hey so how do you think Roy Mustang would deal with having a s/o who looks after him, they don’t baby him and treat him normally, they just make sure he is able to reach for something if he drops it on the floor and stop him from walking into walls or falling down stairs if he asks s/o to walk with him, cook for him instead of just letting him have horrible hospital food, man is being pampered basically, while he is blind until he has his sight back again?

Like, you won’t do everything for him and you’ll still talk to him like he’s your equal but you will do little things like bring tea to him in bed on those nights that are especially hard for him

And you’ll always take his hands and guide them into grabbing the cup in a firm grip, and even leaving your fingers to linger on the cup long enough for him to have his first sip

Just in case, you tell him, but he knows deep down inside that you’re not too keen on seeing him get hurt ever again

And of course, you’re cooking even more for him now and making sure everything is easy to eat while he’s still getting used to maneuvering around without sight

He doesn’t mention how he noticed that they’re usually all of his favorite meals but he does mention how he much he loves your cooking

But what he appreciates most of all is just how you’re always nearby whenever he needs you to be

From guiding him through new environments to preventing him from running into things to holding him close to you whenever things are quiet and you’re both alone

Because as much as he lost during that fateful fight, the two of you know that he could have lost so, so, so much more

Also, I think I got the roles in these flip-flopped, but I really liked how it turned out, so we’re rolling with it.

It had been six days, and Greed was, admittedly, getting a little freaked out. 

You had never been gone this long. Even back when you would leave after an argument in the Devil’s Nest. When he had been the previous Greed. 

The annoying Xingese prince had tried consoling him. Had tried to talk him out of going to look for you. The Promised Day was any day now. They couldn’t afford to have him running off and looking for someone who didn’t really have a massive part in the plan. 

But that didn’t matter to Greed. You were his possession. His wingmate. His right hand number one. His friend. He wasn’t going to risk you being hurt. Or even worse. Dead. 

He got his answer about your whereabouts two days later. 

Eight days of not seeing you. It was like Greed was going through withdrawals. He didn’t know he depended on you so much. Sure Ling Yao had teased him about it, but he had never put much stock into what the prince said unless it came to fighting.

He found you in a warehouse. Or rather, he found your still form slumped in a corner, cracks evidence of you being flung against the concrete. Blood had pooled around your motionless body, and he felt his heart seize. He started forward,

“Wait! It could be a trap!” The Xingese prince called from within his mind, but he shut that proverbial door and locked him out. 

He didn’t give a damn if it was a trap. All that mattered was you. 

You didn’t move when he shook your shoulder, slapped your cheek, shouted your name, anything. He cupped your cheeks and tilted your head to look at him. 

And promptly recoiled. 

He didn’t realize he was crying until he felt hot tears drip onto his hands.

Science for People Who Hate Science by Tierfal -- FMA -- 66k words -- Royed Modern AU, but even if you dislike that ship you might want to give this one a chance; it’s really more of an origfic about two characters losely inspired by Roy & Ed. They run a goofy educational youtube channel and are two dorks in love. Al shows up to make fun of them sometimes. It’s a good time!

The Sleeping Horror of Whiskerford by Eltea -- FMA -- 3.5k words -- another modern AU, in which the gang (Ed, Al, Winry, Riza, Roy, Hughes) plays D&D. Worth it for Ed’s character sheet alone, but overall just a hilarious & fun time.

A Clowder of Cats by Batsutousai -- FMA -- 4k words -- post-canon (a more-or-less canon universe fic for once!), Al settles down and adopts a bunch of cats (AS HE DESERVES)

Teen Wolf

the butt is a gift by lazulisong -- Teen Wolf -- 1.5k words -- Stiles is pinned to the couch by cats. I think this is part of a larger AU but tbh I don’t care: Stiles, cats, relatable dilemmas, what more do I need?

When the Bough Breaks by The Feels Whale (miscellea) -- Teen Wolf -- 12k words -- A bit of a weird one, but sometimes I like my TW fic weird. post-canon-ish/canon-divergence with endgame Sterek; Stiles is on the outs with Derek’s pack until they learn that he’s adopted a baby, and then they’re suddenly all over to dote on her. I actually really mostly liked this for Stiles’ single parent struggles and (platonic) relationship with the baby’s birth mother, the werewolf stuff & romance was cute but mostly incidental.

it's a new craze by attheborder -- Good Omens -- 5k words -- Crowley & Aziraphale start an advice podcast

Hot Springs and New Beginnings by CorundumBleu -- Hollow Knight -- 3k words -- in a good ending universe, Quirrel, the Knight, and The Last Stag relax at a hot springs and discuss hopes for the future. I recommend looking through CorundumBleu’s other HK fics as well -- there’s a couple other good fluff fics in there and some most angsty but still amazing stories! (I’m biased: CB is my sister & I helped edit these, but still, I think they’re great!)

Sufficient by atheilen -- The Goblin Emperor -- 2k words -- deaged!Maia; in which everyone and particularly Beshelar shows how much they care for and cherish Maia.

Sick Day by avg (AnxiousEspada) -- The Murderbot Diaries -- 4k words -- Overse & Arada are sick; Ratthi and later Murderbot visit to help them out. “To everyone’s surprise, a feverish Overse is SecUnit approved humor-fuel.” (P.S. if you like this fic consider checking out my sequel to it!)

Thrilling Night! Romantic Adventure at the Video Rental Store! by Masu_Trout --  Undertale -- 2.5k words -- wonderful Outsider POV of an employee at a video rental store who gets the admittedly uncertain priviledge of helping Alphys and Undyne pick out a movie to rent for their date night. I’m still not over the movie they end up picking, OMG.

Gonna add a reblog with BNHA, Natsuyu, Gravity Falls, and maybe some HP recs tomorrow.

Fulllmetal Alchemist, the anime and manga this sideblog is dedicated to. I'm not usually an anime person, but this freaking series.

Let me put it this way: I see that you have a She-Ra Icon. As She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is to kids cartoons, so FMA is to shonen anime.

I love two of the major secondary characters very much and want them to kiss and be happy despite the fact that they deserve to answer for their crimes.
