That’s the comic!! It was for Trauma’s TMNTober Day 3 “Starvation”

This is toward the end of the apocalypse, so food is scarce. Donnie had already eaten his meal but it was not nearly enough (hence why he is hungry in the first panel). Then Leo, the leader of the resistance who hasn’t eaten all day, sees Donnie hungry. Leo was so hungry… he’d been working all day… but he gets up, puts on a show, and gives Donnie his food. But that is his twin, of course Donnie saw through his twins self-sacrificial charade, and Donnie is furious. Leo lied to his FACE and expected him to go along with it!? Maybe Casey would fall for it, maybe he would accept the food, but that trick would NOT work on Donnie.

So why does your life flash before you die??

The post I saw talking about it said it’s your brain making a last ditch effort to grasp onto some experience that can help you. It explained it like as you grow older if you drop something your brain will subconsciously brings memories back and then react appropriately to the situation, since it’s happened before. When you’re young and have never experienced what to do/how to react when you drop something your brain doesn’t have those memories to help. So of course, when it tries to do this during a near death experience, it finds nothing because you haven’t ever experienced death. (IDK IF THIS IS TRUE OF IF I EXPLAINED IT RIGHT! DONT TAKE THIS FACT!)

My google search gave me some scientific jargon and something something about memories, so I have no idea if it’s confirming this idea or not

Sooooooooo I started a comic a while ago and I uhhhhhh yeah I never finished it… I wasn’t sure how— POST DERAILED. I PICKED UP NAPKIN AND THERE WAS A SPIDER IN IT. I AM TERRIFIED. IDK IF IT WAS ALIVE. HELP. OKAY I KILLED IT WERE GOOD. Back to the point of this post— so yeah I wasn’t sure how to end it. So now I’m wondering if y’all would still like to see it? Practically every Thomas Sanders vine they are HILARIOUS! Off the top of my head: I love the “you have two homework questions… each with 23 parts!” And the one about looking at your phone screen at night!

4. What is your favorite childhood YouTuber?

I used to watch a TON of FGTV but it went very downhill (I honestly don’t even remember anything other than that). Oh but Team Edge was SO GOOD!!! I still rewatch their old videos, so I’d definitely say Team Edge is my favorite childhood YouTuber!!

18. Or do you prefer a rodent, reptile, or something aquatic?

Out of those options, I’d say I really like reptiles! Lizards are awesome and I love looking at snakes (from a SAFE a distance)!

Wine red, blood red, burgundy, basically any dark red (especially leaning a little towards the pink side!), and also sometimes grayish muted pastels!

Overall I’d say Leo! He is always a close second favorite turtle for every iteration I’ve seen so far (excluding 2003 bc I haven’t finished it). He’s such a lovable dork and no matter how he changes he still seems to be really good.

29. WHO do you think would win in a fight? A tiger or a grizzly bear?

Oh that’s a hard one. Hmmmm… maybe the tiger? Tiger’s are smaller and agile, while grizzly bear’s a pretty big, I think the Tiger would have the advantage. Grizzly bear’s may have the advantage of sheer strength but I think a Tiger could take one by surprise and win the fight.

I need an au where Odysseus doesn’t drop Astyanax (the infant) and takes him with him the whole journey, along with Polities not dying aswell 🥺 (and they don’t die in ‘Ruthlessness’, ‘Scylla’, or ‘Thunder Bringer’ somehow)

Like I need this so bad, but I do realize that would change so much of the plot but like I’m tempted to write this or at least make some art based on this idea

HI FERNI!!

Epic the musical has been running wild in my mind as of late (You should 100% go watch it if you haven’t) along with the usual (tmnt, my aus, SWWTRH, etc.) oh and just today I started a lil mini comic that I doubt I’ll finish because… *glances at all my wips* uh yeah… hehe. I do really like the one panel I made for it so far! It would only be like 4-5 panels long so hopefully I’ll finish it ^-^

Okay okay okay OF COURSE i have things to ramble about Letter From my Future Self but what to choose and say without major spoilers is tricky…. Hmmmmmm…. Gonna put it under a cut :D

(This is a spoiler but it’s pretty minor and goofy)

I have recently been thinking about how Donnie deals with the beginning of the movie (after he is sent back in time w/ Casey) and I think one interaction that could happen is rlly funny so I’ll talk about that heheh

In the beginning of the movie, after Casey is thrown into the past, he searches and inevitably finds April O’Neil. As we all know he scares her and she immediately knocks him unconscious. In my au something similar happens, Casey and Donnie are sent back together. At the time Donnie was brought to the future he had only been in their new lair for a couple of weeks, so, with all the craziness and new information that comes with the apocalypse, …he completely forgets where the new lair is. Him and Casey use the photo (like in the movie) and track down April at her school. Donnie sees her from a distance and freezes up. He hasn’t seen HIS April in nearly three years, anything could happen (also he’s all emotional seeing the first person from his timeline in three years but shhhh don’t hurt his emotionally unavailable bad boy image). Then he blinks and Casey has already jumped down and been knocked unconscious. Donnie’s brotherly instincts kick in and without a second thought he’s standing right in front of his Sister. He would be attacking but his instincts are at a hard stand still because that is his brother who is currently unconscious and vulnerable but that’s his sister… resulting in him just immediately mixing the two instincts with the knowledge that April wouldn’t hurt either of them and Casey would be fine as long as he wasn’t left there. This results is his guard being partially relaxed (mainly due to being so flabbergasted) that the following happens:

Donnie (too overloaded to take in anything that just happened): You knocked him unconscious!?! Wha— *hits the ground, unconscious*

April (without comprehending its Donnie): *hits him over the head with her bat* STRANGER DANGER!

That’s the goofy option but I have a couple others spinning in the mind as well (Donnie stops her from knocking him out, Donnie immediately tries explains things, Donnie attacks April out of pure instinct, etc. etc.)

If you ever want to know more about literally anything I will happily answer (in a way that avoids as many spoilers a possible but an answer nonetheless!) also I’m glad you think the story is interesting it occupies so much of my brain space hfreuhfreuuncfeijnfecniucefihnvfenih
