Student confessed to sneaking in the dorms on a dare after some prodding. Due to providing evidence, this was not added to their record and it will be kept as such. - R.G

Description of Events

Former student, at the time intern: Izuku Midoriya (21) was seen following Eri Aizawa (12) from behind throughout the teacher dormitories, seeming to be arguing with her.

Eri maintained an aggressive, brisk walk while Midoriya paced slightly slower behind her. Witness only heard part of the conversation:

"How can you say that Midoriya!?, it's his fault they're dead!"

[note the usage of surname]- Hornet

"E-Eri Chan, look I know things are looking grim-"

"Looking grim!?." (She turns around, Eri is visibly crying) "Midorya, 27 people are dead!. You can't keep doing this. You can't keep covering for him!."

"Eri, I Know-" (dialougue lost as student found hiding spot)

"For fucks sake Midoriya, he blew up a school!. Somebody's kid is dead because of him and you-keep-doing-this-shit! (Her fist bangs against the nearby wall with each '-')"

(Midoriya looks shocked at her reaction, Eri continues to yell. student moves in pursuit, parts of the covo were lost as a result)

"I'm done, I'm fucking done!. You didn't say anything when _ died, you didn't move when Japan lost it's industry or when-"

(Student secures a new position)

[Midoriya replies with something but is temporarily obscured, muffling his response]

"Oh, but now that you can be of use to him, you think he'll suddenly think of you as something other than a "Deku"!?"

(There's a moment of silence as Eri's expression turns somber, she shakes her head and begins to turn. Midoriya wears a blank expression)

"I can't believe I ever believed in you." (Eri begins to walk away)

As Eri walks away, nearly out of the students view, Midoriya speaks. Though it was too quiet for the student to fully hear.

Student then claims that Midoriya then mumbled something about Kacchan and "always be a hero" [Likely alluding to Katsuki Bakugo], loud enough that Eri could hear it fully. [ coincides with camera footage ]

Eri froze in place for approximately 10 seconds, her posture getting even more rigid during this time. Her face twisting into a mixture of shock and rage as her entire frame rattles.

Eri is then described as having "moved in a flash" and proceeded to begin strangling Midoriya, bringing him to his knees. her pupils dilated and teeth bared in rage.

Midoriya is noted to not have fought back, not even once during the entire incident.

Student found me first and the alarm was sounded, 3 teachers arrived in the scene (being Aizawa, Snipe and Cementoss).

Eri was still strangling Midoriya when we arrived, both were unresponsive to any outside stimulus. Although upon being pried off Eri made no effort to fight back, rather she intensly glared at Midoriya with an icy stare.

Midoriya was unresponsive even when put on a stretcher and as of time of writing [1 hour after the incident] he still appears disassocitive.

Personal Notes:

Honestly Nedzu, I don't think this episode of Midoriya's is from Eri alone, though it definitely played a factor.

This has been a long time coming and the recent incident at Somei was the cherry on top and for the love of God, please keep Ectoplasm away from Eri, she's impossible to work with when she's so on guard.

I understand Aizawa's having a hard time since Mic's Broadcast (X67) but if he keeps neglecting her like this, I'm going to take her in myself. It's becoming a hazard for us and UA and you know it.

can anyone tell from that title that i’m salty yet?

so major spoilers ahead about which i couldn’t care less, but people love this game and i want to be polite, and as objective as i can be, so: please be warned, DD2 ending and boss moveset is discussed under Keep reading. if you want to experience the ending for yourself, spoiler free, do not read

Edit: you know, after contemplating about it, i realized - it’s not a bug, it’s a feature (tm.). this is distilled quintessence of everything wrong with this game. it shows you everything, places all cards down and punishes you one almost-last time if you cared or paid attention - the last time will be in the very last cutscene, if you pay attention to the lower part of it. if this, too, doesn’t bother you, you won’t have any issues with this game. if you did, this will be the last nail you needed to lean back and take time to contemplate your choices.

i think they shouldn’t fix this. because this is what Darkest Dungeon had become, and they should be honest about it and their attitude.

so. the big bad boss on the throne has a move called Face Your Failure - which, as the title suggests, summons what the chatacter you select (Come unto thy maker-style) thinks is his biggest failure in life. Para gets her zombie mentor, Barristan gets the spectre of his fallen comrades, Audrey... gets a zombie of the husband who tortured... and... abused her...? Including sexually...? Do you want to tell something by showing this, RH...? Something very, very dubious...?

But I digress. I’m here to show you that writing in DD2 makes no goddamn sense (tm.) by pointing to our beloved rateating highwayman:

Namely, pay close attention to the mob it summons for Dismas

it isn’t too obvious, and the arena is spun wide to see all of the tentacles and the iron crown, so here is a closeup:

notice anything interesting about its weapons? let me give you a hint.

this is the guard from the clown car the stagecoach that Dismas robbed in his backstory, in which the woman and child were. the ones he killed by his reflexes misfiring after the fight was over accidentally “in erratic gunfire”. the ones which spiked his guilt. the ones which pushed him into character development and coming to Hamlet and trying to find redemption. you know? that tiny miny plotpoint thing which was the culmination of his backstory and made him the character who we knew? that passing thing?

and this is the prison guard from his very first shrine:

do you notice the weapon choice? the stagecoach guards have swords while prison guards have batons. and the big bad boss summons a spectre of Dismas biggest failure. with a baton in hand. a prison guard.

I... genuinely dunno what to say, because the implication, unless I’ve lost my mind, is that Dismas’ biggest failure in life was getting out of prison. and this scene in the credits:

makes no goddamn sense (tm.) because this is not his biggest failure - prison is. the locket isn’t tormenting. it’s not shameful. it’s just there. it means nothing. because a cosmic deity which supposedly knows all of existence showed Dismas his biggest fear - and it had nothing to do with killing innocents.

i could’ve chalked it to cuts on model prices. but Audrey received a new model of her deceased husband. if Dis got a spectre of the woman he killed, the ghost of the child staring at him, anything - Reynauld’s corpse half-eaten by the Heart of Darkness for fuck’s sake! - it would’ve been better. but no. he has a prison guard. because who cares. it looks cool and that’s enough.

on a more personal note... i’m happy i didn’t have the money to buy early access. i genuinely am. i’m tired. i know i would never buy it, now. not after their eradication of Reynauld, not after how they butchered Dismas. if you can enjoy the game - more power to you. i’m not here to police your fun. but for me... DD2 got cancelled during development stage, and only thanks to Shibs’ vigilence we got to see the models and animations. but nothing else exists because accepting it is a far too tall of an ask.

A: BETTER MOTIVATION FOR THIS END CHOICE (why didn’t we spend the the season with them realising they missed their powers and were better off with them and actually (ACTUALLY) hated their life without them, subsequently realising that because it would inevitably lead to the end of the world, they’d actually prefer giving up their life to save the world. Just change the choice (Sake) at the start to all of them voting to get their powers back and then it’s an ACTUAL tragedy)

OR

B: HAVE A SCENE WHERE THEY (at least (at FUCKING least)) LAY THEIR LOGIC OUT, about their end.

Also: the world is grim enough as it is. I don’t need a blob swallowing the heroes, without them getting bare minimum a semi-happy ending.

(Why didn’t anyone (Viktor/Allison) believe Klaus when he talked about how Ben died??? Why were they all apparently clueless? Cuz RH could’ve messed with Klaus’s white matter, but Klaus has been hanging out with Ben ever since)

Also, also: how tf does the family exist without them? Like… that doesn’t track at all? How? And why/how is Reggie the voice-over, for the end?

Furthermore: I don’t necessarily agree with the read that Lila and Five would not have started a relationship. What I don’t get is

1) why it would’ve taken them so long (Lila and Five have had a whole Enemies/Lovers thing since she showed up) (In my opinion this should’ve occurred during the time-skip (I don’t agree with Lila/Five, but the “sub”text has been there))

2) Why Five would’ve withheld the fucking map. Like. Why? It makes no f*cking sense. (AND WHY WOULD HE NOT JUST HAVE LOGIC’ED IT HIMSELF. THEY WERE THERE FOR SEVEN. YEARS. If we were gonna have a betrayal, make it his own work that Lila then finds, for crying out loud.)

Also what happened to the Ben on the tube in Japan? Or is that me just having a Mandela effect memory?

Adding: If you wanna give me a tragic ending, give me one. But then you gotta make it so that it is all of (or bare minimum, most of) the heroes choice, that we end up there. Like… The simple quick fix here is that a way back in time is found, to stop Ben with the sake, and subsequently everything else.

(If you wanted to make Abigail Hargreeves an Anti-hero/villain type, then make her “adopt” all of them, the second they came to this timeline. Would’ve made the twist WAY better.)

Which brings me to my last point:

2 ways the series could’ve ended, that would’ve been way more interesting/dope:

1: Everyone (semi-)unanimously vote to get their powers back. The season follows much of the same plot, except they’ve all SELECTED it. It becomes a tragedy, about heroes so unwilling to let their powers go, that they would rather not live at all/end the world, than be without them.

2: Abigail is the “mastermind” in the “true” timeline. This still leads to the Umbrella Academy, but the Jennifer Incident does not play the same:

A) Reggie is killed before ‘89, leading to Abigail (who honestly seems WAY smarter and more caring than Reggie), to not lead them on the Jen mission, but something else, way more juicy happens (cue ep 7 & 8, a)

B) She “instructs” Reginald to only kill Jennifer, since Jen&Ben do not touch skin to skin. The Durango is still loose (cue ep 7 & 8, b)

I will come back to my to proposed 7&8’s soon. Promise.

Favourite RotE Book: assassin's quest and fool's fate are constantly vying for the number one slot and the answer changes day by day

Why: on aq days it's bc that's the book that took this series from "wow i really like this" to "oh i'm going to be obsessed with these for the rest of my life huh." it has, i think, the best ending. it has my favorite chapter (ch 20 jhaampe my beloved). parts of it hit very close to home. on ff days it's bc well ff is insane. no book has ever gotten the reaction out of me that that one did. i do not cry at books; it made me cry seven times. it has such excellent payoff for stuff that was set up in the earliest books (rh queen of playing the long game). most heartwrenchingly beautiful moments on earth just chapter after chapter of them.

Top Three Favourite Characters: i think i am one of the few people whose favorite character genuinely is fitz lol. beloved obv number two. after that the answer also changes every day but i'm very partial to web and kettricken.

I think shifting in a way to use the universe, in a manipulation and abusive way is wrong. Shifting to change appearances to one that fits this reality’s beauty standards, for example, I believe it’s wrong, instead of addressing your internalized systems (the oppressive systems) and accepting not just your appearance, but also the appearance of others, you’re using the universe to shift in a reality where you fit this reality’s beauty standards on purpose while keeping those oppressive beauty standards. And find that super wrong, and have to call it out because who else will? especially considering the fact that from what know the universe can’t defend themselves against such stuff and even if it had the power to, it couldn’t really, other people would have to call it out. Shifting to an exploitative reality for the sake of exploitation is also super wrong, for example, shifting to be rich in a capitalist world. Like y’all should really question your internalized oppressive beliefs instead of accepting them and shifting to a different reality to fulfill them. Do y’all see now why it’s fucking wrong? /rh

Why I personally liked the poll reference:

Look, it wasn't yet another crowbar joke. It wasn't a poll like in RH/A or B&R, just for an echo of a fucked up thing DC did in the past - even then, it's kinda... hard to say is it an easter egg for the sake of an easter egg, kinda like MCU does; or is it a commentary. With the previous iterations being Morrisson and Lobdell, I don't expect much.

But webtoon seems to get it. Yeah, okay, there is a poll - Bruce shows it to Jason (and correct me if I'm wrong, but where do people get the idea the poll was sourced by Bruce?) - and more people lean toward no, Batman shouldn't keep the new Robin - which, you kinda can interpret it differently. I, for one, would not let Batman keep the new Robin. Or any Robin. Like, okay, don't start with "but he wanted that! he would be doing it anyway!" etc etc bc you clearly don't know what you sound like; the one argument I can accept is "Robin is for kid readers to project to" but this is not, like, in-universe explanation. Imagine being a random Gotham citizen. And a boy younger than you, could be your son, could be your brother - is out there risking his life? Is it something tolerable? Does it not feel like you failed, as a citizen, if you put children in this position? "they want that" - okay, you could say the same about kids that start working at, like, fourteen, or earlier. They surely want to work, because they want to eat, or live in a house, or have any basic necessity their peers have for granted. Kids shouldn't be working - we have laws against child labor for that exact reason (I am forcing myself not to derail on that topic). So a society where a kid works is a society that failed that kid. A city where a kid is a vigilante is equally a failed one. So put yourself into the shoes of a random-ass Gotham citizen and check how you feel about it. Should, indeed, Batman keep the Robin? Like, good luck stopping him! But should he?

This is not a question of whether Robin should die. Or whether this Robin is cooler or lamer than the previous one. Not for me, at least.

Yeah, no, I know Bruce makes it out to be that Jason doesn't know the city as well as he thinks, that the city hates him, that he surely did something for the city to hate him, probably misunderstood what the city really needs... but he's wrong. He's like. Very wrong. Jason wasn't wrong, the stolen bike wasn't worth Batman's involvement, the teen who stole it didn't deserve to go to jail over it, and the breaking up of the stolen goods fence ring was, indeed, not going to amount to anything while there are people who answer to people who answer to people. He might have been wrong because the change should come from the bottom as well as from the top. But that's it, folks. He's right about everyone else.

Like, I don't know if you should take the poll at face value at all. If you should believe Bruce. Maybe Gotham citizens do hate the new Robin, the previous one was cooler. But if that's what's behind their answers - like, fuck them? Jason is right, and being popular with the masses has nothing to do with it. He's not canvassing for voters, pun not intended.

IDK, I just vibe with this issue. And honestly don't get where the criticism comes from.

So we are all sad about the last tour concert? Because i was in that mood since 2016, when they came to my country and i could not go for varius reasons, not only for not having money, you know third world and other stuff. I just hope being here and or wherever i could be in the next years for the next tour or album release or whatever they do, cause they are my favorite band, which it's kinda confused? 'cause sometimes i say: "man, i love this band or that other band" and yes i love those a lot, but what Radiohead means for me and a LOTS of people it's like irreplaceable... i would like to think, exactly i don’t know, but whatever.

The point here is that I just would like be here like a stan or something like that, you know, supporting them and talking with people who loves them as well.
