and the fallen members of the crew and to bringing peace back to the various planets. And I will tell you, as with the video that plays in Jay's head, as each new crew member comes on, as their blood (just the tiniest bit) helps rewaken the sentient being part of the Argonaut, they each get their own video, which nobody but them can see, playing in their head, with messages from their own parent who passed. And Jay himself, while unsure how well he could do as Captain, proves himself to be a natural leader and gains the trust of not only his crew, but the many allies they make along the way.
The first member that Jason recruits is Atlanta. He finds her on a planet, thick in forests and dangerous wildlife. She joins his crew readily - she loves nature, her planet, her father, stepmother, and step-siblings, but she's always yearned for adventure. And hearing her mother's will and words…how could she refuse? Atlanta follows in her mother's footsteps, becoming the crew's tracker and bounty hunter, a role she grows into with a great deal of ease and quickness.
The next companion to be gathered? Herry was left in the care of his grandmother, as both of his parents were part of the crew. He doesn't really even remember them, to be honest, and the memories he has of them are hazy. Herry is part of an alien race known for their giant, beefy bodies, superhuman strength and berserker rages…however, Herry honestly seems to be a gentle giant, for all accounts and purposes. It's only at his grandmother's urging that he follows Jay and Atlanta to the Argonaut, where he gets to really see and have a solid memory with his parents through their holographic video. He won't discuss everything they said but, through his tears, he willingly and happily joined the crew and the cause and, though he's still gentle overall, if his crew are in danger or if he must fight to fulfill the crew's destiny to overthrow Cronus and his forces, Herry can and will enter that berserker rage his race is known for and can slaughter entire battlefields of enemies single-handly.
The crew finds Theresa next, in a surprising place. Her father, who had taken residence on his wife's planet, as she was the planet's princess and future ruler and he her consort, abandoned that planet when his wife died. He blamed the crew harshly and not only moved to a planet and grew his own influence, but became high level in Cronus' army. Theresa is spoiled, far safer and wealthier and better off than 99% of the population on any planet Cronus had conquered. And it's not that she hates it, but her father is gone so much, she's raised by servants, and to be honest, she's rebellious and bored. While the crew taking her is technically a 'kidnapping', she honestly kind of helps them kidnap her, even if she doesn't really show it. She becomes the ship's navigator and one part of a tactician duo, due to her excellent sense of direction, knowledge of various mapping techniques and the layout of several galaxies, and knowledge of how Cronus' army and infrastructure works.
That second half of the tactician duo? It's found in Archie. Archie is a child prodigy, and he's one of the few, thanks to the way his brain works, to really remember much about his lost parent. His father, Achilles, had actually raised his son aboard the Argonaut. He had had little choice, honestly, what with Archie's mother dying in childbirth. He'd raised his son with a love of the history of the cosmos, cut his teeth on bed-time stories of tactics, war, and battle wisdom. Had encouraged a love of learning, of literature, of facts and knowledge. And when Archie was left abandoned on the doorsteps of a university on one of the more obscure planets, his love of learning served him well. He becomes the crew's main tactician, the man who not only knows most of the facts, but isn't too bad in a physical fight either, thanks to some bad childhood bullying that forced him to toughen up and learn to fight for himself.
Another genius the crew gains? Odie, son of Odysseus, the man responsible for the mechanical ship that houses the sentient being that is the Argonaut. He build it from scratch, knew it better than anyone else and his son seems to have inherited that trait. Odie joined the crew mostly due to his extreme interest in the Argonaut and, like his father before him, he seems to almost bond with the ship. He can fix anything to do with the ship, improve it, add to it as his brain is always coming up with ways to make the Argonaut better, to not only fortify it but make it more comfortable. He's a mechanical wizard…but even more so, he's the one to pilot the ship and honestly, he has a bond with the Argonaut itself that none of the others do and the ship would not sail as gracefully and faithfully as it does without him.
Not going to lie, unlike Theresa, where her kidnapping was really helped along by her, the last member of the crew was just plain out kidnapped. Neil is the prince of his father's planet, a spoiled brat who only thinks of himself and has the highest opinion of himself. The inhabitants of his planet are expected to worship him and exalt him and he's a dictator in his own right. None of the crew understand why it's so important that they find him and none of them really want him as part of their crew at first. Until they find out that Neil was, as all members of the royal family are, blessed with God's own luck and the ability to vaguely warp reality to favour them. He does it without even realizing he's doing it either, making him rather a genius at the technique. Though things are rocky with Neil at first, and it takes him the longest before he sees his father's video, once he does, things kind of change. He stays with the crew willingly for one, and though his kind of spoiled attitude never fully changes, the longer he serves on the crew and becomes a part of them, the more adventures they embark on and the more of the cosmos he sees, the more he starts to not only genuinely care about his crew-mates, but about all life in the universe. Not as much as he cares about himself, but he definitely starts to really hate Cronus for what he's done to people and the more he genuinely wants to help bring peace to people.
And the story is really just the adventures of the crew, various bits and bobs of them not only having amazing battle scenes but also helping people out as they go along, discovering the beauty in the vast expanses of space, but also the horrors that Cronus has truly brought about, and their efforts to gain allies and lead that uprising to the successful completion their parents could not.
