Full moon spell for welcoming winter, and officially acknowledged my affinity for winter/ice magic. I also meditated and programmed a few crystals. It was relatively simple, I got back from opening a new Dollar Tree, and then I had to turn around and cover a shift, but I feel good about it all.

A Full Moon Release Ritual
Note: When using fire, always be safety-conscious. Don’t do this ritual on a windy night, never leave the fire unattended, don’t place it near anything flammable, and have water ready to douse it should the need arise, etc, etc.
Supplies:
Paper and writing utensil of choice
Fireproof bowl
Lighter or matches
Water (to douse the fire if things go wrong)
Cleansing method of choice
Steps:
Gather your supplies, set up your space, and set the mood.
Cleanse yourself, your space, and your supplies.
Open your circle and call to any deities, spirits, or guides that you work with.
Ground yourself.
Make a list of all the things you wish to be rid of.
Light it on fire and put it in the fireproof bowl. As it burns, say, “Like the moon pulls the tides, so too does she pull me. As she goes through her phases, so, too, do I go through mine. As her light fades, so, too, shall my troubles. As is my will, so shall it be.”
Visualize your troubles being given to the moon as they rise in smoke, to fade with her. Even if she is hidden behind clouds and you can’t see her, she will take them.
Wait until the smoke has cleared and the ashes have cooled to finish the ritual. Don’t leave early.
When finished, thank the moon and anyone you worked with, close your circle, and clean up.

today is a full moon, on a friday, which is good for self love (and other love/lust matters) but I'm going to suggest a spell for self love
This is a super easy one, we need a slip of paper, a writing utensil, and if you're feeling fancy a bit of thread in a color you personally love & think represents the self love you want to have
We will take our writing utensil, we will write an affirmation on the bit of paper.
*If you are like me and feel better with almost too specific directions, here they are. My paper is the size of a business card folded 'hot dog' style (or horizontally, thank you google!), my pen color is black (what I had) and my affirmation is "I appreciate myself, even my flaws". I have chosen a baby pink embroidery thread- again, the thread is completely optional.*
Now, fold your slip of paper up nice and tight, however you like. I like to roll mine up like a little scroll.
If you've chosen to incorporate a bit of thread you will wrap & tie it around your affirmation. I like the number 3, so I wrap 3 times, and tie 3 knots, while repeating my affirmation 3 times. If you like a different number, go with it!
Final step... Go look up at the moon, and then leave it for the moon. If it's cloudy, that's fine, you can leave it outside to bask in natural energies all the same. Tonight, for me, it is cloudy.
*If you want, you can tell the moon your affirmation, and thank her for helping you see something to love in yourself even in the darkest hours, which is how I end this spell, but you may choose to end it another way, if you like*

Ugh, I did a full moon deep cleansing/banishing negativity spell last night and it didn't go how I wanted it to go.
First, because I didn't do my research beforehand, it took me a long time to do research on materials, herbs, & spell work before I actually got down to business. I'm not a beginner, but I still like to do my research before doing any spell, especially if it's a new type of spell (like what I was going for last night).
Second, when I tried centering and grounding myself, my mind was not having it. Which was weird because I wanted to do nothing more than witchcraft last night, and I kept thinking about it all throughout work. I even drank an extra energy drink to make sure that my CFS wouldn't interfere too much with my energy levels for the working, but all my motivation and attention span just poofed as soon as I said down to start the ritual. (Darn you, ADHD.)
Third, this is my first time burning something that wasn't a candle. I put a layer of sand at the bottom of my small cauldron, plus some herbs (only about three or four) and then a scroll that I had written down on it what I wanted removed from my life. The fire burned bigger and brighter than I had ever seen. It worried me so much that I couldn't focus on my intent or my chant. I just sat there with my candle snuffer in one hand and a glass of water in another, anxiously watching to see if it got too big for the cauldron. The flame was tall, but the fire wasn't wide, yet I still felt so panicked!!
At the end of the ritual, I felt like I might have made things worse for myself. Not that my spell backfired necessarily, but rather that it didn't work, and by virtue of it not working and the additional stress of the experience, I only added to the strife that I was trying to get rid of in the first place with this ritual.
Naturally, I'm not too happy with this experience. However, I can't neglect the fact that it was a very good teaching moment.
I feel like the methods and tools used were great for my intentions and goals, but I learned that maybe I needed to execute it differently so I can focus more on my energy/intent. Maybe instead of burning the scroll, I bury it using biodegradable paper and herbs that won't damage the Earth. Or maybe I'll find a different way of representing what I want banished and go from there. Maybe I make it a point to research what I want to do and how I want to do it the day before so that way I'm not rushed the day of the working.
This also taught me that I still have a lot to learn about alternatives and how to get into the right headspace for spellwork. Maybe I should have spent more time centering and grounding; maybe I should have listened to my non-compliant brain (affectionate) and did a different magical thing that matched my attention span. Regardless, my next study session will cover ways for ADHD people like me to center/ground themselves better.
I often rush into the workings because I want to feel that power that I felt when my other spells worked. I want to feel competent and capable in both the physical and metaphysical worlds. But I keep forgetting that it takes time, patience, and busts like these to mold me into a better, more powerful witch.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Witchcraft is a journey, and I should enjoy the ride. That's why, these next few workings, I'm going to focus more on building up the basics. Like I said, I'm not new, but I want the refresher so that I can feel that much more confident in my practices moving forward.
If you're struggling with being patient in your workings like I am, it's okay! You're not alone! We're in this together. Step by step, we'll get there, so let's enjoy each step as it comes. 💜 🌊

Attraction spells
Here are two attraction spells that you can do to attract romantic(and or non romantic) love, relationships, and passion into your life. This is how I do the spells; you can use what you have on hand. I burned both of these spells at the same time but you can do one at a time if that’s what you feel like. I also burned 3 bay leaves with my intentions while waiting for my spell to finish. 🫶
Tumblr media
These spells work best on the full moon, or waxing. From 12am-1am
1) Moon water attraction spell
Supplies:
- bowl
- mirror
- moon water
- rose oil
- red candle
- rose quartz
- cinnamon stick
- lavender
- jasmine
- red pepper
- butterfly pea flower
- hibiscus
Carve intentions into you candle, and stick it to the bottom of the bowl. Set the bowl on top of the mirror after you draw a sigil onto the mirror. Once done with that pour your moon water into the bowl. Add all your herbs/flowers into the water. Light candle and stir your intentions in with the cinnamon stick and meditate on your intentions.
Tumblr media
2) Attraction candle spell
Supplies:
- dish
- red candle
- rose quartz
- clear quartz
- salt
- pink himalayan salt
- sugar
- basil
- cinnamon
- rose petals
- jasmine
Mix the sugar, salt, pink salt, herbs, and flowers together in your dish, with your left hand, setting your intentions as well. I used a heart dish that my cat knocked over and broke. Carve your full name into the candle, and then anoint the candle with the rose oil. Place the candle in the dish and light. Meditate on your intentions.
‼️remember to burn things in a well ventilated area‼️
‼️and do love spells of any kind with caution‼️
happy witching friends !

✨ Tarot Numerology ✨
Tumblr media
ONE
The Leader
Numerology Meaning:
The number 1 is about initiation, originality, and stepping out into the world with purpose. As the first step out of infinite potential (zero), 1 stands alone, symbolizing individual identity, willpower, and the courage to create. Historically, 1 is the mark of primal force—the singular essence from which everything flows. In numerology, it’s the energetic core of independence, ambition, and the spark to innovate.
Tarot Perspective:
In the Tarot’s pip cards, the Aces of each suit carry this singular, potent energy. They represent pure forms of the suit’s element—raw potential that holds all possibilities within it, waiting to be expressed. Just as 1 represents an unshaped force, each Ace is a pure idea, whether in action (Wands), emotions (Cups), intellect (Swords), or physicality (Pentacles). These Aces invite us to seize opportunities with confidence and be bold in our pursuits.
TWO
The Diplomat
Numerology Meaning:
The number 2 brings balance, harmony, and relational awareness. It’s about duality—the first reflection, the dance between two forces, and the desire for unity and partnership. Historically, 2 has symbolized the divine feminine, yin energy, and the space of receptivity. It’s a number of gentle strength, peacekeeping, and the intuitive drive to connect.
Tarot Perspective:
In the pip cards, the Twos depict the ways we connect, reflect, and balance in each element. Whether it’s a decision (Swords), a new partnership or harmony in emotions (Cups), steady progress in material pursuits (Pentacles), or a balancing act in action (Wands), the Twos reveal how we respond to relationships and decisions. Like the number 2, these cards emphasize the quiet strength in collaboration and the subtle wisdom of patience and timing.
THREE
The Creator
Numerology Meaning:
The number 3 is a dynamic, expressive force of creativity and expansion. It’s the fusion of the initial two energies (1 and 2) into a creative whole, representing communication, growth, and joyful expression. Historically, 3 is connected to the principles of birth and development, a number that thrives in social and creative environments, promoting joy and fertility.
Tarot Perspective:
The Threes in the pip cards embody this energy of creation and growth. In Wands, it’s the first steps toward actualizing dreams; in Cups, it’s celebration and community; in Swords, it’s the understanding gained through pain or loss; in Pentacles, it’s teamwork and craftsmanship. Each suit shows how 3 encourages us to move beyond ourselves, combining effort with passion to shape something new.
FOUR
The Foundation
Numerology Meaning:
4 represents stability, structure, and reliability. In numerology, it’s associated with the four elements, directions, and seasons—grounding forces that bring order to life. 4 is practical, focused, and foundational, favoring systems, organization, and discipline.
Tarot Perspective:
The Fours in the pip cards manifest as the foundational aspects of each suit. In Wands, it’s the grounding of achievements; in Cups, it’s emotional stability or contemplation; in Swords, it’s rest and mental recovery; in Pentacles, it’s financial stability or holding on to resources. These cards show how 4’s stability brings a solid base to each element, though it sometimes carries a sense of inertia, requiring a conscious effort to move forward.
FIVE
The Adventurer
Numerology Meaning:
5 is the number of freedom, movement, and change. It introduces the unpredictable, challenging us to adapt and expand our horizons. Historically, 5 symbolizes humanity’s sensory experiences and the drive to explore. It thrives on energy, pushing limits, and living in a space of constant discovery and sometimes disruption.
Tarot Perspective:
The Fives in the pip cards embody this restless and sometimes chaotic energy. They represent conflict (Wands), emotional hardship (Cups), mental challenges (Swords), and financial strain or material lack (Pentacles). Each Five brings tension or discomfort, urging us to confront, question, and adapt. In this way, they reflect 5’s adventurous yet unpredictable spirit, which, while challenging, drives growth and resilience.
SIX
The Nurturer
Numerology Meaning:
6 is harmony, nurturing, and responsibility. It reflects compassion, community, and a balanced home life, often associated with service and love. Historically, 6 has been seen as the number of perfection and balance, promoting healing and relationships.
Tarot Perspective:
The Sixes in the pip cards capture themes of restoration and connection. Wands shows victory and public recognition, Cups delves into nostalgia and shared memories, Swords highlights journeys and transitions, and Pentacles reveals generosity and material support. These cards express 6’s nurturing energy, reminding us to cultivate harmony, support others, and seek peace within and around us.
SEVEN
The Seeker
Numerology Meaning:
7 is introspective, spiritual, and analytical. It represents the quest for deeper understanding and the mysteries of life. Historically revered as a sacred number, 7 embodies wisdom, inner strength, and a desire to understand the hidden truths.
Tarot Perspective:
In the pip cards, the Sevens show moments of introspection and the need to go beyond the surface. The Wands reflect perseverance despite challenges; the Cups present illusions and choices; the Swords show cunning or strategic thinking; the Pentacles emphasize patience and evaluation. Each suit’s Seven prompts us to dig deeper, calling for self-reflection, and urging us to align with our own truth.
EIGHT
The Achiever
Numerology Meaning:
8 is the number of material mastery, strength, and accomplishment. It’s associated with abundance, power, and the balancing of spiritual and material realms. Historically, 8 reflects infinity and the natural cycles of life, emphasizing responsibility and resilience.
Tarot Perspective:
The Eights in the pip cards reveal how each element achieves mastery and balance. In Wands, it’s momentum and fast-moving energy; in Cups, it’s emotional resilience and the courage to leave behind what doesn’t serve; in Swords, it’s mental entrapment that requires strength to overcome; in Pentacles, it’s diligent, focused work. These cards embody 8’s ambitious and disciplined energy, showing how mastery demands persistence and often involves sacrifice.
NINE
The Humanitarian
Numerology Meaning:
9 represents universal love, wisdom, and completion. It carries a sense of fulfillment, reflection, and the giving back of one’s learned insights to others. Historically, 9 has been seen as the number of the elder and the humanitarian, encouraging selflessness and empathy.
Tarot Perspective:
In the pip cards, the Nines reflect both the challenges and fulfillment of completion. Wands depict resilience despite near exhaustion; Cups offer emotional satisfaction and wishes fulfilled; Swords show anxiety and worry; Pentacles celebrate material success and independence. The Nines hold 9’s humanitarian spirit, reminding us to connect deeply with our experiences, learning and growing as we prepare to move forward.
TEN
The Whole
Numerology Meaning:
10 is a number of fulfillment, closure, and the start of a new cycle. It represents both the ending and beginning, incorporating the dynamism of 1 with the boundless nature of 0. Historically, 10 has been the number of the “great wheel,” symbolizing the completion of journeys.
Tarot Perspective:
In the pip cards, the Tens express the culmination of each suit’s journey. The Wands bring the weight of success and responsibility; Cups bring emotional fulfillment within family or community; Swords depict the finality of mental strain; Pentacles reflect the legacy of material wealth and stability. Each card carries the essence of 10 as a cycle that has reached fullness, preparing for a new phase with both the wisdom and challenges of what came before.

FULL MOON WAS EVERYTHING I COULD HAVE POSSIBLY WANTED
I was sooooo ready to be disappointed with the miscommunication trope in this episode, but it was PERFECT. It didn't feel silly or contrived, it felt like a hell of a lot got actually communicated and the issues arose from, y'know, the characters themselves having issues. Also, the soundscaping for that last scene was so fucking good. Starting with the music that fully did not match Blitz's intended mood, then transitioning to dead silence and then the added echo to their voices when they entered the last room, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA—
I just. Everything that I wanted to get said got said! Stolas actually properly expressed his feelings, Blitz got pissed about it in a way that made clear where his personal issues lie, and then Stolas made it clear that that was a super unfair way to think of him, which is something that's been bothering me for a W H I L E. Apology Tour seems like it's going to be Blitz apologizing, which I didn't think it was gonna be just due to the preview shots, but is exactly what I actually wanted. Stolas has genuinely done his fucking best and it was good! It was really good!!!!!!
A lot of stolitz's relationship has been Stolas doing his best to communicate and Blitz just outright ignoring the words coming out of his mouth in favor of his own assumptions and I am delighted that finally it has come to a head in a way that allowed both of them to get their word in.
(Also honorable mentions to Blitz begging for the book BREAKING MY FUCKING HEART, Loona semi-inadvertently making Blitz's insecurities like 10x worse, and Loona + M&M being absolutely fantastic in every way during the fight scene!)
10/10 painful episode, but the pain was extremely cathartic. I feel like a wound has been lanced.

Stolas: A Gradual Descent to the Bottom of the Bottle
This post analyzes Stolas's situation with alcohol and discusses whether the show effectively represents this systemic issue, and what it implies about real life.
The take is certainly not unique, but I decided to post it anyway to spread awareness about how subtle, seemingly harmless, occasional drinking can seamlessly turn into a full-blown addiction over time.
TW: substance abuse, addiction, alcoholism
Is Stolas an alcoholic?
The answer seems obvious at first. You look at him—all posh, intelligent, and articulate—and you might think, "He doesn’t look like one." You won’t find him, Satan forbid, somewhere under a porch, or truly dependent on the bottle, like drinking during the day—or not absinthe, anyway.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sure, he drinks sometimes, but it’s fine . . . right? Everyone drinks sometimes. Everyone deserves to feel a bit happier after something bad happens once.
Tumblr media
Or twice.
Tumblr media
Or thrice . . .
Tumblr media
. . . Oh.
Not so obvious anymore, eh?
The real issue here is that the answer is kind of between 'yes' and 'no.' My TL;DR is that the show makes it pretty clear his drinking is becoming problematic, but it’s not quite there yet. And it will become alcoholism soon enough if nothing changes.
I think what we see happening to Stolas right now is an excellent, textbook example of how people end up there. So let’s get into his head, explore where he stands, and what it means for us and for him.
It starts easy
It doesn’t happen in one day. It's not like you get up early one especially glum morning and decide, "Hey, that's a good day to ruin my life!"
It's a vulnerability that makes you susceptible to drinking. Constant pressure. Anxiety. Depression. Trauma.
Tumblr media
And you might find yourself wanting to do everything, anything, to get it out of your brain. Not think about it for one evening. Forget.
Tumblr media
What a pathetic fucking man!
Her attacking you, whether physically, verbally, in public or private. You, having no one to turn to, having no way to mend it, having to keep up appearances for your kid.
We all have bad days. Bad situations. It’s not to say that one wild night is inevitably going to turn you into an alcoholic. But when you allow the bottle to be your crutch for life, when it becomes a habit to avoid uncomfortable, traumatic events, then . . .
Then it turns into a coping mechanism
You know, it’s . . . it’s simpler. It’s comfortable. Soothing.
You can’t kick her out of the house. You can’t make the man you love love you back. You can’t get a support network because she ostracized you from royal social circles and made a laughing stock out of you.
But you can forget. Forget that one excruciatingly humiliating night. Where not only was all your dirty laundry thrown out on the dance floor for everyone to see, but also, that said romantic interest made it clear it’s only about sex.
Tumblr media
You used to have a smoking wife, a kid, you had it all! I hope you didn't give it up so you and him could get it up
Tumblr media
Stolas, don't act like what we have is anything but you wanting me to fuck you, okay? You make that really clear all the time.
Forget well enough to fall asleep drunk on the floor among the only living beings who didn't run from you yet. Maybe only just because they are in pots and don't have legs.
And it spirals out of control
Things get gradually worse. Your only lifeline—your . . . uh, romantic interest and daughter—fall out of reach. He finds every reason to avoid you. She hasn't visited you since that LA incident.
Your only power move with a divorce request turns into a lengthy, exhausting proceeding and leads to an assassination attempt. Your—what are you even anymore?—romantic interest pretty much ignores your distress call, or so you think.
You go with a showdown. You can't stand the ambiguity anymore. You want to know whether there's something behind your transactional thing. It's either 'yes' or 'no,' and . . .
It doesn't end too well.
Tumblr media
Lastly, you go to a party to try to unwind (or at least be polite, because it's rude to ignore invitations). But your ex's (???) ex acts cruelly, and you don't feel comfortable there. And the wound is still fresh, bleeding . . .
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fuck it, the absinthe won't cut it. Beelzejuice it is then.
Tumblr media
And here we are, back to our starting question
Stolas wears a functional alcoholism guise. Or dangerously close to it. Because that's what I believe is going on.
He is still a functional member of society, but he is shown not being capable of processing his trauma without the bottle in hand. And, as things get worse for him, we see the bottle or the glass or any other alcohol container more often on the screen.
For now, he's hanging on, but it's just a matter of a flip switch—the moment when every second of his life will start to feel unbearable without alcohol, simply because there are no other ways to cope.
It's worth noting, though, that Stolas isn't the only character depicted struggling with the urge to drink away his problems.
The most obvious example is Verosika, who is a severe case of alcoholism. We won't delve deep into her character since I want to focus on gradual decline rather than the end result, but we rarely see her without a bottle. There are a couple of scenes where she doesn't hold one, but these moments are situational. She's also been to rehab at least once and only got out because of her reputation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But there is another character I'd like to dissect, because this will answer the lingering question, "Is there a way out?"
Blitzø, and why he didn't fall victim to this
We saw Blitzø drinking too, at the Bee’s party. To a rather disturbing degree, actually.
Tumblr media
But why does no one say he has an alcohol problem, even though he did use alcohol as a coping mechanism?
Because Blitzø is an example of how the addiction might be prevented and what ultimately makes a difference, a turning point.
To start off, we first see him not in the bar. We see him at home with a pint of melting ice-cream. Dude sugar-bombed himself to sleep . . . after the already mentioned disastrous date with Stolas at Ozzie's, that is.
Tumblr media
And then he gets a call from Loona, who asks to pick her up from the party. He has no plans to stay there whatsoever.
But what changed his mind? Pressure did.
Tumblr media
He was pressured by both Loona and an old acquaintance to stop by. (I stress that no one is wrong for this, by the way—he still had the agency to turn the invitation down.) He reluctantly agreed to one drink . . . which we know how ended.
Tumblr media
It's much harder to keep it to just one drink when you're sad and alcohol makes you feel better. Nobody wants to be sad.
Tumblr media
But with all that said, Blitzø is extremely resilient. In contrast to Stolas—who is strong in his own way but slipping despite all the privilege, magic, and immortality that Blitzø thinks make him invincible—Blitzø never let that one drinking occasion become a habit.
Because he has a support network. However closed off he is, he has his business to take care of, Loona, and M&M. He has things he likes to do and he has people he cares about.
Stolas has all the money in the world, but no friends or activities he could look forward to. He doesn't seem happy with his royal life at all, referring to himself as an owl in a gilded cage.
Tumblr media
So the difference is, essentially, this: Blitzø has alternatives and doesn't see alcohol as an outlet. There is a wonderful post from @warblogs17282 which has similar points I make, but also, it shows another angle of Blitzø's relationship with alcohol—his, unfortunately, long history with addiction in family. So that contributes, too.
Is Stolas a lost cause?
Gods, no. But it’s definitely a problem by this point.
Is he an active alcoholic? Maybe not yet. He isn't Verosika yet. But he is getting there, which I think is the point the show makes.
Alcohol might be a one-time patch on especially rough days, and you might wake up the next day strong and aware enough not to make a habit of it. But the problem is, Stolas already has a habit, and he doesn't have anything to replace it.
To solve it, he needs just that—a replacement for the bottle. Someone who cares. My hope is that one particular red lizard will share his pint of ice cream and his love. And maybe then, grim days won't be as grim anymore, even when the absinthe stays in the store, or wherever these royals get their alcohol.
Closing note. Why it’s important to talk about this in real life context
Warning: Extreme TMI
I had an alcoholic in the family, and this topic triggers me because, for him, it also started as "no biggie."
He was still functional for years, coming to work regularly. But he was slipping. He drank more, skipped work, and eventually became unbearable for his family—my family, even if not immediate. His wife requested a divorce. He got isolated. He drank even more. Eventually, he got fired because it's not appropriate for a director to skip work and reek of ethanol. The smell was so strong that people couldn't be in the same room with him. He tried other jobs. He aced interviews thanks to 30 years of experience and a solid background. But he got fired again because he couldn't live up to his legacy anymore. At the end, he descended into what you would call full-blown alcoholism.
So, you followed his story, and my question is: Did it start here, when he couldn't help it anymore? Or did it start a couple of years before that, when alcohol became too comfortable as an outlet for struggles?
I've had rough months too—with the war in Ukraine and everything happening with my family—when I realized it became comfortable for me to drink my problems away. Because it works. Because it’s pleasant not to deal with anything, to force your brain to shut up and be happy for one evening.
And it's terrifying to realize I had (thankfully, I don't have anymore for a long time by now) those patterns of thinking: "Jeez, I just want to drink and forget this happened."
Because I saw where it leads. And the farther you go, the harder it becomes to say 'no.'
So please, pay attention to the ones you care about. Pay attention to yourself.

*Spoilers for HB Full Moon*
I don’t have my thoughts coherent enough to make a clear post so im just gonna ramble
GOD this episode was a trip. Was expecting it to all be Stolitz, and then it took a hard turn with the Cherubs and the FBI, and to be honest I couldn’t care less about them. It wasn’t bad by any mean, but I was disappointed to see over half the episode titled “Full Moon” was gonna be about something other than Stolitz
And then in the last FIVE MINUTES they pull out all the stops and give us this
Tumblr media
VIV YOU WERE HOLDING OUT ON US
I love the way this episode did misunderstandings, which is something people usually hate, because you can SO EASILY see where everyone’s coming from, and they are both completely justified. Stolas only meant good, he wanted to break the toxic deal he had with Blitzo, and he was very thorough about it. But he took Blitzo’s first bad reaction as a sign that he didn't love him, instead of giving him time to think. And Blitzo’s first reaction to someone loving him and genuinely wanting the best for him to be that they’re faking it HURTS. His outburst seems irrational but when you take into consideration how much he’s been rejected, it almost makes sense that he would assume Stolas is getting rid of him, because he’s SO CONVINCED that no one could ever love him.
And I was expecting pain, but I was NOT expecting Stolas to be choking through his tears hurt by Blitz
Tumblr media
THIS WAS A STEP TO FAR VIV I THOUHT WE WER FRENDS
I also LOVE how this episode establishes Stolas’s charachter growth. Going back to the first episode, Im sorry but these are NOT the same people
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before Stolas was cruel and dismissive of Blitzo, only wanting to sleep with him. But now he’s grown into someone who genuinely loves him, and is willing to give up their relationship if thats what would make Blitzo happy. And this was all super subtle, over the course of many confrontations. You almost don’t realize it’s happening, but it feels so natural. You can FEEL how much Stolas loves Blitzo in this scene, and genuinely wants the best for him.
Also How Blitzo looked so HAPPY to see Stolas, he went on a night out shopping for him and looked SO EXITED to finally see him. And just how DESPERATE he looks when Stolas is saying he wants the grimware back, literally crying and begging Stolas to reconsider. I dont think I need to say this but I dont think this is about the book. GOD I hurst that the first time we’ve seen Blitzo exited about seeing stolas AND IT END LIKE THIS.

edit: I LOVE people pointing out that Blitzo screaming at Stolas might have reminded him of his toxic relationship with Stella, which might be why he shut down and cried, because that’s what he did with her.
