I saw some Japanese fans on twitter responding to Okada's new AEW t-shirt with shock and dismay, and uh...

The Japanese text on here says ビッチ which is a Japanese loanword taken from the English language word "bitch" - but like many loanwords, the Japanese loanword does not have the same meaning or connotations as the original word it was taken from.

In Japanese, the loanword ビッチ bitch doesn't mean "bitch" - it means "slut"

Weird isat thought.

So Vaugarde is all about change, that everything changes and never stops changing into new and different things. Emotions change. People change. The world changes.

But crabs don't change. Crabs as Mirabelle states are inevitable. Their evolution path is so successful that there is no need to change, they will always be a crab. It is the one discrepancy in the change belief. It is something that will never change again. A crab will always be a crab.

And to make it worse the evolutionary design is so successful that other animals also copy the design and become crab-like. While changing to become crab is in its essence change, it's change that leads to permanentce. Change that will never change again. A final form. A completion. A stagnation.

Plus it seems that it's taboo or at least considered gross to eat crabs in Vaugarde which may play into the thought process of "you are what you eat."

My drawing of the kids of Stugo :) I’ve only seen the first episode but it was very fun. My favourite character so far is Merian <3 she is so funny, I love her massive blazer and highly strung nature.
