The very first sketch actually very much inspired my fanfic And today, my brain decided it was a good time to turn it into a cute little comic Despite the fact that my astigmatism started acting up when I woke up I am definitely not going to regret that decision Hey, at least I made a wholesome little comic with future Leo and present Leo Yes this is supposed to be immediately after the invasion

Ahhh! My first two commissions done by the incredibly talented; but also amazing artist that I respect and platonically love @cupcakeslushie

Tadahh! First commission is of her beautiful murder child EW Leo relaxing near a Japanese styled garden during his recovery arc with the family. I gave her full creative freedom for the design and being able to see Leon ( Kappa ) fully relax was just *chefs kiss*

Second commission! This time of her favorite murder child EW Leon meeting EW Future Leon with the theme BONDING :D

I wanted a bit more of an elaborate design this time so I had her go all out this time. I gave her full creative freedom and I wanted the three images done in a 3 Koma style comic from Japan.

The three images I wanted from them was:

1. First meeting each other - which she did with a twist by having Present Leon going to the Doomed timeline ~ I loved it when I got the sketch and I couldn't be more happier with the result.

2. The two of them sparring - I full on cackled when I saw the image because the fact that Present Leon got the drop on Future Leon ahhhhh! Love it! And it was also ingenious because it was a literally "Foot to the face"

- I'll shut up now on that zing

3. And lastly; I wanted them to bond with either simple tea drinking or anything to show a soft side to each other.

Boy did I get the bonding hahaha! Nice little show of ageism with Future Leon teasing Present about his huge crush on Usagi. The look on Kappa's face was just priceless - I loved it all so much!!!

Some things I wanna talk about in new rottmnt comic!!

SPOILERS‼️

Triceraton Empire!! So it confirms there are triceratons that survived the Krang (considering we saw a skull of theirs in Technodrome). Also my friend Banjo ( @little-banjo-frog ) mentioned how it probably is a reference to 2012 bounty hunter shark-cyborg!!

Another thing is how it is confirmed its the good future. And Raph has lost one eye and his right arm!! And Mikey lost his hair... in the 20 years that passed.

In the future Draxum and Todd seem to be staying with the family!!

Leo ended up dimension hopping for months! What did he see, where did he go, how did he return home?? (Giggling because i got an au based on that hehe!! This is my favorite fact anyways let's move on)

Also April looks so cool guys...

FRIDA REVEAL

THIS PANEL. We already had seen the pervious page. But this panel: other than their dialogue I love their expressions. Present Leo seems scared (considering what the previous time travel event was about, not a surprise), but also "i can't stay mad at you". He seems to respect/admire his older self. Meanwhile Big Leo looking at him with a smile, softly... That guy doesn't hate his young self. He seems to care for him so much (which considering the plot... yeah makes sense), but it's nice to see his old self being nice with his younger self ♡

All in all I'm just grateful I get to read so much post-apocalypse content that is mostly comfort and shenanigans with just the right amount of silly and crazy. The family love is powerful in everything you do. Thank you!

So if you dont mind me I was just going to ramble about my ideas surrounding This post.

... so it takes place in the far future, where humanity has mived on to live with the planet and live harmoniously (think solar punk). the reason for their success as a species can be traced back to these mysterious heroes, who have vanishes from the world and are now mostly regarded as myth.

the turtles themselves have aged weirdly. without the stress and tremendous pain of the apocalypse they do not seem to age like humans do. much like the Yokai they are based upon they find they have incredibly long lifespans.

and as they age, they move away from what ties them to being human.

they become mythic and ethereal.

I didnt have clear cut plans for most of them, but heres what i came up with:

Raph never stops growing, ever. while his brothers find suitable hights he gets ever taller. eventually he becomes too large to move about safely.

When this happens he voluntarily sinks into a deep sleep. his physical body becomes part of the landscape as the world carries on around him.

But Raph's not gone. he can still send out his projections, which without a close bond with his physical form become more and more abstract as time goes on and Raph becomes more separated from his physical body, still embedded in the landscape.

The locals call these forms their 'red angels' as they commonly lead lost children back home and protect wanderers from falling rock slides. they also look almost incomprehensible, their abstract forms overwhelming to the human eye, such a display of mystic power.

Donnie never stops working. his need to create insatiable. So he never stops. From the shadows he helps humans build their technology, expanding their collective knowledge with his own.

he pours his soul into his work.

his technology becomes inseparable from humanity.

and so does he.

Donnie's soul is present in every computer, interface, and screen. watching over humanity behind a curtain of coding.

hes spent so much time watching over humans and creating with them, that hes kind of... forgotten... what he last did with his body.

oh well. he can always build a new one.

Mikey never stops helping

Mikey has committed himself to the restoration of nature. during humanities growing pains a lot of the planet had been scarred by their errors.

So Mikey has been helping them fix it.

with the help of his mystic powers, which have evolved beyond all recognition, he twists the environment back to the health of its prime.

(large machines a big as skyscrapers aid him, purple light flooding their servers as they trudge through the landscape)

he gives so much of himself, so much of the light of his soul to nature that its started to give back. flowers grow where he stands, the wind ruffles his hair. he snores in whalesong. he can speak in the light trills of birds. the wind gales when he sneezes. and his scales become soft with moss

Leo has grown with the O'Neil bloodline. All his brothers startes distancing themselves from the family once April passed, unable to look at the faces of her descendants without being over come by grief. but Leo stays.

he looks the same as he did a thousand years ago.

So in this Au, F!Raph died when Cj was 5. So there’s not much to say future wise. Cuz Cj rmbs zilch

Present wise: there was inital awkwardness for Cj meeting someone he’s only ever heard stories off plus that awkwardness of meeting someone new. But it was a breath of fresh air for Case, cuz surrounded by these reminders and unfamiliarity, Raph hurts the least. In the first few days post invasion, Cj hung out a lot with Raph cuz everyone was kinda down for the count. April couldn’t be around 24/7 cuz she had to check in with her human family, Mikey was spending the first 3-5 days sleeping alot cuz mystic exhaustion plus his hands. Donnie was in his lab a lot trying to process all the events, plus fix everything the Krang broke and Leo was in his week long coma. And Splints who decided to get off the couch for once was stretched thin trying to look out for everyone and so as a result the two were kinda just smushed tgt allowing them to bond.

Overall I picture their dynamic as the most laidback (drama free). Largely in part cuz; A)Cj has less emotional hang ups cuz he doesn’t have to expand mental energy to manage his expectations or manage * cough push down cough * any crushing grief/feelings of abandonment/anger cuz said feelings of abandonment cuz he doesn’t rmb F!Raph to have an attachment, tho he does occasionally feel a bit guilty sometimes for hanging out with Raph but that’s a comic for another time.

B) while Cj is a menace. He’s also a sensible and kind (everyone say thank you F!Mikey) menace who sees how stressed Raph gets trying to wrangle all 3 brothers and feels bad about adding more to his plate. And plus is also very much aware of his mortality and others mortality cuz apocalypse. So the menace only comes out during chill time. Not on missions. Misson wise he’s just like he is in the movie trying to get everyone to stay on track. Which Raph rlly appreciates. But even during chill time Cj is arguably the “calmer” one cuz that’s just how he is as a person. Tho that calmer is debatable cuz it’s by Raph’s skewed standards of his other siblings not normal ppl standards to normal ppl Case still looks unhinged lmao.

but generally if they’re hanging out 1 on 1 (in a group setting it’s a whole diff story) Cj tries his best to not stress Raph too much. Unless the menace/cain instinct is hitting hard that day. Cuz he’s a sweet boy liek that. 😂. so they’re usually doing typical chill friend things, watching movies, sparring, sharing bout their day, . causally wandering around topside/Hidden city. With the undercurrent of Raph trade mark mother-henning and Cj depending on the circumstances either goes along with it or tries to get Raph to back off cuz it worries/irritates Cj. All in all they’re just your typical very wholesome older- younger brother dynamic

Side note: Raph and Cj are honestly lowkey relieved their hangouts/dynamic are so chill. They love their family but man do they both need a break sometimes XD. For Junior it’s cuz seeing the dead not dead version of family plus struggle of grief/ juggling his expectations for said family is exhausting and having someone whose removed from that whole situation is like phew thank god. For Raph he’s just so glad he has a little brother/sibling/friend who doesn’t have a 95% chance of turning anything (even fricking ice) into a grease fire when left unsupervised unintentionally or not. Tho tbh causal theft, looser morals and gratuitous use of blackmail and occasional pranks may not be much better. Cj is truly his fathers son 😂

10. Everyone's just fine with Donnie modding the moon buggy? (362 notes)

It occurred to me that despite being MASSIVE nerds for the Jupiter Jim franchise, the bros seemed awfully chill with Donnie taking an actual on-set moon buggy and modding the hell out of it.

A few people argued with me in the notes that the Turtle Tank is so cool no one could possibly be mad about it and I do think that's fair. The Turtle Tank is easily my favorite thing Donnie made in the show.

Here's a lil something I've spent some time on! I'm definitely nearing my goal of being able to draw comics! .^.

However, keep in mind that I'm very much an amateur artist, so there will be imperfections😅.

Here, I've drawn a lot of new (and scary) poses, expressions, perspectives, and clothes! I never draw clothes! I've also never even tried to draw them in the same clothes from different perspectives like this before. I also mainly draw without references

And i know i know, it's always better with references but i always just get distracted while looking for a good reference and most of the time i give up before i even find one and just draw it without anyways, lol

Here's a page I've been working on non-stop for literal days. It was a lot of fun! And it helped me try out a new art style :]

Here we have the doodle that started it all! I did use a cat as a reference, and i personally found that hilarious

Anyways, leonardo is being held like the cat that he is. Meanwhile, leo is held next to him vibing, not a thought behind those eyes

They decided to have a day of leo to leo Bonding and got iced coffee for the occasion, probably spending some time clothes shopping and going equally crazy over a random article of clothing with a unicorn on it

This one has a bit more story behind it, they went on a day outing with the fam, nardo had grabbed a map of the city and they decided to stray from the group to explore, and they quickly got lost.

Leonardo helped leo get on his shoulders to see if there were any familiar landmarks around, and while leo enjoyed being roughly 12 feet tall, nardo texted the others asking where they were and looked around the area.

Entirely lost, leonardo decided to ask a pair of yokai ladies for directions. They turned out to be extremely helpful, one of them pointing out where on the map they were and where the landmark raph had sent them is.

Meanwhile, some backstory here: ever since leonardo had stopped staying in the lair 24/7 and actually started coming with when the others went out, leo had become an expert at keeping flirtatious yokai of all shapes sizes and genders away from his eldest brother

Leo noticed one of the yokai women was trying to make a move on him and stepped between her and nardo, making for a hilarious scene when he told her to stay away from his clearly adult brother

Leonardo is entirely oblivious as to the amount of yokai that find him attractive, which is exactly how leo wants it to be, for some reason

It's even funnier with the fact that leonardo is, in fact, very gay.

They thanked the yokai (leo doing that gesture where you point at your eyes then at the person as an unspoken "i got my eyes on you" behind nardo's back) then stepped away from the crowd and planned when and where everyone would meet up (they quickly decided on a food spot that accommodated everyones needs, and they had often gone there for lunch or early dinner in the past)

While they waited, the two decided to browse some stores, window shop etc.

Leonardo bought himself a backpack and proceeded to purchase knickknacks, snacks, and gifts for the fam, including some that he snuck in there for leo without the teen noticing (he was the greatest ninja the world had ever seen, once, after all)

While nardo walked, leo was chatting away happily on his shoulders, the elders tail wagging along as well, especially when leo told a pun or two, once a leo, always a leo. (Leonardo chipped in with some puns as well)

(leonardo personally believes his tail is pretty damn useless since it's so short. He has stated, "The only thing it's good for is waggin' " in the past. However, the rest of the fam think that's a perfectly adequate reason to have a tail)

They spent the entire day out having fun and walked around with just a handfull of breaks, so i think it's safe to say they'd be pretty drained by the time they got home

On another note, nardo being a war veteran and all that, I'm not 100% sure how that works but i like to imagine he'd get rather overwhelmed by all the crowds, different smells and loud noises (in other words overstimulation) so i think he'd be WAY more drained than everyone else by the end of the day (save for maybe mikey, i bet he'd be pretty drained too)

Either way, nardo basically just flopped onto the nearest plush surface and went out like a light while everyone else went to bed like regular people. This is a common occurrence after long, exhausting days

OKAY RAMBLE TIME!! APOCALYPSE SISTERS THEMED RAMBLE TO BE CLEAR

I invite and encourage y’all to bounce your own ideas off of mine because currently nothing is concrete and I’d love more ideas for the story! Or about y’all’s Aus I just wanna hear ideas in general and my brain is spinning rn

Anyway ON WITH THE RAMBLE!! (I warn you it’s is quite long)

Okay so y’know good ol Frida Hamato— wait y’all don’t know… yikes I don’t have an info dump on her yet. Okay during the post movie timeline (the one the story takes place in) she is quite cold to her brothers for a while. She had known of their existence her whole life but never made a move to connect to them for two reasons, 1, she wouldn’t waste her time with these brothers that she’d never met. All she knows about them is that they are enemies of Big Mama and a hindrance in her work. She is unknown to them and she’d rather keep it that way. 2, after Vita’s disappearance she doesn’t want another close relationship. Her sister, he only family she had known, was gone. She wasn’t going to replace her sister and she wasn’t ready for more siblings when she couldn’t protect her first one. Her family is Big Mama and she wants to focus on that. She wants to protect her mother without distractions.

BUT! When she sees Vita and realizes she is alive everything changes. She wants to be with Vita, she wants to be have her sister back. And by that point vita has already formed a bond with the others, so being close with Vita means being close with her brothers. Through Vita she becomes close with the others and, after a long time with many struggles, she joins the Hamato Clan and leaves Big Mama to be with her family. She still loves Big Mama and will not take and back talk of her mother but she grows extremely close with her brothers and finally feels loved.

Now the rest of her story joining the Hamato clan is a different ramble that’s just the necessary info. And in case that makes absolutely no since here’s a bullet point

Frida became close with her Brothers through Vita.

But in the apocalyptic timeline (where Casey is from) she doesn’t have Vita. (Going to refer to Bad future timeline as FT and the present timeline as PT)

Yep. She never reunites with Vita in the FT. Now let me explain why.

Vita was in the prison dimension until Mikey (PT) opened a portal to save Leo. In the FT Leo never sacrificed himself and the Krang were never locked away. (FT) Vita escaped the prison dimension during the early apocalypse. She wandered with the only goal being to murder the Krang. After years more of no interaction she went completely mad. The only thing she knew was she hated the Krang with all her being. She never joined the resistance, she never reunited with her sister, she never met her brothers, she never truly became a Hamato.

In the resistance there was a myth, a rumor, that there was someone, or something, out there fighting off the Krang. They called her Yūrei, the Japanese word for Ghost, or Specter. Yūrei was someone even the Krang supposedly feared. It was rumored her eyes were those of Krang, some even believed Yūrei was a beast sent by the Krang, but according to many stories it seemed her wrath was directed to the Krang alone. No one had heard her voice but her broken, manic, howling laughter haunted anyone who heard.

Yūrei is Vita. She would rarely stumble upon members of the resistance in her hunt for the Krang, and she saved them from the Krang’s attacks. Vita’s mind was too broken to realize she was helping someone she simply hunted anything of Krang kind. She acted almost beast like in the way she hunted, focused and intent on ending her prey. She dressed in the attire similar to 12!Mikey’s dimension X outfit. She also wore bits and pieces of Krang mechs, sometimes using the head of one as a mask.

Casey never grew up with an aunt Vee, but he grew up hearing the horrifying tales of Yūrei.

Oh and perhaps Leo had a moment where he met Yūrei on a mission. I’m unaware of the details but it’s an idea I’d like to develop further!

So! Bullet point for Vita!

Vita’s mind shattered in the FT, she became almost animal like, she lived to hunt the Krang. She became known as Yūrei, meaning Ghost or Specter by the resistance.

Now, back to Frida. Because she never had Vita to connect her with the brothers she stayed glued to her Mother’s side. She became much more serious throughout the apocalypse as well. Big Mama, even in the middle of a war, kept her business booming. Her Nexus Hotel stayed in business under a cloaking spell during the early years of the FT. Eventually, the Krang found it and destroyed it. Big Mama was left wounded and under the care of Frida. Frida sought out a shelter for her and her injured Mother and eventually stumbled upon the resistance. She pleaded with the head of the resistance, which at the time was Hamato Yoshi and the EPF. They accepted after some time, but splinter was not expecting to see Big Mama when Frida came back. Big Mama and Splinter became close again and Frida felt like she was being left behind. But through joining the resistance she met her brothers. Draxum explained that she was their sister and they were (mostly) ecstatic, although suspicious that she was raised by Big Mama. Frida stayed glued to her mother’s side and never truly became close to her brothers. She acknowledged them as siblings and would participate in conversation with them. Mikey tried really really hard to get her to open up but she never warmed up to them to the point of PT Frida. But they were all family and it was good. She was distant but did like her new brothers. She grew closest to Raph, and Mikey, who made the most effort to welcome her and also grew to be close friends with Cassandra.

The first to die was splinter. It grieved Big Mama immensely and she, only a few years later, died in battle to serve the Hamato Clan. Frida was a wreck for a long time after her mother’s death, but with her mother dying for the clan Frida felt more of a familial connection with the Hamatos.

And, with her mother gone, the Nexus Employees looked for guidance. They looked to Frida for guidance. They didn’t know what to do without Big Mama’s orders and Frida was next in line. she felt like it was her duty to follow in her mother’s footsteps. She left the Resistance with the remainder of the original hotel staff, and any others who tagged along, and went back to the nexus hotel. She rebuilt it from its ruins and created a haven for any wanderers stranded in New York. They used cloaking spells to hide the sound and lights inside.

To any passersby it just looked like a crumpled ruined building, but once they step in it revealed itself as warm and welcoming haven for the weary and tired. To anyone who had known of the Grand Nexus Hotel before its destruction it would look like a pathetic mockery of its previous elegance, but it was a remarkable transformation from its ruined state. And the head of it all was none other than Frida. Frida managed everything, from security and comfort to food regulation. Her employees served her loyally every step of the way. The Battle Nexus arena was used as a storage wing and barracks when the hotel was full.

Y’all it’s your favorite time, Bullet Points!

Frida never became very close with her Brothers, more like they were just good friends. She became closest with Mikey, Raph, and Cassandra.

After Big Mama’s death Frida rebuilt the Nexus Hotel and it became known as a sort of dystopian rest stop for survivors of the apocalypse.

Also the song that inspired most of these thoughts was the first 45 seconds of “come let us adore you” (from Steven universe) in the perspective of the hotel staff singing it to Frida.

Casey never became close with Frida but knew that she was his aunt. She is the only person he has ever known as the owner of the Nexus Hotel. Frida never tried to connect with Casey; she is not a fan of kids.

Frida dresses in a dystopian/apocalyptic business style outfit.

There’s 2 main options on how she reunites with them:

1. At one point either Mikey or Leo accidentally enter the Hotel to hide from the Krang and are shocked at what they see. Then they see Frida, giving orders left and right with a cold expression across her face. She doesn’t notice him until he runs up to her to greet her after not seeing each other for years. Her expression warms when she sees him but she stays formal, like addressing a coworker. She missed the Hamatos while she was away but got along fine without them.

2. Disaster strikes at the Hotel when the Krang discover the cloaking spell and Frida seeks out refuge with the resistance. She then learns of the passing of Raph and Cassandra and meets Casey for the first time. After that she stays with them the rest of her days, helping as commander.

Or 3… she doesn’t reunite and dies before she sees them again.

There are many more options I’m considering but those are the main ones!

And now, How this affects the PT!!!

After the events of chapter 1, Casey is so confused. He has no clue who Vita is and it seriously itches his brain because he’s from the future and has never seen this mutant turtle. Then.. he hears her laugh. And he’s horrified. He is genuinely scared of Vita and avoids her at all costs because he knows her a Yūrei. The vicious beast that he thought was just a myth.

And when he meets Frida it’s like whiplash. His aunt Frida, the distant, serious, stone faced commander, was so different. After only week of being with the hamatos she was acting competitive and overconfident. It’s a side he never saw of his aunt. (Also it was a facade but that’s for the Frida ramble)

With everything that happened in the PT vita and Frida are DRASTICALLY different people. Vita’s mind stayed as intact as it could get, and Frida finally found people that really love her, with time, discovering her real personality and showing her real smile instead of the one plastered to her face for the cameras.

SOOOOOOOOO UHHHHHH YEAH. APOCALYPSE STUFF.

A new member was added to the Hamato clan shortly after the invasion ended. You were one of the clan members that weren't hurt too badly, just a couple of scrapes and bruises that could have been easily taken care of. You weren't going to lie. You liked it when you weren't the most fragile one in the house anymore, even if it was temporarily.

When they got better, it really did get worse. They were more set on shielding you—and now Casey—from the world. They were hurt badly, and yet, they took your minor scrapes as even more reason to treat you like you were so incapable of protecting yourself.

…but you finally weren't the only one getting this treatment anymore! Of course, you felt bad for Casey. He grew up in the apocalypse, and he knew how to fight. His master Leonardo taught him, so getting patronized by a younger version of his dad–Sensei probably wouldn't sit well with the future boy.

For Casey, it started by them insisting for him to stay with all of you. I mean, where else would he go in a world that doesn't know he exists?

When he started living with you all, you and him bonded instantly, he knew you from his future, as one of the greatest fighters in the resistance, you had great resilience when it came to survival, and you were always kind towards others, your unbridled wrath reserved just for the Kraang.

The turtle's would go with you on missions whenever they possibly could, attempting to protect you from everything they possibly could. but when they couldn't, you really shined on the field.

Back in the present time, the Hamato's themselves had become very acquainted with Casey, and unfortunately for him, that meant he was trapped with you all forever, you didn't mind of course, it was nice to have someone in your life who didn't worry over you all the time, and being stuck in the house while the rest of the family got to do some fun missions.

You both would have cleaning parties and hobby discoveries with each other (mostly for Casey).

Raph, the cuddly giant he is, still interrupted your sleep schedule, but it was somehow worse now?

It would be more likely for you to wake up to him staring at you looking like some sleep paralysis demon in the night. And since you and Casey would eventually share a room, he would wake up too, being the light sleeper he was.

Raph and Casey… never really got along. They never fought or anything. They were just hella awkward. Casey treated all of the turtles with the respect of parental aged elders, and with Raph, he treated him like a respected professor. It bums out Raph that he can't connect with the younger teen.

Casey still had the issue with calling the turtle's 'Master', and it still had an effect on Leo, even if he had toned down a bit after the invasion. Maybe he felt a sense of importance when Casey would slip up. You never knew, Leo the stubborn shit he was, never talked about his issues with his family.

Casey would also become a victim of kidnapping by Leo. You would try to keep the poor boy company, but sometimes Leo wouldn't even let you in. something about personal bonding time with his future self's son.

Donnie would come around to warm up to Casey, and when he did, it could have been the best day of your life. With Donnie, walking on eggshells when you're by yourself was horrific, especially with him. But with Casey here with you, it was slightly less horrific.

His attention would also seek Casey's approval as well, and luckily for Casey, he was already interested in whatever Donnie invented. The outcome with Donnie keeping you both in the room together was likely to have the same cause, either Leo keeping you or him or both of you for the longest in his portal dimension, or because he 'wanted to keep you safe' from your brothers

Mikey loves Casey! Another sibling to hang out with and taste his cooking. He would often have you and Casey over in his room playing some sort of game or doing some art activity, or other times, asking for help in the kitchen. What you come to learn about Mikey is that when he asks you to do something, it’s usually an unsaid order, giving a certain look when denied

“Um, no thanks Mikey,”

“Why not.” A statement, not a question

“...Nevermind, we’ll help.”

“Great!”

Even when you didn't want to, Mikey always got what he wanted. One of the unsaid punishments you would receive would be Mikey hiding drugs like rohypnol in your snacks when he would bring some to you both after you and / or Casey refused to hang out with him.

You wouldn’t be doing anything else without him now.

NCIS: Origins this week took steps towards establishing why the story that narrator Gibbs is telling us about “her” aka Special Agent Lala Dominguez resonates with him to this day.

Along the way, we briefly laid eyes on a young version of a character who would appear in the NCIS mothership’s very first episode, and pop up now and again to this day.

As Gibbs (Mark Harmon) shared in this episode’s opening narration, Lala (played by Mariel Molino) would at some future point confide in him that she felt trapped in a “box,” and one that seems to be growing smaller. Things such as Franks (Kyle Schmid) suggesting she is a “workplace distraction” for Gibbs (Austin Stowell) clearly weigh on her. Lala, though, is in no rush to let “probie” know what she is feeling. Rather, she’s still irked about last week’s case, during which Gibbs drew his gun on two nobodies who were giving her a hard time.

Lala heads out with Vera (Diany Rodriguez) and Mary Jo (Tyla Abercrombie) for a “girls night,” to celebrate the former getting a green light for her profiling program. When Lala gets paged regarding NIS work, she heads to her car — only to have the guy she was kinda dancing with follow her and climb into the passenger seat uninvited. Lala tells the guy to get out, noting that she has work to do (and a boyfriend). But then a switch “flips” for her, and she suddenly pulls the stranger in for a kiss (and more?).

Lala is not herself upon reporting to the crime scene with smeared lipstick, and is notably “off” that whole night and day after. (No, Gibbs, offering a bowl of cereal won’t cure what ails her.) But they proceed to investigate the murder, which was made to look like suicide, of a Navy wonk who had access to military secrets.

Along the way, Franks asks SAC Wheeler (Patrick Fischler) to lean on his FBI contact for information the bureau has on the likely buyer. When Franks and Wheeler meet up with the FBI source at a Mexican restaurant well-populated by LEOs, the G-man waves over his young colleague “Tobias” — as in Fornell! The young version of Joe Spano’s NCIS character, whom Gibbs will first meet in the NCIS series premiere, is played by Lucas Dixon, whose previous TV credits include episodes of The Tick and Blindspot.

“In 1991, Agent Fornell is an affable underling who’s still finding his footing at the Bureau,” reads the official character description obtained by TVLine.

When the opportunity presents itself for Gibbs to pose as the man buying the stolen Navy intel, Lala tags along to coach “probie” through his first undercover op. And boy, does nervous Gibbs need the assist. With a glam Lala posing as Gibbs’ date at an exclusive bar, the two watch for the seller. There are sudden embraces (to dodge Gibbs’ dentist!) and the cupping of faces (to see the cover). Soon enough, Gibbs is invited to meet with the seller in a back room — both agents unaware that their SWAT team backup just got pulled away to another gig. So when Lala repeatedly uses the “congratulations” code word to signal SWAT’s breach… nothing happens. And this being 1991, the wire Lala’s wearing is only one-way. When Gibbs’ briefcase full of “show me” money counts up light, the seller and his goons smell a rat. Gibbs thinks fast and holds an ice pick, which had been deftly slipped to him by “tipsy” Lala, to the seller’s neck, while Lala manages to snatch a gun and pick off the goon who has a pistol aimed at her partner.

Afterwards, we see Lala overhearing NIS locker room talk about how hot she looked in her undercover dress — but she does what she always does, “deflects” it with equally inappropriate jabs of her own. That is the “box” she finds herself trapped in.

Or, at least one of them.

Because it then becomes clear that she feels to also be inside a “box” at home, into which her beau has been trying to move. And before the episode ends, we see Lala start to tell him about the parking lot hook-up, and presumably then give him his walking papers.

Au idea, Leosagi x2 Au or Get your Cake and Eat it AU

Say Future Leo, refered to as Sensei or Leonardo-san was sent back with Casey but was put into a coma waking up a week after the Krang invasion. To celebrate Present Leo, refered to as Leo or Leo-kun, takes them all to Run of the Mill Pizza. Leo mentioneds since the Krangs gone he can finally make his move on this cute waiter he saw the week before the invasion. Sensei recalls that memory and adds " I never saw him after that."

Usagi Yuichi just started his new job at the Pizza Place after Lord Kogane banished him for "not being of anymore use" after the resolution of the Yokai and Alien threat. So he moved to the hidden city a week before the invasion. During the "mystic blackout" Miyamoto Usagi was released, revealing that afters sealing the Yokai, Miyamoto was sealed away in the mystic yoyo since he "stabbed" the Ki stone. Now free and readjusted to corporeal life he is invited by Yuichi to find work at Run Up the Mill, Miyamoto interpreting it as find a bodyguard job while hanging out at the restaurant.

"Hueso-san, I.. uh got back in contact with my estranged dad. And I want him to work here so we can... Father/son bond at work." While Yuichi gives his cringe explanation to Señor Hueso, Someone catched Miyamoto's eye.

Sensei, upon seeing his younger self trying to flirt with Yuichi, starts to resign to the fact He and his younger self are now different people, leading different lives as he sees Leo do things he gave up on years ago. In that moment is when he sees Miyamoto walking to his table.

Tldr it's a Future!Leo x Miyamoto and a Present!Leo x Yuichi.

In this au Miyamoto and Sensei Leo are around the same age* (I'm seeing Miyamoto "I regret not spending as much as the fleeting time i had with my son, Jotaro" Usagi and Hamato "my timeline is erased and I'm a single father" Leonardo angst.)

*Miyamoto can be older, if he had exp as a samurai he's definitely older than 30.

And Leo and Yuichi are the same age and are going to deal with the fact they is technically their own grandpa. I'm kidding but there is angst on them feeling at fault for their own Alien invasions and not living up to expectations.
