There is something so deeply horrifying about the fajr massacre to me that I cannot put in words. A lot of nonmuslims don’t get it, but Fajr is the most important prayer, it is the only one that gets its own call to prayer and in many ways it is kind of a litmus test for Muslims.

To know that as I lay asleep in my bed for my fajr, they woke up and died at theirs. I can’t help but feel guilty. I know they died in their best state, but I also know that even at their worst, they are better than me. I, who has everything, cannot do something so simple. And they, who have nothing, died for doing it.

There is something so uniquely cruel about attacking people as they pray a prayers done at like 4 in the morning, something so dangerous about it. I am reminded that it does not matter what you do, what we do, what they do, death has been written upon them like flys to a rotten fruit.

And to follow it up with the constant barrage of liberals and leftists alike who have planted ten toes down for Kamala. It just feels like our grief and our death does not matter to them.

I don’t care who you vote for, but you aren’t doing it for Palestine. Like you are doing it for your self and your community, and that’s fine, but don’t tell Palestinians or Muslims or Arabs what to do or say or vote. Cuz for us, that vote isn’t for our community. It just isn’t. And if you are unwilling to even let us pressure her into an embargo, I don’t think it ever will be.

the same group of people who watched a genocide unfold and said nothing are now subject to the big sads. folks, nobody has any reason to be sad about something your candidates willfully chose to do.

if anything, y'all should be getting angry. get angry at the people responsible for this in your own goddamned party. or don't, because gosh we all know how much of a fuckin hassle it was actually giving a shit during the 1st trump admin.

i guess that's why a lot of harris voters are now talking about wishing more hurricanes on the south (even though black people will be the most likely to be hurt by it) or calling ICE on latinos for having the fucking gall to not vote correctly; makes sense to just go full-on masks-off.

that's why i'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and all these sadsack assholes start switching over to full-blown fascism. i would fucking jizz my pants if i was proven wrong, believe you me, but a lifetime of experience and a neurodivergent hyperfocus on world history has told me a lot of people simply ain't got that shit in them.

Like, this is the realistic win condition for Republicans, states being able to illegalize abortion if they want. The democrats have done nothing to change that. Harris and Trump had the same opinion on abortion, which is to leave it up to the states. Like there's something deeply tiring about people suddenly caring about reproductive rights once an election happened, when they were already taken away.
