Who am i crossovering it with? CARMEN SANDIEGO

This probably only centers around Ryuuichi and Kotaro (maybe Kamitani and Taka as well.) an AU where Roundabout took the Kashima Siblings as his own and raised them. He's still Julia's dad so guess who's having a sister!!

You may be asking, Bee, Ryuuichi wouldn't steal, he's too soft!

Dead parents, who both loved traveling more than the kids, an uncle who refused to take them in (Haruhi and the Kashimas are still cousins, they just don't know that), left in a shabby orphanage where most people there prefer to adopts younger kids, and it was always Kotaro or Ryuuichi, never both. Surely that'll fuel his evil side, no?

Im thinking of him being a VILE nurse, who takes care of the operatives and is also a backup operative. I think he'd also be under the wings of The Cleaners.

In here Ryuuichi is 14 and Kotaro is 1 year old. So the story goes that Roundy wanted another children (also because Julia wants as well.) and he goes to an orphanage. On the way, he encountered a boy who was stealing food. It's Ryuuichi. Scolding him and such, Ryuuichi broke down crying because the orphanage wanted to separate him and his brother so they ran away from the orphanage to an abandoned building. Father instincts kicking in, he decided maybe he should adopt him and his brother instead, poor child, and infant for godsakes.

Uhmm just gonna summarize, Nigel got him into VILE, and become a nurse/part of the cleaners and sometimes he steals for vile.

General ideas:

Noah knows/learns spanish. Bonus points if Alejandro isn't aware until the perfect moment.

Alejandro thinks he can get away with flirting with Noah in spanish. Noah starts shit talking in spanish. Noah learns so he can hear all the little comments Alejandro keeps making under his breath. etc. so many possibilities.

Now that the show is over and Noah's off to college, he realizes he’s missing something in his life. Maybe it’s his friends, maybe it’s a lack of ever-looming danger, OR maybe it’s Alejandro. Who fucking knows. He’s too busy trying not to be in love with Alejandro to figure it out. 

Their group project is failing, horribly. There’s one thing Noah knows for certain: Alejandro's to blame. At what point does slippery eel turn into a term of endearment?

They have never ever fallen asleep next to each other. Let alone in each other's arms. Never.

Time loop where Alejandro is stuck on the episode where Noah gets voted out and sticks himself to falling in love because he can’t let go of his pride long enough to simply let Noah stay in the game and move on.

Noah loses his contacts and starts wearing his glasses more often. Alejandro notices. Everyone notices Alejandro notices.

Alejandro and Noah team up to get their friends together (insert whatever ship you like) and end up together in the process/the other two were trying to do the same thing for them.

A commentary timeline on how Alejandro's charisma turn into exploitation, how Noah's patience turned into indifference, and how they parallel each other. (I've written a few hundred words for this one lol.)

Each thinks the other doesn't like them. Cut to third party POV that watches and witnesses them completely a mess for each other.

Noah, once voted out in I See London, learns about Alejandro's family. Who have been very vocal since the show started airing.

Exploration of how Alejandro tries really really hard. Yes, He's at the top of the class, but so is Noah. Noah who sleeps through classes and doesn't turn in homework and shows up late or simply not at all and is still right up there with him.

“I would kill to be like you. To just absorb all the information fed to me. If I were you I might actually- “(beat my brother) “Might actually what?” “I told you. I don’t want to talk about it, Noah.” - "Do you know how long I studied for that test? Hours. And you- You got a 96 with no effort at all." It was a 98. But this seems like a bad time to correct him.

Maka Supplementals

Hey welcome to my "Maka Supplementals" post aka when you become so obsessed with an anime character, you start to treat any other character that looks like them as that character. I've been in this fandom and ancient amount of time and for some reason, I'll just notice a very Maka like quality in them.

Neiro from Kaiba

I'm probably ruining myself by starting with the best. Kaiba (2008) is really a series you can easily project not just Maka AND Soul but the rest main cast onto. I stg I thought Bstar and Popo had the same VA (they definitely have the same god complex). Naturally the pigtails and droopy eyes were a huge connector and the orange/green color scheme is frequently used to represent our fav duo. As for the story, it's mostly around Kaiba and Neiro being just out of reach of each other and a new technology that allows people to store and transfer memories to new bodies. Neiro also makes a good Kaiba type as a stern person in the present but soft and kind in the past/later on. She also has family trauma which may be a theme. On its own it's a masterpiece but I actually made my first SE friend in part due to us both separately coming into SExKaiba au art.

Mikan from Gakuen Alice

I only ever read the series but I figured anime art would pop more. Mikan, the mc, our classic lightish hair color in pigtails and you could possibly call her eyes droopy shaped. Tbh I can hardly remember this series since it's been 11+ years since I last read it but I do remember Mikan having mother issues. If I remember right it's a magic academy shoujo and I probably wouldn't have included it but I wanted to show off that cute angel outfit she's wearing.

Shizuku from Tonari no Kaibutsu

When I watched this series in 2014, this was the first time I said "Oh, this character is just Maka" and thus this list was born. Did you ever want to experience Maka in a Shoujo where her love interest looks like DtK but acts like Bstar? Here you are, the most frustrating romance ever. Shizuku Mizutani is a pretty perfect Maka type, she's quiet, serious, extremely studious, and constantly annoyed by everyone else's shenanigans. One day she's sent to deliver socially maladjusted Haru Yoshida his homework and naturally a classic nightmare romance starts. I'm not kidding when I say every episode one of the two confesses to the other who then turns them down. Honestly, that's the plot. The first confession is right at the end of episode one and it doesn't stop. Can't lie though, I love high school tropes and aesthetics so it's a fun way to reimagine the crew's life going.

Kirin from Gakuen Babysitters

Absolute baby. If you want to imagine was toddler Maka was like then Kirin is pretty good for that. She's not really a main focus of the story but Gakuen Babysitters is still surprisingly good. Kirin really feels like the tiny Maka we saw in Chrona's soul, very outgoing and friendly to those who aren't as confident. She often fights with a Black Star like nursery mate and has an aggressively doting dad that aligns perfectly with Spirit. One small story arc with her is wanting to be a witch. Not really a lot of anything but a cute detail to point out.

Marnie from Pokemon

She has pigtails and 2011 me drew Maka in the exact same outfit. Ngl, this is a real head empty one but I'm still not over that happening.

Nino from Fukumenki Noise

Sorry this is actually just another kind of annoying shoujo. Outside of the hair, Nino is pretty much nothing like Maka. Unlike most series where the story is a string of misunderstandings, Nino's naivety is often a major problem where she cheerily sings over listening to her best friend/crush's home problems and doesn't reflect on the ways her actions could be affecting others. So why is she on here? The music segments. There's this raw and unpolished nature to the singing that really just brings something special to it. Honestly just watch the singing proportions, ignore the bad cgi (in 2017 no less) and pretend its Maka "I don't get music" Albarn singing it.

Sana from Kodomo no Omocha

Probably the only series I've watched before Soul Eater on this list. I recently rewatched and kept feeling weird about the Maka vibes I was getting off of it. Sana does start the series pretty annoyed her schooling is being interrupted and her middle school uniform looks like the Sparoi uniform but her more core characteristics is being a child star and is extremely hyperactive because of it. So what was it? She's voiced by Laura Bailey. It's very interesting to hear her distinctive wobble in Sana's voice. Of course that isn't all, Sana has family issues and her genki personality is related to people pleasing so it's interesting to see when that facade drops. While the manga leaves a stronger impression, the end of 17- start of 18 has a few particularly beautifully scenes of animation.

Also something I want to point out is Sana's amazing wardrobe. Despite being 90s, the bright colors work great for Y2K looks that feel right for Mala's style sense. I wish I could use more than 10 photos to show them off. The anime uses a lot of long sleeves and skirts and the manga has some more trendy fashions like the fur trim cardigans that are popular right now so I'd look there for some outfit Y2K revival references.

Something that's been spiralling in my mind and it's

Right! But in here, Hayaryuu are Leslie's parents.

(Author's Notes: heads up that I have only read MDCP up to chapter 59, and I only watch GBS anime and read a few of the manga panels, and some of the royal titles might be incorrect so forgive me!)

I'm gonna twist the character profiles a bit here. Also an obvious note everyone here is aged up by 10 years.

Hayato here is the so called "monster duchess (duke)", so his title is "His Grace Duke Hayato Kamitani." But! He is something similar like Leslie, as he is the Dark Mage who wields dark powers to do justice, similar like duke Callen/Kallen from "How to be the dark hero's daughter." His personality is mostly still the same as he is in the original media.

Taka's is similar like Hayato, so his title is "Lord Taka Kamitani". And he also has the dark magic power! Only, he still needs to control it well.

Ryuuichi and Kotaro are princes here! Yup, i don't know why but I like making the Kashimas royalties. He's the adopted grandson of Empress Youko Morinomiya. Ryu and Kotaro's parent's were Marquess and Marchioness, before the accident happened. Their official titles are "His Royal Highness Crown Prince Ryuuichi Kashima" and "His Royal Highness Grand Prince Kotaro Kashima".

Also! Ryuuichi and Kotaro both have the power of luck manipulation! Meaning they can make people or themselves have goodluck or badluck. Ryuuichi has perfected his power while Kotaro is still learning.

Plot changes! (A bit)

Leslie goes to Duke Hayato instead, and offers her contract to be useful (as she is the black saint), Hayato showing that he's something like of herself, showing his dark magic. The black saint and the dark mage moment together, him letting her know that she's not alone.

Her name is "Leslie Shuuya Kashima", I decided to keep her middle name because I thought it'd be nice.

I wanted to make the GB gang older, but I think I like exploring this dynamic of young parents trying to parent for the first time.

Kotaro and Taka is Leslie's uncle 💀, very funny because they're only like what? 3-5ish months older than her? They keep forgetting that they're uncles and niece, not brothers and sisters. (Although they have that dynamic.)

Another crossover tidbit; I already stated that I headcanon Haruhi Fujioka as Ryuuichi's cousin, so I'll add her too in this universe.

Haruhi Fujioka is one of the most prestigious lawyers and magician in the empire (same empire name? Probably. Maybe). Leslie is her niece and she is SIGHTED!

Tamaki Suoh is Leslie's uncle, and also her principle, lol. I headcanon her going to the Ouran Academy and then once in a gathering she saw her principle and be like "Mr. Suoh??? What are you doing here?" And he's like "uhhh I'm your uncle, darling!" And then kinda. Be in a state of shock.

The rest of the plot goes roughly the same except with these characters. This has been my latest hyperfixation brainrot WOOH

i think a gakuen babysitters esque genshin au would be so cute like w the archon as the babysitters ig lol but i’m specifically thinking of this because imagine toddler kaeya falling in love at first sight with new kid albedo and albedo doesn’t have an umbrella on the way home so kaeya shares his froggo umbrella w albedo on the way home and he’s all adorable and excited and albedo is just such a soft and cute kid (koutaro vibes) but then cut to diluc crying at school because kaeya took their only umbrella and forgot abt his brother because he was so distracted by the new boy HAHAHA
